I have struggled with alcohol abuse for the last three years and this was the ONE place out of 23 treatment centers that finally worked. Nobody ever thought they would see me sober, but today I can say I am, thanks to Sober Life. I was a frequent relapser, just barely making it by, and when I decided to seek treatment through Sober Life a whole new world opened for me. The team at Sober Life cares. I felt valued, I felt empowered, understood and heard. After being in and out of so many treatment centers I found myself fatigued, but through my process with Sober Life I actually wanted to continue my program as long as I could. I WANTED to be there and I've learned a life I never knew possible thanks to the team there. I can say that this program likely saved my life, and showed me a new life that I could never have imagined. The support and understanding was beyond belief. I felt so safe there. I've made friendships with a lot of my peers from groups as well. Which I never wanted to do before. Recovery can be difficult to begin, scary to start, but Sober Life feels SAFE. I'm not the type to write reviews, but I know how hard I struggled and for anyone reading this or questioning a start, I highly recommend this team. I am eternally grateful for my experience there.

Sober life has been one of the best experiences in my life! I came in not really sure what I wanted out of treatment and scared to really connect with people and have them see me in my weaker moments. All of the staff at sober life loved me through these issues and helped me get to a place where I felt safe and comfortable enough to communicate what was really going on with me, and gave me the tools I needed to be able to deal with things as they came up on a daily basis. Anytime I was a little off or lost any amount of momentum, they noticed immediately and did whatever they could to make sure I continued my progress and that even though addiction is a lonely disease, it became a lot easier to believe I wasnt alone and recovery is possible. It wasn't complicated at all, they handle the insurance stuff for you so you can focus and prioritize your recovery over anything else. Kimberly, Dan, Ashley, and Kelley have all been huge grounding stones in my recovery, showing up every time and helping me make solutions out of chaos. Having all of these amazing, kind, and extremely dependable people in my life has kept me steady and also taught me what having people around who genuinely love you, want the best for you, and who celebrate your achievements and help you through your downfalls looks like. Like any recovery program, you have to want it and put in your own effort, but they make the weight just lighter enough that it seems much more attainable.

I entered the residential unit of the Betty Ford for my opioid addiction after a brief stay in detox, as I had already detoxed at home. I found the accommodations to be nice and adequate, but not luxury, more like a nice dorm with a meeting area and kitchen. We had mostly 2 to a room and a patio area. The oversight was there, but not overbearing. The staff are so nice and caring; from the techs to nursing, the instructors, counselors and even the cafeteria staff. After 3 weeks in residential I moved to PHP, which is a great intensive learning environment. I live nearby so I went home, but many people go to Daisy Lane, which is a nice housing site for sober living. After PHP, there is another step down to IOP, which I intend to go to as well to complete my treatment. The grounds are just beautiful with lush green grass against a backdrop of gorgeous mountains. The cafeteria is great with a variety of fresh foods and daily changing salad bar. I have really enjoyed my stay and experience here and I have been clean and sober for over 60 days now. Betty Ford has saved my life and I never want to go back to drugs and alcohol again.

phoenix rising was an amazing experience and provided me with the upmost level of care, great home cooked meals, the boarding was comfortable, and staff was tentative and knowledgeable. i would recommend to anyone in a time of need

At was at my worst before I came to Phoenix Rising. This program saved my life. The facility is beautiful and the food was amazing. All the groups were great and educational. This place helped me build a healthy routine that I will keep forever without any more cravings. All the counselors and medical staff were selfless and knowledgeable and were there for all my needs. Thank you Josh and Amy and Kathy and Shep and Christy and all the staff. Would highly recommend this place for anyone struggling.

If it wasn't for parent care I would have never been able to get my kids back or be the better person that I am today! They helped me with better parenting skills but I was able to fight my addiction and I have been sober since July 1st 2021. Special shout out to Shawna my counselor and Jessica my therapist. The hospital really works to provide the kind of care someone needs in a mental crisis. Staff are knowledgeable, plenty of activities and therapy to help the patient make progress.

I voluntarily admitted myself here for the Detox program from alcohol. I know that you as a person has to be just tired of it for it to stick. I left here free of alcohol dependency and now 3 years later, happy to have chosen sobriety. Sobriety is hard work but so was being an alcoholic. Thank ya'll so much👏🫶

I’ve been inpatient 3 times and outpatient for months in both 2023 and 2025. I was a part of the ED program in early 2025 and it felt like a very safe and tight knit group. I appreciate the high level of support I was getting.

I went through this program 10 years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I still miss it there, God is in this place.

I like to thank Pacific Bay recovery for helping my husband and treating him like family. The staff helped him every step of the way, we have tried several rehabilitation centers and none of them worked. My Husband has been through a lot was addicted to everything was a very agitated man and I am so thankful to have my husband back and it’s all because of this program. He stayed in the copper house for two months and he loved it so much. It was hard to bring him home. He chose his recovery center And he was there because he wanted to be there not because he wanted to be Not because he had to be there. He was not the easiest patient in the beginning, but he stuck it out because Made him feel comfortable as they treated him like family. His big guy there since January 5. My father has been attending this recovery place. Watching someone you love struggle is one of the most painful experiences life can offer. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. This place has treated him greatly and I'll be forever grateful for what they have done. Since entering the program a few months ago, he has begun the hard work of healing.
