I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. Just celebrated 8 years sobriety! This place saved my life. They are very well organized and understand treatment and recovery. I wasn't necessarily very open-minded in the beginning but I'm so glad I didn't quit and leave not everybody stays sober and I understand that and this place doesn't guarantee anything however it is a beginning and for me it was pivotal. Every day is a new day to embrace change. I learned that from MFI.
I am forever grateful! Stay connected to the people in recovery and more importantly be available and responsible for people that need the help and you can keep your recovery. First thing you put in front of your sobriety is the second thing you will lose.

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days.
Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be.
It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this.
If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations.
If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities.
Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!

This place is amazing. The staff are so amazing and caring. I truly couldn’t have made it through this journey without them. Maria is the best case manager, she is truly inspirational and spreads positivity everywhere. The medical staff is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The house monitors help you every step of the way and make sure you’re taken care of 24/7. All of the groups are targeted towards your recovery and are so helpful. This was my third time through rehab and found it the best, well run and most effective treatment I’ve been through. Maria and staff have a well structured program, with engaging assignments that are on-point. I am best prepared to avoid relapse. I would recommend Cornerstone to any addict serious about getting sober!

This place was a literal gift from god. I am beyond thankful for the program as a whole but also the staff like hip-hop Darrel and Andy also nurse mike made a huge impact on my sobriety. I could not have asked for a better program and a special thank you to miss maria for having my back and making sure I had enough packets lol I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sober forever. I was with them for 2 years and they are really awesome. DR.RUTH is a very caring person and understands what your going through and wants to help you. As for the team Once you get to know the girls in the front they are so cool and very helpful. I had 3 counselors my first counselor I did have a problem with, but I got transfer to another counselor which was the supervisor and she was one of the best ones I had and Mike he is another counselor that is awesome. Kim is another supervisor for the front office and she is amazing. I am very happy to get to know everyone there.

2024 was a transformative year for me, and a big part of that was due to my time at A Peace of Mind. As a first-time resident in a sober living environment, I didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and understood.
The house provided a safe and structured environment that was crucial for my recovery. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable, and always available to offer guidance. They truly cared about my progress and went above and beyond to ensure I had the tools and resources I needed to succeed.
What I loved most was the sense of community. The other residents became like family to me, and we supported each other through every step of our journeys. The group meetings, activities, and shared experiences helped me build strong, lasting connections that I know will continue long after leaving the house.
This sober living house didn’t just give me a place to stay; it gave me a fresh start, hope for the future, and the strength to continue on my path to sobriety. My bed was right next to the ice cold AC and I would sleep like a baby! I always wanted to be home. I love the Old Victorian look and feel. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they’ve done for me. I went here after being released from prison. My parole agent got me a bed here and this place was okay. Food okay not too many classes and they didn't choke you out with AA. This was during COVID pandemic so family visiting was difficult but drop-offs were okay. My parole agent couldn't have been more pleased I stuck it out. This is hands down the best rehab out there. I am grateful I found this hidden gem. This place turned my life around and provided a tenth and final opportunity at life for me. I'm not the one to write reviews often, but I have to say that Chapman House helped me keep one of the best employees on track, and I could never think that I'll ever worry about my people that much. But after I learned about my assistant's cocaine addiction, I understood that I had to do something about it, and I decided to contact this addiction treatment center. I am a 55-yr old woman who stayed at Chino Hills for 40 days. Even though I was the oldest person in the house, everyone patients and staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I believed in the phase system and the groups. Even when insurance was trying to kick me out after one week, the clinical team fought for me to stay!! The mental health techs were wonderful. Very supportive. They were available for check-ins when needed and taught us how to manage any conflicts that arose in the house. I fully applied myself during my time here and took advantage of everything I participated to use as a learning experience. I cannot say enough about Chino Hills. When I was discharged, I thanked my therapist Jaclyn... not for saving my life, but for helping me to save my own life!! And for that I will be eternally grateful. I came out as a whole new person, excited about my future and ready to learn who I am as a person. Thank you so much Nicole and the staff!! Superb human beings.

This place impacted my in a way I cannot describe. This is the best MH treatment I have ever received. The amazing staff made me feel emotionally safe to open up. I feel that there was a balance of understanding, respect for the client's needs and a real desire to help me in treatment and with that sensitivity I was truly able to trust, learn and improve!

I came here right after my second time in detox. Aftercare was something I failed to accept the first time around so even though I was hesitant, I knew deep down that without it I was destined to relapse again. I came here completely lost and broken, with no hope and just a complete wreck. I was drinking myself away due to my father's death and I wanted to quit, but I didn't know how. I was reclusive and anti-social so the last thing I wanted to do was be in a group and share the dark thoughts inside my head. But once I finally started to slowly open up I realized that everyone here could relate and empathize because they too were once lost and broken like I was. Little did I know that this place would become the foundation for my recovery today and the change I needed to begin a new life.
I can honestly say with all sincerity and through first-hand experience that the owner Ron along with all the staff here truly care about everyone that walks through that door. So much so that they believed in me when I didnt have the strength to believe in myself and they saved my life. I've met some awesome people and I've seen some truly amazing things happen here and I believe this place is truly different from any other place I've ever been to. To anyone that feels lost in addiction and in life like me, I truly recommend this place. Give yourself a chance to begin again. The facilitator were excellent. Of course there are always things to complain about but overall it was a good experience. I lov Carmen the tech, Drew the tech. I liked 95% of the staff. I am deeply grateful for Bryan the CEO for giving me the opportunity to receive help for 26 days although there was a mistake with my insurance . They could have thrown me out but they didn’t.Believe me I tried to get out but they would not let me leave. They knew I wasn’t ready. I am also grateful for Brian the person that calls me almost every week. Without him and the program I don’t I ever would have been able to throw in the towel. He listened to me cry every week after I was released. After release I found it had to stay clean. Not because of the program, because I did not want to do what I was told. I hung on to him until I was ready. I am clean today. I am deeply grateful for all of the love and support I received. Some of us need that love and support from others to get clean and stay clean. I really think Brian wrote me off he got tired of me. I just want him to know I am clean.

But little by little, I started to understand. Puente isn’t just about sobriety—it’s about becoming someone you can respect. The staff didn’t sugarcoat anything. They called me out, pushed me, and supported me in ways I didn’t know I needed. ❤️
I came to love the community—the kitchen laughs, the raw group talks, the late-night convos with guys who most likely did not make it. Some days I couldn’t stand facing myself, or even shower. Other days, I felt more alive than I had in years.
What makes 444 special is how it sticks with you. Shouting “444” during meetings or hearing it from someone picking up a chip gave me something I’d been missing: belonging. That alone killed off my loneliness.
Today, I’ve got over 9 months sober. I now understand: sobriety comes first—everything else follows.
