My husband was admitted to Live Oak Rehab on July 18, 2025, following a right total hip replacement. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Maly. I was initially worried that our insurance might not cover the services, but she reassured me and clearly explained that everything was authorized and covered by our provider. We were extremely satisfied with the care he received. Everyone—from social services staff like Gigi and Ruby, to Armando (RN), the physical therapists Allen, Ritz, Nancy, and the rest of the nursing team—was dedicated and kind. The facility is consistently well-maintained by the custodial staff. I would absolutely recommend Live Oak Rehab to anyone in need of a supportive and welcoming place for recovery.”

I don’t understand why this facility is not rated higher!!! My mom is there and the staff are incredible, accommodating, kind, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. I have literally entrusted them with my mom’s life after taking care of her for 20 years. Since she’s been there, she’s put on weight (which she desperately need to) and maintained her weight, she is happy every time I talk or visit with her. Her disposition is excellent. The only reason, I didn’t give them a 5 star rating is because of a communication issue, which has now been rectified. If you’re looking for a place to take care of your elderly loved ones, this is the place!!!!! Kudos to Gigi for her wonderful professionalism.

I recently had to place my dad in a rehab facility do to being hospitilized from a fall and head injury. I'm so thankful I found Live Oak. I can't say enough good things about their staff. Alex was amazing and always very communicative, day or night. Molly was great getting us situated and walking us through and what to expect. Gigi was awesome answering my 101 questions and always will to go above and beyond her normal responsibilities. All in all every person we encountered came across as caring and sincere, which to me is more important than fancy equipment and fresh coat of paint on the building walls. At the end of the day, everyone their got the job done in getting my dad healthy enough to go home. Thank you to all at Live Oak.

MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

Asana Recovery helped me overcome my alcohol addiction through their residential treatment program. Stayed for a month in a clean, modern complex in a single with its own shower and bathroom. Met a welcoming community and became friends with many. They provide meals and as much groceries as you’ll ever need. AA meetings were local and fun.

The staff, Doctors, and Nurse are wonderful. Very Professional staff. Tony the Security Guard is the nicest guard I have ever met. He treats everyone the same. And, none of the staff treat you as addicts or criminals. You end up coming and going from there like you have just visited a Family member’s house. Leaving Purpose today after residential treatment, I feel grateful for the experience and the people who supported me here. Coming in, I was at a really difficult point in my life, and the structure, care, and support I received helped me slow down, stabilize, and start rebuilding myself.
The staff truly care and treat clients with respect and patience, especially during the tough early days when everything feels overwhelming. The program gave me tools to better understand my addiction, my mental health, and the patterns I need to change moving forward. Group sessions and community support were especially meaningful because they reminded me I’m not alone in this journey.
Recovery isn’t easy, and no program can do the work for you, but Purpose provided a safe environment and the guidance I needed to begin that work. I’m leaving with more clarity, hope, and motivation than when I arrived, and for that I’m thankful.

I’m 55 years old and what I wanna say about Purposes Recovery is that they go above and beyond helping you with your wants your dreams and your needs. I’ve never been to a treatment center that allowed me to bring my dog with me. Purposes Recovery is allowing my five month old puppy to be with me. Not only that, but I was so screwed up in my disease that I couldn’t fly from Oregon to California without getting so drunk and missing the flight, So what did they do? They sent someone out to help me get on that flight and fly me down here to LA. No other treatment center I’ve ever been to has done anything like that either. The facilities are so nice. Very clean. I never felt like I was in a place that made me feel uncomfortable and I have pretty high standards. I would recommend Purposes Recovery to anyone who is looking to change their life. 80 days sober today! 🎉 I have been at Breathe since May 5th, 2025 and this has been a life changing experience. I will grieve this experience when I leave at the of this month. I discharge on the 25th and I feel I’ve been equipped with all the tools needed to stay sober. The staff are empathetic, compassionate and well educated on addiction recovery. At the time in my life when I needed a place for healing this name came up immediately! At that time I thought it was too good to be true. I had never been to a treatment center before and did not know what to expect. If that is you, just know that it is real and absolutely amazing! They have someone on staff in particular who is truly an angel. Don’t get me wrong all of the staff are incredible but, this one lady, Juanita practically saved my life. From the initial calls to get me there to being in touch with me at each airport that I had to transfer from, Juanita showed me how much she cared about me. In saying this please keep in mind she did not know me from Adam. She simply knew I was broken and needed help. She will forever be my guardian angel! The facility itself is beautiful. The location is great. The therapy is second to none in my honest opinion. I learned so much about me and what broke me. I wholeheartedly recommend NMW to anyone that needs recovery including mental health and or addiction. They will see YOU the individual. I truly believe in my heart that they are not in it for the money. They are doing what they do to save lives and show us all that there is healing and a bright future ahead of you no matter what has happened in the past.

This treatment center truly changed my life. They not only gave me the tools to overcome my struggles, but also helped me build a community where I no longer felt alone. Through their guidance, I was able to face my shame and trauma and begin to heal. I came to La Fuente for the sober living in early Feb of 2011, directly from a 6 day detox. I didn’t know anything about sobriety or treatment, or even interacting w many people at that point, I stayed for 15 months, & I still have my sober date from Jan of 2011. I was treated kindly & respectfully & was given the space I needed to heal, & the structure I needed to learn how to live a happy & sober life. Kind staff and cool security guard, honestly I love everything about the clinic but the only thing I don't like is the harassment I have to always go threw from Glendale police department because they always decide to just drive by the clinic like 50 times a day and just whoever they see exiting or entering pullover just to search, and one thing that socks about Glendale is the officers don't care about ur rights, u can refuse to be searched or seized and they still will do whatever they feel like, so just keep a lookout if your a person like me that's known by the harassing officers of the police department in glendale!!!!

I work for another treatment facility and had to come here for one of our clients. I used to go to another Methadone clinic so I know what they can be like... this place was great. Nice professionals. They solved a big problem we had and were patient over the phone and in person when we arrived. Being that I work in treatment, I can say these people care and are good at their jobs. It's actually very hard to maintain a high rating in treatment because people are more likely to leave bad reviews. So that makes this place's 4.6 stars (as of this review) very impressive indeed. Kudos to Kimberly who made me coffee while I was in the waiting room and was polite and professional.

This place has INCREDIBLE psychotherapists!! I don't know what that one guy is talking about, this is a therapy center, not a detox... What the heck. I HIGHLY recommend you give this place a shot if you are seeking outpatient therapy. There's no commitment, pay as you receive sessions, and the Dr.'s here are brilliant and understanding, including Dr. Horvath, the FOUNDER of SMART Recovery.
Schedule a session. Try a couple different therapists. You will not be let down. I have had addiction issues for over 10 years and have never made so much progress as I did here.
