I learned SO MUCH in the month that I was there. I went to their outpatient program after leaving the residential house to continue group therapy. From intake to discharge, Evolve handled every step with excellence and professionalism. Evolve Calabasas provided an incredible treatment environment for our teen to grow, learn, recover, and heal. We did so much research before sending her and I don’t think we could have picked a better facility. A big thanks goes to my daughter for doing the work but without the structure, staff, therapies and activities available she wouldn’t have had the framework to succeed. Things aren’t perfect but I’m grateful for the change it’s brought our daughter and family. A huge plus is only having 6 residents, the amount of therapy they receive and the amount of communication about my child made this a positive and less scary experience. The staff at Nulife treatment center were understanding and made sure that we stayed comfortable and together. We stayed for 30 days, we got out of treatment in February and havent touched drugs since my time at Nulife. ALMOST 11 MONTHS CLEAN AND SOBER!!! Nothing will make me use again. Since then I have been promoted to foreman two months after treatment, and since gotten two pay raises. I have the respect of my bosses, family, and co workers now. She is amazing. She is there from the beginning to the end if you need anything. The first person I met at rise was Nam. He is the man he’s there for you all the time he works 20 hours a day. The man is amazing. Next, I met Zac the nurse he’s such a cool dude and listens to you and takes whatever concerns you have and it gets it fixed for you. As far as nurses Daisy, David and Nina were great. If you have real medical issues, I would not go there Dr.Raskin is a first class clown. The first time I met him, he spoke to me in the kitchen for 30 seconds and ran away. The next time I saw him was on Zoom for about 60 seconds and he got off. I had a lot of medical issues and he was not there for me. I was very disappointed in that. I refuse to see him after that that’s one of the few bad things about Rise is the doctor. If he was my employee he’d be fired. I complained about him a lot. The counselor Michael, Josh And Beth were great they listen to you and make you feel like they are helping you out. A special shout out to Cat My hippie dippy friend she is the one who does yoga and meditation. I never did that in my life before I’m an older man and she was amazing. I’m from the East Coast. The food was not that great. I was disappointed in that they have a private chef. James was the best chef That’s the only thing I could say about the food. Very disappointing. To anyone thinking or considering coming here, let this be your confirmation to start packing TODAY. This program has literally changed my life in more ways than just becoming sober. I was on heroin and meth before I admitted into detox and it's been 73 days now and the transformation is something I thought wasnt even possible for me. If you're from out of state and worried about starting over, don't be. They got you. But it starts with you deciding to make a change, and having an open mind to give them the chance to help. After your 28days, They have a badass PHP, IOP program, the facilitators are mostly recovering addicts themselves or educated drug counselors or both. These people are so freaking awesome and they genuinely care and you'll notice it immediately. I seriously can't stress enough to anyone considering coming here, if you're uncertain or hesitant about making the call...which I feel like is something every addict goes through beforehand, DO NOT LET ANYTHING OR ANYONE STOP YOU FROM THIS OPPORTUNITY. You can always go home if you want to but you can't always experience recovery like this. I had reached out to Wish after being assaulted by a staff member at another program ( not affiliated with Wish) within 20 minutes of my call James had sent a uber to pick me up. Then between James and Fran they made sure my medications and the rest of my property were picked up. I was never made to feel like I was an inconvenience and my concerns were addressed without hesitation. All of the documentation needed to support my leave from work was completed promptly and sent to the necessary departments. The therapists are amazing and the center is beautiful, clean, and staffed with courteous professionals. My house manager Matt is caring and respectful. The therapists were probably the nicest, most caring, therapists I’ve ever met. The groups here are my #1 favorite out of all of the places I’ve ever been and they are led by the therapists. While my stay there the kind, caring, love and thoughtfulness was so amazing by all the staff. The professional approach that they provided me was excellent . The classes they gave there were informing and uplifting. My therapist Anne knew how much I enjoyed walking. She would take me on walks while doing my therapy session . I truly felt love from her kind caring heart. She continues to stay in touch even though I am no longer there . The facility is clean and welcoming and the food is great. Plenty of comfortable clean beds, meds available daily for maximum comfort, and, oh yeah, tvs in every room. Outings often, amazing groups, not too many, not too few. The staff as a whole genuinely cares about you becoming a better person as they give you the tools to maintain the healthy experience to live a sober life. Carina has from day one been a pleasure to be around cuz of her sense of humor and her care in her heart of concern for each person here. Jose the main guy got me socks and boxers and the stuff I needed when I first came to. Stephanie is amazing on the medical side of things as well as all the other nurses here. Staff is what got me to stay here and they have amazing possibilities after this next step totally recommend this place for anyone seeking treatment and wanting to maintain sobriety afterwards.
