Sam is so selfless and caring! I called to get my brother help and he was so informative and spent 35 mins going over a lot of stuff and leading me into getting help for my brother. I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. If pacific sands is anything like Conor than I know anyone who comes here will be in great hands.

Life-Changing Experience Our family will always be grateful for this treatment center. From the moment one of our family members arrived, the staff made them feel seen, respected, and understood. Many of them are in recovery themselves, and that made such a difference — they truly get it. The environment was warm, nurturing, and safe — exactly what our relative needed to begin healing. The people there, both staff and other residents, were genuine and supportive. This is a place where real change and growth can happen. Their authenticity and care provide hope, community, and a new start.

I came to Clear a few years ago desperately needing help for my substance use disorder. They worked with my insurance but more importantly than that they worked with me. The staff genuinely cared about my achieving long term sobriety and it showed. Their employees were nothing short of amazing from Program Director to the team of therapists, case managers, nurses, and technicians who not only insured my detox was comfortable but made me feel cared for. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone struggling with substance use and or mental health issues of any kind. I wish I could leave more than five stars.

I came here right after my second time in detox. Aftercare was something I failed to accept the first time around so even though I was hesitant, I knew deep down that without it I was destined to relapse again. I came here completely lost and broken, with no hope and just a complete wreck. I was drinking myself away due to my father's death and I wanted to quit, but I didn't know how. I was reclusive and anti-social so the last thing I wanted to do was be in a group and share the dark thoughts inside my head. But once I finally started to slowly open up I realized that everyone here could relate and empathize because they too were once lost and broken like I was. Little did I know that this place would become the foundation for my recovery today and the change I needed to begin a new life. I can honestly say with all sincerity and through first-hand experience that the owner Ron along with all the staff here truly care about everyone that walks through that door. So much so that they believed in me when I didnt have the strength to believe in myself and they saved my life. I've met some awesome people and I've seen some truly amazing things happen here and I believe this place is truly different from any other place I've ever been to. To anyone that feels lost in addiction and in life like me, I truly recommend this place. Give yourself a chance to begin again. In the words of my counselor Alfredo: "I won't promise it will be easy, but it will definitely be worth it."

I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn’t for Avedis I don’t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

After trying a few rehab centers in the past, I can confidently say that West Valley Detox is on a whole different level. From the very first call, the staff made me feel supported and cared for. The therapists are truly dedicated and take the time to understand each client’s needs. The environment is peaceful and perfect for healing, and the daily meals are healthy and delicious. I’m so grateful for the experience — it changed my life for the better.

Best alcohol detox program in Los Angeles. They have amazing clinical staff and overall the program feels like home. There is also the chef Heather who makes amazing food which just a huge plus to the overall experience

I can personally say that this is an absolute amazing place. I had great experience with the staff each and everyone hand-picked to perfection. If you ask my opinion, the nurse Jade is absolutely amazing. I know that I will miss her terrible Josh is very very very, very super amazing. deja super sweet person. Georgie is a very caring understanding person. I can actually say I have a good word for each and everyone of them. It would take up a lot of space so I won’t just know that I appreciate each and everyone of you and wish the very best in life for you I would also like to say that Ariel is absolutely amazing. There were a few situations that were scary that he was very comforting very understanding and I like the shout out and say things to everybody.

The detox is great. Awesome staff that cares and is patient with every client. It’s not a “one shoe fits all” we all have different issues. Staff addresses problems directly and doesn’t let problems linger. Great food. 3 meals a day. Self care day on Saturdays. Outings on Sundays. A lot of freedom and free time. Great groups. Small group of clients so it’s a more personal feel. Bonus: candy drawer

I was just another drug addict going in and out of rehabs and running the streets. A playboy always chasing the next fix. I landed in the care of Dr. Marshall at Decicato. I remember sitting in the room for my first group meeting and Dr. Marshall coming in to lead the group. He told his story and It gave me chills through my body. I felt like I had finally found somebody I could relate to and it gave me hope I spent the next 4 weeks giving it everything I had and following his lead. I met my soon to be wife through the Dedicato program (we get married tomorrow) and we have 2 kids and a life that I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams I could have. This was my third time through rehab and found it the best, well run and most effective treatment I’ve been through. Maria and staff have a well structured program, with engaging assignments that are on-point. I am best prepared to avoid relapse. I would recommend Cornerstone to any addict serious about getting sober!

Two-faced employees that smile for money, make sure you don't bring anything valuable because it will probably be stolen and the staff will not care. Hope you guys are enjoying my nice hiking boots that mysteriously disappeared from my property when I was leaving. Also they let my car get soaked in the rain while it was open for hours after I arrived and never dried it out, so when I got it back it was full of mold that I didn't notice and I got horribly ill with something like pneumonia immediately after leaving. Only thing they were good at was dishing out lots of pills so if that's what you're looking for this is the place for you, just don't bring valuables.

This is a great place. The staff are nice. Merlo, Darrin, Paul, Sean and everyone else there are of great help to people there. I can't remember all the names. Follow ups from them Merlo even after discharge.

My husband and I absolutely loved Warner it was comfortable everyday we learned so many tools that we can take with us the staff was welcoming and very friendly I will never forget them. Especially Zoey and Justin y'all rock!!!

Wow the amount of care that I got while being at Summit Malibu was amazing, I’m so blessed because I came from Alaska all the way across the country and all of the staff made me feel welcomed and safe. Just celebrated 8 years sobriety! This place saved my life. They are very well organized and understand treatment and recovery. I wasn't necessarily very open-minded in the beginning but I'm so glad I didn't quit and leave not everybody stays sober and I understand that and this place doesn't guarantee anything however it is a beginning and for me it was pivotal. Every day is a new day to embrace change. I learned that from MFI. I am forever grateful! Stay connected to the people in recovery and more importantly be available and responsible for people that need the help and you can keep your recovery. Miss Dove is a great counselor ... Staff is professional, experienced and well skilled! Saved my life!!!

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days. Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be. It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this. If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations. If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities. Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!
