Auburn, CA | Restoration Recovery Center is located on College Way in Auburn, California. They offer both residential and outpatient addiction care. Clients in the residential program can stay in a comfortable, home-like setting that’s nestled in a densely populated residential and business community. They are also close to many parks and natural settings i | Treatments Payment Options | I was here for a 30 day residential stay. I was very hesitant at first and did not want to be there but I will say that at the end, I cried when I left. The staff was amazing & every one of them were kind. For anyone ready to start the next chapter of their life, Restoration Recovery is an amazing place to begin. I’ll be honest I was really hesitant about going to a recovery center at all. I didn’t know what to expect, and I was nervous about the idea of being vulnerable in front of strangers. But within just a couple of days, I realized that coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my life, my health, and my mental stability.
The facility itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained you can feel the calm the moment you walk in. But what really makes this place special is the staff. They truly care. They take the time to get to know you to listen without judgment and to support you wherever you’re at in your recovery journey. You’re not just another client here you’re treated like a human being with a story and potential.
The program at RRC helped me shift my mindset gave me tools to manage stress and triggers and allowed me to begin healing emotionally, physically and mentally. I came in with a lot of doubt, fear and pain but I left feeling stronger, clearer and more hopeful than I had in years.
I was only able to stay for 30 days but I truly wish I could have done more. If you’re considering taking that first step. I can’t recommend RRC enough. It’s a place where real change begins that’s if you’re willing to show up. They’ll meet you with compassion and support every step of the way.

I approached this service with some uncertainty, not knowing exactly what to expect. However, my counselor, Paul, turned out to be incredible. He provided immense support during a challenging period in my life, offering guidance and clarity when I was feeling lost. His flexibility in scheduling sessions was particularly appreciated, as it demonstrated his commitment to accommodating my needs.
Moreover, Paul’s kindness wasn’t just limited to me. He consistently showed compassion and understanding towards everyone in our classes, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This positive atmosphere was further enhanced by Christine, the friendly face at the front desk. Her cheerful demeanor, so evident even through phone conversations, never failed to brighten my day.
I am truly grateful for the exceptional service I received. The team’s professionalism, coupled with their genuine care, made a significant difference in my life. Thank you for going above and beyond in providing not just a service, but a truly supportive experience.

I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for New Dawn. They truly helped save my life. Thanks to this amazing treatment center, I’ve been in recovery for over three years now.
This location is absolutely beautiful and feels luxurious! I was a client at the Fair Oaks location, but at the time the Loomis location (this location) was co-ed, and we often got to come here for group sessions, acupuncture, nutrition classes, and even to swim in their beautiful pool. The staff was always extremely welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable. You could feel that they genuinely cared about us clients, our long-term recovery, and our experience while we were under their care, no matter which site we were at.
The combination of individual therapy and counseling, group sessions, and experiential activities creates an environment where real change is possible while also allowing clients to enjoy the comfort and luxury of the facility, which makes being away from home a little easier. I would 100% recommend New Dawn to anyone who wants to grow, heal, and rebuild their life.

I have been attending this clinic for many years now and I have had rough times....not only do they always treat everyone with respect and care regardless of who they are or what they look like or smell like 👍 honestly because I can say from experience I've been in line next to some ripe smelling stuff...I think it's from the carpet because that's the only thing I would change. I didn't know what to expect when I came here and was very worried I wouldn't like it. After the first day I couldn't believe how helpful and friendly the staff were. I I very quickly realized I was going to learn a lot and meet some great people and that is exactly how it has played out. The counselors are absolutely amazing and I have learned more about addiction, behavioral therapy, anger management, the science of cravings and the science of addiction than I could have ever imagined. I thought I knew a lot because Ive been to a bunch of AA meetings. Boy was I wrong. The counselors have been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. They have personal experience and are very easy to relate to. The food is fantastic, the other clients in the house have become great friends, and I feel like these last 30 days has completely changed me into the person I was before I came here and has given me the tools to continue to live a healthy life after I leave. I feel like I got my life back. I love that they take us to the gym and keep us busy all day with groups and physical activity, serve us healthy delicious food, and took us to an Alpaca Farm which was sooooo much fun! Yoga Kelly, the massages, and the acupuncture were very helpful. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone that is considering rehab. I didn't want to come here 30 days ago and now I don't want to leave! Do yourself a favor, even though it may feel like "I can't go to rehab now, I have too much going on!" You can and your life and your relationships with your family and friends will be so much better if you do. The owner and the staff truly care which is not something you see in every rehab.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.
The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.
The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.
There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.
I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn’t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She’s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen!
Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. It provided support, tools, and encouragement.
I wish every city had a great place like this for teens and young adults to heal and find happiness! If you are looking for a place to help your kid (and you) through the challenge of addiction this is it!

This facility is the perfect amount of structure, recovery and hope if you are truly ready for change. As a repeat offender.. I have been to GWC residential multiple times but under this new management and program, this is the time that I truly got what I needed to stay clean and have healthy coping and life skills. My personal experience at Hope House was truly life-changing. You get out what you put into it, period. It definitely requires a lot of self-motivated internal work, and yes, there are a lot of rules—but those rules are there for a reason. Those rules personally helped me gain more self-discipline and self-restraint which is such an important part of recovery. Nothing and no rehab in this world is perfect, but the support I received from the staff and the amazing women there truly helped guide me to a better life. Granite Bay, CA | Center for Discovery Granite Bay, located in Granite Bay, California, provides treatment to women ages 16 to 26 whose primary diagnosis is an eating disorder. They are located in a calming, rural location that allows for relaxation and a focus on recovery. Center for Discovery is an eating disorder treatment organization. The organization has multi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was at CFD twice; first in 2019 and again in 2020 during Covid. Treatment isn’t fun. It’s hard. You’re forced to step outside of your comfort zone. My first time at cfd I didn’t want to be there at all (honestly was just there to get medically cleared so I could go back to school) but it took going back a year later and spending 7 weeks there for me to realize and appreciate how much I needed treatment at the time. I would just say to anyone planning on coming here: have an open mind. Every person stepping through the doors of residential is suffering. And I understand you if you’re afraid of letting go of your ED. It’s valid. It is scary. But it’s also incredibly fulfilling to be freed from disordered eating. It is a beautiful process: learning to love yourself. It’s not easy. There was a lot of tears. But you’re surrounded by peers who understand exactly what you’re going through and the group therapy sessions help a lot. If your family cares enough to support you in your recovery please show gratitude because not everyone has a family there to cheer them on or come visit them while they’re struggling. Cherish your loved ones and be grateful for life everyday. Food isn’t the enemy. Food nourishes the soul and body and you deserve to be happy! Also it’s nice to cheer each other on in treatment. I know EDs can be competitive and even if you don’t mean to you might subconsciously end up comparing yourself to the other patients (idk maybe not but I did) but realize that you are both there for the purpose of healing and recovering and comparing yourself to another sick individual isn’t getting anyone anywhere. Instead focus on yourself and tell ur peers ur proud of them if u notice they struggled but got through a meal. It’s important to be there for each other. I’m reallyyyyy shy but to this day I’m still in touch with some of the other girls I met at cfd. It’s great. Also.. JOURNAL! journal everything. Every emotion. Every outburst. It’s healing. If you’re spiritually inclined, right now is the perfect time to get close to your higher power. You won’t have your phone for the most part so reading the Bible, praying, etc…. Now is the time to do that haha god is great. Especially when you think no one else is there for you. Nobody forces religion or spirituality on you here it’s not like the 12 steps in AA/NA but I’m just saying getting closer to god is such a bonus and will aid you tremendously in your recovery process if you seek him out. Good luck to everyone in their recovery journey!! You got this! Can’t really speak for their current staff but I had great support from the therapists and nurses (especially) at the time when I was there. Hopefully it’s the same or better now!

Tbh I hated this place with my whole soul when I came there. I’m a peaceful person and I was arguing with staff. But it changed my life. Like hallelujah god sent me there to have the best therapist who was so patient with my argumentative self. Literally if you actually learn and apply it to your life it changes everything. Like I used to dread every meal but now I can enjoy food again and it’s wonderful. (Eating isn’t the problem. It’s all ego. It’s how your brain survives in or after trauma) But omg was it the hardest therapy program in my whole life. 10/10 would do it again

"Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to give a big shout out to the amazing folks at the county health department. (NANCY) Recently, I had to swing by and have a chat with the lovely Nancy regarding my health insurance situation. Let me tell you, she is an absolute gem! Nancy's kindness and helpfulness truly made my day. Her outstanding customer service skills were a breath of fresh air, especially during this long and stressful ordeal. She was so eager to resolve the issue for me, and I can't express how much I appreciated it. The best part? There was hardly any wait time at all! From the bottom of my heart, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your incredible kindness. You guys rock!"
