I was fishing with my family and got a treble hook in my finger. I was greeted at the White City VA by friendly helpful staff and was in surgery within minutes. Dr Demas removed the hook without damaging my tendons and required no stitches. I want to personally thank the White City VA, Dr. Demas, emergency nurse and front end staff for the excellent care you gave me and my family during a very trying time.

I have received the best of care with the VA since moving to this area in 2009. I also had a bilateral hernia repair at the VA Hospital in Roseburg. The doctor who did the surgery met with me both pre and post op and answered all my questions. I have been assigned to a medical team in White City and also seeing a primary care doctor contracted with the VA. I work in mental health and know how to advocate for myself. I also know how the system works and follow up on all referrals and authorizations. This has made a difference in my care. My primary refers me to specialists whenever I need it. I don't know what some vets experience but I have only praise for the VA staff.

The people at empire actually care about our recovery they are other addicts who have been there and relate on my level. I wouldn't pick any were else it's the best rehab as far as I'm concerned.

U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass is a truly unique and effective place for those genuinely seeking to move forward from lives of addiction and self-destruction. We have seen the life of a family member, who had been in a death-spiral for nearly 30 years, be transformed into something amazing. I had the opportunity to visit the U-Turn ranch, talk with the men there working toward restoration, and seeing the unbelievable results of what a Christ-centered recovery environment has accomplished. Not only have the lives of these men been radically changed for their own good and the good of our society, but the impact to the extended families (moms, dads, siblings, children, etc.) has been phenomenal. Some reviews I've read are critical of the methods employed at the ranch. Having served in the US Military, however, gives one the wisdom and understanding that some men are more stubborn than the average person and often choose the harder road. In my experience, these men that have suffered long term addictions, homelessness, abuse and even prison time, generally do not change when the road to recovery is easy. U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass doesn't offer the easy recovery road. They do, however, offer enormous love and compassion for those who choose the hard path to recovery. None of these men are forced to stay at the ranch - they do so voluntarily. Our family member need several attempts to complete the program without giving up. But what dramatic and wonderful results we have seen as we saw Jesus break through all of the tough outward defenses and form a new man, even to become a leader of others struggling as he had. A modern-day miracle! We are deeply grateful to the many who have worked tirelessly to help these men. A special shout-out to Calvary Chapel Grants Pass and to those who are storing up treasures in Heaven as they see lives transformed directly due to their efforts. What they don't often see are the dozens of lives that are touched through each of the men they help. Families are healed in ways no ordinary rehab program can accomplish. U-Turn for Christ is exactly what it says: make a u-turn on the road leading to death and start traveling on the road leading to life.

DUI and DUI related incidents are truly world shaking and embarrassing. It can be shameful, it can be something you don’t want to think you are capable of. These women that run this program welcome you with open arms and reassure you that your situation does not define you and needing help with alcohol/drug use is not in fact shameful, it’s a decision you make to better yourself that you should be proud of! Tinamarie, Tanisha, and Katie will be your biggest cheerleaders. At first this program was mandatory, and now with their support, I’m aware I’m fully capable of being a better person and being better for it sober! Thank you ladies thank you for doing what you do, I don’t know where this community would be without you ♥️

ADAPT is the best place to get clean and to recover from any substance abuse problem or any insecurity you might have. I went there a few years ago, and I can say thanks to them. I'm sober today, and I love looking at myself in the mirror but most important I love myself

Adapt is a very compassionate, client focused, individualized treatment agency. They have been around a long time and do their best to help someone when they are struggling through hard times. The program director and staff are the greatest around and I have been very thankful for the services they offer.

I've been there when it was a 1 star and I've been there when it was a 5 star. It also depends on where you are in your addiction and how much you want recovery. The ARC has saved thousands of people's lives. They can change your if you let them. Stop resisting and just submit. All that weight will be lifted from your shoulders and you can start walking with your head held high.

My daughter was drug addicted, homeless and went to prison. Teen Challenge sent representatives to the prison and she made a decision for sobriety. She has been clean over ten years, has a college education and works with women with life controlling issues. This program gave her hope and gave me my daughter back.

Choices was the best decision I've ever made. Walking thru those doors changed my life. Those individuals, each and everyone of them are the most careing people i know. Thank you for saving my life..

Amazing staff great environment

there are nice counselors there, who are usually ready to work with their clients to teach them how to cope with life's ups & downs instead of relying on substances to get thru the day. if things arent working out with 1 counselor, dont give up on treatment! you can switch counselors with no problem. its worth it to maintain a support system that can increase your chances of staying away from problem drinking or any other addiction that may be plaguing your life.

These people have completely turned my life around. I was in such a horrible spot in my life and I didn't even realize it until I opened up and started accepting the reality that they recognized and brought to my attention. I was never able to open up to anybody, even through years and years of counseling. But it's only effective if you can be honest with yourself and your counselor. You can trust them, and they will go out of your way to help you. Their motto is counseling from the heart and it is a truly fitting of their goals. They care about you as a person, not as a client, and will go out of their way to help you anyway they can. I've recently graduated after over a year of attending, and I feel accomplished and proud, but at the same time I also am sad to have graduated. I will miss the support they have given me, but also have the option of attending other support groups now that I have graduated. I have obtained coping skills I never knew I had, and for once I feel that I am in control of my life no matter what obstacles may occur.
