Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. Reiki, massage therapy, equine therapy, ECT. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. These people truly are there to help people. It’s hard to put into words the gratitude I have for Hotel California and its staff and treatment programs. It took me a couple tries, but I finally decided to participate and take the help I was being offered and in a month I will celebrate 4 years clean. The combination of substance abuse education, mental physical and emotional health therapy they provide is top tier. My life has changed in ways I never imagined and it all started with the love, personal care and faith that the staff at Hotel California so graciously offered to me. After many years of trying to get sober I entered the New Dawn program In Orangevale in November of 2023 for alcoholism. And like many alcoholics, I had very little hope that I would ever be able to get sober and stay sober. My life was an absolute wreck and I was out of options. New Dawn was willing to take me in so I reluctantly went. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed in by compassionate and caring staff. During my stay I I took part in all of the classes that were lead by fantastic and well experienced counselors. The housing was great and felt like home with all the amenities after a short bit. With an in house chef I enjoyed every meal to the fullest. I tremendously benefited from the one on one therapy sessions and outside AA meetings. Every step of the way I was helped with my disease, internal pain and trauma. Today I have a life I never thought was possible with a loving relationship with myself , the world I live in and the people in it. I m an active member of AA and enjoy being sober and of sound mind. I highly recommend New Dawn to anyone seeking help or for your loved ones in need. I went to this clinic years ago to find out which clinic I wanted to go to. I checked out several and decided on going to Bi Valley Bart. They took me in that day and didn't make me feel like I was Amy different from the next person. Let's be honest, we are all addicted. So, I had to choose from 2 different counselors and I went. Overall pleasant excellent caring compassionate staff. Communication on appointments and reminders is excellent. I get a text and notice in the mail. Most complaints I read are from those not familiar with how VA healthcare works. The Auburn Clinic is not an urgent care facility.

Amazing program with a lot of really amazing staff members who are extremely caring and understanding I took advantage of the anger management classes as well as parenting classes my favorite and most helpful education course they provided when I was a resident that I use in my daily life was the communication a d boundaries class, it helps me build stronger healthier relationships and put and end to any toxic one that would potentially be hazardous to my recovery, I showed up there with nothing. Within 8 months of successfully completing the program without deviating I was able to clear up my out standing court cases, got my license back! a steady job! A vehicle! My teeth fixed! They took my to my dental appointments. I now have a beautiful smile and my confidence back as well as my self respect and able to get past my barriers and start accomplishing my goals, and building my relationships I ruined and repairing the bridges I burned.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen!Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. I spent 37 days at this incredible house. Beginning with the inquiry process to the Discharge Plan everyone was helpful and efficient. The staff: Shelli, Kristin, Tyan and Allie were so invested in each of our(8 women) recovery. The daily schedule included pertinent therapy ( both individual and group sessions) exercise, self-care, meditation and reflection time. Again, all aspects of the program including the nutritious food were EXCELLENT! The medical staff: Michelle, Mia, and Pam and Lynasia were kind and efficient. I cannot say enough about this facility. I came in with low self esteem and not much self-love. Through the loving guidance of the staff and clients here, I left a different person: confident, knowledgeable of coping techniques, full of self respect and love. A place I would totally recommend. It's a place where people from all walks of life can face their addictions and not be embarrassed. The staff, owners, and the other 97% of affiliates that you encounter are all in recovery which makes it even better. Cause how can a person understand your fight who has never fought themselves. And the gourmet chef who cooks all your meals is even more of a plus. Swimming in the summer, volleyball, and your family can also come to visit. Your not overwhelmed with meetings constantly. You actually learn about addiction and what your going through while working the steps at your own pace without the pressure of expectations. It's an experience to remember truly.

They make you eat a lot and get little to no exercise. Every moment of every day you re sitting in a poorly lit group room for hours on end. You can t walk around freely. There was a cook named Madeline or something like that and she was easier to accidentally trigger than the other patients. Courtney has a superiority complex, but not as insufferable as Braden s god complex. Meanwhile I think his name was Austin, reminded me of the skater preacher from one episode of King of The Hill. Also he gets upset at you for cussing. I was there in like 2019?

The therapists and dieticians provide tangible skills for clients and family members to overcome the harms of eating disorders. Once you trust the treatment team, anything is possible.If the client wants to leave initially, that's normal: recovery takes trust and time. Trust that the treatment team can help the client more than the eating disorder. Lean into the groups, validate the pain and celebrate the progress.They will work with you to find a step-down program to empower you to maintain recovery in lower levels of care. My son attended this RTC recently and was there for close to 2 months. Our experience at this location was better than I was expecting. My son's therapist Jessica was so caring and dedicated, she was firm, but loving, and worked with him to give him tools to be in a much better place leaving than where he started. Sara the other therapist was also fantastic. Although I didn't meet all the staff, my son made mention of other supporting staff members that he connected with.
