It's a small clinic and I was a bit worried since the last time I had Medi-Cal my experiences added up to my condition only getting worse. I have been well taken care of at this clinic. This means a lot to me because I struggle with trauma and some health issues and I need people that will actually help me and not make things worse for me. They have treated me pretty well there and my provider has been on point and getting things done.

I have been a patient here for a few years and have had to switch to a new practioner a few times due to their leaving the practice. That being said I'm always greeted at the front with a friendly smile and that means a lot! Dr. Ben is great and such a breath of fresh air. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be listened to and not rushed. He listens and I believe is an asset to this practice. I know he's on a 6 month contract but I hope he decides to stay!

New Dawn did what I thought was impossible to do. They freed me from my physical addiction to Alcohol. They provide a clean and safe professional and comfortable environment to do something that can be very I uncomfortable despite what the addiction of the person may be. The staff and therapists were professional and supportive as well as informative. The food was good and I am still sober today. I was there through the 4th of july weekend. I would recommend them to anyone seeking to start a new beginning free from addiction. 🙏

Significant improvements have been made to the facility, including updates to the mission statement, management, aesthetics, and especially the counselors who seem far more qualified. However, a non-trivial amount of miscommunication is impacting their clients more than they may realize. That said, it’s important to note that they are still in a transition period, which should also be taken into account.

My wife has been there for 4 months and treated very well. Since I live in Elko Nevada some 5and half hours away and live at an assisted living, we talk by phone. I have never heard her complain about her care. Staff have been kind and genuine about her. The biggest problem as been were to place her,and insurance which we have clear up. My opinion is this a hospital I can trust!

This is a great facility and the people I interacted with are even better. Specifically I'd like to mention Sandy and Tiffany. Sandy was always extremely professional and cordial with me. Always asked how I was and expressed genuine concern for everyone. To say that Tiffany is an excellent counselor would be an understatement. She takes the extra initiative to help her clients grow. Tiffant listened to all my needs and created a treatment plan tailored to my needs and aligned with the most current clinical methodology. People like this help you navigate through life and I am blessed to have participated and connected with people of this caliber. Thank you.

I have been to 8 treatment centers from Sacramento to Michigan and I can honestly say that skyway house has been the best treatment that I have received BY FAR. The counselors Andy, Veronica, and Madeline actually really care and aren't there for the paycheck. They take an active role in every clients recovery weather they are your counselor or not. The support staff is top notch as well. I came in with virtually nothing. Taylor and Amy and Ajanna literally helped save my life. From listening to my problems to playing cards with me and loaning me books to read. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful place.

Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I did 90 days and was treated with respect and empathy. The staff were more than attentive to my needs. USMC OIF vet with PTSD & Substance Abuse Disorder. I was able to develop a rapport with my counselor and therapist and finally address the issues that have been holding me back. The environment is clean, comfortable and safe. The food is the best I have had in any treatment. I was able to work out in the gym daily and swim occasionally, which helped lower my anxiety and help me focus. While I was there I attended 2 meetings a week and church on Sundays which were vital in helping me progress through the steps. I gained confidence in my abilities by completing 2 projects in the woodshop. Unlike at VA treatment, I was able to vape in designated areas. Whenever I had downtime I could kick back and relax in the rec area, which has two big tv's and some games. In my opinion, this program is like anything else- you get out what you put in. If you are willing to put in the work and be responsible the staff will bend over backwards for you. They even have a VA liaison. Take it from one vet to another, this is the place you want to be for therapy/recovery.

Willow Springs treatment center made a huge difference with our son. He had already been to a residential treatment center in California that was like a mansion, but he bolted twice, got released after three months, and was discharged too soon. Willow Springs proved to be a much better container for healing. The individual therapist, Roger was thoughtful, he listened keenly to both us and our son, and he called “shenanigans” if our son tried to pull any BS. The whole program and communication from staff is tailored to hold our children through challenging times into young adulthood — and it happened with our son!! There are no pools or fancy perks, just treatment and help when needed. Kids who are ready for help will find it here, but their method takes time and patience. Our daughter has struggled with mental health issues for many years and finding help has been very difficult. We finally received a referral for residential care and sent her to another facility in California, but her needs ended up exceeding their abilities and we were referred to Willow Springs. I have to admit that at first I was very nervous, after years of quick triage visits and rapid medication changes I was braced for more of the same. I am happy to say that I was wrong. She was in residential care at Willow Springs Center for over six months, which were some of the hardest of our lives as we live in Arkansas and weren’t able to visit. The staff made sure we talked often and had weekly zoom meetings with her. We felt involved with every step of the treatment plan, and more importantly so did she. She built strong bonds with her doctors and her therapist, which has lead to her seeking therapy and continuing her treatments voluntarily outside. We have had her home for five months now and have only required minor medication adjustments from what was prescribed while she was inpatient. I would like to send a special thank you to her therapist Roger G. To this day she still misses their talks and feels a bond with him. I don’t think anyone has ever built a trusted relationship with her quite like that, and we believe it was this that allowed her to thrive and finally accept the help she needed.

Yes I just want to say one thing I've been struggling with recovering addictions since 2013 I've been in an active addiction years before that it's only when I got my daughter taken from me in 2013 that I actually wanted to stop and be the best parent I could be. My daughter was 5 years old at the time she was taken I was her only parent because her mother was in prison I've got her back two times since then but I have lost her due to my addiction issues I did not know how powerful this disease is until it took my child away two more times now I cannot see my daughter even though she still loves her dad and hopefully she's always been a daddy's girl shenow who lives with my sister thank God she didn't go into the system I need help really bad I can't seem to shake this shit I mean I'm on the verge of suicide because I can't deal with it anymore and neither can anybody that loves me they don't even talk to me anymore I need help somebody please help me oh yeah and to the people who are talking mad crap about this place I don't know these people from Anna Marie but I can tell you this that the ones who failed is because they chose to fail they didn't have nothing to do with the establishment there's always going to be people who don't want help and people who don't want to get right that's going to say stuff like this and it's going to take things the wrong way and take it to the wrong side of the fence everywhere You Go I mean these places are made for addicts of course it's going to be those addicts who don't want to get right we're going to use these places as needs to get more drugs and means to find more clients cuz it's so easy to pull somebody down it's harder to pull somebody up trust me I know I've been dealing with this for a long time I'm 43 years old and I've been drinking alcohol and doing dope since I was a teenager. So if you're bad mouth in this place or any place that's like this it has nothing to do with them it's all on your loved ones and yourself if your family member chose to use this in the wrong manner it was their choice this establishment and no other person in the world can make anybody do anything they don't want to do it's on them they chose wrong it's on them not the people trying to help

I had 25 yrs. of drug addiction when I walked through their doors. With the willingness to change and the program available, recover is possible. Treatment is what you make of it as a patient. You have to put real work into your life. They are amazing and truly care. I have been helped by these people at 3 different locations with many different staff members, counselors and habits. I would have been dead by now if I had made other choices here and there but after approx fifteen or eighteen years, I am still standing, and I can honestly say it is because of their selfless compassion and commitment to those who ask for their help. That is the absolute real from a die hard junkie.

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing! I find this place helpful and am glad I was introduced to the program. I stayed at the transitional living also. I'm greatful for them. My only complaint is I was kicked out of transitional living because I refused to come back without my friend that ran to relapse. This caused me to break curfew by 5 hours. I was successful in my attempt to save her life. I'm not entitled to be there and would make the same decision every single time. Despite what they teach and claim to stand for my effort following those ideologies was met with hostility. I find the decision to be petty and technical showing no compassion. I have no regrets in my decision and hope they can live with theirs knowing exactly what happened and why. However I would recommend them any day of the week there are some really good people there.

Have had a great experience here so far! All of the counselors I’ve had interactions are helpful and kind. I find the all of the staff to be willing to make sure that you are assisted and have the appointments you need, etc. My sign up was easy and everything with court coordination has been fluid! All of the people in my groups are great and the atmosphere allows for sharing and vulnerability. I haven’t experienced any judgement from any one here from the staff or fellow clients! Also, the UA testing is super fast and you’re in and out in no time.

As a VA patient for the last 3 years (Ioannis A. Lougaris VA Medical Center), I have been nothing but pleased. I get service very quickly, all those who answer the phone are polite and helpful, I rarely sit on hold more than a few minutes and don't have to deal with any unhelpful "AI assistants". My most recent interaction on the afternoon of 6/15/2026 was with the Prosthetics department as I needed a new device (mine was >15 years old). The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and told me the device would be waiting for me upon arrival. I arrived within 45 minutes and the device was in fact waiting for me with the guy at the front desk so I had zero wait time. I have not found many businesses that have this kind of professionalism and response time. You all made my day - thank you!!!

The mental health dept promptly helped me get off of pain pills. Then they sent me to the Palo Alto VA where the best physician at Stanford University installed a new heart valve for me. I go there monthly and have for the past several years and not had one bad experience. Even the cafeteria ladies are sweet! (Hello Lorna, thanks for all the post workout 6 egg omelets)There aren't enough stars for this place. The constant complaints in the media and podcasts about how terrible the VA is need to go there.. and stop complaining about every little thing!
