Asana Recovery’s couples program is one of the best we’ve experienced. The location is great and conveniently close to the Pacific Ocean, which adds to the calming atmosphere. The therapists were extremely helpful and provided excellent couples therapy. The environment was very comfortable, everyone was relaxed, and it truly felt like a peaceful, healing place.

My time here has been an experience I’ll never forget, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people who made it what it was.
The staff were absolutely amazing. I especially want to recognize Tom, who went above and beyond and had a real impact on my experience here. I also want to give a huge thank you to Chuck, Adam, Cruz, Kolby, and Chef for everything they do every day. Each of them brought something different to the table, and I genuinely appreciate the care, patience, and support they showed me.
Bobby has done an incredible job building and leading the coaching staff. You can tell that the people here genuinely care about the individuals they work with. They don’t just make you feel like another person going through a program. they make you feel seen, heard, valued, and respected.
This place challenged me, helped me grow, and gave me memories and relationships that I’ll carry with me long after leaving. I’m leaving with a deeper appreciation for myself, for the people around me, and for the importance of allowing others to be part of your journey.
I’m truly grateful for my time here and for every person who played a role in it. I couldn’t recommend this place and this team enough.

I arrived at Opus seeking treatment primarily for my addiction to Kratom and Alcohol, and was also equally hoping to find solutions for my anxiety and depression. What I received in 30 days “far” exceeded my expectations.
From the moment I arrived I was met with warmth, kindness, and an implied sense of understanding I hadn’t expected. Although a little apprehensive initially, I felt I had arrived at the right place. Having felt for so long that no one could possibly understand me or the complexities I had been dealing with, I was somewhat taken back by how quickly I’d be relieved of that burden and begin to build trust in the members of the staff. Speaking of which, each member of the staff always made me feel welcome, cared for, and that they were motivated to make my stay as comfortable and productive as possible. Their insights and expertise they would share at the group sessions (and when I’d speak to them individually) always left me better than when I arrived.
I will forever be grateful for the Opus team. I believe not only have they changed my life for the better but set me on an entirely new trajectory to make the most of my future. Some of the staff left an especially big impression impression on my heart, for various reasons(in no particular order), including Cheryl, Manny, Dr. David, Dr. S, Dr. Tenney, Trayce, Andrew, Tommy, Gabe, Todd, Adrian, “Chef,” Candace, Maribel, Shugar, and others. Thank you Opus for making me feel like family and I will never forget you.

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.

They don't just give you the information but they teach you what to do with it. It's also a deep dive into your own mind and life to show yourself YOU and help you understand your life mind and emotions so you can understand yourself. They then teach you what to do with your new understanding and how to incorporate it into everyday life so that you never have to come back to this point I. You're life again. Choosing this program for my son was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
From the very first phone call to the day he completed the program, the care, compassion, and professionalism we experienced were truly exceptional. The admissions team took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, the services offered, and the support my son would receive. That level of transparency immediately gave me confidence that I was making the right choice.
When arriving to the facility, Justin, the Program Manager, was waiting outside to greet us. As a mother, I was overwhelmed with worry, but Justin's kindness, reassurance, and genuine compassion immediately eased my anxiety. He made me and my son feel safe and made me feel I was leaving my son in the hands of people who truly cared about his recovery.
Throughout my son's stay, I was always able to call to check on him and visit during family visitation, which meant so much to me. Knowing I could stay connected gave me tremendous peace of mind.
There are several staff members who went above and beyond and deserve special recognition. Justin, Nursing staff member Lou, Jeremiah, Mike, Austin, Salina, and the Technicians Damion, Isabelle, and Brian each played an incredible role in my son's recovery. Their patience, encouragement, compassion, and unwavering support made a lasting impact on him. They didn't just do their jobs—they genuinely cared, and it showed every single day.
Watching the positive transformation in my son has been nothing short of amazing. He left this program with hope, confidence, valuable tools for recovery, and a new outlook on life. As a parent, there are no words that can fully express my gratitude.
I will be forever thankful to everyone at this program for the powerful impact they have made on my son's life. They gave him more than treatment—they gave him hope, a fresh start, and the opportunity to build a better future. I will always be grateful for the care and dedication they showed our family.

The staff at Beginnings Treatment Centers combine evidence-based drug and alcohol addict | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Where do I start with beginnings of so nervous to go? I got picked up by Stephanie show me be OK I was gonna do great here and then when I got there, it just seemed like everybody I met all the staff house managers all the way up. We’re great that one time that I ever need to speak to somebody and they turn me away that one time that I need anything that they turned me away and said no if it was in reason I went through a death while I was in there my cousin had passed away, and I struggled with leaving or staying. My heart was heavy and they allowed me to keep my phone that night to be able to talk to my family and work through it and then the next day they talk to me and they also in the right place I struggled with that, but then I realized pretty quick that had I been at home I probably wouldn’t have been no good anyway to him or anybody else and that he would probably be happier with me being where I was so I got through in this place. It was the first time that I never worried about my days and when I was going home and I remember when Jeremy, my case manager came to me and said I only had eight more days left freaked me out so damn I thought I had 15. I told him it wasn’t ready. I didn’t know what I was gonna do so they all worked on it and got me to stay well they made away for me to be able to stay to my insurance and I was there I believe around 45 days maybe a little more it was crazy cause I still wasn’t ready to go. I went in and I talked to Mary and Heather and they both told me that I was gonna do great and then I was doing amazing there and that I didn’t have to be afraid I made it past the hard part now I just need to look forward to the future and if I stayed on the right path that I was gonna do great things I used to go in and talk to Dylan also and he would tell me the same thing like bro you’ve been here and you’ve been no trouble and all she do is just try. You got easier being able to tell the truth and I think that’s what made it. Such a good stay is that I had nothing that I was hiding. I didn’t understand a lot of the things that they did like keeping Us inside, but when I finally asked, they explained that this was only to get us started to show us how to do things like go to meetings get comfortable with going to meetings. You’re comfortable with learning how to cook for ourselves and clean some of us haven’t done that by ourselves. They showed me that they really care and if you go in there with an open mind that is ready to change and once you walked through that door, leave the bullshit outside and that’s what I did. I didn’t get cured from that place but I sure got a good outlook on things and I got to go through things like a death and I faced it sober with all my feelings being so vulnerable and yet waking up the next day with such a calmness and so thankful for beginnings if you’re ready, really ready to stop the madness and not wait till you’re 52 and older it’s not that that’s a bad thing. Just I know how I feel about it. I truly recommend this place to anybody in the name is fitting because you start all over. It’s what I felt like anyway from the beginning I made friendships also not all but a lot it was crazy. I just wanna say this for the last thing but I had such a good time even in my ups and downs so thank you to all the staff at beginnings for your patience you’re caring hearts And most of all the love that you showed me you guys are awesome. Keep up the great work thank you love and always will remember you guys Richard.

I can’t thank everyone at this rehab enough for everything they did for me. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect, compassion, and genuine care. Recovery isn’t easy, but having people who truly believe in you makes all the difference.
A huge shout-out to Jeremy, David, Theo, and Brett. Each of you played a part in helping me stay focused, supported me through the difficult days, and reminded me that change is possible. Your patience, encouragement, and willingness to listen meant more than you probably realize.
If you’re looking for a place where the staff genuinely care about your recovery and want to see you succeed, I highly recommend this program. Thank you for helping me build a stronger foundation for my future.

I can’t say enough good things about Beginnings. I had been trying to get sober for a long time, and I can honestly say that Beginnings gave me the foundation, hope, tools, and confidence I needed to fight for my sobriety—and to keep it.
Stephanie coordinated my arrival, and she was incredible from the very beginning. She was encouraging, compassionate, and helped me with everything I needed to make the transition into treatment as smooth as possible.
Bret and David are caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely empathetic. They stood by me through all the emotions that come with early sobriety. They truly care about their clients and will do everything they can to help them succeed.
The techs, who we spent the most time with, were simply the best. They showed me what it means to work a strong recovery program and proved that the promises really do come true if you’re willing to put in the work. They inspired me and helped me believe that I could build the life I wanted in recovery.
The counselors were amazing as well. I learned so much about addiction, mental health, and myself. They encouraged me to feel my emotions instead of running from them and taught me that I could work through difficult moments without drinking.
Today, I am stronger than I’ve ever been because of the care, support, and guidance I received at Beginnings. I will always be grateful for the impact this program has had on my life.
If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend Beginnings. They truly changed my life. Thank you, Beginnings, for giving me a second chance.

Costa Mesa, CA | Pace Recovery Center in Costa Mesa, California, is an organization that has provided addiction treatment for men since 2012. Clients have access to mental health services that help them recognize the root cause of their substance abuse. They apply evidence based therapies to treat mental health conditions that contribute to addiction, such as traum | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve worked in addiction and crisis intervention for over 30 years — I’ve seen the full spectrum of treatment, the good, the bad, and the predatory. I refer clients to Pace regularly, and I’ve also trusted them with my own family. That second part tells you everything.
What separates Pace is clinical integrity. They don’t overpromise to close admissions, they don’t warehouse people, and they don’t treat discharge as the finish line. The staff communicates with referring professionals in a way that’s respectful, timely, and substantive — rarer than it should be in this industry.
The treatment is genuinely individualized, the dual diagnosis work is solid, and the continuum of care planning is among the best I’ve encountered at any level of care.
Newport Beach is a beautiful setting, but what keeps me sending people there isn’t the location — it’s the outcomes and the trust built over many years and many cases. One of the few places I recommend without hesitation.

Pace Recovery is truly a special place. The team is incredibly heart centered, ethical, and deeply committed to their residents. Their dual diagnosis work is exceptional and the fact that they offer a gender specific program for men makes their approach feel even more intentional.
It’s clear that so much care and compassion goes into everything they do. They have built a wonderful reputation for a reason and I would wholeheartedly trust them with a loved one in need of support!

Moving from rehab to sober living was extremely nerve racking, however from the moment I walked into the house and had my intake to today, it has been a great experience as I go out into this “brave new world.” From my house manager Rusty (who has extremely high standards) , is incredibly kind not only to myself and the other residents however his expectations are very reasonable which requires respect, responsibility and keeping the house in order. In addition, Alfonso has been a nothing but responsive and completely transparent in all of my interactions. As the extension initiative has been launched, Heike has been absolutely great! She is extremely professional, polite and empathetic, which has made this “fluid” process much easier, even going so far as offering to speak with my housing navigator on my behalf. I would highly recommend Cleanpath to all potential residents as it instills kindness, taking ownership and accountability for oneself which will prepare you for the next phase of your journey.

I attended Clean Path in 2018, and they were amazing. The staff were so sweet, and I bonded with every single one of them. The therapist was the best one I’d ever encountered(I saw many throughout my life) and helped me get to the root cause of my addiction. I am proud to say I have been clean and sober since.

Costa Mesa, CA | Hotel California by the Sea–Sandy’s Place is a luxury, 12 step-focused drug and alcohol rehab and dual diagnosis care facility for adult women, in Costa Mesa, California. They offer crisis intervention services, medically supervised detox, short and long-term residential care, and aftercare planning and support. Dedicated services are available | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I had a really positive experience at this rehab center. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was genuinely cared for and treated with respect. What stood out to me most was that they respected our freedom and independence while still providing the structure and support we needed.
They also went above and beyond to make the experience feel less like being confined to a facility and more like being part of a community. We had outings that included kayaking, going to the movies, golfing, and boating.
One of my favorite experiences was going out on the boat with one of the owners, Roman. He made those outings something I genuinely looked forward to. Being out on the water, having good conversations, and simply being able to enjoy a normal day outside made a huge difference for me. Roman was very down-to-earth and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed.
I’m grateful for the way I was treated there. The combination of genuine care, respect, freedom, and opportunities to get out and enjoy life made my experience much more positive than I expected. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a rehab center where they’ll be treated like a person, not just a patient.

My therapist, Valerie, was kind and open minded. I felt comfortable and enjoyed my sessions throughly. The D’More psychiatrist, Dr El, was the best I have ever had, after being a patient of many psychiatrists over the years. The staff were excellent. I was made to feel at home and non judged. . The sessions covered all therapies I needed to help me leave a well functioning and stable, content human being. The medical team was efficient and kind. I felt safe at D’More. D'Amore Healthcare holds a special place in my heart. When I walked through their doors I was at the most vulnerable point of my life. I'm leaving with the confidence that I can overcome the depression and anxiety that has been crippling me for the past several years.. My therapist Paul was a critical part of this journey and I'm grateful to have been in his care. Also, I can't say enough about the entire staff at this facilify. It's obvious they truly care about what they do and I felt that from the very first day in treatment. I would recommend D'Amore to anyone that is suffering in silence and doesn't know how to find a way through the pain.
