Thrift Store didn't honor the posted sale sign on an item we tried to purchase. The sign was clear that all items were discounted from their regular price.

The detox is great. Awesome staff that cares and is patient with every client. It’s not a “one shoe fits all” we all have different issues. Staff addresses problems directly and doesn’t let problems linger. Great food. 3 meals a day. Self care day on Saturdays. Outings on Sundays. A lot of freedom and free time. Great groups. This is regarding primary care:
I was assigned this center as my primary care for my insurance, as I didn't have a regular doctor and I thought I'd give it a chance and see. My first visit went well, I had a really great clinician and we discussed my issues that I needed to address. She ordered labs and we scheduled a follow up visit for 3 weeks later to start on some needed exams. Two weeks later I got told that she was no longer at the clinic and my appointment needed to be rescheduled. They rescheduled me to a clinic further away (1 hour drive for me each way). I got to the appointment early, and after waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment time I ended up leaving.
I have had four inpatient visits (2 for labs) and 5 telephone consults. I have never spoken to the same person twice, and not one clinician had background on my history or treatment goals so I got to explain that newly each time to differing indifferent responses. The "doctor" listed on my insurance card I have never seen or spoken to; I'm taking their word that he exists at all.
I was told that they did labs in the office (instead of going to Qwest Diagnositics where I had been going), but they neglected to tell me they'd be charging me for those labs (where it was 100% covered at Qwest). They also did the incorrect labs the first time, so I had to come in again and redo them. They almost did the same incorrect labs the second time but I was talking about the issue and the tech saw the mistake and corrected. (The techs I met and spent all of 10 minutes with overall were all very nice). I did get charged for the second labs to correct their mistake, as well as the copay for the phone call to follow up on my labs where they couldn't do any follow up because they didn't have the right info.
I had to call every single time to schedule a follow up call on each my labs after re-starting a medication to see where my levels were, so we could possibly get everything to where they need to be. They did zero follow up on their own, even though every place I've worked with before would set up regular appointments/labs for medication assessment until they reached the level that was effective.
I gave it 8 months and have seen zero improvement in my one health issue that was my primary focus, and not even touched on the other few I had intended on working on. I have since started seeing a different practitioner out of pocket so that I can possibly get some traction on my health issues. I changed from Tarzana to another primary care for emergencies as well, so I am no longer with them after this month.
I received the invoice for all of my "care", and the only option for payment they gave me was to fill in all of my credit card information (including security code) onto the paper invoice, which contained my personal health information and send it through the mail to them.
I called and they told me that the only other way to pay is to come in person to their office (which is 45 minutes away), so that I can pay them to be done, because they they have no online payment system.
The only reason I'm putting this all up here is because I feel like people need to know what they are signing up for. If I had known these things I would have changed much sooner, and saved myself some headache and $$.

This is the worst Drs. office I have ever been to. I have been going there for a year on almost a monthly basis and have never seen the same Dr. twice. And each Dr. has a different course of treatment. Before going there I was on 3 prescriptions and now I am on 24. When I need refills of my prescriptions they are never called in to the pharmacy until I am out of the medication for 3-5 days and when they are called in many times they are the wrong medication. I am in the process of changing Drs.. I don’t go there for rehab, I go for routine medical care. I think with all the meds they are prescribing they are hoping I will stay with them for rehab purposes.

The admissions coordinator, Nick, was incredibly kind. Journey Hillside is like a second home, only better. The detox was well managed and I felt my comfort was top priority. My room exceeded my expectations and was very comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable, very compassionate and made me feel secure and loved. The groups were informative and time was taken by the staff to truly listen and provide thoughtful feedback and advice. Individual therapy was challenging in good ways and really helped me to think about things from a different perspective. Having a private chef was also a plus.
I feel I have been provided more tools to continue on this journey of sobriety and recovery than I had anticipated. I enjoyed going to the different 12 step meetings and also the outings. Tarzana is beautiful and Journey Hillside is my top recommendation for anyone looking for a complete program that treats you with compassion, dignity and respect.

I got the opportunity to be a resident at the Nova Vitae house and it was amazing. Cool people in a cool environment. If your interested in getting in control of your addiction then this is the place to be. Amazing rooms! An amazing Movie theater,Complete Gym,giant pool,hot tub,sauna,patio areas,and amazing treatment center! The people who run the place have hearts of gold and really know how to make a person feel comfortable. My favorite is Stephen. If you need anything or need someone to talk to he is the guy! My guy.lol. Hooked it up with a whole new hobby! Laying ink. I miss them all so much and can't begin to tell you how much they touched me in my treatment. Check it out and see for yourself.

Our son spent a little over a month at this residential facility, and the impact it has had on our family has been transformative. From day one, we were met with a level of care and support that immediately put us at ease.
The staff at the facility are skilled and deeply committed to the well-being of each individual. We were especially grateful to work with Romena. She helped all of us as a family communicate more openly and become better equipped to move forward with hope.

Went here when I was going through a rough patch in college. Started with strong supervision and working the 12 steps. Eventually the supervision was reduced and I ended up in sober living. I did college credit at the same time and there were a lot of good counselors who were always willing to help me. I was not always the easiest client but they made it work. Looking back now I'm really thankful of my time there.

I spent 39 days at Aton and truly believe it changed my life. I have been to several centers and I made more progress here during my 39 days then I had spending 90 days at another highly regarded facility.
What made Aton special for me is the family feeling from the moment you walk into the door and that familiar feeling only grows the more time you spend here. Aton’s focus around mind body and soul is exactly as marketed between gourmet meals, daily holistic offerings, daily walks and gym.
The therapy is definitely next level. Having individual sessions once a day is life changing. I was amazed when they told me I could choose my team and in doing so I got the pleasure of being exposed to the entire team, appreciated each of their individual approaches, and ultimately got a team that fit my needs perfectly. Specifically I was allowed to do emdr for five days straight which has helped me tremendously.
