Hi I went through the Singing Trees Recovery program in 2001. The experience was so spiritual. I am an addict and they helped me get clean, stay clean, and so much more! I got to meet myself for the first time in a Long time not to mention some good people whom I call my Friends and my 2nd Family I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs help! The staff are excellent and have all been in my shoes at one time their life so they counsel with real experience on your level not just out of a text book. Because they have a story too. I learned a whole new way of life. You can get so much out of this program if you want it. Thank You So Much Singing Trees And all that's within It. Mrs Judy Cain-Harris ( then) (Now 8/2024) Ms Judy Harris Martin Johns PS The Trees really Sing I can't wait to visit again since it opened back up now. The Medical Care provided by the VA Health Care Department is superb. It is the best benefit an honorably discharged or disabled veteran gets for their time in the military. So much better then medicare or medicaid. They will provide the best medical care it's possible to get any where and if they can't, they will find out who can and send you there. I'm glad I'm a vet who's got full VA Medical coverage and wish every one in the USA had access to this kind of medical care.

I've been to many detox and recovery programs over the years, and Ford Street Project gave me one of the best experiences I've had. They made me feel like part of a big family, not scrutinized over every little thing like at other places, such as HRC. The only drawbacks were the sleeping arrangements and the mattresses, but that's easily fixed with a personal mattress pad for extra comfort. The men and women are housed separately in large dormitories with partitions, so you still have a sense of personal space. This setup helped me bond with the other women, making us feel closer. Maybe I was lucky to have been with serious, committed individuals, but I know the staff would have addressed any issues if they had arisen amongst the roomates. Aside from the sleeping conditions, I absolutely loved this place. Even with the sleeping arrangements being a little rough it is absolutely still totally worth it and just by bringing an extra mattress pad from home u have turned an uncomfortable situation into one completely bearable. Also, you can smoke anytime, which is great when you're up half the night detoxing and don't want to be locked in with an alarm set at 9 PM. If you're considering this place for detox, bring a comfy mattress pad and give them a try—they're awesome and made me feel at home. Thanks, Ford Street Project!

Hello, I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to everyone at Duffys who helped me when I needed it most. I’m incredibly grateful to the admissions team, my counselor Alisha, the tech staff, and the CEO for making it possible for me to receive a scholarship and enter treatment. When I first reached out, I was in a really difficult place. I was homeless in the Tenderloin, had no money, no insurance, and honestly felt completely hopeless. Duffys gave me an opportunity that I would not have had otherwise. You all gave me a safe and supportive place where I could start rebuilding my life. My sobriety date is June 4th, 2023, which was right after my intake there. God willing, this June I will celebrate three years sober. I truly believe that the chance your team gave me played a huge role in that. I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who made that possible. You gave me hope at a time when I had none, and that opportunity helped save my life. Thank you again for everything you do for people who are struggling. With gratitude, Taylor

Amazing clinic, though its the first clinic I've been to. The doctors and councilors are more than understanding and will jump through hoops to make the right call. The receptionist are super friendly and make you feel welcomed and belonged, extreamly friendly. They are there for you and it was very apparent. I was recently transitioned from suboxone to methadone, the doctor took her time and did everything right. I could not be more relieved to have such an amazing team of people surrounding me. If you or know anyone struggling with opioid dependency, I highly recommend this clinic. Under there care, you will be heard and treated as someone who matters. I came here as a little over a year ago. The P.A. Nishi provided me with medication to help stop using. It took a lot of effort to get through the first few weeks, because I felt awful at first. But, with weekly counseling with Melissa I am clean 14 months. My life has significantly improved since. I was on the brink of losing my job, my home, my family, and more than likely, my life. I thrive in this world now because Aegis helped me through. I appreciate everything this place has done for me and the others. Thank you Nishi & Melissa!

Significant improvements have been made to the facility, including updates to the mission statement, management, aesthetics, and especially the counselors who seem far more qualified. However, a non-trivial amount of miscommunication is impacting their clients more than they may realize. That said, it’s important to note that they are still in a transition period, which should also be taken into account.

I cannot say enough good things about Center Point DAAC. For years there were no services for men that wanted help with alcohol and substance abuse through MediCal in Sonoma county. Fortunately this is no longer the case. This facility opened in December 2024 and has helped many suffering from AUD and SUD already. It's a new and clean facility. Staff members are amazing, in particular my case manager. You can tell they are truly sincere in helping others find the path to sobriety. I finally feel hope again. This was my first time at the North Clinic. I have been to the South Clinic a few times. The clinics have a different feel. I have noticed at the South Clinic, some veterans hang out and can socialize with other veterans. One time I was there, there was a truck distributing food. At both clinics the people working there, were very nice and respectful. I was at the North clinic to see a cardio nurse practitioner. She was very thorough and caring with my issues. So far I have been very impressed with the quality of care I have been getting at both clinics.

HI! "Recovery is no popularity contest". Let's get humble, and do whatever it takes to live in that humility. I was a case manager for both in-patient and out-patient. It was a joy helping others. What a person puts into their recovery is what they'll get. Campobello was a good recovery center. I am glad to see Camp is still around. There are alot of people and their families, who got their lives back on track there. Recovery is for those who want it . . DO YOU?

Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I did 90 days and was treated with respect and empathy. The staff were more than attentive to my needs. USMC OIF vet with PTSD & Substance Abuse Disorder. I was able to develop a rapport with my counselor and therapist and finally address the issues that have been holding me back. The environment is clean, comfortable and safe. The food is the best I have had in any treatment. I was able to work out in the gym daily and swim occasionally, which helped lower my anxiety and help me focus. While I was there I attended 2 meetings a week and church on Sundays which were vital in helping me progress through the steps. I gained confidence in my abilities by completing 2 projects in the woodshop. Unlike at VA treatment, I was able to vape in designated areas. Whenever I had downtime I could kick back and relax in the rec area, which has two big tv's and some games. In my opinion, this program is like anything else- you get out what you put in. If you are willing to put in the work and be responsible the staff will bend over backwards for you. They even have a VA liaison. Take it from one vet to another, this is the place you want to be for therapy/recovery.

I am old enough now to understand that mental health does not need to be an embarrassing issue. Mental health issues affect many more people than you probably realize. For me, I inherited half of my mother‘s manic depression, and she was a severe manic depressive. She was often hospitalized shock treatments in the whole works. I inherited a milder form of the depressive side and It started when I was in my mid 40s. After a series of different medicines and approaches, I landed on one that kept me stable, but I didn’t realize that it was also keeping me much more low-key than my actual personality. Due to a number of different circumstances, I really pushed to change medicines and that’s when I met Dr. Nicole Montgomery. What I found so refreshing was that she actually listened to my thoughts about what was happening and was willing to try some of my ideas that I had developed over time about what might be good. She came up with a plan and I am very happy with the results. I’m no longer held at a flat level. I experience way more joy and have way more fun and see life through much more positive lens. One of the phrases Jackie would use when I was on the other medicine was I wish your outside would match your inside. I would be happy, but I would also be flat. I am a much happier person now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very discreet. And though I know that’s important to many people I am just not gonna be embarrassed about something. I have no control over. Mental health awareness is an important issue many people suffer without feeling able to address it. I hope if this helps one person to address whatever issue mentally they’re struggling with then I will be happy.

I was in the rehab back in 2012 and it was a shock at first when I was there because I was being defiant fighting it. But once you realize that they're actually really trying to help you and they care then it starts to work. After 7 months of being there I left and stayed sober for about 22 months. I relapsed because I went back into the same environment I came from I thought I could handle being around certain people in places but I was wrong. I have quit on and off since then sometimes 1 years sometimes 90 days. I am currently on day number 577 and I apply every single thing that I've learned in that rehab on a daily basis now so if I had to say anything about this place I would say that I learned a lot and if you go there pay attention listen to what they're saying it will help you in the long run with your sobriety. Don't be hard-headed and listen is my advice. And yes some of the staff there were not my favorite type of people I would hang out with, but they did the job and it helped me. So for that I'm grateful ☝️

Where to start, getting lab results should be easy but it takes two months plus. I go in for labs, low t, they say take it again in 6 weeks to confirm, 6 weeks later still low but it takes a month and a half later until they go over labs finally. They make a referral to endocrinologist he rejects it. Another 6 weeks for labs, followed by a month to hear about results. The staff and nurses are overall pretty rude if you express any dissatisfaction even when you arent saying anything verbally and are just put off by the chaos here. I had so much going on this last week, wife in the hospital, taking care of a house alone, two kids, work, vet appointments, upcoming surgery and the death of another veteran I served with via suicide but hey being slightly irritated but cordial is way too much for them to deal with... they take an hour and a half to fill zofran and then give me attitude about not wanting to wear a mask because I have a breathing problem. I'm not contagious and the labs have to do with my nausea which has been ongoing since 2017 but they didn't care to hear an explanation and then act like they are so put off by my demeanor and not even wanting to hear my words. Must be nice to have such a sheltered little life that you are put off by someones demeanor that you become rude because you find that so hard to deal with. I miss the Visalia Clinic and at this point am just at a loss for words. Patient advocate is a nice lady, she tries, doc tries but beauracracy is a nightmare, Hizen is a good dude too but getting call backs or scheduling to reach out or the front desk to not have an attitude is unreal. The lab techs are sweet too. Some of the staff needs to work on how they treat veterans. I changed my rating, they are pretty decent overall since it seems as if their staff have turned around and are doing much better.

Well...so far so good. My son said he likes it there. He's been there for 3 days so far. His Doctor and Case manager have both been in contact with me and have been helpful. When I visited Jim yesterday he looked really good and had no complaints. The only downfall is not being able to get a hold of him. Im sure he is kept pretty busy. But I have hope for this place so far. Thank you to the staff and doctors for helping my son 💙
