About Twin Town Treatment Centers Sherman Oaks
This facility offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and continuing care.
There are separate adult and adolescent day programs that both require eight hours of treatment per day for up to six days per week. Treatment begins with a medical assessment, then goes on to relapse prevention, education of the medical model of addiction, and family codependency counseling.
The IOP focuses on problem-solving skills, relapse prevention, disease model education, family communication skills, family counseling, and stress management. This program consists of three hours of treatment per day up to six days per week. As participants move through the program they attend fewer hours of treatment and more 12-step meetings. Ten sessions of IOP are provided to individuals who complete Twin Town’s program and later relapse.
