I had been going to Victory Outreach for a while, but for many reasons this church felt more like a cult than a church. The organization has sketchy vibes, but many of the people were still very kind.1. At first, the ministry team s job is to make you feel extremely welcomed. They welcome you and make you feel very loved. They will offer you vip parking , goodie bags, and ask for your name and contact information. This made me want to keep coming back, but as I continued to go, I continuously noticed more red flags.2. The church asks for a lot of money, and will manipulate you into feeling guilty if you can t donate. They spend 5-10 minutes each service asking people to donate in order to be closer to God. There are many conventions and retreats that cost hundreds of dollars and are extremely advertised. While I was there, the church was told about the winter retreat but hardly any information on the event was given until last minute.3. Victory Outreach spreads hate and judgement. They are constantly speaking down upon homosexuality, and will also judge others for their political views. They also care more about what people are doing wrong than what they could do to help people change.4. They will make you feel guilty when missing a service or meeting. If you are unable to attend service for a certain amount of time, they will contact you about it or cause you to feel guilty once you return. The Sunday services are usually about 2 hours long. They will keep you coming by performing loud upbeat music and having a welcoming atmosphere, but once you dive deeper you will discover red flags that many people aren t paying attention to.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Clients receiving treatment at an outpatient rehab typically do not require hospitalization or intensive supervision and support. Outpatient addiction counseling and recovery education are often offered during the morning, evening, night, and weekend, allowing clients to tailor treatment to their own schedule. Partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs are the most time-intensive and are designed for clients who are at an increased relapse risk and/or who need more robust therapeutic support.
inpatient iconInpatient
Inpatient rehab provides intensive treatment for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Unlike outpatient drug rehab, clients receiving inpatient care reside at the facility for the duration of the program. The length of stay may range from two weeks to 18 months or more, depending on the client's needs and the program's design. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive addiction education and recovery-focused life skills training.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

My baby (teenager) and I have been attending Victory Outreach since Easter of this year. They put on a beautiful production! We kept going back because we felt welcomed every time we attended. I felt the presence of God and I wanted more. Everyone has been so wonderful and encouraging in making the choice to go back every week. I love going on Thursday evenings when the chaos of the week is building up; I get to go and feel renewed by Gods word that is preached here. Some people I know from a long time ago when my mother attended this church (many, many years ago),but most of the congreation are new to me. Pastor Jose, Pastor James, and Pastor Joey are truly anointed and God is using them in mighty ways. I am so blessed and thankful that they are still here after all these years so that I could have a church to go back to. 🧡 When I go I see so many different faces from many different backgrounds all coming together in one accord to praise & worship God. I have never felt like I do not belong, felt out of place or like they want something from me and think that is extremely important in a church when you are new and seeking God. 🙏🏽 I pray God continues to work through this church in reaching many lost souls like he has for me. 🫶🏽

This place should not be considered a church. The staff there judged and bullied my cousin out of there. The staff spoke about them in a service and they were not anything you should mention in a service. If you want a great experience worshiping do not go here.
