They were unprofessional and not patient when patience is a must when dealing with mental people like me. I filed a grievance against Jessica to Miranda and Miranda was helpful and understanding. I met Breeonna Friday was very nice and have a zoom meeting tomorrow with her. Remember Jessica and Nicole from Tehachapi are the worst.Breeonna has been sick for a long time and so has my recovery coordinator but I reached out to the office and asked for a fill in therapist and Amber has really helped me with my coping skills. They not only help you with your addiction they are there to help you with the mental and spiritual areas that will help you recover and not relapse. The only thing that I can say needs repaired would be the gym and pool, the gym has old broken equipment and not a lot of stuff in there, the pool was shut down due to lack of not being cleaned. John Taylor 10 months ago Well we put our self's in this situation that we are in, and yes it's a business, and I say Thank Goodness for this business, I like very much the people who work here, my counselor is great, the dosing people are great, I have a couple Favorites, but I'm Very Thankful for these Methadone Clinics, it got me off of Heroin, and with Methadone I dont have to worry about getting a drug that god knows what's in it, I know what's in the Methadone. I have been on this program for many years, that also is my fault, any time I want to get detoxed, I am able too, they dont force you to stay on it. But it has worked for. The director Brenda has been more than a encourager to me she has been a guide. A guide towards better living something that I was in dire need of because I was literally losing my life in my addiction. IDK who people are talking about that they say are rude, but I've never seen anything like that. Plus you're supposed to keep track of your own classes. We're all adults. While my journey with them wasn’t perfect, I do want to acknowledge the support they provided and express gratitude for the effort and time they gave me during a very difficult season of my life. That said, there were moments where I did not feel fully supported or listened to in the ways I was hoping for. I came in seeking specific types of therapy, clearer guidance, and concrete next steps. At times, the responses felt vague, and I was left feeling uncertain about available options or referrals. I also struggled with the feeling that my age made my concerns less urgent, which was discouraging. Mental health has no age limit, and everyone deserves to feel heard and taken seriously. Despite these challenges, I recognize that systems are complex, providers are overextended, and support can look different for each person. I appreciate the professionalism shown and the resources that were offered, even if they weren’t ultimately the right fit for me. This experience encouraged me to take a more active role in my own healing—doing my own research, learning more about psychology, reflecting deeply, and strengthening my faith. Leaning on God and continuing to seek growth has been an important part of my journey. For others considering Claire Vida, I recommend going in with clear questions, advocating for your needs, and supplementing professional support with personal reflection and faith if that’s part of your life. Overall, while my experience had its difficulties, I’m still grateful for the support along the way and give four stars based on that perspective. I was discharged 4-30-26, and have plenty of stories to tell. The patients there were friendly, outgoing, and respectful. For the whole month I stayed, I've only experienced one disagreement, yet it only lasted about a day and resulted in me and the patient hugging it out. I genuinely had high hopes for everyone there including myself, and staff helped guide me out of the hole I dug myself into. The supervisors suck they sit in their office and gossip all day the kids new all the drama. Still sober from alcohol. I had to move to this place halfway through my treatment due to the Malibu fire that destroyed the awesome cliff side treatment center. I did have some problems but over all it worked. Do not have your family come to the family visits my family did not have a good experience and we still have problems because of what was said to them. But really I had no idea how to live life sober until I started working with my counselor. Which was the next day. The staff are extremely hands on with every client. I was shocked at how hands on each staff member was with every client. They loved me when I didn't love myself. Cycles of Change showed me a new way of life, they introduced to me the 12 Steps of recovery through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I have never been a reader but I found myself not being able to put the book down. I honestly can't thank Cycles of Change enough for saving my life, and showing life is worth living without drugs and alcohol. Today I have 2 years clean and sober and my life is so amazing today. I never thought I could stay sober an hour better yet 1 year. Of course I have good days and bad days, but I have tools to deal with life today. 8 years ago

I was on a very bad path, and I was about to lose everything that I truly cared about and loved in my life. That being said, I still did not want to go. On the drive there I was very scared about what I thought it was going to be like. I had never been to rehab or detox before. When I walked through the door, I was immediately struck by how nice it was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. They really cared about the people that were there to get help. They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The place is very nice and has a relaxing atmosphere. The food was awesome. They have a gourmet chef, and on his days off, there were plenty of staff that knew how to cook and grill really well. I loved the group meetings and the 1 on 1 counseling sessions. They provided me with insight and honesty within myself about my situation. I learned things about myself that I never realized before. They did these things without me ever feeling judged or bad about the choices I made. The staff truly cared about my health and about my well-being, and I mean all the staff, no matter what their job title was. I could not imagine a better place to get help. The rooms were very comfortable, and if there was something you needed help with, they were very accommodating. There was no shortage of things to do on our downtime. We were also able to have outings off site, and they let us vote on what we wanted to do. We had trips to the beach, movies and a nice pool. I could keep going on and on about how wonderful of an experience this place was, while also helping me to work through my issues at the same time.
