The alumni support program is something I don't see mentioned enough when people talk about what makes a rehab worth considering. Getting through treatment is one thing. Having some kind of structured support afterward is a completely different conversation, and it matters.

One of the best rehabs available. Everyone was very personable, respectful, kind, and patient. Just over 365 days sober thanks to Rise. Allison saved me, and I cannot thank her enough. If you’re in deep and hopeless, take her word, do what she recommends, let her guide the process. She is a godsend. Trust her. Ron, Sharie, Dr. Mark, Nam, Cat, Dr. Raskin (who is very kind, don’t let other reviews fool you) and everyone else, thank you as well. My daughter has her dad back thanks to y'all.
Also special shout out to Cesar for our trip out to West Hollywood to check out sober livings. Fun adventure and one of the easiest people to talk to one on one.

The first phone call i had was an intake with Allison. She is the one who convinced me to come to Rise. She is amazing. She is there from the beginning to the end if you need anything.
The first person I met at rise was Nam. He is the man he’s there for you all the time he works 20 hours a day. The man is amazing.
Next, I met Zac the nurse he’s such a cool dude and listens to you and takes whatever concerns you have and it gets it fixed for you.
As far as nurses Daisy, David and Nina were great.
If you have real medical issues, I would not go there
Dr.Raskin is a first class clown. The first time I met him, he spoke to me in the kitchen for 30 seconds and ran away. The next time I saw him was on Zoom for about 60 seconds and he got off. I had a lot of medical issues and he was not there for me. I was very disappointed in that. I refuse to see him after that that’s one of the few bad things about Rise is the doctor. If he was my employee he’d be fired. I complained about him a lot.
The counselor Michael, Josh And Beth were great they listen to you and make you feel like they are helping you out.
A special shout out to Cat My hippie dippy friend she is the one who does yoga and meditation. I never did that in my life before I’m an older man and she was amazing.
I’m from the East Coast. The food was not that great. I was disappointed in that they have a private chef. James was the best chef
That’s the only thing I could say about the food. Very disappointing.
That being said, I would definitely go to Rise. They save my marriage and they save my life. Thank you to the team if I left anybody out, I’m sorry.

It was my first time going into treatment and I was scared to fly to California. I'm happy I made the decision to trust Enlight with my safety and wellbeing. These people really know how to change lives, speaking from experience. I was battling with alcohol, drugs and mental health issues that I was never able to address. I was scared that my job was going to penalize me but the team worked well with my employer so that I can really take my time and focus on my recovery. This was the best decision I have ever made. As I sit here, dead of winter in Upstate New York. I appreciate the time I spent at Enlight Treatment center. This is usually the time I would look for something to lift my mood. Depression gets the best of me and I spiral. I was able to really open up there. I was able to unload and place a lot of my unresolved feelings aside. They really have wonderful people there. If you're serious about getting rid of whatever it is you need to get rid of.. I would absolutely go! The food wasn't too bad either😘

I just discharged from this program a couple days ago. To anyone thinking or considering coming here, let this be your confirmation to start packing TODAY. This program has literally changed my life in more ways than just becoming sober. I was on heroin and meth before I admitted into detox and it's been 73 days now and the transformation is something I thought wasnt even possible for me. If you're from out of state and worried about starting over, don't be. They got you. But it starts with you deciding to make a change, and having an open mind to give them the chance to help. After your 28days, They have a badass PHP, IOP program, the facilitators are mostly recovering addicts themselves or educated drug counselors or both. These people are so freaking awesome and they genuinely care and you'll notice it immediately. I seriously can't stress enough to anyone considering coming here, if you're uncertain or hesitant about making the call...which I feel like is something every addict goes through beforehand, DO NOT LET ANYTHING OR ANYONE STOP YOU FROM THIS OPPORTUNITY. You can always go home if you want to but you can't always experience recovery like this.

From the very first call I made James and the rest of the team at Wish Recovery did everything they could to make me feel welcome, safe, respected, and cared for. I had reached out to Wish after being assaulted by a staff member at another program ( not affiliated with Wish) within 20 minutes of my call James had sent a uber to pick me up. Then between James and Fran they made sure my medications and the rest of my property were picked up. I was never made to feel like I was an inconvenience and my concerns were addressed without hesitation. All of the documentation needed to support my leave from work was completed promptly and sent to the necessary departments. The therapists are amazing and the center is beautiful, clean, and staffed with courteous professionals. My house manager Matt is caring and respectful. The sober living house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and clean. I have truly felt welcome from the very beginning.

I'm currently ending my treatment at Sanctuary. I going to start off with that I have been in treatment before. I love Sanctuary Treatment Center. I never felt like I was a body shuffled in and out the door just for the money. They actually care. The staff, therapists, groups are excellent. My needs were met promptly. Golden Road is a great place for you or your loved one to get well. Compared to many treatment options, Golden Road is small and intimate and allows for time, space attention and care to support your sobriety. Staff is supportive, many have first hand experience of addiction, and there are plenty of opportunities to get in nature. As a past client, I liked it here. Not just cause of the house, but I felt safe there. After a while it felt more like home than my real house so I started calling it home. The staff were helpful and supportive. They didn't send me off to inpatient like other places would have when I was struggling. My name is Steven Garcia, I’ve never written a review about anything but this place changed my entire life and future. I was 17 when I went to hillcrest treatment facility and heavily addicted to substances. As soon as I stepped inside I was welcome in with open arms. We had fresh meals made daily, fitness, and as well as other activities to get my natural dopamine back up, I made lifelong friendships and lifelong heart touching memories. It was the best time of my life and I stayed sober ever since then and I am 20 now, I bought my own car and I will be moving out into my own apartment soon. The caregivers and therapists and everyone involved was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wasn’t able to keep in contact with them due to rules but I think about the caregivers, therapists and my experience that I had there every single day, it was so touching that every day I strive to do better because I think about all the people that helped me at hillcrest, eventually if possible I would even like to get a job there to help kids like I was helped. It was the most amazing heart warming experience I’ve had in my entire life and I would recommend this place a million times to anyone. If anyone from hillcrest that remembers me sees this, thank you for changing my life I truly wouldn’t be in the position I’m in if I never met all of you.

Summit is a magical place and has changed my life. I’ve had several experiences with treatment centers and there is just nothing as special as Summit. Each staff member is unique, authentic and brings their own warmth, compassion and wisdom. I have learned so much about myself, my SUD and have gained so many tools to help me achieve abstinence. Summit truly saved my life. I showed up there in rough shape and even had to go to the ER. They still welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I always felt well cared for and the staff is truly top tier. The groups were engaging and the intensive therapy was great. I was even to do family therapy while there, that helped me greatly and allowed me to start rebuilding trust with loved ones. I am so grateful for Summit and the wonderful people I met, and the experience I had. Hopefully I never have to attend again, but I would have no hesitance in returning to their program.

So at first I didn't think I would really like it but as you become to know staff it becomes an amazing experience. The staff as a whole genuinely cares about you becoming a better person as they give you the tools to maintain the healthy experience to live a sober life. Carina has from day one been a pleasure to be around cuz of her sense of humor and her care in her heart of concern for each person here. Jose the main guy got me socks and boxers and the stuff I needed when I first came to. Stephanie is amazing on the medical side of things as well as all the other nurses here. Staff is what got me to stay here and they have amazing possibilities after this next step totally recommend this place for anyone seeking treatment and wanting to maintain sobriety afterwards.

Inspire was a life-saving experience for me. The staff is incredible, genuinely caring, and Dr. Lugo, my therapist, is a true miracle worker who saw through me and helped me confront my issues. Before I begin writing this review, I would like to let whoever is reading this know that you are already taking the necessary steps to create a better way of life and healthier way of thinking.
I needed help in my life and Elevation Behavioral Health provided the care and tools I was in search for. Starting from the admissions process until my final day, the Elevation staff went above and beyond. Stephanie, was in charge of my admissions, which she made seamless. Stephanie responded to all my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion and with great care.
At the Calabasas house, I had the privilege to have Michele as my therapist. I owe her my life with how attentive and caring she was for me. Michele was compassionate, funny, and direct - something I needed. I could go on and on about how great of a therapist she was for me, but I do not know if there would be enough characters for me to write a review. Thank you Michele.
The coaches and chefs, all of whom were therapists within their own right, were fantastic. In a place where you already feeling vulnerable they made it feel like home. Friendly, compassionate, and wonderful human beings overall is not enough to say about them. (Again, worried about the character limit here.) I want to thank them all and would give them all a gold stars if I could.
If you do end up in the Calabasas house, I have left a letter for you, the client, to read, from one friend to another. You got this. You're right where you need to be. Most of all, you're making the correct and best decision by coming to Elevation.

My 12 year old son stayed at Beachside for two months in the spring and we brought home a changed child. After struggling with some significant trauma, the counselors that worked with my son were truly wonderful. The weekend activities were excellent including boating and trips to amusement parks. During the week, he learned to surf, completed his school curriculum so that he could graduate from his regular education elementary school, and took hikes at beautiful locations around Malibu. He loved the food, and participated in group and music therapy as well as individual counseling. We spoke on the phone most nights and had great weekend visits. My son is now a thriving 7th grader, enjoying school and close relationships with his friends. I would encourage anyone struggling to give your child the gift of this healing environment.

I recently completed a month’s stay at The Pointe and am writing this review so that others dealing with pain and/or substance dependence consider this program.
This is an exceptional program for many reasons— the sheer beauty and tranquility of its location overlooking the ocean, the exceptionally caring and highly skilled non-medical and medical staff, the content of the program itself and its application of cutting edge science in the treatment of both pain and addiction, and the remarkably healthy and delicious food prepared with care and attention to individual dietary needs.
I highly recommend this program. It meets one where they are and helps one navigate through a difficult time, providing resources, skills, and self-knowledge to continue on one’s own.

This place changed and SAVED my life. It gave me a safe space to heal and provided trustworthy caregivers, doctors and therapists to give me guidance into sobriety and emotional healing. I am 4 months and 24 days clean from drugs and alcohol and I would recommend The Pointe to everyone and anyone. Your loved one or yourself will be taken care of here and it’s so worth it. I have been to other treatment centers in my first bout of trying to get sober in 2020 and The Pointe goes above and beyond. I’m at a completely different mindset and although getting sober is hard work, I truly think The Pointe not only is a beautiful and sacred place to get sober in but every single person went above and beyond to care about me and teach me so many tools to have the open and sober mindset I have now.
