There are not words to describe the care and compassion I have experienced.. I recently called to discuss treatment for a dear friend of mine who is struggling with alcohol use. Haley is the outreach coordinator I spoke with and she was so caring and kind. She talked with me about all the options and listened to everything I said. We then worked with heather who was also amazing and not pushy in any way. We ended up going another direction with his care but know in our hearts that they will be our GO TO if or when he is ready for this journey. As someone who works in the field I know this can be such a difficult time for people and now having watched my absolute best friend struggle I can honestly say they handled everything with such grace. Thank you for your care and compassion New Dawn. I truly appreciate it.

Progress House allowed me to save my own life, by program. Since 2020 clean & sober. Thank you again to staff that was there and the people I met.

Amazing program with a lot of really amazing staff members who are extremely caring and understanding I took advantage of the anger management classes as well as parenting classes my favorite and most helpful education course they provided when I was a resident that I use in my daily life was the communication a d boundaries class, it helps me build stronger healthier relationships and put and end to any toxic one that would potentially be hazardous to my recovery, I showed up there with nothing. Within 8 months of successfully completing the program without deviating I was able to clear up my out standing court cases, got my license back! a steady job! A vehicle! My teeth fixed! They took my to my dental appointments. I now have a beautiful smile and my confidence back as well as my self respect and able to get past my barriers and start accomplishing my goals, and building my relationships I ruined and repairing the bridges I burned.

All the staff at progress house are very well trained and good at what they do and very caring I will forever be grateful and supportive of this program it changed my life.

Aegis Treatment Center has wonderful staff! I worked a couple of months here, it was an experience I am appreciative of. Best Of all the MMT clinics in Sacramento

I have been to 3 different methadone clinics and this one is by far the best. Great and super friendly staff. I just showed up one morning at 6am because my suboxone was making me feel violently nauseous all the sudden and I needed help, this place saved my life. Do yourself a favor and if you are struggling with dependence just show up and they will take care of you.

C. O. R. E. Medical Clinic was the first clinic of it's kind here in Sacramento. The level of compassionate care starts with it's founder Dr.Stinson and reverberates throughout the rest of the staff. I cannot say enough about how this clinic places Harm Reduction above all else. This has enabled myself and countless others a safe haven to begin the often long and arduous road back to a healthier lifestyle. Thank you Dr. Stinson, your associate doctors, my amazing counselor Katherine, all the lovely nurses and we mustn't forget the front window staff. Couldn't be doing it without you.

For teens and young adults struggling with substance issues, The Pathway Program made all the difference. The program focuses on enthusiast sobriety and teaches kids that life can be fun and fulfilling when you are working together on the 12 Steps. The staff are some of the best people we have ever worked with and we have tried a lot of mental health and substance programs in the past. This program saved our son’s life and the parent support has taught us so much about raising a teen to become a responsible adult and how to deal with substance use in a healthy way. People drive from all over the area to join the group and it’s no surprise, there is no where else with this type of support.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd. The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery. The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program. There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support. I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn’t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She’s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen! Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. It provided support, tools, and encouragement. I wish every city had a great place like this for teens and young adults to heal and find happiness! If you are looking for a place to help your kid (and you) through the challenge of addiction this is it!

Pathways saved my life. I went there broken physically and mentally and left with hope and tools. The medical team was fantastic. Thank you to all of the nurses and staff. The leadership was present and accessible. The case managers were consistent, caring and knowledgeable. The food was great. Although cold, the pool served as a great wake up call in the morning and nightcap. The jacuzzi and outdoor shower were used consistently. The program works if you work it. I would recommend pathways to anybody close to me. The gym and breath work classes are great. Just a really well run, organized and caring environment.

There is no way to describe how grateful I am for the team at Pathways for the guidance and support they provided. The amount of care and empathy that was shown by each staff member was unparalleled, and the tools they provided will last a lifetime. Stephen was so much more than just a counselor. Pathways Recovery Gave Us Our Daughter Back When my daughter showed up at Pathways Recovery, she was drinking 10 Fireballs a day—plus gin. What else can I say about River City Recovery!!! If you TRULY want to be FREED from the disease of addiction, this place will do everything within their power to assist you in getting there. The rest is up to you and how TRULY BAD you as an individual want the opportunity to live your BEST life!!! All I had to do was show up and put to use ALL the great tools they give you and after being clean and sober for going on five months now, I can honestly say the program is PRICELESS!!! It was A nice rehabilitation center. I had family around me which made it a little more comfortable. I thought that A month would be enough for me. I missed my kids. I made every excuse why I did not need more time in recovery. Truth is you do. Stay with it. It is a great place.
