I haven’t used the VA much since I had great private company insurance. Late last year my wife and I went into the VA Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona. The staff apologized for the wait time, they were kind and friendly. I don’t remember the Nurse’s or Doctor’s names but they were great. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice in support of us Veterans!

Where do I start... Came to "rehab/treatment" due to a open court case. The Lord Jesus Christ has used this treatment center as a means to free me from my slavery of alcohol. I have been attending True Recovery as a client for 14 months, consecutively. The staff here connect to clients on a personal and friendly level. I have become close with many staff members and not once, do they belittle or overstep boundaries, but approach individuals on a empathetic level. Jade, I've met a wonderful friend. Michael, you are so kind. Matt, you are so knowledgeable as an instructor. Brandi, since day one you were so sweet. Forgive me if I have not mentioned you by name...

I desperately needed to get sober & doing it on my own wasn’t working. I had no idea what to expect from this place. From my very first phone call, to the day I was discharged, the staff, nurses, techs & counselors were absolutely amazing & incredibly friendly & compassionate. The women I met and lived with at Fisher Hall surrounded me with nothing but love and support & for the first time, I didn’t feel alone in my disease. The property was beautiful, the food was good & I loved cruising the book store. The psychiatrist, Young, however, was the only disappointing part of my 28 day stay. His comment, “…in 20 years, if you live that long,” was hurtful, especially for someone so vulnerable & new to rehab and sobriety. He also made other upsetting comments to other women in my hall, but that is not my story to tell. Other than that, my stay was amazing & it gave me the tools I desperately needed. Overall I had an excellent experience at BF - the only negative comment I could make was the atmosphere in detox- I found the the environment to be dark and depressing, the rooms smelly and a rare and occasion condescending staff member - the minute I walked into DuPont Hall everything changed- I was fortunate to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive and communicative group of patients - I felt very fortunate to have been assigned Bryan Wilmoth as my counselor- he is exceptional at what he does - the small group gatherings were the highlight of my time here at BF - Bryan provides a safe environment that allows people to open up and express themselves in a non judgmental way - he provides levity when necessary and the written exercises were enlighten and productive- I can’t say enough good things about Bryan - last thing - the food was inconsistent and could certainly be better in my opinion - thx for the opportunity to review my experience at the BFC

My husband Pat Lewellen also went through the program and he stayed on in charge of the kitchen. I now live in Arizona. My son who got Baptist at Calvery Ranch when he was young as well as all of us. He needs help. He is 35 and addicted to meth. I am not sure if he will accept it at this time. Years ago when my boyfriend and I arrived at "The Ranch", we were broken, lost, and without hope. The people of Calvary Ranch (staff and church members) shared the love of Christ with us; they loved us, helped, and mentored us. They shared the Word of God with us and taught us the importance of forgiveness, especially forgiving ourselves. We have been sober for over 25 years and just celebrated 20 years of marriage. No one wants to go the ER but here I was 2 Fridays ago. It was busy as expected and I realistically knew it would be a long night but the ER doctor lined up all the tests so I could be seen as soon as possible. Very efficient and thorough.

I had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere for a restful night. The manager was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Do not put your full faith in this program. They will throw you out for not having a sponsor. I understand a sponsor is supposed to help you with the 12 steps. But, to throw someone out for not having a sponsor is backwards. I thought you throw people out if they relapse. But, even when they relapse. You supposed to help them get back in inpatient. Witch some people they do help. An, these are the one's they have favoritism for. Funny how you can be sober. An, get throw out for not having a sponsor. Are they what to put a curfew on you for not having a sponsor. Curfew is 10:00pm. An, if you don't have no sponsor. They try to make your curfew 8:00pm. The start time to leave the house is from 6AM to 10PM. Every time I look up. It's some drama with the staff. Are some drama at the RBH housing. There are only a few staff members that are cool. But, most of them want to play mind games with the patience.
