I am very grateful for The Lakes. Everyone on staff was kind, patient and empathetic. We had a family member stay there and The Lakes changed her life and our lives for the better. They treated her like family and from the time she arrived to the time she was ready to come home... it was immediately apparent she was in much better health mentally, emotionally and physically. Not only did they provide her with help she sorely needed but they provide the tools needed to ensure success after as well with a more 'dual diagnostics' approach which I found VERY effective.
Now with life after The Lakes, she made friends with other guests there and has established a great support group. The Lakes approach encourages guests to develop friendships that people can carry after they leave. I've seen other treatment centers and this is not your 'typical' treatment center. This one has a much more 'family' oriented approach that will help you on multiple levels.
So THANK YOU to all the staff there... I feel like we got a new lease on life and we are super grateful for all your help. (Also... the food was excellent so kudos to the kitchen staff too) You just don't get that 'family vibe' anywhere else for a place like this and that's a key component to The Lakes success.

For years, I was reluctant to use the VA because of what I had heard about problems across the country. Due to the lack of doctors in the area and very poor service provided by a healthcare company in Oakhurst, I started using this facility. The experience has been just excellent. If only private healthcare providers were this good. I can honestly say that I have never had such fine, professional service and I am 72 years old.

Every time that I have come to this clinic it has been a good experience. I have been here about five times so far or different services. Normally I use the Fresno facility, but since I have been working in Fish Camp this location has been perfect. I highly recommend this clinic to any veterans living in the mountain area. Forget about going to the Fresno VA hospital. Thank you to the entire staff who are creating a pleasant environment for veterans to seek healthcare. Also thank you to everybody who helps maintain the facility and grounds, because it always looks beautiful.

I've been going to this clinic since 2017 for psychiatric services. The resident pshychatist has changed four times since then. Dr. Barnes first, then Dr. Seghal, then Dr. Manuel, and now Dr. Carillo. (If history is any guide, Dr. Carillo will eventually be succeeded by another doctor at some point.) All of the doctors were good in their own ways. Never had the slightest problem with any of them. I bonded most with Dr. Seghal because he was an intellectual, and I learn best when speaking to intellectuals. Dr. Carillo, for her part, is the most efficient and reliable of all her predecessors not to mention the most empathetic. She is second to none. You couldn't ask for a better doctor. Well, I suppose you could, but you wouldn't get one. Despite the many changeovers with the psychiatrists, the services have never changed: they are fantastic, and I highly recommend this clinic.

This review is a little late I haven't been there in a few years So the psychiatrist I saw was good but I wasn't a huge fan of the therapist I saw but maybe she just wasn't the best therapist for me personally.idk also they were kinda hard to get a hold of for a while and the phone would just ring and ring for what felt like forever so I just kinda gave up trying so that was kinda on me too .this was back in like 2018 or 2019 for context so the people who worked there then might not even work there anymore.

I’m almost at my completion of 30 day in Firststeps recovery I’m gonna tell you this program has been an eye opener for I really thought it was going to be like them programs around Fresno that have all the criminal elements and different types of court ordered people but it wasn’t. This was way different every type of working class people trying to better themselves and I never seen this around not in all the times I was court ordered to attend NA/AA classes thank god it’s east like what I was used to seeing I felt at peace and excepted here because I to have been to prison from the age of 18 till I was 25 years old I spent probably 2 months out in the streets I was clean for about 14 years and around 3 1/2 years ago I picked up again this time almost taking myself to the grave now I enjoy waking up every morning with a purpose in life to better myself and the people around me that are in this program. You our addiction doesn’t discriminate it attacks every walks of life and I’m glad to enjoy my sobriety with individuals that excepted me in like everyone that walks through the Firststeps recovery facility so if you have a family member or friend that needs help in addition I recommend you send them here were no one is judged but excepted as the addicted that we all are my drug of choice is meth there’s can be alcohol, opioids, or just marijuana addition is addiction and we all understand each other regardless of our D.O.C. CRC saved my life; there is no denying that. I reached out on a Friday morning and the intake team connected to me within 30 minutes. From that moment forward I have been in their care from detox through IOP and soon into alumni! Every step of the way the CRC staff - counselors, case managers, chef (yes there is a chef and he is AMAZING!!!!), billing, therapists, and leadership - were and are still around to support my recovery. I came in thinking that I only had a substance issue, but through the careful, methodical, and diligent work I came to understand the hopelessness which I was in as well as the sweet possibilities of my future in long term recovery. They connected me external resources and even helped me find a place to live after residential. When I say I love this organization and everything they do I mean it. I was blessed with the care and love of people who wanted no more for me then to help. Supported by people who lived to the tell tale and pass on their knowledge as all great humans do.
My goal in entering recovery for my first time was to marry my recovery and sobriety. I was nervous and scared because I thought I wouldn’t have fun nor be fun anymore - I was wrong. Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn’t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. The food is so delicious with phenomenal chefs!
I cannot give a more high recommendation for rehab than Diamond House! The alumni program is also wonderful with weekly Friday night speaker meetings and fun events every month like the sober bowl party , rollerskating, silent disco party And much more! If you need help with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction, you need to go to Diamond House! They also have a fabulous PHP partial hospitalization and IOP intensive outpatient program. I love this place!

I have been coming here for years. This place saved my life. I was lucky for so long to have an amazing counselor with Corinna until she left. Still miss her! Then I got to be with Monica for a while until she ended up leaving. Miss her too! And now I am with Juanita and she is also awesome! I have been very lucky with the counselors I have had. Juanita inspires and encourages me every time I talk to her! I am very lucky to have her as my counselor! Although I hope to safely be off eventually I am grateful to this clinic for everything they have done. The employees here have always been kind to me and helpful.

Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. Reiki, massage therapy, equine therapy, ECT. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. These people truly are there to help people. If you're considering getting sober New Dawn is, in my opinion, the best treatment center in the state of California. Possibly the country.

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me.
