I have been a patient here for a few years and have had to switch to a new practioner a few times due to their leaving the practice. That being said I'm always greeted at the front with a friendly smile and that means a lot! Dr. Ben is great and such a breath of fresh air. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be listened to and not rushed. He listens and I believe is an asset to this practice. I know he's on a 6 month contract but I hope he decides to stay!

Today 8/1/2025 marks one year of sobriety. One year ago today I entered Elevate in Santa Cruz to start my detox from alcohol. A week later I relocated to the South Lake Tahoe facility. CRC saved my life; there is no denying that. I reached out on a Friday morning and the intake team connected to me within 30 minutes. From that moment forward I have been in their care from detox through IOP and soon into alumni! Every step of the way the CRC staff - counselors, case managers, chef (yes there is a chef and he is AMAZING!!!!), billing, therapists, and leadership - were and are still around to support my recovery. I came in thinking that I only had a substance issue, but through the careful, methodical, and diligent work I came to understand the hopelessness which I was in as well as the sweet possibilities of my future in long term recovery. They connected me external resources and even helped me find a place to live after residential. When I say I love this organization and everything they do I mean it. I was blessed with the care and love of people who wanted no more for me then to help. Supported by people who lived to the tell tale and pass on their knowledge as all great humans do.
My goal in entering recovery for my first time was to marry my recovery and sobriety. I was nervous and scared because I thought I wouldn’t have fun nor be fun anymore - I was wrong. The man I am today forward took his first steps out of this facility with the strength, knowledge, belief, and love that he never knew existed because of CRC. Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. I like this place. And all the staff. The counselor actually care and WANT to help you. I’m not sure why it has 3 stars, because this is a location trying to help recoverin addicts like myself. Only down fall is the wait, for certain things, but thats only at the beginning when you register as a PT there because of all the paperwork and stuff you have to do. Also they provide lots of help. Counseling. Help getting a primary doctor. They care about you and your needs and I love that about them. They are awesome. 10/10

I have been to 8 treatment centers from Sacramento to Michigan and I can honestly say that skyway house has been the best treatment that I have received BY FAR. The counselors Andy, Veronica, and Madeline actually really care and aren't there for the paycheck. They take an active role in every clients recovery weather they are your counselor or not. The support staff is top notch as well. I came in with virtually nothing. Taylor and Amy and Ajanna literally helped save my life. From listening to my problems to playing cards with me and loaning me books to read. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful place.

This is actually the best Clinic I've ever been to Thomas has been the best counselor I've had I was at ages before as well but due to getting ran over by a car I was put back on opiate medications and well any addict knows what happens after that when I returned to ages I went through a plethora of counselors but Thomas was solid and stuck around when I came to him I had 14 take homes and lost them because I fell off. Thank God I had Thomas as a counselor he held me accountable for my actions was patient and gentle and see me through my relapse now I have six take homes and I'm doing way better I really believe that if Thomas wasn't my counselor during my relapse I wouldn't be clean right now because of the way he handled the situation allow me to trust him take his advice and now I've been clean for almost 4 months now thank you Thomas and thank you Aegis for employing Thomas.

I’m so grateful for this facility and their amazing staff. I need immediate help and they gave me every resource possible to help me feel stable. Group therapy multiple times a day, fed breakfast, lunch and dinner (actual decent meals), peaceful environment, you get your own room, I can keep going. I was hesitant to go, but was pleasantly surprised. If you or someone you love is struggling, I highly recommend this facility. Thank you again to the amazing staff!

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany.
Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone.
To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. People like this help you navigate through life and I am blessed to have participated and connected with people of this caliber. Thank you.

This place changed the way I view my recovery. Although a lot about it has changed in the last few years, the staff here still really do care about you. I’ve been to a lot of other places like this before and hands down this is the best.

There are not words to describe the care and compassion I have experienced.. I recently called to discuss treatment for a dear friend of mine who is struggling with alcohol use. Haley is the outreach coordinator I spoke with and she was so caring and kind. She talked with me about all the options and listened to everything I said. We then worked with heather who was also amazing and not pushy in any way. We ended up going another direction with his care but know in our hearts that they will be our GO TO if or when he is ready for this journey. As someone who works in the field I know this can be such a difficult time for people and now having watched my absolute best friend struggle I can honestly say they handled everything with such grace. Thank you for your care and compassion New Dawn. I truly appreciate it.

Amazing facility. The therapists and counselors were very attentive and caring. Going to treatment is one of the hardest things a person will have to do in their life and they made my stat much easier than they had to.
The variety of classes they expose you to makes it a lot easier to understand that there is no one right way to get better, and that you have to find what works for you.
