Hello, I went in for help with one medication until Medicare kicked in, and I ended up with all kinds of appointments with doctors, dentists and expenses paid. Fast, fast service! Their business partners in the Medical fields are top tie; I had explanations with details never explained by previous medical professionals. Two public health nurses and therapist on site: Carrie, Pam, and Rhonda. Thank you, for going the extra mile, I certainly didn't expect it!

This place is not good in my opinion. I had a bad time with them. First off, they lied to me about certain things to get me to seek their service. When I went to drop off my daughter they weren’t ready at all. I was told they will be ready with security to make sure my daughter didn’t throw a fit about staying. I made it very clear to them she wouldn’t take this good and more then likely throw a fit and act up. Again I was reassure to bring her and that everything will be fine with security ready to help if needed. Well there was no security to receive me and my daughter only one adult (nurse) who had no clue about the arrangements of security . When my daughter found out she was stay she threw a fit ran out the place and they literally didn’t help me at all. They simply said good luck. I called the cops for help to find my daughter. When the cops got there they told me they had been working this area for 10 plus years that this place was no good. That I shouldn’t leave my child there. That all they did was lock the doors at night with no adult supervision at all. That they got a lot of calls from there and that something was off about this place. After finding my daughter with help from the police I took her with me. I wouldn’t recommend.

First off, I’m very grateful for the three months I had at Vista. I was there from November 2019 - January 2020, and my life has changed forever and I am in a place I had given up hope on achieving. Three stars because a couple things happened that negatively impacted my time there. 1. Part of my religious practice involves spell casting. After casting one in the backyard with another client, I was told I couldn’t do it again because out of respect for people of all beliefs, Vista is a secular establishment. They said it wasn’t personal, and they would say the same to any client doing religious practices in common areas. Fair enough, but two Jewish clients were allowed to say a prayer and light the Menorah in the common room every night of Hanukkah. I felt the issue had more to do with my practice than maintaining secularity. 2. ~2 months into my time there, I overheard a (white) client rapping along to a song with three staff members, and she “accidentally” said the n word. Instead of someone saying “that’s not appropriate, etc.,” a staff member said, “it’s ok, it’s a song,” and they laughed and continued singing. I’m Black and was the only POC client, and that was really upsetting. At the time I had difficulty communicating my feelings with words instead of actions, so I essentially checked out mentally, which impacted my last month there. I could’ve reported it, but resented the fact that I’d have to, because the staff present should have addressed it appropriately in the moment. It also made me lose trust in staff as a whole - I saw multiple staff members not take it seriously, and I questioned whether anyone else would. I ended up feeling very disconnected, and it sucked to hold that in every day while having to interact with those staff members (one was someone I saw almost daily). Also, maybe things have changed, but the food is dreadful. It isn’t just a personal opinion - everyone felt the same way. But all in all, thank you Vista for your help. I had been to treatment a couple times, but it didn’t stick until I came here. I’m now behavior free for over five years, and words cannot express how incredible it feels.

The counseling staff particularly Chris having been the best counselor I’ve had at the clinic and anywhere for that matter. He is very personable and actually relates to patients by sharing his past and how it’s affected his life in relation to each patient and their own needs. Rather than past counselors who are just by the book, ie(this is what I read so this is how you should react to this, say to that …etc.) Chris has a way of making a negative situation positive even when you don’t think it is possible or fair. Chris is a huge asset to Aegis and they would be at a major disadvantage if they were to lose him. Ginger and Jim are very well trained friendly and understanding nurses who are fast and accurate at dealing with many patients daily. Faith, Cindy, Brooke, Cami, and Jeff are also amazing staff members who have made a difference in my life. They go above and beyond to help patients in personal ways showing they actually care about each patient as a person not just completing the bare minimum requirements to keep their job. All these staff member’s are what make Aegis more family like, not just a Dr office setting. Each one of them has made a personal difference in my life and I am grateful to each one of them for what they have done to make my life better.

Living at Casa Pacifica Children and Family Services in Camarillo at 16 was one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. I went in hoping for support, healing, and safety, but instead I often felt ignored, dismissed, and emotionally unsafe. In my personal experience, staff seemed more focused on control and rules than actually listening to what we were going through or treating us with basic empathy. There were many times I felt completely alone and unsupported, even when I was clearly struggling. Instead of feeling like I was in a place that cared about my mental health, I felt like just another problem for them to manage. The environment felt cold and stressful, not healing. I left Casa Pacifica feeling worse, not better, and it has taken me a long time to even begin processing the damage. I can only speak for my own experience, but I would never recommend Casa Pacifica to any child, teen, or family looking for genuine care and emotional safety. What was supposed to be “help” ended up being deeply harmful for me, and I hope others think very carefully before trusting this organization with their or their child’s wellbeing.

☆This is a 2 year update to my comment☆ Well, I've been able to maintain abstinence from opioids still! Times have been hard: Family stress, big changes and situations that have triggered me beyond belief. Yet, I still have refused to go back to my old ways of using opiates to turn off my feelings and emotions. Truly, the treatment I received through the Waismann Method and DOMUS center continue to keep me on a path of an opiate free life. The ups and downs of life are still a struggle, as they are for everyone. But with continued therapy and support, I've managed to combat the intrusive thoughts that rise up when things look and feel impossible. I'll say it before and I'll say it again: I believe I wouldn't be here to write this review, or live this gift we call life had I not had the treatment I received. Thanks again to everyone who makes this program happen. And if you or a loved one are ready, truly ready to be free of your opioid addiction, this is it. Worth every penny and then some. *This is a 1 year edit to my comment* **Since leaving, life has not been easy. Stress, trauma and mental health have all been a major part of this recovery time. Yet, here I am, no desire to use opiates as my "off button" for stress. When intrusive thoughts of using or past use arise, Im able to shift from a longing to numb myself to a reminder of how far I've come. I want to take this time to thank the staff at Domus and those who took such good care of me at the hospital. It wasn't a walk in the park, and certainly wasn't enjoyable to go through such a procedure, but I was well taken care of and made to feel as comfortable as possible. So if you're reading this, take it from someone who thought addiction WAS the only life I could know: You can do this. Sticking with aftercare has been crucial, I have some amazing practitioners but aftercare looks different for everyone. I did experience some PAWS symptoms (to be expected) about a few months after coming home. Which is why I so highly recommend some form of therapy as your transformation is slowly taking place. I felt like a million bucks when I got home, but that cloud 9 feeling slowly left as my brain continued to go through the process of degrading old neuro pathways and using new coping skills to deal with life. Rest. It's so important in my opinion to be able to rest afterwards. I felt like I wanted to run a marathon, only to realize 20 paces in that my body needs rest. Security. Again, just my opinion, but to go to Domus and then return to a life where you're surrounded by risky situations is foolish. I don't mean living in a cave, but prepare before you go. Say goodbye to the people you won't want to see. Tell them what you're doing, maybe they'll see you going for it and want to make changes for themselves. Just don't go back to tell them how clean you are, it's not worth it. It hurts to see others where we were, and can be triggering. So til next year, I wish the best to anyone considering the freedom that can come from this treatment.**

I didn't know what to expect when I showed up at Restore. I was scared and hating life. I ended up having a great adventure. Did everything run smoothly, no. But you show me a place that does and I will still call you a liar. I met empathetic, warm hearted and determined people who wanted to help me and see me get better. I have been through TX before so I had expectations, but after looking back at my time there, it was exactly what I needed. I am forever grateful that Restore answered the call when I needed help and hope the most. Thank you :)

The partial hospitalization program meets five days per week for six hours at a time. Individuals engage in peer support groups, spiritual support services, trauma treatment, and educational classes that address the mental and emotional aspects of addiction. Mental health counseling on an individual basis is also provided. The intensive outpatient
Employees are disrespectful and don't bother helping the people who are trying to get better. They don't help with housing as they say . I wouldn't recommend it.

I spent the entire year of 2013 at Bethel House. The best decision of my life. After graduating, I didn't want to leave. LOL! I have never met such amazing people, the staff was so loving, supportive and selfless. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction. Hands down the best outpatient program I have ever attended! I’ve been to quite a few but this one is honestly the best one I ever worked with. Everyone on their staff is excellent at what they do and the therapist honestly do care about you, your physical, mental, and emotional health! The instructors are people who will touch your lives in ways I can’t even explain. Rick is definitely one that comes to mind. If you or a loved one are looking to get help, this is the place to be at. They have saved so many lives and I am eternally grateful for having gone there. If it can change my life I know it will help you change yours!

My sister has visited the Tarzana Treatment Center multiple times, each visit offering comprehensive support as it is a fully integrated healthcare organization. They provide a wide array of services, including detoxification, therapy, and aftercare support, all tailored to individual needs. On her last visit, she was truly motivated to change her life, and the center's holistic approach played a critical role in her recovery. Now, she's thriving and doing exceptionally well. I would rate the experience 10 out of 10 for their dedication and effective treatment services. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

My time at Haven House was truly transformative. The luxurious facilities, especially the beautiful swimming pool, provided a serene environment for healing. The highlight of my experience was the personalized counseling sessions. These were instrumental in my recovery journey. I highly recommend Haven House to anyone seeking a supportive and upscale sober living experience.

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first about going to a treatment living facility. This was due to my own perceptions and stigma on being open with total strangers on my addiction. I didn't realize that a communal atmosphere is just what I needed to open up and take care of well being. I stayed for 6 months at the Haven House in Long Beach. They had so many resources for me getting my life back on the right track. I found a setting of other guys who had been through so much and were there to listen and to encourage my progress. I honestly felt like staying resort for rehabilitating everything about myself. We did yoga to help the mind and body. We had movie nights to laugh and think and engage in life conversations. The best part was the proximity to the beach. We had a lot of outings and picnics along the Long Beach Shore. I very much recommend this establishment if you wish to progress through addiction and leave all the more better for society.

I went to the Villa for Detox before going to All In Solutions. House staff was great! They are all in Recovery and took the time to listen and share their experience, strength and hope. Sean, Justin, Jen, Melissa, and Greg were especially helpful. Also nurse Myra. Groups were very good. Yoga and sound therapy were great! Groups with Kevin and Andy were awesome!! Once I moved on to PHP The Alumni staff were incredible. Jill and Andy helped me get to the Alumni meetings. Just an all around great start to living my life sober, One Day At A Time. ❤️‍🩹
