I like this place fast and very convenient to where I live. Nice people they take good care my 3 children. I'm glad I found this place Dentist's are nice ,friendly they know how to handle kids ,staff friendly and they also make sure my kids are feel comfortable! Lovely people...

This place is amazing. I went for behavioral health and every part of the experience, from the front desk offering coffee, to the intake coordinator, to the therapist that helped me during one of the lowest times of my life, was beyond anything I would have ever expected from a non-profit for low income folks. I am so grateful for the care I received here.

So, I just left Palm treatment/detox center and wanted to leave a review while it’s fresh in my mind. To begin, when I was first getting checked in, a girl was on her way out literally crying with gratitude for how much this place saved her life. You could tell how genuine and appreciative she was. Super heart warming, so that was a good start. Pros to going to Palm Ave: -The staff is great, they genuinely care and all are in recovery themselves so they’re very empathetic. -It’s small, so if you’re someone who is anxious or nervous, don’t be. If I had to guess I’d say they can only hold up to about 15-20 at most and that’s a huge positive when you’re not at your best at don’t want to be around a hundred other people. -Food was very clean, healthy, and always available. -Meds are all taken care of for you, they’ll even pick up your prescriptions and make sure you get them on time, even if you’re asleep, they’re on top of it. -There’s really only one mandatory meeting (NA/AA) but several groups which are optional that I found really helpful and well led. -They don’t press you on where or when you need to be somewhere like other treatment centers do. If you need to sleep- you can sleep. Special shout out to Christian (who helped with meds, he always has good music playing and just a very positive vibe). Also, Tree. I spent ten minutes talking to this man and gained more perspective than I have in probably the last three years. Heather also, very chill and easy to talk to. These people really care. They’ve completely turned their lives around and some have come from really difficult pasts. It’s inspiring to hear their stories. Not to turn this into a novel but I’m just really stoked places like this exist- and free no less with medi-cal. To finish, if you’re struggling at all, just go for a few days. I only stayed a few days bc I had previously detoxed in a hospital but some stay much longer- the choice is yours. Thank you to everyone at Palm Ave. I won’t forget it.

Place is amazing!..Staff is amazing and they take the time to make sure that your doing okay. Not just a cursory.." Good Morning" or " Good Night" They actually take an interest in why your there and what they can do to make your stay as successful as possible. Classes are set up and offered throughout the day to ensure that you have some tools when you leave. There is medical on sight and a caseworker who jumps through hoops to make sure that each client has access to all the available resources in the county. They have a business model that is golden and should be mirrored by similiar businesses.

I have had an excellent experience at Palm Detox. They reopened and came recommended by members of the community. I was hesitant at first but I showed up embarrassed and defeated. was treated with respect and staff went out of the way to help me. Female lead staff even brought me clothing, books and hygiene from her home because I was in need of deodorant and the stuffuu they had didn’t work. I didn’t ask, she overheard me and another client talking. She brought him some clothing and a notebook. This place has amazing staff. They tend to follow the rules and it’s annoying sometimes cause I’d like to smoke more and have SUGAR. But I do recommend plus they help u find treatment after.

CityTeam Oakland SAVED MY LIFE. They took me in and loved me until I learned to love myself. They taught me how to live without drugs and alcohol. This Clinic is helpful for the most part and the counselors do their best to accommodate you. Chris the security guard is a cool guy very friendly and I love his dog bumbles. Also Vanessa is the best & most pretty nurse there.

This program really helped me get my life together and the staff and nurses are extremely helpful and friendly.

Nurse practitioner is unprofessional.l think he needs to go back to school and learn how to treat his clients with some professionally.

This is Mr Magic...this very important opportunity for anyone to change and become a better person... their is nothing bad about any of the services...this place have saved my life, I owe everything to all who gave mey opportunity to get well, gain control,live healthy, this is only if you let the process happen. I'm now in aftercare services, outpatient... My experience is it's the best I have ever experienced iny whole 45 years of active addiction and mental health substance abuse ... The people are fantastic,caring,loving and will with out prejudice or discrimination will offer you the best care and support... Just like me you have to want it. For now I love what I'm doing good, healing, i can see a future of successful positive living. Thank you, Mr.Magic.

Helps you get clean and sober if you really want it. I was there for 2 years in 2004 after serving 1 year in San Mateo County, Redwood city. I also did program called Choices in the county which is run by Delancey Street.

If you come to OTC “Oakland Teen Challenge” men’s center, expect your life to be renewed. You must surrender all your bad habits and behaviors to God. This place is a miracle, not only for the community but also for the men who are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be accepted in the program. As a student you are expected to give back to the community and others. If you can complete the process, you will get your family, life, job and most importantly relationship with GOD back on track. After all, isn’t that the most important relationship one could ever have? Thank GOD for OTC and a new life. If your struggling, give it a shot. What do you have to lose?

I love this place I went in on Dec 10, 2003, i was demanded by courts to go but once i was released from Santa Rita I knew this is what i needed was to check into a rehab, at first i didnt want to go but i made a choice to do so I graduated on my birthday June 9, 2004 I last 6 months without any consciences Yay I did that! If you are looking to quit your addiction this is the place to be, hope house helped me live again, im 18 years clean and sober from meth! I havent been back for awhile on Wed nites I need to visit soon!

A very quiet and friendly environment for the patients and staff. Hope everybody is doing well.

In 2014 to 2015 I spent 3 plus months at this wonderful hospital recovering from a broken back, broken ankles etc. The staff cared. The doctors gave all the attention I needed. The nurses and nurse aids helped me with everything. I couldn’t go to the bathroom since both ankles had been broken. They took care of me. They have a wonderful pool that I used for physical therapy and occupational therapy. The farm has goats and I was able to visit it on a wheel chair and later on a walker to get around. The staff was from all over the world Indians, Americans, Chinese. It was as diverse of staff as the wonderful city of San Francisco. A true reflection of our great city diversity. I am forever grateful to each of them and this amazing institution.

I was a client and at Cronin House . A alumni that came back to the program in hopes to find the same love as before…. But on camera this employee supposed to be a role model for us to be like…. Got up and came in my face threatened me and I got kicked out… where they do that at …. Cronin House. And Everyone else there I have no problem with and respect to the fullest. But this ain’t right this person needs to reprimanded and not work there as staff the respectful way to communicate is to threatened a client on camera and still work there

I contacted this organization’s HR department to report a concern involving an employee with whom I had a prior professional and personal connection. I was informed my report would be taken seriously. I sent a follow-up email a few weeks later, but I received no response. I left a voicemail with their Hayward location thinking maybe my email had been overlooked. My call was returned, but during this call, I was informed that additional follow-ups could be interpreted as harassment and might result in legal action. It all felt very dismissive. While I understand organizations have procedures, the limited communication and caution I received about follow-ups left me concerned. I had expected more professionalism from HR. After posting a review for the Mission Street location as that was the location in dicussion, I later received a cease-and-desist letter by email. I had hoped for a more compassionate and professional outcome when sharing that I had experienced emotionally harmful behavior from one of their associates during a past relationship. Going through this made me understand why some people might hesitate to speak up about their experiences.

I've been going there since I was 17. All of the staff there has helped me a lot. Dr. Mansoor has been with me since I was 14 and is still the best psychiatrist that I've ever had. The staff is very caring. They have groups daily that are very fun filled and easy to enjoy! They also have snacks for whenever you are hungry. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is in need of mental health services and Is from 18-25 years of age.

This clinic is definitely the best methadone clinic Ive been to so far. They actually treat you with respect and can basically help you with anything you ask/want/need Everyone is super kind And bonus! They pay you in gift cards as long as you go basically every day

Much better place since they got rid of that old doc. The new new doc is kind knowledgeable and easy to talk to. And my counselor here has became like family to me. I have ups and downs but this place has given me a life back.
