About Pathways Recovery

Pathways Recovery is a luxury rehab in Roseville, California. You can access inpatient medical detox, gender specific residential programs, and intensive outpatient care for adult men and women. They provide drug and alcohol addiction as well as co occurring disorder treatment.

Each program focuses on healing your mind, body, and soul with proven and holistic therapeutic interventions. You’ll build a personalized, trauma informed treatment plan to help you reach your recovery goals. You may start treatment in medical detox to rid your body of substances under 24/7 monitoring. Depending on which level of care fits your situation, you can participate in group and individual therapy, trauma therapy, 12 Step programs, mindfulness activities, and medication assisted treatment.

What stands out most to me is their women’s campus. You’ll benefit from exceptional amenities while living in an intimate, family like setting. Their ranch style treatment center is on 5 acres of tranquil farmland surrounded by breathtaking oak trees and flowers. You’ll have access to a jacuzzi, a heated swimming pool, and a large patio. They provide plenty of space for wellness and reflection along with access to nature trails, hiking, gardening, and more.

I also love their focus on holistic healing. They work to revitalize your life, offering nutritious chef prepared meals, a gym, a personal fitness instructor, yoga, and more. You’ll benefit from caring for your whole body to gain positive habits that promote long term recovery.

Pathways saved my life. I went there broken physically and mentally and left with hope and tools. The medical team was fantastic. Thank you to all of the nurses and staff. The leadership was present and accessible. The case managers were consistent, caring and knowledgeable. The food was great. Although cold, the pool served as a great wake up call in the morning and nightcap. The jacuzzi and outdoor shower were used consistently. The program works if you work it. I would recommend pathways to anybody close to me. The gym and breath work classes are great. Just a really well run, organized and caring environment.

There is no way to describe how grateful I am for the team at Pathways for the guidance and support they provided. The amount of care and empathy that was shown by each staff member was unparalleled, and the tools they provided will last a lifetime. Stephen was so much more than just a counselor. He is a mentor, a guiding light, and showed me a way to live and love myself that I had forgotten was possible. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way and thank you for being a part of my recovery!

Pathways Recovery Gave Us Our Daughter Back When my daughter showed up at Pathways Recovery, she was drinking 10 Fireballs a day—plus gin. She was completely broken, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to watch your child spiral like that and feel powerless to help. We were desperate for something or someone who could reach her. From the very first phone call, Jennifer in admissions was amazing. She treated us with kindness and compassion, and she made us feel like there was still hope. Getting our daughter admitted felt like the first step toward saving her life. The team at Pathways took her in, detoxed her safely, and showed her a new way to live—a life that doesn’t include alcohol. They didn’t just help her stop drinking; they helped her rediscover herself. They gave her tools, structure, and support to start healing from the inside out. What meant so much to us was how responsive and communicative the staff was. They kept us informed, answered every question, and genuinely cared about our daughter’s well-being. We could feel that she wasn’t just another client—she was someone they truly wanted to help. The facility itself is peaceful and comfortable—a large, beautiful home tucked into the foothills outside Roseville, with a pool and a calm, healing atmosphere. It was the perfect place for her to start over. Thanks to Pathways Recovery, we have our daughter back. She’s sober, she’s grounded, and she’s finally living again. We’ll be forever grateful to Jennifer and everyone at Pathways for helping our family find hope again

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Pathways Recovery works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.

Pathways changed my life! The staff really care about you, thank goodness for them! The food was amazing, even when the chef went heavy on the lentils. It's a beautiful property, complete with a pool and hot tub. They are not punitive, they guide and nurture. Support staff is equally amazing and compassionate. 90 days was not near enough time in paradise. And the curriculum was challenging. I love pathways!

Pathways is a very special place. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everybody I met there was super dedicated and caring as well as knowledgeable and professional. Also, not as important, but I swear the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and pretty tasty food. In addition to great staff and program, the accommodations are very comfortable. I went in feeling so hopeless. I was able to extended my time beyond how long I had intended to stay in treatment, which was great, because it was so beneficial. I left feeling stronger and with a recovery plan and resources. Also, Shelli is awesome!

Pathways Recovery Center truly saved my life. I’m deeply grateful to the counselors - Shelli, Renee, Allie, and Kristen - for their unwavering support and genuine commitment to every client’s recovery. The program offers a thoughtfully structured day, blending evidence-based therapies like DBT and CBT with activities such as yoga, CrossFit, and art therapy. It creates an environment that’s both disciplined and supportive - exactly what early recovery needs. The staff are not only kind, but incredibly knowledgeable, and they meet you with both compassion and accountability. A special thank you to Jen from admissions, whose warmth and empathy made a difficult first call feel safe and possible. If you are serious about getting sober and staying sober, I would absolutely recommend Pathways. It didn’t just help me - it changed my life.

I was on my last string. I did a Google search and saw Pathways Recovery. I really didn't know what I was getting myself into AND it was out of my insurance network. My phone calls to Pathways were met with compassion, understanding and follow-up. I showed up and I really lucked out. I learned that this was a dual-diagnosis program ... let's get to the core of my addiction. I started in detox. The team was incredible kind, supportive and genuine. From there, I moved into inpatient treatment. The structure, education, meetings, coping skills, tools, individual counseling, therapy meetings, etc ... all by design and extremely beneficial. I can honestly say that I did not meet one staff member that was not caring. That may sound a bit surreal but it's true. I received unsolicited feedback from the majority of who I encountered telling me how much they love their job and their colleagues. That speaks volumes to me ... and it should for you as well. I am showing up for myself again. I am loving myself again. I will attend alumni days, write a review and stay in recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Pathways Recovery. I could not have done this without you.
