Hi I went through the Singing Trees Recovery program in 2001. The experience was so spiritual. I am an addict and they helped me get clean, stay clean, and so much more! I got to meet myself for the first time in a Long time not to mention some good people whom I call my Friends and my 2nd Family I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs help!
The staff are excellent and have all been in my shoes at one time their life so they counsel with real experience on your level not just out of a text book. Because they have a story too. I learned a whole new way of life. You can get so much out of this program if you want it.

The Medical Care provided by the VA Health Care Department is superb. It is the best benefit an honorably discharged or disabled veteran gets for their time in the military. So much better then medicare or medicaid. They will provide the best medical care it's possible to get any where and if they can't, they will find out who can and send you there. I'm glad I'm a vet who's got full VA Medical coverage and wish every one in the USA had access to this kind of medical care.

All the staff were professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful with every aspect of my recovery. Group therapy was organized and meaningful. Individual counselors provided great support for me and my family. The after care plan is amazing and supportive once you leave the inpatient stay.

My personal experience at new start in concord is was phenomenal. I spent 31 days in the residential program including detox and all around had such a great experience that it was difficult to leave. To start, the medical staff while I was in detox took care of all of my needs. The med techs, nurse practitioners and doctors made sure that I had a comfortable experience while going through the scary process of withdrawing. Not once did I run out of medication and they always made me feel like they cared for my wellbeing and safety. While in residential, the counselors, group facilitators, therapists, and case managers were amazing! Each and every one of them. They had so much knowledge, experience and education, and I learned so much. My personal therapist, Mellisa was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me dig deep and figure out the root causes of my issues that were tied to my past traumas. The family sessions were also extremely helpful. Moving onto the assistant Director and head Director, who both truly cared about the program, the clients, and their staff. It was evident in how the program ran like a perfect machine. They also took us on fun outings, like bowling and going to the beach. The facility was comfortable, clean and well organized. We have full-time staff that keep each bedroom and area of the buildings clean and provided the clients with all of our basic needs. I want to give a shout out to Ofi who was like everyone’s mom. We had some awesome amenities too like a gym, A game room, and an outside movie theater with a fire pit. I will truly miss my time at New Start in Concord, and will forever be grateful for this experience. Thank you :)

Today is my "clean date" and as of TODAY I have 1 year clean and sober. This Facility saved my life! I've made several attempts at sobriety before stepping into New Dawn, but none of them approached the disease of addiction like New Dawn. They have such a different approach at treating addiction. Reiki, massage therapy, equine therapy, ECT. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. These people truly are there to help people. If you're considering getting sober New Dawn is, in my opinion, the best treatment center in the state of California. Possibly the country.

I have been to 8 treatment centers from Sacramento to Michigan and I can honestly say that skyway house has been the best treatment that I have received BY FAR. The counselors Andy, Veronica, and Madeline actually really care and aren't there for the paycheck. They take an active role in every clients recovery weather they are your counselor or not. The support staff is top notch as well. I came in with virtually nothing. Taylor and Amy and Ajanna literally helped save my life. From listening to my problems to playing cards with me and loaning me books to read. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful place.

Entering treatment at New Start (Bangor) was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life!
Everyone one on staff - from the drivers, yard crew, cleaning team, cooks, nurses, counselors, therapists, and management team are some of the most caring and competent people I’ve ever met!
Naturally, I was nervous to enter treatment (largely due to previous issues with the VA), but New Start helped restore my hope and completely exceeded my expectations!

When I came to California in October 2022, I had no clue as to what I was going to do. I had been homeless since 2017. My wife convinced me to come out this way. I came from southern Alabama. As of today I cab honestly say I am humbled. This place has been there when I came looking for help. They ask me how I'm doing on a regular basis. They are non judgemental about whom you might have been. They only see you as you are today. And that alone is the most blessed felling I have come to know. This place is amazing. I went for behavioral health and every part of the experience, from the front desk offering coffee, to the intake coordinator, to the therapist that helped me during one of the lowest times of my life, was beyond anything I would have ever expected from a non-profit for low income folks. I am so grateful for the care I received here.

My son has been coming here since he was 1 week old... These guys are amazing. I love that they have a separate entrance for newborns and the car check INS for when or little ones are sick. Also there has never been a day that I have been turned away for the same day appointment as long as I call by 8:00 a.m. Thank you for being so great!

I was a case manager for both in-patient and out-patient. It was a joy helping others. What a person puts into their recovery is what they'll get.
Campobello was a good recovery center. I am glad to see Camp is still around. There are alot of people and their families, who got their lives back on track there.

Saved my damn life and I had NOTHING coming. Ok? I was absolutely worthless and they looked beyond that. Gave me something I never could ever imagine having; hope. Disregard negative reviews. These people don't understand or are not ready to get clean. Wendy, along with all the staff, pierced my veil of darkness with a little bit of light. Thank you. It will never be forgotten.

What can I say, this place was the start of my recovery and sobriety. I can't believe at the time I am writing this review I currently have two years and one month of continuous sobriety. Campo, seemed just like yesterday. I spent 30 days at this place and learned about the 12 steps, got a sponsor right at a meeting held at the facility and got serious about recovery. I hold Campo near and dear to my heart. The staff really cares about you; they absolutely want you to succeed in your recovery. Very home like and smaller groups of people recovering from alcohol and addiction compared to other rehabilitation centers. Campobello is a HUGE part of my recovery and my journey. I went to the ER the first night I checked in due to my detox. The staff new exactly what to do and were very professional. I encourage you, if you think you may be an addict or alcoholic, know that you are, or have a family member who needs recovery, check Campobello out and give them a call. This disease is cunning, baffling and powerful! Without help, it is too much for us! I have THE BEST life I could ask for because of AA and recovery; it all started at Campo! I would have most likely been dead if I had not gone to rehab. Thank you Camobello and staff members! You have truly been a blessing! Put in the work and keep coming back. What you put into recovery is what you get out of recovery. Now I try to carry the message to the next suffering alcoholic and be of service. I am responsible...
