I went there in November of 2024 because I was desperate to get help. They were very helpful with getting me there, checking with me before I got there, and making sure I didn't change my mind about going (as most of us do when It comes to getting sober). I had an awesome time there, the staff was great (they had their off days, as us alcoholics/addicts do). We were busy most all day every day. They take you to the gym 3x a week, they do panels, and outside meetings as well. The facility itself is clean, there's laundry machines, snacks & coffee on deck 24/7, they take you to the vape shop and wal mart once a week, and they are working on more outside activities. There were tvs and DVD players in every unit with a TON of dvds. No bed time so you are free to roam around the facility or chill and watch TV. The groups got a little boring (but if you are with a good group of guys they are a lot of fun and informative). The way insurance and every thing works was a little frustrating because it's on a weekly basis if you stay on the treatment side or go to phase 2. You are allowed your phone 3x a day for a hour each time. The units are awesome, it is an apartment (if you go try to get into the one above the kitchen on the left haha). Mike who is one of the main dudes is an awesome person! I am currently on day 63 and if it weren't for the lighthouse I would most likely be either dead or in the process of drinking myself to death. If you are in need of help, do the hard thing and ask for it. The money, job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from going won't be there much longer if you continue to do what you're doing. I would like to express my gratitude to the Lighthouse and all the staff who had helped me and guided me. I stayed at the Lighthouse for about 90 days and in that timeframe I was able to receive one on one Care meet with a therapist. All my needs were met. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. I can go on and on about the good food from the private chef the heated pool the nurse on duty the technician that run groups and the counselor/psychiatrist,and the other clients that were there at my stay... but what really got me was soon as walked in the door the energy that overcame my body and In my belief the other countless souls of the people who came and left before me left a part of themselves there. And I knew that I was safe from whatever my problems were that they were gonna be taken care of I want everyone too know that starbridge recovery has saved me and has shown my family a new man one that they deserved for 30 years ..... thank you for saving my life everyone at starbridge and beyond. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. I am very happy with the treatment I received at Hathaway. The staff and therapist really care about you and I think that s number one when choosing a place to recover. The therapist are top notch!!! The amount I learned in the 2 months I spent was incredible. I wasn t a huge believer in group therapy before I came but the impact it had on me will last a lifetime. I had some ups and downs in treatment but overall my experience was wonderful and any complaints I have are minute compared to what I am able to take away. They invest in what matters. Shout out to George and Nicole - You guys really are the best managers!It s also a beautiful location and the view of the mountains is absolutely gorgeous. I'm lucky to have the privilege to attend his classes at The Salvation Army and every time it is an exceptional lesson I learn. His story from having nothing to being successful in school, attaining multiple degrees in college, and opening up rehabs of his own shows his determination and will power to want change and better for himself and still try to help others. I've been in and out of treatment many times throughout my addiction but Muse Treatment Center has been more than accommodating to the needs that i have for my addiction at this stage in my life. They have poured their heart and souls into this shit. I feel nothing but love from each and every staff member here. This place is the truth bro, their honest and have the integrity that most places I've been to sadly had not. They go the extra mile and take chances which showed me a new perspective and outlook on my life as an addict. I have so much love and respect for this place. Shout out to Joyce and Oscar for the amazing meals they make everyday and to Chuckie and Martin for the sick ass outings they take us on. Starting programs like that break trust from the first day! This place has heart, all the staff are saving lives one day at a time! 1st off I want to thank God for placing me in this place. I never dreamed when I showed up to Muse that I would be where I am now. This place gave me the tools I needed to support my recovery journey. The proof is in the pudding and I'm here to tell you guys I am the proof. MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

The staff, clinical teams, kitchen chefs, transportation team, and maintenance/cleaning services at the Lighthouse Anaheim work tirelessly day-in and day-out, 24/7, to ensure the proper care and treatment plans are administered to their clients. I have been here all together 202 days at the lighthouse, recently stayed 90 days.. I got nothing but good memories at the lighthouse, the staff is very approachable.. I heard over the years guys in there say that the program here isn't good.. I learned that it's not so much if it's good or bad but what I put into my own program and the lighthouse is a good place to find your real self if you're ready to let go of your own ways.. to honestly surrender.. and be honest with yourself..the lighthouse was my life saver and I knew their light is always on for me to come and feel welcomed each time I relapsed..I had the privilege to have visits from my best friend and family I wanna thank so many staff members for helping me. First of all I went in weighing 170 and left weighing a healthy 199 lbs thanks to my cooks Danny making me fat in a good way , mama B, Jessi, Rita and Christian making my meat perfect. Thank you to the drivers Glen, Rob (Rubano love that nickname), Jos and Wil for good conversations along the drives.. Thank you to client care women Christina and Lisette for getting things of work and medical business taken care of.. thank you to my girls Vanessa and Shannon for helping mentally.. thank you to the leaders of the lighthouse Teresa, Ladonna, Karla.. Jenna & Michelle Jesse. last but not least thank you to my support staff you guys made my stay fly by and had awesome talks when I was happy or mad or irritated thank you Mike, Austin,Eric, Mason, Nicole(detox), Stephanie, Amanda, Jake and Geo .. I came here for courtesy dose in August and again in November. They are great there! If I move out here this is the clinic I definitely would go here.The price for just 7 days of methadone was $140!! This is the 2 nd time I paid this price for a week. We don t have much money we are trying to get our lives back and this is a life or death medication for us.The methadone is way overpriced here, while it is not an expensive drug from the pharmacy.

From the moment I stepped into these door, I felt safe, understood, and welcome. The staff here were very supportive, compassionate, and encouraging. I became “a part of the family.” This is essential in recovery ❤️‍🩹. Family, that’s something that’s priceless. Windie, Christian, Vanessa, Alyssa the nurse, the entire staff have been there for me on many levels, on every level. It’s truly a blessing and I feel humbled and grateful to have been able to come here. The owners are involved and take the time to get to know us clients, the groups are amazing, informative, and the variety available to us allowed me to uncover the many layers that lead to my addiction. I was sick when I came in from withdrawals and was literally nursed back to health. There a personal chef on the weekdays that cooks gourmet type foods three times a day! They order breakfast lunch and dinner on the weekends from wherever we want, or agree on. The staff hangs out with us and play cards, pool table, ping pong 🏓. The views here are amazing, you can see downtown LA and Hollywood. There’s weights and a jacuzzi here. It’s an overwhelming experience too much to write! I am humbled to have been able to be a part of this and would recommend this to any of my friends or family if they are struggling with their addiction, this home made me optimistic about my recovery and I’m proud to be part of their recovery community, which welcomed me with arms wide open ❤️

My stay at Hollywood Hills Recovery was nothing less than life changing. I have never been to treatment before but within minutes there felt exactly like they always state “You may enter as a client, but you leave as family”. From just the house itself which is roomy and well kept, to the food (shout out Chef Ray and his cookies) to the techs and counselors (Cristian, Josh, Heather, Tristan, Wendie/Lovebug 😘, Rueben, Johnny) I was automatically put at ease. I originally planned to stay for just the 10 days of detox but (as I’m sure everyone there is tired of hearing! 💕) stayed an extra week for the mental health help . The therapists of all modalities (Hesou, Sarah (x2), Bill, Phillip, Gabe, Robert, Chris and more that I am sure I am leaving out) are amazing and make you feel heard and understood. The doctor is literally available 24/7 (not sure how he does it all) and willing to listen and adjust at all times. Not only have I left feeling like my time there is going to be looked at as the start of a better life for me and my family rather than the “burden” or “failure” I originally thought; I have found a beautiful family and community from all walks of life that I will cherish forever. Thanks again guys and keep changing lives!

I would like to thank all of the Wonder staff at Aegis Pasadena, they have helped me in so many ways!First off I would like to thank Susan (hopefully spelling her name correctly) who was the main manager, there when I got there 10 years ago- because if it literally wasn't for her, I would possibly still be out in the streets or worse.idk if she knows this but she literally changed my life that day.I came at a bad time that day of intake and I wouldn't have been able to dose then because of me coming so late from taking 3 buses to get there, So I was basically going to "check out" and go back to the streets to my addiction and possibly never come back again after I realized I wasn't going to be able to dose then.To make a long story short - I was able to go to the El Monte Clinic that day and dose there and come back to the Pasadena clinicSo I'm forever thankful to Susan for that day!also for all the chances you gave me!
