Angie welcomed me with open arms, her radiant smile and vibrant energy instantly making me feel safe and seen. She tailored my experience with such care that I always felt supported and comfortable. The program itself is exceptional comprehensive and deeply personal. From licensed psychotherapists and medical doctors to psychiatrists, nurses, holistic therapies, case management, personal training, and even a private chef, every detail is designed to nurture healing in body, mind, and spirit. I want to share my experience at Rise Malibu. I started 2 months ago for a 30 day inpatient treatment. In one word I would describe my experience as AMAZING!! I have been to other facilities before but this experience is life changing. Its still early in my recovery, (60 days so far) so I can't speak long term yet. My main therapist Dr Mark was incredible, and had approaches to sobriety that I had never heard of before. Terry, Michael, Cat, Gina, Tim and were all awesome therapists with differing methods of treating addiction. Not just AA which was enlightening to me. As a holistic sceptic, I was very surprised at how it helped me, especially the breathing techniques. I will utilize the breathing and yoga techniques the rest of my life. The support people at the facility John and Nam were great. Offering walks and hikes all the time as well as the Sunday outing. Especially enjoyed just talking about life with John who is a wonderful person and family man. The nurses Paige, Sherri and Zach were awesome to talk to and took very good care of me. The Chef Bryce is a 5 star chef who could work at the best restaurants. The food was great. The facility is beautiful with views of the ocean from every room and a pool on top floor where I stayed. Ron, the owner is a great guy and he really does care. That's why he does this. I talked to him for an hour on my first call to Rise and he actually answers the phone himself every time I called the number. Again, it's his passion to help people. The staff started talking about an aftercare plan 10 days after I joined the facility and I had a fully set up aftercare plan complete before I even came home. I very much look forward to writing back again in 6 months as I continue my recovery. In summary I don't think you can find a better place. Rise has saved my life on numerous occasions! The staff alone is super amazing that they have become my family. I cannot speak highly of all the times I have been through Rise. The peaceful ocean setting , the warm pool, the delicious meals, the wonderful group therapies, the wonderful group outings, comfortable room accommodations (and very private!!) make the whole experience absolutely wonderful and such a blessing. Will forever be blessed by Rise and the wonderful people there that make it so special and fabulous. Revive was a great experience. The first week was rough for myself but after finding a balance within myself and being able to attend groups I was able to acquire the tools I needed to maintain my sobriety.

I have been battling addiction since my early twenties and thought that I had tried everything but always left treatment centers feeling like I should have gotten more or like I had more problems then before I got there. After leaving Hollywood Hills I feel the complete opposite. From the first time I spoke with Nick, who is one of the owners, I felt like they really cared about helping me. I am not from the area and they helped me get to the treatment center and i probably never would have made it if it hadn't been from that alone. From there I was greeted by smiles, hugs and encouraging amounts of love. The groups were fun and enlightening and not mundane and cookie cutter. It's like they someone actually put themselves in my shoes for once because I could feel the empathy and compassion from all of the staff and the other clients. I was given one on one therapy session by a licensed therapist and had the opportunity to look into my problems and past the obvious. My medical needs were attended to. If I wasn't in group and was going through something there was always someone there was always a qualified individual there that would listen to me or even watch a movie with me. I feel like me again and I would be lying if I said that I would feel that way even if I didn't go to Hollywood Hills Recovery. Diverse and dynamic curriculum that keeps days from feeling mundane/repetitive, the groups are not cookie-cutter bs. Antonio’s class is always a full house! He is able to make behavioral modification happen on the spot. We had four people relinquish their vapes, and one by one threw them away in the trashcan. He puts 110% into saving lives here, and he’s a local celebrity here for good reason, and it’s more than his motivational classes, it’s his on-point mentorship.

I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn’t for Avedis I don’t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

To morning groups and connections at AA meetings and finding the right people who understands what you’re going through. Also they help you find sober living after completing the program so you can continue on the right path.

I had the privilege of coming here for detox and couldn't be more appreciative of the staff and accommodations here. I stayed for 2 weeks and was constantly catered to by all of the staff. Truly a 5 star experience while going through the worst time of my life. The people here truly treat you like their own family. I don't know how they manage to deal with several emotional people all day every day and still manage to give everybody specialized individual attention but they do. I came in there like a wrecking ball and they still took great care of me. Even the chefs cater to everybody's personal needs. I'll be 200 days sober in 2 days and probably wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for this place. A very delayed review, but anybody questioning if they should stay here or not should have no question about it and choose Maple Moon for their recovery.

MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

The detox is great. Awesome staff that cares and is patient with every client. It’s not a “one shoe fits all” we all have different issues. I don't have enough good to say about this team. They really helped my kids when we hit a rough spot. One even started with a strained relationship with food. After some time and help from the Hillcrest team things have really improved for our family.

Well I used to be a junkie and then I was a hypocrite but now I am not either. Thx to everyone at summit. Hopefully I can keep being a living testimony even though I don't want my real name googleable due to my job and the unfortunate stigma associated with addiction, but I am proud of being a graduate (broad sense of the word) of this place.

I had no idea what to expect when I arrived. I came from a scandal, a storm, a situation so shocking that simply stepping onto the grounds felt like reprieve. Anything was better than where I had been. The first days blurred into each other as they always do and then thirty more slipped by like champagne bubbles bursting in a glass. What I know for certain is this: I emerged different. Elevated. Refined. Better. I grew. And with Kam and Amaris at my side, they grew as well because proximity to me tends to do that. When I left, I slipped into the backseat of an Uber. The radio crackled to life, and Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On” began. A cliché? Perhaps. But sometimes the universe sends clichés because they’re true. If that isn’t a benediction, then what is? Would I have preferred fewer sun salutations and more imagination? Yes. Less yoga, shorter classes, and perhaps Rock to Recovery or an art session something tangible to carry home, a relic of transformation. Then again, I could have painted something myself, couldn’t I? In the end, what mattered was rhythm: seven days of classes, steady as a drumbeat, reinforcing muscle memory, re-teaching me the cadence of being alive. Sober, no champagne in hand ever again. But an arms length away.

I liked Summit cause the house was actually pretty, food way better than most places I’ve been, and groups weren’t boring. Learned a lot, got some real education that stuck. Meetings were optional which I liked, they don’t shove AA down your throat. Even saw the actual owner hanging with clients which you don’t see much. Groups could’ve been shorter and maybe more variety but whatever, not a dealbreaker. Some clients came in that didn’t really fit but staff handled it quick. My therapist was solid, just wish I got more time with her. Overall not perfect, but better than most and I left with more than I came in with Food: I liked it and my bed was comfortable but the flashlight in my eye every little while was a nightmare lol
