I feel very privileged to be able to spend 30 days at maple moon. I can t say enough on how the entire staff made me feel safe and comfortable and supported. The detox was as easy as can be and and I was given the tools and confidence to continue my journey after.

When i first got here everyone is vary nice and caring and the food is amazing over all the care and the passion the staff shows in every client is super nice and welcoming and the food is so good it feels like a resort it s so nice the house is nice the people actually care about me I just loved being here and would recommend to anyone going in to treatment and I really appreciate the staff for making me feel welcome

I cannot give enough praise to Rise in Malibu. My son was recently admitted for the 30 day alcoholism program. With great fear and hesitation he was soon talking with Allison in admissions. Her unbelievable patience, knowledge, unmatched kindness, and long phone calls, gave him the reassurance he needed to get on the plane.Upon arrival to LAX there was another team member waiting for him at the baggage carousel. He was a recovered alcoholic and really understood the hesitation being experienced by my son. How wonderful to have that real life encouragement, even before walking in the front door.Upon arrival he met all the wonderful staff that he appreciated were non judgmental, which was very important to him. Each staff member took time to really get to know him, so they could develop a personal treatment plan to meet his specific needs. He participated in group, individual and spiritual counseling. The painting activity uncovered a talent that he did not know he had. The group meals, activities, gym time and outings allowed positive and supportive friendships to develop.I visited about two weeks in and met most of the staff. Every person was as wonderful as he had said they were. It was then I learned that all the staff members have recovered from their own addiction. That explains their kind, understanding and unrelenting devotion to helping others.During my visit he showed me around and introduced me to the staff like they were all his family. He was proud of his progress and finally believing in recovery. I saw happiness in him for the first time in many years.He continues to reach out to team members when there is a bump in the road. Having that ability has truly kept him on the right path. He is now in sober living with sobriety a realistic outcome, for the first time in 20 years. I am forever grateful to Rise in Malibu!

An absolute gem!!The home is stunning with individual spacious rooms, infinity pool, and view of the ocean for starters. My experience with the admissions team of Lori and Berkeley was a great start as I did not, for one minute, feel pressured. The staff, comprised of Masters level and Doctorate clinicians provide the most comprehensive treatment this industry has to offer. The one on one attention you receive here is unbelievable. I had 90+ sessions in a 30 day stay. My Primary Therapist Dr Nisha, my case manager Ellie, Trauma Therapist Michael, IFS and Neurobiology with Dr Mark, Massage and relaxation with Sam, LMFT Gina and Heather, Breathwork/Reiki/Yoga with Cat, Personal Trainer Luke, Nursing with Shari and Paige, Spiritual Counseling with Gina and Beth, 5 star Chefs Jake, Cameron, Bryce and Amanda, Support staff Nam, Art with Noku, all provided the care I desperately needed at this most vulnerable moment in my life. And I need to mention that the CEO Patrick is amazing and he meets every client with a smile and some hope.If you are needing help, look no further and come to Rise in Malibu. I’m writing this review on behalf of my loved one who attended Golden Road Recovery. Of course when attending any new treatment center there will always be worries and nerves, but I can confidently say the staff at GRR made the transition as comfortable as possible. They made my loved one feel like family. The goal was to help patients detox, while keeping them busy on a daily routine. I’ve seen only two negative reviews on here but I must say after our experience I can guarantee those were not truthful reviews. Every single staff member will go out of their way to make sure they help you as best as they can to give you the best odds at a successful recovery. If you're suffering from addiction, come to Golden Road... It'll change your life. They saved mine. I lost my career, my identity, my sense of self, my purpose when I found out I had to stop working with horses because I needed a spine surgery on my neck. I began a vicious cycle of drinking. First, drinking on weekends, then weekends and mid week. Later every few days. Ultimately, my despair, loneliness, hopelessness, and severe depression lead to me losing a week of my life to a rolling blackout drunk... When I got to the last half bottle, I decided once it was gone I was done drinking and I was putting myself in rehab. I wasn't coming home until I felt better. I had tried to quit and failed repeatedly over the years, tried cutting back the amount to control the blackouts, tried having others serve me to control my drinking. The worst part was, the more I tried controlling it, the worse my flashbacks, nightmares, PTSD and depression got. So the more I drank. I began Door Dashing the alcohol late at night so no one would know I had more, I also began paying cash for alcohol so no one would see how often I was going to the liquor store. It was cheap and legal and readily available. I called all over my area to find a detox center and rehab that accepted my insurance when I came across Golden Road Recovery. I began chatting with someone to see if they accepted my Tricare for Life insurance and they gave me a number to call and verify. I reached Jason. Jason was so caring and quick to offer help. He gave me a direct# and began to verify my insurance. Within minutes, he called me back and said in fact they do accept Tricare for Life/Tricare West for retired military and their families. Jason made me feel like I was the only person in the world that he was helping. The next day I flew out to LA from Kansas City, MO. After arriving to Golden Road I met Jason, only to discover he actually runs Golden Road, and is a very busy man. I was absolutely astonished as I was treated like the most important person on the planet. I was molested by a 19 year old neighbor beginning at the age of 2 years old, raised by a very violently abusive alcoholic Preacher father, raped at 14 years, and so on. I needed help, so I asked to stay for 45 days instead of the 30 days. The treatments, the therapy, Dr. Thomas, Chef Eric, and all the staff members are amazing. The therapy works, and the people really do genuinely care. The rooms/house is beautiful. If you're in need of help recovering from addiction, please do come to Golden Road Recovery. It'll save your life.

Just finished treatment at WVDT and in the beginning (as per usual whenever anyone is kicking anything hard) I was hostile, isolated and resistant to the treatment. I came in on NYE 24 from Miami, FL and by day 4 I needed to go to the hospital, they made the decision and when I was done I returned to finish my 28 days of treatment. I am very thankful for everything and everyone there, I have never been more clean in my life since I began using in 2020. One of the workers Mariah, shared her story with me in the beginning of my stay and one thing she said really resonated with me. "I just stayed, and I listened" and for my duration I just grasped onto that. I stayed, I listened, and I got my life back. They also assist you with post-treatment planning, whether that's PHP, Sober living, IOP, etc. They make sure you have all the tools you need so once you're discharged it'll be a smooth transition for you. Everyone there was knowledgeable and had some type of first hand experience in what you're actually going through. Some notable shoutouts include Austin, Mariah, Beau, Emmanuel, Malika and Jordan. The Private Chef there too is amazing. For going through what was the toughest time in my life, I will never forget my month there. Thanks Everyone!

Any good story should start so there I was. So there I was, I was a meth user for 30 plus years and an alcoholic. I don't know we're to begin on how much starbridge helped me.. my mental health was shot by body was shot and my pride was shot I had been to countles facilities and programs during my 30 years of use and soon as i left I knew I was getting high. Something clicked here at starbridge recovery for me yes I have a 1 year old and a partner at home that I was trying to get clean for but the staff and faculty had me realize that I need to do first and for most for me than my family will reap the benefits of the real Tyson. I can go on and on about the good food from the private chef the heated pool the nurse on duty the technician that run groups and the counselor/psychiatrist,and the other clients that were there at my stay... but what really got me was soon as walked in the door the energy that overcame my body and In my belief the other countless souls of the people who came and left before me left a part of themselves there. And I knew that I was safe from whatever my problems were that they were gonna be taken care of I want everyone too know that starbridge recovery has saved me and has shown my family a new man one that they deserved for 30 years ..... thank you for saving my life everyone at starbridge and beyond. This was the best recovery experience! This was not my first time in treatment and I thought that I knew what to expect. The groups were small and intimate. The staff and other clients were caring, empathetic, open minded and friendly. I was introduced to Smart Recovery which is a great alternative to 12 step programs. We attended 12 Step meetings as well. All the techs and counselors were committed to my success. My therapist Stephanie is a great listener! She heard my concerns and was able to present other perspectives that I hadn t thought of. The chef, Dean is a fabulous cook! Dustin, Evan, Leslie, Sam, Brittany, America were all essential in this process. They are all proof that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety but connection!

My experience at The Canyons was life changing. Antonio and his team of therapists, support groups and staff are all wonderful to work with and truly care about your recovery and well being. I have had other experiences in recovery and have never come out with a more solid foundation and hope for the future than I have since leaving the canyon. The treatment programs are comprehensive and they are an excellent center for teen recovery.

I don't have enough good to say about this team. They really helped my kids when we hit a rough spot. One even started with a strained relationship with food. After some time and help from the Hillcrest team things have really improved for our family.

Phoenix House changed my life. It is a fantastic brotherhood that will help you gain positive relationships; and new friendships. The staff truly cares about you in every way. The Counselors, and Therapists provide you with new skills you can use in recovery. It is a great experience for those who need help with substance abuse. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn t for Avedis I don t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

You get drug tested 2 times a week and at the house. If your serious about getting and staying clean come give this place a try

I felt lost, anxious, confused, and ashamed. But as soon as I stepped into DEDICATO they treated me with compassion and empathy, I wasn't judged at all. I felt so at ease and comfortable. Dr. Marshall is very understanding he knows where I was coming from and he felt my pain. The staff treated me like family. The first person to greet you is Lilly with a smile and helps with any questions you might have, Kalen a staff member and a physical trainer is their by your side step by step. I call them the three wise men again Dr. Marshall keeps it real with me, that's what I wanted honestly, by my side during my journey on recovery. I have David an awesome person has great group zoom meetings. Charles keeps it real also honest and humble, very understanding. I recommend this place to everyone and everybody who wants to change their lives and recover from any addiction. I came here in November at the guidance of my work. I worked as a biochemist for a large medical company. I thought I could get better on my own. The people here showed me how to learn to live clean without substances. It was the perfect mix of ultra luxury and intense therapeutic work. I highly recommend this treatment center, and anyone who needs to come here.

Sanctuary was the kindest I ve ever been treated as an addict. I ve had terrible experiences in rehab and they made me feel safe. The staff was always kind and I never felt judged for feeling the way I did. They didn t expect too much of me and let me ease into group therapy. I m forever grateful for that experience at one of the worst times of my life.
