I’ve recommended several friends and will continue to. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Alex Winterstein 5 months ago i've done multiple php/iop programs before cast. i just finished yesterday after about 4 months of first php and then iop levels of care. when i arrived i had been 10 years sober and in 1-1 therapy, been on meds, done somatic work, and did two rounds of TMS. i still was not feeling right, least of all confident in my direction and sense of self. through very simple (but not always easy!) guidance by my individual therapist Samson, the best therapist i've ever had, i was able to change things in my life i have been resistant towards forever. group therapy sessions are facilitated with a deft, guiding hand by a licensed therapist (many other programs in los angeles employ facilitators that are only associates or not even at least that at times). individual therapists may have differing approaches based on each client, but from talking to the members of my cohort, each 1-1 therapist at cast is as good as they come. from front desk to admin to therapists/facilitators, the level of professionalism and care is a rarity for a mental health facility, especially one that accepts insurance (a sign that they are in this to help people). if you are looking for the best care in la, i cannot recommend cast enough. my life is night and day from when i started, to when i ended just yesterday. Martin Warne 8 months ago I had a beautiful eye awaken experience at breathe Valerio was a top notch therapist who can read you inside out and give such insightful advice.Blake was amazing as well and last but not least Gracie the Cm was so compassionate and amazing I personally didn’t finish treatment unfortunately but am going to another facility and hopefully can use the amazing tools I was able to get in breathe I am eternally grateful for the sense of community I felt and was touched by the place deeply. After so many relapses and trying other rehabs, I really didn’t have many other options. My experience in sober living was life changing. Learning how to live, cope with life, deal with different personalities and stay drug free…. was crucial for my recovery. My house managers, housing directors and entire team were beyond supportive. WW also believes in living life and having fun. Every Sunday we would go on an adventure. It may be on a hike, beach or to a farmers market. They provided transportation in evenings to attend a variety of meetings. The BIG trips (Mikey) plans……are breathtaking. I have been to Big Bear, gorgeous hikes/cliff jumping and Camping, just to name a few. I am 3 years sober and have never been happier. Sober living was one of the many factors that helped change my life. The houses are beautiful and located in safe areas. I am so blessed that I was given the opportunity to go to Westwind. Started in 2022 in and out of sober living’s of various qualities, but I finally landed at Westwind a year or so ago and I’ve been with them ever since. They do a lot of things right - the most important being accountability, which they take very serious and this has kept me sober! Westwind sober living is a super-professional operation which garners a lot of confidence from me. I feel safe and supported here and my outlook is better than in any other situation I’ve been in.
