I've been going to this clinic since 2017 for psychiatric services. The resident pshychatist has changed four times since then. Dr. Barnes first, then Dr. Seghal, then Dr. Manuel, and now Dr. Carillo. (If history is any guide, Dr. Carillo will eventually be succeeded by another doctor at some point.) All of the doctors were good in their own ways. Never had the slightest problem with any of them. I bonded most with Dr. Seghal because he was an intellectual, and I learn best when speaking to intellectuals. Dr. Carillo, for her part, is the most efficient and reliable of all her predecessors not to mention the most empathetic. She is second to none. You couldn't ask for a better doctor. Well, I suppose you could, but you wouldn't get one. Despite the many changeovers with the psychiatrists, the services have never changed: they are fantastic, and I highly recommend this clinic.

This review is a little late I haven't been there in a few years So the psychiatrist I saw was good but I wasn't a huge fan of the therapist I saw but maybe she just wasn't the best therapist for me personally.idk also they were kinda hard to get a hold of for a while and the phone would just ring and ring for what felt like forever so I just kinda gave up trying so that was kinda on me too .this was back in like 2018 or 2019 for context so the people who worked there then might not even work there anymore.

After a 17 year drug addiction, I finally had enough and turned to the lakes for help. The treatment team and staff treated me like family from day one and made my detox as comfortable as possible. My counselor, Olena, was exceptional always patient, understanding, and deeply committed to my progress. The team of counselors, including Jeremy, Jenna, Stevie, and Nate, were all incredible. They made such a difference in my life, and their compassion and dedication to their work shine through every single day.The on-site activities, led by Steve, were not only enjoyable but also therapeutic. Before I began the intense outpatient care program, I had reached a point in my life where everything felt like it was falling apart. My relationships were strained, my patience with my children and family had all but vanished, and I carried around a sense of emptiness that seemed impossible to fill. I vividly remember feeling isolated and uncertain terrified that I d never become the kind of father, son, or brother I always believed I could be. It was as if I were drifting without an anchor, while those who depended on me watched me struggle from the shore.Enrolling in the intense outpatient program wasn t a simple step for me. It required admitting that I needed help and trusting that others had the tools to guide me when I couldn t guide myself. From the very first session, I was struck by the sense of understanding and compassion I encountered. The structure of the program was rigorous enough to challenge me, but flexible enough to respect the pace of my healing. It incorporated deeply reflective therapy sessions, skill-building workshops, and group dialogues that helped me recognize my own patterns of behavior, the root of my emotional pain, and the ways I could address it all without shutting down.As the weeks passed, I learned techniques for managing the overwhelming feelings that once controlled me. I practiced active listening and boundary-setting, found healthier ways to cope with stress, and redefined what it meant to show strength and vulnerability in front of those I love. Over time, I came to understand that my anger, my fatigue, and my moments of detachment didn t make me a bad person; they were signs I was struggling with something deeper. With the support of therapists and fellow participants, I learned to forgive myself, to treat my own emotions with kindness, and to ask for help before things reached a breaking point.This shift inside me had profound effects on my relationships. My children began to see a more patient and present father someone who could sit calmly with them, help with homework, or just listen to their stories at the end of the day without distraction. My interactions with my parents softened. Instead of feeling ashamed that I was a disappointment, I started to appreciate their concern and love. I learned how to communicate honestly with my siblings, no longer letting pride or fear prevent me from being there for them as much as they were there for me.The program didn t just help me survive it showed me how to live more fully and authentically. I no longer feel like I m just holding on by my fingertips, waiting for the next moment to implode. Now, I m engaged in my own growth, taking responsibility for my emotions, and actively working on being the stable, caring presence my family needs. I m gentler in my words, more consistent in my actions, and more truthful about my feelings.Intense outpatient care didn t merely fix something temporarily; it set me on a new path toward becoming a better father, a more understanding son, and a more supportive brother. Diamond House Detox is absolutely an excellent and amazing recovery house and program! I have tried several different rehab facilities but Diamond House is by far the best! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum and groups are very balanced and engaging. Diamond House has literally saved my life! The owner Vicky isn t just doing this for the money, she is also very compassionate about each and every patient. They also do art therapy, music therapy, meditation and sound bowls. A workout trainer come out five days a week to do cross fit, weightlifting, boxing, and yoga. They also have cinema therapy every Sunday and every Saturday they take us for an outing either bowling, dance class, pool tables and ping-pong and Equine therapy with horses. The food is so delicious with phenomenal chefs!I cannot give a more high recommendation for rehab than Diamond House! The alumni program is also wonderful with weekly Friday night speaker meetings and fun events every month like the sober bowl party , rollerskating, silent disco party And much more! Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. I just want to thank everyone there. I got frustrated at one point because I thought I was getting a Tb shot. I heard the girl wrong. She was just doing a test. My mistake. She was a sweetheart. Everyone there including security guard was great. Dr. Was one of the best Dr's I've ever spoke with. I have a back injury that got me hooked on vics. 100.00 a day nightmare. If your on anything don't go another day without calling them. Get in there and get your life back. Trust me on this. And don't worry who knows. Who cares. Its your life. Don't be ashamed. Everyone makes mistakes. Security guard was on a power trip tho. he was not its in inside joke. He was a great great person. And I need him to just ride safe. He has a beautiful road glide... we definitely will ride together soon. Again this is the best place to get clean and you're life back.

Went in on Friday June 3,2022My counselor calls me on Wednesdays at 650am and that fine but that day I could not sleep at all so when I finally fell asleep I missed my call but I tried called back at 730 and no answer so I called the front desk they had someone call me and she talked to me for about 30 min and then said she had to go because she had another client but she never said I was going to be on stand by so I thought I was Good Friday comes around and I m on stand by smh but Friday I had an interview @1pm and I let them know I can reschedule and make it up but they did not care they had me wait till 1:30pm when my interview was at 1

if it wasn t for by valley now, BAART METHADONE treatment I would be dead. Unfortunately, I ve had to stay on the treatment plan longer than I wanted to cause I started in 1996. But just in my many surgeries and severe osteoporosis and spinal problems. I m still in a lot of pain and this is the only thing that helps me. I like most of the people here. Especially like a receptionist.

I am highly recommending Diamond behavior health recovery center as one of the best organizations in USA for NAMI families in Florida. We were told for one of the patents with diagnosis of Schizophrenia, together with eating disorders, with no chance to be survived in Florida, but recently we saw significantly improved for the patent to PHP programs. Greatful for the treatment New Hope gave my husband. This is not a rest and relaxation recovery program, it s an actual treatment program. The staff to patient ratio is great. If you're looking to get clean and sober, this is the place for you. It is a very intense treatment program. 6 hours of groups a day. That is what people with addictions need. Other treatment centers are just a 30-90 day vacation without any beneficial knowledge for your recovery. They allow you to go to outside meetings and Church. All of the case managers are very knowledgeable and care about your recovery. I highly recommend New Hope.

After many years of trying to get sober I entered the New Dawn program In Orangevale in November of 2023 for alcoholism. And like many alcoholics, I had very little hope that I would ever be able to get sober and stay sober. My life was an absolute wreck and I was out of options. New Dawn was willing to take me in so I reluctantly went. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed in by compassionate and caring staff. During my stay I I took part in all of the classes that were lead by fantastic and well experienced counselors. The housing was great and felt like home with all the amenities after a short bit. With an in house chef I enjoyed every meal to the fullest. I tremendously benefited from the one on one therapy sessions and outside AA meetings. Every step of the way I was helped with my disease, internal pain and trauma. Today I have a life I never thought was possible with a loving relationship with myself , the world I live in and the people in it. I m an active member of AA and enjoy being sober and of sound mind. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone seeking help or for your loved ones in need. I wouldn t be the man I am today or have the wonderful life I live without the fresh start I got from New Dawn treatment center.
