About Psychiatric Care Center

The intensive outpatient program has two separate tracks, which include the substance use disorder and dual diagnosis track, and the mental health track. Both programs are age-specific, separating adolescents from adults. The programs meet for three hours a day, three days a week, for ten weeks. A psychiatrist oversees the programs. Individuals will receive testing and a diagnosis, transcranial magnetic stimulation if needed, medication management if needed, individual therapy, group therapy, and supplements and nutritional support.

Once individuals complete the intensive outpatient program, they are eligible for the aftercare program. This program allows for a step-down process where the frequency of treatment reduces to one time a week on average. Clients can engage in mental health therapy, support groups, and recovery groups.

Psychiatric Care Center accepts most major medical insurance plans, including Ambetter, Humana, Brightstar Health, Cigna, Beacon, Wellmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ComPsych, Tricare, and more. Out-of-network benefits may vary.

I’ve been a PCC client for years now, not once have I had any complaints about the care or services I receive. An efficient office with great care providers like Dani Huber is why I stay with PCC. Dani is great and easy to talk to and has my best interests in mind, all the time.

I am old enough now to understand that mental health does not need to be an embarrassing issue. Mental health issues affect many more people than you probably realize. For me, I inherited half of my mother‘s manic depression, and she was a severe manic depressive. She was often hospitalized shock treatments in the whole works. I inherited a milder form of the depressive side and It started when I was in my mid 40s. After a series of different medicines and approaches, I landed on one that kept me stable, but I didn’t realize that it was also keeping me much more low-key than my actual personality. Due to a number of different circumstances, I really pushed to change medicines and that’s when I met Dr. Nicole Montgomery. What I found so refreshing was that she actually listened to my thoughts about what was happening and was willing to try some of my ideas that I had developed over time about what might be good. She came up with a plan and I am very happy with the results. I’m no longer held at a flat level. I experience way more joy and have way more fun and see life through much more positive lens. One of the phrases Jackie would use when I was on the other medicine was I wish your outside would match your inside. I would be happy, but I would also be flat. I am a much happier person now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very discreet. And though I know that’s important to many people I am just not gonna be embarrassed about something. I have no control over. Mental health awareness is an important issue many people suffer without feeling able to address it. I hope if this helps one person to address whatever issue mentally they’re struggling with then I will be happy.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Rehab aftercare programs offer clients in addiction recovery a robust continuum of care after clients have completed active treatment. These services address recovery as a life-long process and are designed to evolve with clients' changing needs. Clients may partner with their case managers and/or addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services that are right for them. They may receive career counseling, housing assistance, peer coaching, 12 step program induction, among many other services.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Individual therapy for drug addiction includes a customized treatment plan that considers your history and life circumstances. During your therapy sessions, the therapist helps you uncover underlying issues and triggers for addictive behavior that support a holistic approach to recovery.
