I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. I was very satisfied with everlast recovery, there much different from other facilities such as not feeling like a hospital setting or feeling like a 5150 facility. Everlast treated me like family and so did the rest of the patients in there. Everlast gave me the tools to cope with my struggles of addiction and showed me how the sober life is the better life. Shane the counselor is awesome super good dude. Would highly recommend everlast recovery 💯

I spent 30 days at the Turrell house, and although it was my first time in treatment I believe I was meant to come to this place specifically. They did such a wonderful job welcoming me, the staff and residents really helped me settle in to the routines of the program. I loved every single group session we did throughout my stay, and i loved all of the outside meetings we went to every week, I learned so much, and I actually found my sponsor because of this program. They really care about every client individually and are very attentive to specific needs. I loved working with Katie as my case manager, she did an amazing job. Thank you so much Everlast, I’ll definitely be back to visit!

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for my time at The Lighthouse. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, cared for, and understood. The staff goes above and beyond. They don’t just do their jobs, they pour their hearts into helping every person who walks through those doors. I truly miss them and consider them family.
The program is amazing and so thoughtfully put together. I was there during Halloween, and the team made sure we still had fun and felt special, as a mother missing Halloween with my children, I truly appreciated this. You can tell they really care about making every day meaningful. The food was delicious, and the kitchen staff put so much love into every meal.
I’m proud and thankful to call myself a Lighthouse alumni. This place completely changed my life, and I’ll forever be grateful for the people I met and the support I received.

The Lighthouse Treatment Center completely changed my life. The program itself is amazing, but what really makes it special are the people. Every single staff member I met was caring, patient, and truly dedicated to helping us heal. You can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about every client.

Arlene touched a part of my life and my recovery that I didn’t even know needed healing. She treated me with a kind of respect, patience, and understanding that reminded me of the mother I never had. Chadd — “The General” — made a real impact on me. He’s one of the few people I’ve met who doesn’t just talk recovery… he lives it. Every word he says comes from real experience, real struggles, and real growth. He’s humble, honest, and he treats everyone like equals. Talking to him feels like talking to someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
He never made me feel judged. Instead, he made me feel seen and heard. His wisdom hits deep because you know it’s coming from someone who’s walked the same road. If he ever wrote a book about his life, I swear it would inspire so many people.
McCarty House is stronger because of him. A lot of people find success there because of the way he shows up for others. I’m grateful I crossed paths with him during my recovery. He helped me more than he probably knows.

It had been a few years since my last treatment center stay as I had completely distanced myself from anything recovery related.
I went down a real dark self isolated path of self-will run riot as I tried every which way to do it own my own self will and after being in 37 treatments prior to coming to California Wellness Center I felt as if I was a lost cause. After 12 long years of suffering and digging so deep, I couldn't even find an ounce of happiness to celebrate my own 31st birthday on March 12th of this year and after spending the entire month up untill my birthday completelt isolated alone in my APT in Phoenix,AZ I became very suicidal and started strongly considering taking my own life and just ending it all I had no desire to continue down the life I was living and somewhere in that moment of desperation on March 13th at 3AM I spend the next few hours crying out to my "Higher Power "God" to give me the strength to ask for help and he did I reached out to the "Owner Will" and finally dropped the ego I had held onto for all the years of my addiction and asked for help and that very night he had me on a call with a lady named "Keelen" Admissions might not be pronouncing that correctly and I barely remember the phone call I was completely out out of my mind but they were still willing to give me a shot and she helped me all the way through to getting to the airport to me completely blacked out at the airport missing my first flight to getting me on the next flight after out and constantly calling checking in to make sure I made it there safely as well retrieving all my luggage which I had lost during that process. Upon arrival, there I was picked up by "Liam," who made sure I got to the center safely and was there every day checking in, making sure I was OK! this is an individualized treatment program, and it was exactly what I needed to finally start unraveling the many years of pain and suffering addiction had caused. From all the staff "Matt" the therapist who was there 5 days a week, helped me finally dive into a lot of the many different issues I struggled with to face them head on he didn't push but when it came time he was there when I was ready to finally let go and let others guide me and I'll be forever thankfull for that, the Nurses "Mary" and "Stephanie" were the absolute best of the best and helped on many of the rough days I had to face while there to!! And the case manager "Jason" as well the techs from "Eddy" Kelsy" "Casey" "Jack" were the best as well and all played a big role for me still being alive and well today!! If you're thinking you don't deserve this, you do we all do, and this center and all the staff helped me realize my true value, love, and purpose for myself again and helped pull me from the very deep grave I had been digging for so long and finally accepting that I am truly powerless over my addiction but there is a way out if I am willing to drop my pride and ego and accept the help others offer so with that I'll be forever gratefull to all of you im still alive because of the part each of yall played during my stay there I finally feel like this life of sobriety is not just possible but worth more than any day of the pain a suffering caused by addiction so give yourself a chance your worth it and this place will help you get to that place.

Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. I came here for courtesy dose in August and again in November. They are great there! If I move out here this is the clinic I definitely would go here.The price for just 7 days of methadone was $140!! This is the 2 nd time I paid this price for a week. We don’t have much money we are trying to get our lives back and this is a life or death medication for us.
The methadone is way overpriced here, while it is not an expensive drug from the pharmacy.

This place is amazing, I went there and they took me to Alcoholics Anonymous, which gave me a solution to allow me to become an active and productive member of my family and society. I did everything that was suggested like going to sober living getting a sponsor and working steps. They have an amazing Alumni program with Heidi as the coordinator. The alumni program helped me tremendously I learned accountability by taking commitments at meetings, learned how to have fun sober, and use normal coping skills instead of using or drinking. I am super grateful for this place the staff really cares and anyone that’s willing to put in the work to recover will find the help they need at the lighthouse!

Just celebrated 8 years sobriety! This place saved my life. They are very well organized and understand treatment and recovery. I wasn't necessarily very open-minded in the beginning but I'm so glad I didn't quit and leave not everybody stays sober and I understand that and this place doesn't guarantee anything however it is a beginning and for me it was pivotal. Every day is a new day to embrace change. I learned that from MFI.

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days.
Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be.
It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this.
If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations.
If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities.
Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!

This was my third time through rehab and found it the best, well run and most effective treatment I’ve been through. Maria and staff have a well structured program, with engaging assignments that are on-point. I am best prepared to avoid relapse. I went through IVRS in May of 2020 and I was a complete mess. Drugs and alcohol were how I coped with the emotional distress I had been long experiencing and during my time at IVRS the staff, the structure, and the atmosphere provided me with an atmosphere that I could make a lasting change. Today, I am not just sober; I am at happy & at peace. I don't miss the days I used to abuse drugs/alcohol and that is an absolute miracle. I am so grateful for the staff that dedicated their lives and careers to being of service to those struggling with addiction. If you’re really serious about changing your life around then this place is where you need to be.
You can bring your pets and they accept couples. The staff here are all amazing and willing to help whenever you ask for help. The chefs: Tiffany and Mike really get down and make some really delicious meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. The nurses Michelle and Amy make sure you take your meds whenever needed and also make check in with you every morning to see if your having withdrawal symptoms such as night terrors, using dreams, tremors, anxiety, depression, all that stuff that you don’t want to feel when you’re withdrawing and they make sure you are prescribed the right meds to prevent all those things. The case workers Alejandra and Angela work above and beyond to make sure everything you need is taken care of. Angela is also the educator and teaches some really informative group classes that help you understand your disease. And the rest of the staff are all amazing and I’m really going to miss all of you! Claudia and Valerie are really sweet and kind and funny. I always looked forward to seeing them at the facility. Dan and RayRay and Joe are all very personable and will give you some of the best advice and it’s only up to you to decide if you wanna take it and run with it. Steve thank you for bringing my partner and I to court on your day off. Banchi is the sweetest person in the entire universe and you made me smile so much and being sober made me appreciate any smiles I got from the staff here. Tiffany thank you for all the meaningful talks we had every morning, I always looked forward to seeing you during the weekdays! And Mike thank you for making sure we eat good everyday ! My son just completed a 30 day program at SoCal Sunrise and we could not be more pleased. Andrew, Shannon and Ally as well as all of the staff were incredibly kind, patient and supportive. The entire team is vested in the recovery of their residents and encouragement is given every step. My son was at this facility for about 45 days and discharged recently. The staff were kind and efficient and took care of everything he needed on time. Specially, Andrew (project manager) and Shannon (case worker) tried to find a right place very hard as a aftercare program for my son even though it passed over scheduled discharging date. All of the staff here are absolutely wonderful! They have great food, catered meals, lots of great snacks, outings, such as bowling in the movies and Broadway theater in Riverside.
The work they do for Addiction is over the top. 30 to 120 day programs with therapy, group counseling, and one on one counseling. Better than A Luxury rehab in Malibu. They take forms of Medi-Cal like IEHP and the homes are clean and beautiful. Ron is the owner and he is involved and does such a great job. I was here for treatment for 8 months and I had an addiction to fentanyl and bipolar disorders . Another rehab didn’t want to keep me because of my kidney failure due to drug use and Angelika welcomed me with open arms !! Beautiful spirited woman !! She goes above and beyond for her clients and treat you like family !! This rehab is the only reason I got sober ! They let you go at your own pace and won’t be quick to kick you out !! Nice food , nice outtings !! She takes very good care of us !! Don’t think twice about coming it doesn’t feel like a facility or hospital and you get to keep your phone !! Nice bedrooms , big beds , your own bathroom and my favorite No ROOM Mates ! And btw Chris the Manager is awesome!!!
