very good place. shoutout to kylee, alex, victor, and especially therapist lisa. they could do more about the sharps though because there was legit so many sharps getting passed around while I was there. anyways this place kind of inspired me to go and work at a treatment facility because this place helped my mental health and drug issues a lot. <3 anyways it does NOT cost that much to get A/C. its absurd how how it would get since I went in the summer. like seriously dude if I ever get rich I will donate to this place myself to install A/C. The power grid cannot be that expensive bro 😭

READ THIS IF YOURE GOING HERE OR IF YOUR KID IS. I went here 2x for addiction when I was 15. I am 20 now, and I am still sober. Firstly, a lot of kids are now leaving reviews describing the no contact hold period as “traumatic and dehumanizing”. I was also extremely dramatic about the cell phone policies when I went there as a teen. If you are going here don’t be alarmed, this is standard procedure at all mental health facilities, including ones for adults. Part of it is to make sure you don’t use your phone privileges for bad reasons. My first stay here was bad because I was mad at my parents for sending me and I had no intention of getting sober. My second stay was voluntary and It was extremely beneficial. If you’re a teen and you’re going here, make the most out of it and just be positive, because the time will pass anyways. The staff here didn’t sugarcoat things or baby me, they treated me like I was an adult and told me the truth. This experience made me a lot more mature and helped put my drug addiction into perspective. I realized how it was impacting my family and where it could lead me. The school here was great, i was able to get a lot done. The time away from my phone ended up being nice. The nature surrounding the facility was beautiful. They took us on gorgeous hikes where we got to see baby cows and other animals. I returned to this area years later just to go on a hiking trip. There are a variety of kids there, I didn’t get along with a lot of them. But that’s just how it goes at mental health facilities, people with different backgrounds there for all different reasons. Years later i still talk to my friends from here often. Things have not been perfect for me since i’ve left, and if you’re sending your kid here don’t expect them to come out and be completely “cured”. But i will say that this facility showed me i can handle issues sober. It showed me that i can be a good friend and show up for other people. It showed me how much i love my family and how much they love me. It taught me how to be mature even when i didn’t want to at all. And most importantly, it taught me how looking at everything through a positive lens really can change an entire experience from a bad one to a good one. This place prepared me to handle issues like an adult. If you’re a teen and you’re going here, don’t be immature and rude to the staff. If you treat them with kindness and manners that will be reciprocated!! I loved the staff here and i think about them often. Don’t be mean to the other residents even if they are annoying and stupid, because every kid in here is going through the worst time of their life, even if you can’t understand it. Thank you muirwood, I wouldn’t be alive without this place. Now i can become a doctor to pay it forward.

My child received incredible care from the staff at Muir Woods. He has been changed for the better. The program is effective if the kid is willing to do the work. The staff is caring and incredibly supportive, allowing the kids to believe in their capacity for change.

HI! "Recovery is no popularity contest". Let's get humble, and do whatever it takes to live in that humility. I was a case manager for both in-patient and out-patient. It was a joy helping others. What a person puts into their recovery is what they'll get. Campobello was a good recovery center. I am glad to see Camp is still around. There are alot of people and their families, who got their lives back on track there. Recovery is for those who want it . . DO YOU?

Saved my damn life and I had NOTHING coming. Ok? I was absolutely worthless and they looked beyond that. Gave me something I never could ever imagine having; hope. Disregard negative reviews. These people don't understand or are not ready to get clean. Wendy, along with all the staff, pierced my veil of darkness with a little bit of light. Thank you. It will never be forgotten.

The people at empire actually care about our recovery they are other addicts who have been there and relate on my level. I wouldn't pick any were else it's the best rehab as far as I'm concerned.

I have 16 yrs substance free and Empire is where I was give a second chance at life.

They have everything. From meats, produce and a large variety of candy goods, rice, flour, etc. unfortunately they can only open every other month.

This program saved my life. It helped me become the man my family deserves. It’s helped me to become a man that others can follow, trust, And depend on. I have found true freedom from addiction and learned skills in the workforce, communication, and in relationship. They helped me complete DUI school, probation, and I am completely free of all legal issues. Now I am able to serve and give back to the program that saved my life.

One year may seem like a long time but considering the amount of time we have spent in addiction, it is a perfect amount of time to get your life in order!

I am grateful for the chance I was given to change my life here. Today I'm living a God centered life free of addiction. My prayers were answered when as I continued to trust in the Lord and today I have the great opportunity to guide new students coming in.

While many facilities offer similar services, the staff at this clinic truly stand out for their genuine care and commitment to each client’s well-being—an area where other locations often fall short. I make a two-hour round trip to come here, and while there are several reasons for my choice, the knowledge that I’m receiving care from people who truly care about helping me makes every mile worth it.

This clinic and staff saved my life. So much more of a personal experience than with or any other clinic. They truly care. I had to hitch hike from Chico everyday to get to ATS for treatment, and with there help we were able have the clinic use there own vehicle to go all the way to Oroville to pick up 6 patients at a time everyday there and back for treatment. Like I said that truly care.

I attended vista way through out the summer of 2018. Before the corona virus. Hi my name is Tamara withem . Vista Way has lots of support groups when or if you are struggling with drugs or depression.

Needs were never met here either, I have Developed mental issues, This place just doesn't provide the care that I needed, Valerie lucero was terrible here, She swept my complaints under The rugs.

The Alano Club is where people meet to participate in a traditional AA 12 Step program. People mandated by Butte County courts to participate in AA can come to meetings here and get their logs validated. AA meets 7 days a week throughout the days and evenings. Those who work are able to easily participate in AA therapy due to the various meeting times. There's many dedicated men and women who have years of sobriety and who have worked the 12 Steps available here. They are available to provide sponsorship or just simple fellowship. I recommend the Alano Club AA program for people who desire sobriety. Recovery through AA is possible it takes working through the 12 Steps AND the understanding fellowship of the many sober men and women at the Alano Club. You can return to your friends and families alcohol free and have a happy and healthy life.
