I was here for a 30 day residential stay. I was very hesitant at first and did not want to be there but I will say that at the end, I cried when I left. The staff was amazing & every one of them were kind. If we needed accommodations they did their best to work it out for us. The people I encountered there were amazing and it really did feel like a family. I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t trade the people I met for anything.

For anyone ready to start the next chapter of their life, Restoration Recovery is an amazing place to begin. I’ll be honest I was really hesitant about going to a recovery center at all. I didn’t know what to expect, and I was nervous about the idea of being vulnerable in front of strangers. But within just a couple of days, I realized that coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my life, my health, and my mental stability.
The facility itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained you can feel the calm the moment you walk in. But what really makes this place special is the staff. They truly care. They take the time to get to know you to listen without judgment and to support you wherever you’re at in your recovery journey. You’re not just another client here you’re treated like a human being with a story and potential.
The program at RRC helped me shift my mindset gave me tools to manage stress and triggers and allowed me to begin healing emotionally, physically and mentally. I came in with a lot of doubt, fear and pain but I left feeling stronger, clearer and more hopeful than I had in years.
I was only able to stay for 30 days but I truly wish I could have done more. If you’re considering taking that first step. I can’t recommend RRC enough. It’s a place where real change begins that’s if you’re willing to show up. They’ll meet you with compassion and support every step of the way.

I approached this service with some uncertainty, not knowing exactly what to expect. However, my counselor, Paul, turned out to be incredible. He provided immense support during a challenging period in my life, offering guidance and clarity when I was feeling lost. His flexibility in scheduling sessions was particularly appreciated, as it demonstrated his commitment to accommodating my needs.
Moreover, Paul’s kindness wasn’t just limited to me. He consistently showed compassion and understanding towards everyone in our classes, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This positive atmosphere was further enhanced by Christine, the friendly face at the front desk. Her cheerful demeanor, so evident even through phone conversations, never failed to brighten my day.

Amazing program with a lot of really amazing staff members who are extremely caring and understanding I took advantage of the anger management classes as well as parenting classes my favorite and most helpful education course they provided when I was a resident that I use in my daily life was the communication a d boundaries class, it helps me build stronger healthier relationships and put and end to any toxic one that would potentially be hazardous to my recovery, I showed up there with nothing. Within 8 months of successfully completing the program without deviating I was able to clear up my out standing court cases, got my license back! a steady job! A vehicle! My teeth fixed! They took my to my dental appointments. I now have a beautiful smile and my confidence back as well as my self respect and able to get past my barriers and start accomplishing my goals, and building my relationships I ruined and repairing the bridges I burned.

This place does not have employees; it has angels from heaven. Robin and the other staff were attentive, caring, and lovely beings who help many people come out of a difficult place stronger. As I drove into a sunset recently, this song that I had added to my playlist thanks to Robin came on, and it rang true.

Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn’t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. The food is so delicious with phenomenal chefs!
I cannot give a more high recommendation for rehab than Diamond House! The alumni program is also wonderful with weekly Friday night speaker meetings and fun events every month like the sober bowl party , rollerskating, silent disco party And much more! If you need help with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction, you need to go to Diamond House! They also have a fabulous PHP partial hospitalization and IOP intensive outpatient program. I love this place!

I like this place. And all the staff. The counselor actually care and WANT to help you. I’m not sure why it has 3 stars, because this is a location trying to help recoverin addicts like myself. Only down fall is the wait, for certain things, but thats only at the beginning when you register as a PT there because of all the paperwork and stuff you have to do. Also they provide lots of help. Counseling. Help getting a primary doctor. They care about you and your needs and I love that about them. They are awesome. 10/10

I have been to 3 different methadone clinics and this one is by far the best. Great and super friendly staff. I just showed up one morning at 6am because my suboxone was making me feel violently nauseous all the sudden and I needed help, this place saved my life. C. O. R. E. Medical Clinic was the first clinic of it's kind here in Sacramento. The level of compassionate care starts with it's founder Dr.Stinson and reverberates throughout the rest of the staff. I cannot say enough about how this clinic places Harm Reduction above all else. What else can I say about River City Recovery!!! If you TRULY want to be FREED from the disease of addiction, this place will do everything within their power to assist you in getting there. The rest is up to you and how TRULY BAD you as an individual want the opportunity to live your BEST life!!! All I had to do was show up and put to use ALL the great tools they give you and after being clean and sober for going on five months now, I can honestly say the program is PRICELESS!!! It was A nice rehabilitation center. I had family around me which made it a little more comfortable. I thought that A month would be enough for me. I missed my kids. I made every excuse why I did not need more time in recovery. Truth is you do. Stay with it. It is a great place.
