I haven’t used the VA much since I had great private company insurance. Late last year my wife and I went into the VA Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona. The staff apologized for the wait time, they were kind and friendly. I don’t remember the Nurse’s or Doctor’s names but they were great. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice in support of us Veterans!

I have not physically been there, but my bestie was brought in for being abused by her mother, (mental abuse) she was at the brink of calling quits. Plus she was sick, like covid sick, and her mother would not let up on her, so they have taken her in, given her a peaceful place to get it together and rest. They are helping her to find the next steps to take, as far as shelter. I am so very grateful for places like this that give hope to those who have bo hope! Judging by her experience so far, I have nothing bad to say and neither does she. My prayer now is they help her find a peaceful stable place to call home and not EVER have to return to her mother's home or under her abusive ways! Thank you Horizon and all you do

I wouldn't say I LOVE this place, but out of the many doctors offices ive been in, this one is on the better end. I love my doctors, and ad long as your on time, which means a MINIMUM of 15 minutes early, you won't have issues. Unless you need to reach them by phone. Then you will be on hold for 20ish minutes. The staff is great, but I recommend not making friends in the lobby, for your own best interests.

This place has saved me and my husband for months. With food showers clothing. Though we're not in the mission we are considered guests. The food is great and lots of it. Just know if you come here they will watch your every move. Rightly so. They also let us charge our phones and scooter. They truly have a great detox and faith based recovery center here. If you're struggling with substance issues and want help you Will get it here. But you don't have to be in the recovery part they will g give you food clothes and the help you need no matter what the issue is. Can't say enough good shit then.

I attend this facility for group therapy, case management, and other therapy supports. Especially after coming from the Phoenix area, I am so refreshed and surprised by the level of service that I receive. My case manager is amazing and if they don't hear from me, they always checkin. The group therapy is also very good, especially to have a group of people to talk openly about issues. The people here help keep me stable and I know that I can go in or call anytime.

This place is simply just the best mental health facility known to me. The way they diagnose and watch over your needs is inestimable. The facility has always been an eye opener which has always been pleasant and positive. They have gone above and beyond at every opportunity available to them. I don t understand the negative reviews at all, but it is what it is, I hope this review helps get a better score because I don t have words to describe everything that CHA has meant to my family and myself. My wife (Ann A.) attended this program last year from Virginia and since her return she wants to be controlling, it's as if she lost one habit and picked up another one. It's so bad now our divorce is forthcoming. I tried to reach out to SCBH and no response. I'm glad she stopped drinking but everything else is in turmoil. Remember everyone that attends these programs are not single and self care is not just about self especially when they have a HUSBAND and child. You lead them to think it's all about self and total disregard for their spouse and kids, which is also needed for her continued support. Thanks for the help in my divorce. Spoke on the phone the other day trying to reach her counselor and the guy who answered didn't give me a chance to talk. Sometimes you gotta listen. Same thing I keep trying to tell my wife. Unfortunately, I will never recommend your services.

Cheryl, goes by Sherry, is absolutely HORRIBLE. I saw her three times and each time she refused to give me my medications that I’ve been taking for years. I’m switching back to my old place after spending months trying to get my medication from her. She treated me like I was a drug addict and acted like I’m stupid. I am a 22 year old nursing student who has been having panic attacks since I was 10 years old. My panic attacks have been so severe that I’ve had to go to the hospital to get shots of ativan that would STILL take 30 minutes to get me to calm down because my panic attacks were so bad. I have SEVERE anxiety and the only thing that stopped these hospital trips was when I was prescribed xanax a few years ago. I only take about one or two a month. Sometimes I even go months at a time without taking any at all. Very clearly not an addict. She wouldn’t even give me my ADHD meds, concerta. She built absolutely no trust with me and I have never felt so insecure or uncomfortable with a health care professional in my life. Absolutely horrible woman who lacks any empathy. She should not be in the health care field. I left every appointment with her crying because I felt so embarrassed. DONT GO HERE! Go to Polara Health where they will treat you like a human.
