There are not words to describe the care and compassion I have experienced.. I recently called to discuss treatment for a dear friend of mine who is struggling with alcohol use. Haley is the outreach coordinator I spoke with and she was so caring and kind. She talked with me about all the options and listened to everything I said. We then worked with heather who was also amazing and not pushy in any way. We ended up going another direction with his care but know in our hearts that they will be our GO TO if or when he is ready for this journey. As someone who works in the field I know this can be such a difficult time for people and now having watched my absolute best friend struggle I can honestly say they handled everything with such grace. Thank you for your care and compassion New Dawn. I truly appreciate it.

Amazing facility. The therapists and counselors were very attentive and caring. Going to treatment is one of the hardest things a person will have to do in their life and they made my stat much easier than they had to.
The variety of classes they expose you to makes it a lot easier to understand that there is no one right way to get better, and that you have to find what works for you.

Rocklin, California | The Pathway Program is a recovery facility for teens and young adults aged 13-25 in Rocklin, California. Their specialized residential, outpatient, and aftercare programs help your child achieve recovery from addiction and mental health conditions. Their programs focus on creating an engaging space where young people can open up and achieve their r | Programs Payment Options | The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.
The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.
The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.
There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.
I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful to have found Pathways! When we finally realized our 17 year old daughter had a drug and alcohol problem we had no idea where to turn. There didn’t seem to be many options for young people. We reached out to Pathways and found a welcoming program that instantly felt like family! It was a slow start for our daughter to want to be sober, but with the tools the program provided and the love and support of the group, she is almost 8 months clean and sober. Her entire outlook has changed. She’s living her life from a place of honesty and being of service to others. She has like-minded friends in the program that support her in enthusiastic sobriety. We are so thankful to have found a place that helped her make these things happen!
Another aspect of Pathways that we appreciate is the parent support group. This was key as it helped us to make the right moves to help our daughter heal and move forward. It provided support, tools, and encouragement.
I wish every city had a great place like this for teens and young adults to heal and find happiness! If you are looking for a place to help your kid (and you) through the challenge of addiction this is it!

For me, being at Pathways was a life changing experience and continues to be as I go through each day fortified with healing information, self respect, many learned life and recovery lessons and coping skills infused and nurtured by the staff at Pathways. A place I would totally recommend. It's a place where people from all walks of life can face their addictions and not be embarrassed. The staff, owners, and the other 97% of affiliates that you encounter are all in recovery which makes it even better. Cause how can a person understand your fight who has never fought themselves. And the gourmet chef who cooks all your meals is even more of a plus. Swimming in the summer, volleyball, and your family can also come to visit. Your not overwhelmed with meetings constantly. You actually learn about addiction and what your going through while working the steps at your own pace without the pressure of expectations. It's an experience to remember truly.

Granite Bay, California | Center for Discovery Granite Bay, located in Granite Bay, California, provides treatment to women ages 16 to 26 whose primary diagnosis is an eating disorder. They are located in a calming, rural location that allows for relaxation and a focus on recovery. Center for Discovery is an eating disorder treatment organization. The organization has multi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was at CFD twice; first in 2019 and again in 2020 during Covid. Treatment isn’t fun. It’s hard. You’re forced to step outside of your comfort zone. My first time at cfd I didn’t want to be there at all (honestly was just there to get medically cleared so I could go back to school) but it took going back a year later and spending 7 weeks there for me to realize and appreciate how much I needed treatment at the time. I would just say to anyone planning on coming here: have an open mind. Every person stepping through the doors of residential is suffering. And I understand you if you’re afraid of letting go of your ED. It’s valid. It is scary. But it’s also incredibly fulfilling to be freed from disordered eating. It is a beautiful process: learning to love yourself. It’s not easy. There was a lot of tears. But you’re surrounded by peers who understand exactly what you’re going through and the group therapy sessions help a lot. If your family cares enough to support you in your recovery please show gratitude because not everyone has a family there to cheer them on or come visit them while they’re struggling. Cherish your loved ones and be grateful for life everyday. Food isn’t the enemy. Food nourishes the soul and body and you deserve to be happy! Also it’s nice to cheer each other on in treatment. I know EDs can be competitive and even if you don’t mean to you might subconsciously end up comparing yourself to the other patients (idk maybe not but I did) but realize that you are both there for the purpose of healing and recovering and comparing yourself to another sick individual isn’t getting anyone anywhere. Instead focus on yourself and tell ur peers ur proud of them if u notice they struggled but got through a meal. It’s important to be there for each other. I’m reallyyyyy shy but to this day I’m still in touch with some of the other girls I met at cfd. It’s great. Also.. JOURNAL! journal everything. Every emotion. Every outburst. It’s healing. If you’re spiritually inclined, right now is the perfect time to get close to your higher power. You won’t have your phone for the most part so reading the Bible, praying, etc…. Now is the time to do that haha god is great. Especially when you think no one else is there for you. Nobody forces religion or spirituality on you here it’s not like the 12 steps in AA/NA but I’m just saying getting closer to god is such a bonus and will aid you tremendously in your recovery process if you seek him out. Good luck to everyone in their recovery journey!! You got this! Can’t really speak for their current staff but I had great support from the therapists and nurses (especially) at the time when I was there. Hopefully it’s the same or better now!

Tbh I hated this place with my whole soul when I came there. I’m a peaceful person and I was arguing with staff. But it changed my life. Like hallelujah god sent me there to have the best therapist who was so patient with my argumentative self. Literally if you actually learn and apply it to your life it changes everything. Like I used to dread every meal but now I can enjoy food again and it’s wonderful. (Eating isn’t the problem. It’s all ego. It’s how your brain survives in or after trauma) But omg was it the hardest therapy program in my whole life. 10/10 would do it again

This place does not have employees; it has angels from heaven. Robin and the other staff were attentive, caring, and lovely beings who help many people come out of a difficult place stronger. As I drove into a sunset recently, this song that I had added to my playlist thanks to Robin came on, and it rang true.
Song: You feel like you're falling backwards
Like you're slippin' through the cracks
Like no one would even notice
If you left this town and never came back
You walk outside and all you see is rain
You look inside and all you feel is pain
And you can't see it now
But down the road the sun is shining
In every cloud there's a silver lining
Just keep holding on (just keep holding on)
And every heartache makes you stronger
But it won't be much longer
You'll find love, you'll find peace
And the you you're meant to be
I know right now that's not the way you feel
But one day you will...
Thank you Robin and all. Stay blessed.

I approached this service with some uncertainty, not knowing exactly what to expect. However, my counselor, Paul, turned out to be incredible. He provided immense support during a challenging period in my life, offering guidance and clarity when I was feeling lost. His flexibility in scheduling sessions was particularly appreciated, as it demonstrated his commitment to accommodating my needs.
Moreover, Paul’s kindness wasn’t just limited to me. He consistently showed compassion and understanding towards everyone in our classes, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
