I have been a patient here for a few years and have had to switch to a new practioner a few times due to their leaving the practice. That being said I'm always greeted at the front with a friendly smile and that means a lot! Dr. Ben is great and such a breath of fresh air. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be listened to and not rushed. He listens and I believe is an asset to this practice. I know he's on a 6 month contract but I hope he decides to stay!

This place truly saved my life. I thought I was never going to be able to live a normal life. Always trying to find my next fix, NEVER being able to be the mom I wanted to be / needed to be. I literally owe my LIFE to my counselor MISTY . I went back to school, finished, started working , got full custody, I have all the coping skills I need to survive being a functioning sober mother in life. She helped me work through my trauma. The list is endless. I can’t recommend MISTY or Vallejo Medmark enough

I was treated for non epeleptic seizures. With a workbook, individual counseling, and the support of friends I not only have had no seizures in 5 months but I have gotten rid of panic attacks. Starla, who was assigned as his counselor, has been nothing short of amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, and she truly takes the time to connect with her patients in a meaningful way. Her dedication and empathy have made a world of difference.
D has also been incredible, except her being a Cowboys fan, she is very supportive, kind, and always present. And the doctor caring for my friend has provided outstanding attention and compassion throughout his treatment.
It is clear that everyone at your facility truly cares. It shows in the way they listen, support, and treat each individual with dignity and respect. Azure Acres saved me. It mended me and gave me back myself, the true version of me that I had long lost to alcohol. I was beyond being able to help myself, but they were able to help me. Going to Azure Acres was likely the best decision of my life. It repaired me as a person, in turn allowing me to heal my relationships and build a future I couldn't see before. You will learn so much about addiction and yourself. I now have over 3 years and 7 weeks of sobriety without so much as a hiccup. The staff are incredibly caring and passionate about their jobs. If you want help, this is where you need to go. You are worth it, and you can do it.

Fair Oaks Recovery Center provided me with an opportunity to rest, reflect, and recover from a lifestyle that was slowly killing me. I was referred to F.O.R.C after insurance complications with another facility, and I thank God that I was. This truly is an incredible program. From the general and medical staff to the clinical and leadership teams, every person I had the opportunity to work with was genuinely kind, caring, and truly invested in their effort to improve the lives of those they touch. I am now happy, healthy, and sober and would never have gotten back to where I am without the daily care and support of the facility.
To anyone who needs help and healing, go to Fair Oaks and try your hardest to stay until the miracle happens. Giving up a few weeks of your life is worth saving the rest of it.

New Bridge offers an exceptionally talented team of, staff members, addiction specialist, and clinician's who've helped me address my co-occurring substances and mental health issues. The New Bridge environment (residential treatment facility, & extended satellite sober living environment), are safe and clean, and provide the type of space where I was able to successfully focus on, addiction & mental health curriculums, group therapy, as well as personalized "one-on-one" therapy/counseling sessions. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...!
What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!!
I will offer this thought to anyone who is wondering if this is the right place, or not..., "if you have a true and real desire to gain recovery, everything you will need to assist you, to help you focus, guide & support you in the process of recovery.., can be found at New Bridge..!!!" Would recommend to anyone who has the desire to change their life. Tools that will last me a lifetime and helped me learn to take accountability. Perfection isn’t possible when dealing with a lot of people who are sick, but they do a darn good job. I felt important. I felt that they always had my best interest at heart. Special shout out to all of the counselors and milieu staff who work their butts off!

I just want to thank everyone there. I got frustrated at one point because I thought I was getting a Tb shot. I heard the girl wrong. She was just doing a test. My mistake. She was a sweetheart. Everyone there including security guard was great. Dr. Was one of the best Dr's I've ever spoke with. I have a back injury that got me hooked on vics. 100.00 a day nightmare. If your on anything don't go another day without calling them. Get in there and get your life back. Trust me on this. And don't worry who knows. Who cares. Its your life. Don't be ashamed. Everyone makes mistakes. Security guard was on a power trip tho. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he was not its in inside joke. He was a great great person. And I need him to just ride safe. He has a beautiful road glide... we definitely will ride together soon. Again this is the best place to get clean and you're life back. 😇

very good place. shoutout to kylee, alex, victor, and especially therapist lisa. they could do more about the sharps though because there was legit so many sharps getting passed around while I was there. anyways this place kind of inspired me to go and work at a treatment facility because this place helped my mental health and drug issues a lot. <3
anyways it does NOT cost that much to get A/C. its absurd how how it would get since I went in the summer. like seriously dude if I ever get rich I will donate to this place myself to install A/C. The power grid cannot be that expensive bro 😭

READ THIS IF YOURE GOING HERE OR IF YOUR KID IS. I went here 2x for addiction when I was 15. I am 20 now, and I am still sober. Firstly, a lot of kids are now leaving reviews describing the no contact hold period as “traumatic and dehumanizing”. I was also extremely dramatic about the cell phone policies when I went there as a teen. If you are going here don’t be alarmed, this is standard procedure at all mental health facilities, including ones for adults. Part of it is to make sure you don’t use your phone privileges for bad reasons. My first stay here was bad because I was mad at my parents for sending me and I had no intention of getting sober. My second stay was voluntary and It was extremely beneficial. If you’re a teen and you’re going here, make the most out of it and just be positive, because the time will pass anyways. The staff here didn’t sugarcoat things or baby me, they treated me like I was an adult and told me the truth. This experience made me a lot more mature and helped put my drug addiction into perspective. I realized how it was impacting my family and where it could lead me. The school here was great, i was able to get a lot done. The time away from my phone ended up being nice. The nature surrounding the facility was beautiful. They took us on gorgeous hikes where we got to see baby cows and other animals. I returned to this area years later just to go on a hiking trip. There are a variety of kids there, I didn’t get along with a lot of them. But that’s just how it goes at mental health facilities, people with different backgrounds there for all different reasons. Years later i still talk to my friends from here often. Things have not been perfect for me since i’ve left, and if you’re sending your kid here don’t expect them to come out and be completely “cured”. But i will say that this facility showed me i can handle issues sober. It showed me that i can be a good friend and show up for other people. It showed me how much i love my family and how much they love me. It taught me how to be mature even when i didn’t want to at all. And most importantly, it taught me how looking at everything through a positive lens really can change an entire experience from a bad one to a good one. This place prepared me to handle issues like an adult. If you’re a teen and you’re going here, don’t be immature and rude to the staff. If you treat them with kindness and manners that will be reciprocated!! I loved the staff here and i think about them often. Don’t be mean to the other residents even if they are annoying and stupid, because every kid in here is going through the worst time of their life, even if you can’t understand it. Thank you muirwood, I wouldn’t be alive without this place. Now i can become a doctor to pay it forward.

My child received incredible care from the staff at Muir Woods. He has been changed for the better. The program is effective if the kid is willing to do the work. The staff is caring and incredibly supportive, allowing the kids to believe in their capacity for change.
