Casa capri changed my life, making the decision to come here was extremely hard but i thank myself everyday for doing it. The staff here is incredible and feels like family. Ive learned so much about my disease and how to manage my life again, learn about the true complex nature of my addiction, how it works, and how to be free. The support is forever and you can feel how much they want you to do good here. It works if you work it. My therapist Lauren was amazing and i wish i could take her and my case manager with me! But they have set me up for success. Im so thankful to them. Casa Capri treated me with dignity and respect, everyday. They always had my best interest at heart. I came into treatment only planning to stay 2 weeks, i was encouraged to stay the full 30 days and it was so worth it. Its hard to leave only because of how much ill miss the staff, fellow clients, and the cooking!!!

It was my first time in any kind of treatment. I didn’t know what to expect. But I’m so glad that my loved ones chose Casa Capri for me! There are 4 houses on one street that they occupy. A detox, ED house and 2 Rehabilitation houses. They’re like beach cottages. Makes you feel like you are at a little home away from home but with extra Roomate’s. Detox time allows you to relax, get set up on medication schedule, fill your days with movies, snacks, and prepare yourself for residential. * Do not bring any open food or vapes. Bring comfortable clothes, you’re just lounging. The techs are there for you. You can talk to them about anything. They listen. Even at 3 in the morning when I couldn’t sleep. Residential is where the real work begins. Your days begin with morning group and meditation, followed by breakfast of your choice with all casa girlies from both houses, medication, getting ready for the day and morning chores. The groups range from open discussion, understanding a little more about yourself, and sharing your story with others. It’s a time to cry, grow, support the other girls and dig deep. You have dietician groups, outings, pilates, breath works, creative art and so much more built in as well. The houses have lunch and dinner prepared by a wonderful chef. She is a delight. So funny and really caters to your diet needs. Casa girls rotate clean ups, find time to read their big books, work on casa binder for telephone privileges and sponsor work! You attend off site AA women’s only meetings. Great place to hear others share, to take new comer and various lengths of sobriety chips and find a sponsor! You become very close with the girls in your house. We would watch shows together, swim in the pool and do crafts like making sober friendship bracelets. Every week there is client cook night where the houses rotate and pick the menu for the night. Go over with the dietician and the chef for dietary needs, and purchasing. It’s a great way to do something for others. The idea behind these scheduled days is to get you to be active in your recovery, participate, get connected with others and get back to the basics. All techs are so approachable and really do care about you and what you’re going through. In the beginning most are shy, disconnected and broken, but when you settle in you start to become a woman in recovery and start gain strength and grow. Understand and appreciate more. I will forever be grateful to my therapist there. Each clients is assigned a case worker and therapist and they help you navigate your recovery and process areas you need to work on. Everything is in confidence. And it’s really a safe space. I can’t thank Casa Capri Recovery in Costa Mesa enough. They helped me prepare myself for the outside world as a woman in recovery. If anyone in my life is struggling, I know Casa will always be the place I recommend. They hold a special place in my heart. Thanks Casa Team, I couldn’t have done this without you!

Akua is where I got clean. The staff is very patient and kind. Because of this, I eventually came around to opening my mind more. I didn’t want to participate in meetings and put minimal effort in facilitated group on the beginning. Over time, I felt more comfortable and staff shared their struggles and how they overcame it. I felt like I was able to face the destruction of my past and eventually did. The different groups that they provide help build a well rounded foundation and I thank them for the time clean I have today. Thank you Akua

The staff was very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating through my early recovery efforts! Plenty of time is made to provide access to the gym, AA/NA meetings, healthy and delicious food, therapy, group sessions, down time and yoga to name a few of the highlights. I had my reservations before enrolling with Akua but by the end of my month-long time there I was sad to have to leave, knowing that I would miss all the staff and clients, as well as the tools they provided me to succeed within my next chapters of the recovery process. I plan to attend their Wednesday AA alumni meetings!

Awesome treatment team! Did so much for me in a time of great need. Very grateful to have stayed at Ocean Recovery for 90 days in May of 2022. They introduced me to the program that has helped me stay sober to this day. The staff (when I was there) was kind and professional. Most were in recovery themselves, worked solid programs, and were happy to share their experience, strength, and hope with me. At the end of the day, if you’re ready to get help, this is solid place to start💯

I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for the experience that I had at Ocean Recovery. I have been trying to get sober since February and after three detoxes and another treatment center and completing all these programs , I never had the tools or the clinical support to actually stay sober.. what they have built here changed the trajectory of my life. Everyone from Chas, Matt , Danny, Rachel, and Maddie on the administrative side, supported me every step of the way in terms of supporting my commitment to follow through.. My care team of Chase and Amanda were supportive and also helped me navigate medical issues, doctors appointments and assisting on making the next steps in my sober life. Clinicians like Bruce, Jake and others continuously brought an informative element that really peeled away the layers of why I do what I do. Once I got physically sober, the staff at Ocean Recovery started showing me causes and effects and putting together how I can successfully live sober. The support staff I can’t say enough about. Tyler, Colin, Blake, Reid, Eugene, Kevin, Bryce , all shared generously their experience strength, and hope and made my experience a most positive and effective change of lifestyle. The location of the program also doesn’t hurt. Located just steps from the beach they made sure that we balanced our educational aspects as well as our recreational and physical aspects. They offered Yoga, Breath works and plenty of opportunities for outside events and activities. I am so indebted to Ocean Recovery for this new life that I’m embarking on. At my age, I thought my best years were behind me, but with the support and the direction and the example that I got from the staff and the people at Ocean Recovery I’m excited about my future.

I’m not proud to admit this but I’ve been to quite a few treatment centers through my years of battling addiction and alcoholism, and Oceans is by far the most beneficial one to me as a man trying to find his way and get my life back on track. They helped me develop a vital piece to my sobriety which is routine, and helped me get integrated back into the 12 steps which is the only thing that’s worked for me. My case manager Brian was phenomenal and you can tell he really wants to help as well as Matt, Danny and Reid. Danny and Reid have really helped me stay connected after leaving the program and Matt has been a supportive mentor throughout the entire process. If you are looking for treatment that is effective and the real deal, Ocean’s is it.

I spent 8 months at Pacific Shores Recovery the staff there are all human and they allowed me to be me without telling me where I had to go what I had to do how I had to do it I appreciate that they allowed me to make my own decisions and my recovery meant more to me I was only going to stay 30 days I ended up staying 8 months so just remember the place you go for recovery it's what you take from that place it's what you learn because your recovery is yours my recovery is mine it is not Pacific Shores it's my recovery I go to meetings I have a sponsor I work the steps and I do the next right thing and I continue to search for my Spiritual Awakening whatever that may be but this place allowed me to just be me with all the good and the bad and I came to the decisions that they wanted me to come to anyway so thank you pac shores for all that you have allowed me to do and for all the help you gave me along the way I will miss you all!! Many, if not all treatment centers say they have “highly individualized” care. This place actually does. They bend over backwards to get everyone the specific care they need. I needed an AA meeting every day and a ride to the gym. They brought me EVERY day. The staff at MHC is incredible with most of them being PHD level clinicians. But every one provides life changing therapy. EMDR, changed the way I thought. Trauma therapy told me that I make sense. DBT gave me the skills to handling anything. I wanted to die. I don’t anymore. They saved my life and there isn’t another place like it.

A great experience overall. Would love to specifically call out Doug, a therapist who works here. He, like so many other therapist at the MHC, did a really good job in individual sessions at really addressing the problem and being honest. It seems like he really cares about his patients and has been doing great work. Sarah as well. Those are the two I would reach out to call about.

Nsight saved my life…I started with them a year ago in their Residential program and worked my way down to outpatient because I didn’t want to leave my amazing individual therapist (Alex) along with the whole clinical team who had my back through my darkest times. I cannot thank Nsight enough for everything they have done- you can clearly tell the team/staff was there for the well being of the clients, not a paycheck (theyre the most caring and genuine people ever!). I love Nsight, from the bottom of my heart and I owe them my life<3

I'm embarrassed to say I had been to a few treatment centers before I was fortunate to be placed at Nsight, although I know that's true for many people who struggle with their mental health and addiction. If you experienced trauma during childhood or at any point in your life and it affects your mental health, or you're not even sure if it does but you struggle with addiction, Nsight is the place for you. There is no other treatment center like it. Their program, groups, counselors and housing are one of a kind. The environment is kept professional unlike many other facilities. The counselors are actually educated and experienced as well as empathetic and relationship based. Nsight is so different in so many ways from other treatment centers. Nsight saved and forever changed my life. It is through Nsight that I found myself. I graduated and walked out of their program a literally completely different and better person. I went home and my mom cried and said she had no idea this is who I am and that I am actually such a beautiful, kind and fun person. After struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction and other diagnosis that were inaccurate. I owe my life today to Nsight, their program and their counselors. I cannot recommend this program enough. If you're on the fence between choosing Nsight and another place - choose Nsight. You won't regret it.

I attended PACE almost 7 years ago to the day !! I would never have been able to quit using without their help. I was addicted to crystal meth and heroin for over 15 years. I never thought it would be possible to get sober !! PACE Saved my life. That is all.

When I entered PACE Recovery Center, I was very sick. I had been to many treatment centers to help with my addiction and mental health and nothing worked and I was beginning to lose hope. PACE returned that hope to my family and I. The facilities are clean, well kept, and are amazingly, I lived 4 blocks from the beach. The highlight of my recovery journey was the highly educated, knowledgable and caring staff employed by PACE. In contrast to other facilities I've attended, the staff at PACE want to be there, and want to help you. When I struggled, they were there for me, regardless of the time. I spent many nights on the phone with my incredible case manager, Chris Mortazavi, as well as the client advocate, Drew DelGaudio. Both of those individuals helped save my life, and the relationship I was able to form with them was well beyond anything advertised or expected from the facility. To summarize, PACE is an incredible program staffed by incredible men and women who will support you in this difficult stage of your life. I couldn't recommend it enough, and the changes PACE assisted me in have saved my life. A special thanks to all the staff I had the privilege of working with, specifically: Bowen Rizk, Brian Greenwald, Chris Mortazavi, Drew DelGaudio, Rita Yacoub, and Bryan Johnson. The list of people at PACE who positively impacted my life is much longer than this, these individuals are just a few who were especially involved in my treatment and recovery. I am leaving PACE with ambition, hope, and gratitude for my life.
