We transferred my father to this treatment center and I was absolutely impressed with the amount of detail and time they put into getting to know him and all the issues he is having. His history and making it very family-centered with his care. A three-day comprehensive in-processing. Never found a place like it, definitely a gem as far as residential psychiatric treatment center goes. They go the extra mile. Thanks!

My experience was life changing! Everyone at Paradise was caring, attentive and have first hand experience in addiction. I felt safe and at home. Groups helped me understand my addiction and have a great desire to be sober! The house was homey, clean and has a swimming pool! Food was terrific! But most of all the staff outstanding! Thank you Kellie, Carlin,James and Sawyer. Y all made my time at Paradise meaningful and you helped me gain tools to continue in my sobriety! A special shout out to KELLIE. Great staff and invaluable lessons for recovery, relationships, personal development, self esteem and parenting classes. Been here twice, with a break in between, but so glad to come back and be welcomed with open arms and without judgment as a person, an addict and a first time mother going through the many challenges that come with that and other traumatic life events. I attended the Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) for 5 months. It was literally life changing. I learned skills to better my life and gained the support I needed through peers and group facilitators. Groups provided CBT, DBT, and art therapy. My favorite was often processing groups - I would share about my life and hear about others . It truly helped me learn and relate to others - a connection so important in today s world. Each staff member valued me, my well being, and overall happiness each day. They consistently supported me and my struggles, while also celebrating my success with the most genuine pride. The consistent kindness was so refreshing and felt genuine. Staff members would greet me with smiles every single day. They really wanted the best for me, and treated me as an individual - honoring the fact that I am a unique person with unique needs. They made me feel loved and cared for when many people in my life have not. Hanbleceya is a residential recovery program designed for adults experiencing schizophrenia and mood disorders. My experience has been as a parent, and our son was in the program for about a year. My wife and I can't say enough good things about it, and we couldn't be more proud of the progress our son has made over the course of his time at Hanbleceya.The staff and peers at Hanbleceya were a huge part of our son's recovery and really "partnered" with us all the way. I love the way that Hanbleceya involves the whole family. The place is a sort of community where lifelong friendships can be formed. Personal accountability and responsibility are encouraged by staff and peers alike, and promoted within the context of trusting personal relationships. Tough love is exercised. Bi-monthly Family Support Group weekends are a great resource because the whole family (we the parents, our son and his siblings) could be together and meet his friends in the program and their families.There was an initial "no contact" period of about 2-3 months where we weren't allowed to communicate directly. This was difficult but turned out to be extremely helpful in the long run toward developing improved communication patterns.The adults and their families who are in the program have invariably been through extremely difficult and stressful experiences as a result of mental illness, and Hanbleceya does an amazing job of helping everyone navigate through this difficult time of life and equipping families to live in mutual harmony and support for the long-term.The focus throughout the program is equipping young adults to "launch" into the real world and in my experience this is one of the program's real strengths. Hanbleceya has helped give our son the confidence and personal management skills necessary to succeed at whatever he does next. For him, this involves resuming his college undergraduate studies. And he's been "coached" how to handle all sorts of challenges that might come his way.The "Google SGK" review from about a year ago echoes my sentiments very closely so please read that one as well.

My mom was very well taken care of at the icu unit by all staff, nurses, respiratory therapist, and Dr. Al-Janabi. At the main hospital, Dr. Thomas was also amazing and all the nurses. Sober life is the absolute BEST place to be if you are struggling. I went in 2020 and didn t complete, and they welcomed me back with open arms march of this year and I went through completion. I have had the opportunity to stay in their network by getting care at SD wellness for psychiatry. Over this holiday week I had forgotten about my refill of a medication I need, I got in contact with Dan from alumni since I forgot what their hours were for thanksgiving and Black Friday, and by today (saturday) I have my refill! I got a personal call from Dr Amaro and got squared away. I ve never found a medical group that listens, cares, and has better communication than here. I am so happy with this process and will always come back if I need it! Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with La Jolla recovery the staff looks out for the people in recovery. They do have days where they are busy and can t get to your request right away but they always abide by what they say they re gonna do! We had a cooked meal for us everyday, and amazing group facilitators, and we go out outtings a few times a week! it has definitely been very beneficial for my recovery, I would definitely recommend this program!!

I attended Jackson House for a month and had the greatest experience there. All of the workers are attentive and amazing with daily groups and support. My counselor, Robert has an excellent approach while he's leading groups and weekly one on ones. I will definitely be apart of the alumni meetings to see old and new faces that are still in the house. Amazing all around and can't recommend enough.

Had a wonderful experience, from being hospitalized and stranded coming in to being able to feel my emotions again and be able to find a community in the program. The counselors here and the planners and the staff are absolutely awesome and never would have thought I'd come out of this better than ever leading meetings and the peer support here is without parallel. Kade, Arlene, Brad, Rowan and Robert are some of the most caring people, and are truly invested in healing me and giving me coping skills and a safe exit plan.

An excellent experience all around. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about recovery. Many of the staff were in long-recovery themselves, which was conducive to a safe and healing environment. The food was top-tier and way above expectations. The living space was clean, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. The therapy program was incredibly beneficial to my personal recovery, and has given me the tools necessary to put my life back on the 'Right Path'My needs were consistently met and exceeded in every way possible, and I would highly recommend this program to anybody looking for a fresh start and a solution to the cunning disease of addiction.

HGR drug rehabs San Diego was the best residential inpatient addiction treatment center I have attended. I was in the inpatient drug rehab for 30 days. I received an individualized treatment plan and spoke with a credentialed substance abuse counselor every day. After completing this level, I went to the intensive outpatient program or their IOP drug rehabs Escondido, California center. Here I went three times a week for 3 hours each time. This was convenient and I was able to continue working while going through this stage. Nora, their CEO met with me almost every day to make sure I was progressing. Once completing the IOP I went to their outpatient drug rehabs Escondido center. I still call their every month. Let me tell you, this place saved my life. If they did not take my insurance, I would have stopped looking for substance abuse treatment.

I love soledad house, the care i have received here from the clinicians and Bht s as well as admin is life changing. They really care about me as a person and have so much respect for my Native American culture and letting me get sober traditionally like going to sweats, wellbriety & powwows. The knowledge i was able to obtain about generational trauma, PAWS, & emotional regulation skills is really beneficial to me and my recovery. The houses are amazing and the day managers really show up for you in moments of need. Soledad house has been so amazing for me. I ve been to many treatment centers and Soledad has been the best by far. I came into the program so broken with no will to live. The staff here have encouraged me and loved me when I couldn t love myself. They have taught me how to have fun and smile again. I have learned how to laugh and be a kid again. The therapist here are amazing! Each one has helped me in many different ways. I recommend staying for the 90 days and doing the aftercare program if you re able to! When you are at your lowest and ready to surrender, Soledad house is the right place to go! Take the suggestions and they will help change your life. Every single person, clients and staff have helped save my life. I m forever grateful

Great place for a person that never been in the sober treatment center before. Intense schedule for group therapy and 6 days a week mandatory AA meetings with little of free time. Amazing living environment, very clean, modern and stylish. I would recommend to all of my friends and families.
