Duffy’s | Treatments Programs Payment Options | There are wonderful things about Duffy's- but also things that aren't. Amazing trust between residents and wonderful small groups, beautiful nature, delicious food, and really comfortable rooms. Some staff were like gold and others wronged me to the point that a full investigation was conducted. The results were in my favor, which thankfully led to a change in policy. There is some trauma there and some staff are truly as cold as ice. But I want to emphasize that the ones that shine saved my life.
EDIT
Interesting that you did not address the negative experience which was major. I’m not griping, just think it’s best practices to give actual feedback and acknowledge that each of us is human with individual experiences.

I am mostly pleased with my time at Duffys. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. I have been sober for two years.
My concerns are the following. The staff as good as they were definitely had favorites. From reading the nightly N/a /a/a meetings to other stuff. Also there is an administrative leak when it comes to housing. I stayed in the villa which is a somewhat private area. Somehow the ladies in adjoining Villa knew ahead of time who my roommate was going to be and the were right I thought this was strange that they knew before me who was living in the Villa.
Most importantly in the bigger picture of my journey in Sobriety they were good. My counselor Mary was the best. (, Ive been sober for over two years and the friends I met there are still my friends to this day. Thank you Duffys for 2.5 years of Sobriety

I'm Kurt Duncan from paradise, ca and thanks to Azure acres I'm a recovering addict. Today i have 31 days clean. Might not seem like alot of time, but if you ever tried to get clean. You'll know that it is! It's a miracle! Calling Azure Acres was one of the hardest, and best thing I've ever done in my life. As soon as they picked up the phone ( second ring) I felt a weight lift off my chest. I knew from that moment, i wasn't alone anymore. When I showed up, I was greeted with open arms, like family. Everyone everyday was so nice, and happy. It made my stay there easier, and everyday got better and better. The clients were all happy, with a glow about them I can't explain, magical. I'd like to mention everyone by name but there's way to many. But Brad your the bomb! We clicked the moment we met, and that was Hugh for me. And a special thanks to Cassy. Without her and her counseling I would still be lost, she knows what she is doing. The whole staff is very skilled and professional. Thr house's are very clean, and I can't say enough about the food. The cook can cook! And also cares about us addicts. I would recommend Azure Acres above any other treatment center. Definitely a 5 star+ outfit. Thank you Azure Acres for being a big part of my recovery. TO THE HOUSE! TO THE STAFF! TO RECOVERY!

I don t normally leave reviews, but I wanted to make a comment to any staff that reads this:Thank you so much for providing everyone a support system on the farm to help us grow as human beings. I left the farm almost 8 years ago now, and I ve been sober ever since. I moved from my hometown to San Francisco, worked jobs, went to school, got a career, continued my sobriety, went to N.A. meetings, got a girlfriend, got healthier, went to therapy, and I have been able to live my life without the toxicity of drugs plaguing me daily. I made really good friends on the Farm as well, and I even roomed with one of them afterwards, for a short period. This facility and its staff really helped me and when I get a car I would love to come up and visit. I am now a SUD I counselor giving back to my community because I know what it feels like to start recovery, alone. Much love to everyone out there struggling with substance abuse issues, you are strong and you can overcome anything you put your mind to. Without a doubt, SRTP is 1 of the 3 reasons I have been clean for a long time now. Without their counseling aswell as the way I have been treated by the desk staff and the nurses, it has been amazing. Without Santa Rosa Treatment Program it's crazy to think about what would have happened and where I'd be, especially as a father. If I didn't receive the treatment that I do at SRTP I most certainly would not have been able to keep clean. Sometimes, it's important to stick with the treatment from everyone there, even the staff you think is wrong at the time. They're there to help you reach the area that's best for you, not for them. I guess what I can say is that SRTP is an amazing place to go for the treatment they give, but also for the way that the staff acts while doing so. As addicts we're incredibly lucky to have all the staff at SRTP be part of the process of keeping clean. There's also the fact that if you get and stay clean for some time, you begin to get take home doses so you don't have to deal with the staff every day. Nor do they have to see you, which may be solving any issues. Keep up doing what's best for you to keep taking steps forward and they're behind you as you go. THANK YOU Santa Rosa Treatment Program!!! Is the very least I could say.

And doubt without my brothers then I seen pastor Sonny his son who would've Neva came to if I knew he was one of the shop customers and me fighting my life choices and god-parents on every level and my career choices.I read stories of Esther watch movies of courage and write some many scriptures of loyalty to the word and stories of triumph over binds of color and status.Watched plays of celebration , romance threw every service gave unconditional with a bias black heart still I put my hand in was taught lessons of trust in blindspots. And brought back of memories in A.A meeting them in disguise traveling threw the bay area and then finding a victory home an my own terms in my homelands near my mom. Was here back in April(2024), got placed on a 5150. Lowkey a safe haven if you hate your home life. They say try not to come back but then give me a good time over there . 9/10 would attempt again, just to be there.Comparing everything from my personal life to this place, it was effing heaven. No responsibilities, no school, no homework, no chores, free food, free showers, free clothes, free soap, free shampoo, free lotion. What more could you ask for?!! This place is like a haven. Hell I wished the world babied me like they did for me there. Just follow the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated and you shall be rewarded accordingly. This got a 4/5 because they treat you very well. Sure it gives you hope but when you feel all better they release you back into the open world of suffering. This place won t fix you but it will definitely hold the burden of responsibility for a while. If you need a break from life, put yourself under 5150. Mental health is a serious issue and give yourself the break you deserve and admit yourself there(if you have insurance).

This place helped me so much. I was very hesitant at first when saw the reviews but I had quite the opposite experience. When I requested to speak to a psychiatrist the Dr made time and talked to me and took his time to explain what was going on and how I could recover. He gave me hope. Staff was friendly and attentive.

| Ford Street Project, located in Ukiah, California is a non-profit alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions including alcoholism, co-occurring mental health disorders, and opiate addiction. They offer supervised medical treatment to safely manage withdrawal symptoms during detoxification, residential c | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've been to many detox and recovery programs over the years, and Ford Street Project gave me one of the best experiences I've had. They made me feel like part of a big family, not scrutinized over every little thing like at other places, such as HRC. The only drawbacks were the sleeping arrangements and the mattresses, but that's easily fixed with a personal mattress pad for extra comfort. The men and women are housed separately in large dormitories with partitions, so you still have a sense of personal space. This setup helped me bond with the other women, making us feel closer. Maybe I was lucky to have been with serious, committed individuals, but I know the staff would have addressed any issues if they had arisen amongst the roomates. Aside from the sleeping conditions, I absolutely loved this place. Even with the sleeping arrangements being a little rough it is absolutely still totally worth it and just by bringing an extra mattress pad from home u have turned an uncomfortable situation into one completely bearable. Also, you can smoke anytime, which is great when you're up half the night detoxing and don't want to be locked in with an alarm set at 9 PM. If you're considering this place for detox, bring a comfy mattress pad and give them a try they're awesome and made me feel at home. Thanks, Ford Street Project!
