Councelors are truly
Amazing and caring. The anonymous people in the group are extremely open and helpful and make u feel like Ur welcome and belong and nonjudgmental opinions and great advice. Paul and Muriam to me are the most understanding and patient councelors ive ever encountered aside from Peter and Jules from Goast Coast Counceling. Paul- Peter says hi!!! PS my oldest friend Sadie is in my woman’s group on Tuesday’s- I thought I’d never see her again. She went to my 15 birthday and was my only friend freshman and some of sophomore year. She’s going to get through all this and be the best mom wife and friend anyone could ask for:)

The program is amazing and so thoughtfully put together. The Lighthouse Treatment Center completely changed my life. The program itself is amazing, but what really makes it special are the people. It had been a few years since my last treatment center stay as I had completely distanced myself from anything recovery related.
I went down a real dark self isolated path of self-will run riot as I tried every which way to do it own my own self will and after being in 37 treatments prior to coming to California Wellness Center I felt as if I was a lost cause. After 12 long years of suffering and digging so deep, I couldn't even find an ounce of happiness to celebrate my own 31st birthday on March 12th of this year and after spending the entire month up untill my birthday completelt isolated alone in my APT in Phoenix,AZ I became very suicidal and started strongly considering taking my own life and just ending it all I had no desire to continue down the life I was living and somewhere in that moment of desperation on March 13th at 3AM I spend the next few hours crying out to my "Higher Power "God" to give me the strength to ask for help and he did I reached out to the "Owner Will" and finally dropped the ego I had held onto for all the years of my addiction and asked for help and that very night he had me on a call with a lady named "Keelen" Admissions might not be pronouncing that correctly and I barely remember the phone call I was completely out out of my mind but they were still willing to give me a shot and she helped me all the way through to getting to the airport to me completely blacked out at the airport missing my first flight to getting me on the next flight after out and constantly calling checking in to make sure I made it there safely as well retrieving all my luggage which I had lost during that process. Upon arrival, there I was picked up by "Liam," who made sure I got to the center safely and was there every day checking in, making sure I was OK! this is an individualized treatment program, and it was exactly what I needed to finally start unraveling the many years of pain and suffering addiction had caused. From all the staff "Matt" the therapist who was there 5 days a week, helped me finally dive into a lot of the many different issues I struggled with to face them head on he didn't push but when it came time he was there when I was ready to finally let go and let others guide me and I'll be forever thankfull for that, the Nurses "Mary" and "Stephanie" were the absolute best of the best and helped on many of the rough days I had to face while there to!! And the case manager "Jason" as well the techs from "Eddy" Kelsy" "Casey" "Jack" were the best as well and all played a big role for me still being alive and well today!! If you're thinking you don't deserve this, you do we all do, and this center and all the staff helped me realize my true value, love, and purpose for myself again and helped pull me from the very deep grave I had been digging for so long and finally accepting that I am truly powerless over my addiction but there is a way out if I am willing to drop my pride and ego and accept the help others offer so with that I'll be forever gratefull to all of you im still alive because of the part each of yall played during my stay there I finally feel like this life of sobriety is not just possible but worth more than any day of the pain a suffering caused by addiction so give yourself a chance your worth it and this place will help you get to that place.

If you go to any Aegis clinic, just know it’s not only about getting clean — they also require you to talk about your personal issues. I came here simply to get clean, not to be pushed into long conversations.
They make you do 50-minute sessions either in person or over the phone. If you don’t complete those sessions, they take away your take-homes, even if you have been clean. I don’t think it’s right that missing a session can affect your progress like that, especially when you’re doing everything else correctly.
Overall, the clinic is alright and does help, but I don’t like how they force you to do things you might not be comfortable with like reliving and taking about the past and these 50 minute sessions that don’t help me at all

I would like to thank all of the Wonder staff at Aegis Pasadena, they have helped me in so many ways!
First off I would like to thank Susan (hopefully spelling her name correctly) who was the main manager, there when I got there 10 years ago
- because if it literally wasn't for her, I would possibly still be out in the streets or worse.
idk if she knows this but she literally changed my life that day.
I came at a bad time that day of intake and I wouldn't have been able to dose then because of me coming so late from taking 3 buses to get there, So I was basically going to "check out" and go back to the streets to my addiction and possibly never come back again after I realized I wasn't going to be able to dose then.
To make a long story short - I was able to go to the El Monte Clinic that day and dose there and come back to the Pasadena clinic
So I'm forever thankful to Susan for that day!also for all the chances you gave me! Thank you Susan once again 🙏 🙏 🙏
For all your help in my journey!
I also want to thank Neelam, for bringing light and smiles to Aegis, especially when places like these can get "dark" at times because of where us patients are coming from. So thank you Neelam!!! 🙏
Thank you to all my counselors Jessica & Nadia and the rest I've had there - thank you as well!
Because of you guys I actually like counseling now lol unlike other places outside of there that I didn't like lol. So You guys made me feel comfortable and actually listened and helped me in so many ways thanks you!
Jabari the manager there - thank you man!
I wanted to say that (Jabari) didn't make me feel like just another "number" there. He TRULY cares and has tons of wisdom, and is compassionate as well, he truly wants the best for us as they all do there!
I've been to other clinics and let me tell you guys that this is by far the BEST one I've been too! I highly recommend it if you know or have anyone that's out there!! I will forever recommend this place to the people that want to get clean and change their life around, this is the place! Give them a call!
Wish you guys all a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year! 🙏 💪 Thank you guys!

If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired like I was, and you’re ready and willing to reach out for help, please do. SCRC is an amazing recovery center ready to help you just like they helped me. Not only is it near the beach, where I had many long walks as I began my journey in sobriety, but everything they do is geared towards meeting you where you’re at and walking along side you. The staff is amazing, many of whom are on their own journey in sobriety, with the sincere desire to give back to those yearning for healing, change, and purpose. The sober houses are just what I needed and gave me the time and safe space to begin to change. Along with specific group time and counseling provided by the center, they encourage 12 step meetings, getting a sponsor and working the steps. It is through working the steps where I truly found the healing and change necessary to live sober and free. SCRC supported me all along the way providing the space and resources to entirety focus on my own walk in early sobriety. Today I have a life I always wanted but could never have with the chains of my addiction. If you think there is no hope like I did, I hope my experience will give you the hope you can get free too. When I was a teenager in 2012, I was sent here for a suicide attempt. I now work in a Psychiatric hospital as a clinical social worker. Hoping to help kids like me. Thanks for inspiring me to have hope for the future. Pretty nice facility, back then at least
That being said, I came to staff with a concern that my roommate would hurt me after being threatened. They marked me down as having psychotic features which I did not have instead of considering the reality. I even had a witness. They also provide dual diagnosis treatment. Their levels of care include detoxification, inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and traditional outpatient treatment. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Simon saved my life. I have been sober ever since I left this place. From the owners to the techs everyone was involved with my care and made me feel like I was at home and getting care from loved ones. I was a rebel I was rude I felt like I was entitled to everything. This place gave me the support I needed and guided me. I eventually gave up on doing it my way. I started to listen and my life has transpired. I owe so much to this place. I don’t think a review with five stars is the least I can do. Thank you so much guys. The journey doesn’t end when you leave here it starts. I can still reach out and ask questions and to know I have that support from the staff at ocean ridge has gone a long way for me. Only thing I suggest is this place will make sure you are so comfortable in probably the worst time in your life. Only thing they ask for is to take the suggestions that are given to you. Trust me they know what they are talking about. All of them are in recovery. Come here with an open mindset and an open heart they will take care of the rest.

PPR was quite the experience, unfortunately the facility closed and I was not able to complete my program. In my own opinion they were a solid team that played an important role in my recovery process.
My counsler Wendy was a great guide , my therapist Ivanna was a professional and helped me with self discovery and the program director Justin was impeccable at managing the program .
Thank PPR and all it's members for helping me in my recovery journey.

This place changed my life and help provide me with opportunities I never thought possible. They have a professional staff that understands the struggles I thought only unique to me. For the first time in my life I did not feel completely alone. They set me up for success when I was there and gave me a plan to follow when I left. That was 6 years ago and I am still sober, still of service, have a successful career and family that has healed. Everything I can wish for anybody struggling with dependency.

Beach City is an unmatched detox experience. The staff, environment and attention to recovery overall, not just detox, makes it the perfect place to begin the journey of recovery. The team there applies a personal yet professional touch of understanding that makes you feel whole again. When you come to detox, you're broken, lost, confused and lacking spiritual health. Slowly, the team heals you to the point where you're ready to make the next step in recovery. They talk to you about what you need, want and above all how to achieve sobriety and spiritual health. I'd recommend anyone struggling go there to not only detox, but to begin the journey of recovery overall.

The building has more than one office to help mentally affected persons. Upstairs is the entry point and Dr. Kalika is amazing. He really listens and really cares. Downstairs is the PACT team which you may qualify for if you've had more than two 51/50s in the last year. This is a more intense therapy schedule and higher monitoring to keep you out of the hospital and jail. Jeuen is a wonderful counselor and uses EMDR to help deal with trauma, which is a highly effective therapy. Dr. Cheung is kind and compassionate and does more than just write scripts.
Overall, my experience at this particular OCHA has been much better than the Westminster location years ago. I feel cared for, listened to and like the therapy is actually making a difference in my life.

On November 9, 2025 at 6am I went to SGVMC Emergency Room with severe abdominal pain. There was no waiting and I was taken immediately. The ENTIRE staff were caring and attended to my every need. During my stay one particular nurse was exceptional SONG LAM. He had a happy disposition, empathetic and frequently came into my room to make sure I was comfortable. This made me feel encouraged over my condition. After running many tests, I was given IV antibiotics and discharged quickly within 4 hours. I went home feeling happy and positive over such a good experience. SGVMC is an exceptional hospital. I always choose to go here over any other hospitals in the area. The entire staff works well with each other and you can tell they like working with each other. This is very important to me because I feel WELL taken care of! Thank you for an excellent experience!

Hi, my name is Evan and here is my review of First Light Recovery. Firstly, let me start off by saying, I’ve been to a few mental care houses; and honestly this place is professional and caring towards clients and they maintain a good policy. Staff at First Light meet patient needs and excellent expectations for a good and safe environment. Clients are also good. If you decide that you need a break and just want to work on your mental health and persona, this place, if it’s in your area or not, they do travel somewhat far in order to bring you to a place of recovery; It is a good choice and you won’t regret coming. It is a welcoming experience and a good service to people and the community. They do accommodate for you in many ways so you won’t get bored or feel trapped. In many words, short, this place is pretty cool.
Sincerely to the staff, and the clients I stayed with, at this fine facility, thank you.
Evan, to First Light Recovery, thank you.

My son has recently started his treatment at this center in California for mental health and addiction. It hasn’t been long yet, so I can’t speak to the long-term results, but I can already say that my experience with the staff—especially the woman who communicates with me—has been very positive. She takes everything to heart and shows a high level of responsibility and care.
I truly hope that when my son completes his program, he will be better prepared to take care of himself, make mature choices, and live independently. From what I’ve seen so far, I feel optimistic that this center will help him grow in that direction.
