| Asana Recovery has many locations, including the outpatient clinic on Pomona Avenue in Costa Mesa, California. That location is only a 12-minute drive to Balboa Pier at the beach. Their outpatient treatment for adults includes a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP). These programs are for adu | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Life-Changing Experience at Asana Recovery
My journey with Asana Recovery has been nothing short of transformational. Walking through their doors, I wasn’t just another patient entering a treatment center—I was a person in need of compassion, structure, and genuine guidance. From the very beginning, the team at Asana made me feel seen, heard, and supported in a way that very few treatment centers truly deliver.
After just two months in recovery, I was given the incredible opportunity to become a house manager, which was a breathtaking experience. Not only did it deepen my recovery, but it allowed me to support others walking the same path. That chance to step into responsibility and service was life-changing, and it’s something I will always carry with me.
What sets Asana apart is the people. Jonathan and Linda, in particular, are shining examples of what makes this place extraordinary. Jonathan’s ability to connect with individuals on a deeply human level created a sense of trust that allowed me to open up and truly engage in the process. His wisdom, steadiness, and encouragement gave me tools that I will carry for the rest of my life. Linda’s presence is like a beacon—warm, nurturing, and absolutely unshakable. Her kindness and dedication went far beyond a “job”; it was clear she cares about every single person who comes through Asana’s program as if they were family.
And it isn’t just them—the entire Asana team embodies that same commitment. Whether it was the counselors guiding me through difficult conversations, the medical staff ensuring I was safe and cared for, or the support staff who brought positivity into every interaction, each person played an important role in making recovery feel possible. They created an environment that blended professionalism with heart, where structure and accountability were balanced with compassion and encouragement.
I’ve been to other facilities and spoken with countless people who have gone through recovery in different settings, and I can say without hesitation that Asana stands in a class of its own. Their approach is holistic, their community is genuine, and their impact is lasting.
To anyone considering Asana Recovery—whether for yourself or a loved one—know this: you will not just find treatment here; you will find hope, healing, and a family that will walk alongside you every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to Jonathan, Linda, and the entire Asana Recovery team for helping me reclaim my life.

| Tree House Recovery is located in Costa Mesa, California. It is a men's only addiction treatment facility. Insurance is accepted. Financing from a lender is also accepted. The men in treatment live together and share food and chores. You and the other residents are considered teammates. Every point of treatment is done together, except for one on o | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was dealing with severe cocaine and alcohol addiction. After serving in the military and coming home, I needed help. And I knew that the average rehab and recovery program wouldn’t work with me. I needed something challenging, something different. Treehouse provided that. With a wide range of different and unique approaches to treating addiction like challenging workouts, team building, riding waves on the beach of Costa Mesa on rafts with other men struggling with the same disease, addiction education to help me better understand my disease on a scientific level, and outdoor adventures like going camping, taking trips to cool beaches to surf at. This place isn’t just a recovery center, it’s a family. I am now 6 months sober and graduated the program and I couldn’t feel more grateful and proud of myself. And I know my family could say the same. Anyone struggling with addiction and looking for a program that heals you both mentally and physically NEEDS to give this place a shot.

My son has been struggling with alcohol for years which grew into a full blown addiction. He tried a 30-day program which didn't last. Only when we found Treehouse Recovery in Costa Mesa did we find a place that could really help him. The staff are exceptional and they have cared for our son's success long after he completed his program. If you or your son need help look no further.

I’ve been to so many treatment centers. I swore last time I relapsed I wouldn’t go back to another because there all the same. But I had a friend reach out and tell me about treehouse. They told me it was drastically different and maybe something to ge the off the hamster wheel of treatment. They came out and met me and vetted me and made me feel important when I felt as low as possible. This place isnt a place where they stick you in a room and make you do group from 9-5. They teach you how to live again. There is an education group on addiction but it’s only an hour. The rest of the time you’re doing therapy. Which is 4 times a week. Or your lifting, in the gym, or learning how to be social again. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to do something different and stay sober. This is the place.

I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement.
I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!

You’re reading this for a reason! Whatever that reason is, my hope is that when you finish you will seek help today, whether for yourself or someone you care for.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve read a few other reviews for treatment centers. At this point, you’re almost certainly tired of reading, “This place saved my life”, over and over and over. The phrase starts to lose gravity. The truth for me, however, is that SCC did not save my life. That would be too simple an explanation of what SCC did for me. SCC didn’t sanded my life, they armed me with the necessary weaponry to walk into battle, to save my own life, and to continue living with honesty, integrity, and self-worth.
SCC has something special. Whether you know it or not, you want it too, trust me. Some of the luxuries of private treatment are there, but that’s not it. What’s special at SCC is the authentic warmth, care, and concern of all the staff. Most of them are in recovery themselves, and ALL of them have been affected by addiction in some way or another and have chosen a path of helping others. This is reflected in the general attitude of the clients, and I can say that when i was there, I felt truly safe. I felt genuinely cared for, and I did not feel like a number or a dollar sign. That’s a huge deal! Just as huge a deal, is the clinical staff’s ability and knowledge, as well as their skill in delivery of information in a way that everyone can understand. The groups were super engaging and current. SCC is one of the few places that really understands the nature of group therapy, and does not execute it like a class or a lecture. Groups at SCC are interactive and interesting and there’s a healthy lean towards peer support and feedback.
Another thing that’s different about SCC, is that they accept private insurance, but they are also a nonprofit so they accept some different types of health insurance you might not expect, and sometimes they do things like scholarships for people in need of treatment that might not have the necessary resources. For example, when I was seeking treatment I had a difficult time finding a good treatment center that would take my health insurance because it was through Covered California. SCC was one of the few places that accepted my Blue Shield of CA PPO, and I know they also accepted my friends Blue Shield HMO too, which is amazing! The best thing I could suggest is if you’re in need of help, no matter what insurance you have, just call SCC and ask! The admissions women are outstanding human beings, and whether or not SCC is able to help you, they will help you find a place that’s right for you! That’s pretty incredible if you ask me.
Here’s the point… if you want to go to treatment and sit around and wait for them to save your life, don’t call SCC, but if you’re looking for a great group of people that care about what they do, if you’re thinking you might need a little help, and you’re willing to do a little work, SCC is your spot! The rewards you experience will be indescribable, I promise you that.

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.

I can't thank New Directions for Women enough for the care they provided my sister during her battle with heroin addiction. From the first phone call we made, they met us with kindness and compassion, at a time when we had quite honestly lost all hope.
Their focus on family involvement was pivotal, offering us support and guidance to heal together. The community atmosphere helped my sister to confront her challenges and embrace lasting change. Yellowstone Recovery has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. When I arrived, I was broken, lost, and unsure if I could ever find a way out of the cycle I was trapped in. I came in as a scholarship girl, but from the very beginning, I was treated with the same love, respect, and opportunity as everyone else. They didn’t see me as less than—they saw my potential, even when I couldn’t see it myself.
One of the most impactful parts of my journey was learning what true recovery looks like. Honey played a huge role in that by teaching me the fundamentals: getting a sponsor, working the steps, and giving back what was so freely given to me. These weren’t just words or suggestions—they were a blueprint for a new way of life, one that would not only save me but allow me to help others along the way.
Yellowstone didn’t just help me get sober; they helped me build a life worth living. Today, I have a family, both in my personal life and in the fellowship of AA. I volunteer, I have a sponsor, and I sponsor others, all because of the foundation that was laid for me here. This program didn’t just save my life—it gave me a purpose.
For anyone who is struggling and feels like there’s no way out, I can say with all my heart that recovery is possible. Yellowstone Recovery gave me the tools, the support, and the love I needed to find my way, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Costa Mesa, California | The Recovery Center is part of Nancy Clark & Associates. The facility is located in Costa Mesa, California. It is a probation approved residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. This is an alternative sentencing program for individuals with substance abuse issues. They accept most private insurance. They are also able to work with you if | Treatments Programs Payment Options | OCRC was my first experience in residential treatment. Well, my first treatment in anything addiction related. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Facilities - fantastic, including large communal living area w/ live and streaming television, mixed-use garage for group therapy, yoga, sound healing, kickboxing, drama therapy, acupuncture etc., full-service kitchen and dining area, outdoor pool/hot-tub, grill, etc., and very nice client rooms. Pro Tip: if able, stake your claim on the second story single occupant room across from the therapist office/laundry (it made my stay that much better).
Sessions/Activities - fantastic, upon arrival it can be a bit daunting to be away from your previous non-treatment life for an extended period of time. OCRC creates an incredible balance between activities (group therapy, yoga, sound healing, kickboxing, drama therapy, acupuncture, morning reflections, end-of-day reflections, and so forth) and personal freedom for normal life activities like reading, listing to music (the staff loved my morning jazz lol), watching some tube (sports, streaming shows, whatever), hanging out back on the patio including swimming and hot tub, arts and crafts (sounds corny but I created a drawing that I'll be hanging in my house as a subtle reminder of my transformation), and general kicking back. The group therapy was my favorite. I was fortunate to have 6 clients in the house at its peak, of which had a good range of age, background, experiences but all focused on the same mission. We had some damn good group therapy sessions.
Staff - superb/excellent, from operations, to nursing, therapy. I would describe the staff as very multi-dimensional. Each staff member brings a different personality and perspective to the job. Each style creates a more dynamic treatment environment which I think contributes more positively than if all staff were one-and-the-same. It's hard to list all but here goes, Matt (superhero), Tami, Liz, Jake, Grace, Marie (watch out for her brownies), Lou (my go-to for all-things sports), Christian, Austin, Emily, Angie, Damian, Halie (loves jazz lol), Jacob (funny, dry funny, hilarious), Brian (totally and unequivocally authentic and has a deep care and passion for the mission of the OCRC clients), "D", and last but not least Justin. Special shoutout to Justin. He's a total swiss army knife of the house tech operation, a great listener for early risers, and an overall tremendous person.
Overall, I couldn't recommend OCRC more. The tools and weaponry these guys armor you up with for life-after is game-changing.

OCRC was an incredibly positive and life changing experience for me! The staff was extremely friendly, compassionate, helpful and knowledgeable. They geniunely care about their clients getting better and do their best to support their recovery goals. The house is beautiful, peaceful, safe, clean and comfortable with a great pool. It only houses 6 clients at the most, so we all received a huge amount of individual care, we didn't feel overcrowded and they were able to cater to all our our different needs. There are nurses and techs there 24-7 to help. I thoroughy enjoyed the private counseling, group therapy, life skills/recovery and exercise classes like yoga and boxing. I learned about the nature, science, and causes of addiction, as well as many new healthy coping strategies to replace drugs and alcohol. Everything they teach is solution based, that actually works to create a much better life! We also got to do several fun outings, along with going to different AA meetings daily. There was enough programming and activities to keep us busy, not bored, but not too much to overwelm and stress us out. They treated us with kindness and respect, not like prisoners. They fed us very well and helped us with our legal and medical issues. I'm 51 days sober today, happy, healthy, at peace and eternally grateful for this program! It was so much better than I expected and I was actualy sad to leave. They also referred me to a wonderful IOP aftercare program. Shout out to Tami, Grace, Lou, Matt, Jake, Liz, Damien, both Angies, Emily, Marie, Shonda, Justin, Christian, Austin, and D! Thank you all so much!!! I definitely could not have done it on my own!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. The staff was absolutely amazing—compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly committed to helping people heal. I came in with significant health issues, and they went above and beyond to address and accommodate every one of them with care and respect.
More importantly, they helped shift my entire perspective. Through their guidance and support, I found my path to sobriety. I’m leaving not only healthier, but with a renewed sense of purpose and hope. I will be forever grateful for what they’ve done for me.
A very special thank you to Katie, David, Katilyn, Bret, Theo, and Dillian—you each made a lasting impact on my journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

When I entered PACE Recovery Center, I was very sick. I had been to many treatment centers to help with my addiction and mental health and nothing worked and I was beginning to lose hope. PACE returned that hope to my family and I. The facilities are clean, well kept, and are amazingly, I lived 4 blocks from the beach. The highlight of my recovery journey was the highly educated, knowledgable and caring staff employed by PACE. In contrast to other facilities I've attended, the staff at PACE want to be there, and want to help you. When I struggled, they were there for me, regardless of the time. I spent many nights on the phone with my incredible case manager, Chris Mortazavi, as well as the client advocate, Drew DelGaudio. Both of those individuals helped save my life, and the relationship I was able to form with them was well beyond anything advertised or expected from the facility.
To summarize, PACE is an incredible program staffed by incredible men and women who will support you in this difficult stage of your life. I couldn't recommend it enough, and the changes PACE assisted me in have saved my life.
A special thanks to all the staff I had the privilege of working with, specifically:
Bowen Rizk, Brian Greenwald, Chris Mortazavi, Drew DelGaudio, Rita Yacoub, and Bryan Johnson. The list of people at PACE who positively impacted my life is much longer than this, these individuals are just a few who were especially involved in my treatment and recovery.
I am leaving PACE with ambition, hope, and gratitude for my life.

This place is legit. There are a lot of places in Orange County that are total scams, but Clean Path is not one of them. The staff truly believe in what they are doing, and they’re enthusiastic and empathetic. It’s a dual-diagnosis rehab, meaning that unlike other places they take people who have severe mental issues in addition to addiction. They take the concerns of patients seriously - in my time there two employees were let go for not treating us patients with dignity and respect. Aldo, the guy who seems to be in charge, is a really cool guy who you can feel comfortable sitting down and talking to. The therapists are great, and individual therapy is offered on a regular basis. I will say that it can be pretty crowded and for the first few days there it takes a lot of adjusting - the groups might be so loud, with so many people talking, that it can cause sensory overload. But you quickly get used to it. Every Friday they took us to the beach, every weekend they took us to the movies, and every week they took us bowling. I met some of my favorite people in the world while I was there, and as strange as it seems I really enjoyed my time there. The therapy that I got taught me how to love myself. I really love this place. My only complaint is that it’s too crowded and they don’t provide enough of a balanced diet for the patients.

I'm leaving with the confidence that I can overcome the depression and anxiety that has been crippling me for the past several years.. My therapist Paul was a critical part of this journey and I'm grateful to have been in his care. Also, I can't say enough about the entire staff at this facilify. It's obvious they truly care about what they do and I felt that from the very first day in treatment. I would recommend D'Amore to anyone that is suffering in silence and doesn't know how to find a way through the pain.

This review is for their residential program. Tysm D'Amore for helping me recover. They really helped me through my trauma. The staff are very caring and they try everything they can to keep patients happy. Everyone was so kind and even though the food wasn't the healthiest, they make sure you are fed well everyday. The BHTS always check on you and are there to listen to you if you are having a bad day.

I was suicidal when admitted. Although I have lent complete the program yet I’m compelled yo write a review.
Sweet and brief: I cannot express clearly with words how impressed I have been with every single person affiliated with the program. Top to bottom you will find genuine, caring people all with great smiles.
Just the other day I described to my therapist Paul my feelings that “I’ve had some of the best days of my life” in their care!
As strange as that might sound it’s the absolute truth. I feel like I’m being reincarnated into the person inside me that’s been hurt and hiding for a lifetime.
I’m so grateful for the personal discoveries!

Has anybody been here and recovered from fentanyl addiction? If so, what is the program like and what did they use for the detoxification? How long was your wait? Period and what did they use Suboxone Subutex? I’m just asking because I’ve been to so many treatment centers and they have all different approaches so I am just wondering what the approach is here at this treatment center, please and thank you.

This program is amazing!!! The staff is caring, attentive, and truly have passion for what they do. From dealing with mental issues to teaching you about substance abuse. They give you the tools and knowledge to succeed. Give you many options for next level of treatment and help you get there. Gym 3 times a week, outside AA meetings, in-house panels, zoo, the beaches, and putt putt golf are only a few of the activities we did. My son went to Lead Recovery and he had an amazing case worker! Roger, was very kind and caring and did everything he could to give my son all the tools he needed. Unfortunately, my son needed a higher level of care, so it didn’t work out for him there, however, it was not for lack of care or trying! Roger went above and beyond!
