Awesome place with awesome people! I truly felt like every staff member cared about me and my recovery journey every day. Justin the case manager always had an open door to talk when I needed. Karen the program director and David the operations director helping me get paperwork filled out as painlessly as possible. Jeramiah, Lisa, Winnie, Jessie, and Tony on the nursing staff always ready with a smile and positive attitude. JJ, Lane, and Isabel, the techs that put up with me daily with a smile on their face no matter what I did. I can't recommend Laguna View Detox enough. I just wanted to say what a great place this facility is, I ended up staying here for a few months, the groups were great I got a lot of invite and knowledge from them. I came to OC revive from Oklahoma broken and hopeless. I wish I could find the words to describe how much this program has changed my life how much they care about their clients and not just look at them as another payday. I completed the substance abuse program and because of the kind of care and attention I received I decided to also do the mental health program as well. I am so grateful for OC Revive. The staff here is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the groups. The facilitators run groups that are engaging and informative. I have learned so much about my own recovery since I have been a client here. Rebecca has been such a helpful staff member she is one of the first people I met. Anytime I need a way to get to my 12 step meetings or important errands she provides support super quickly and I always feel like she cares. More than once when I was struggling that day she was somebody I could check in with and feel like I was understood. Cassie is one of the best facilitators there. I enjoy all of her groups. They get super deep into my mental health factors that I need to work on. I have learned invaluable tools in her groups to manage my emotions. My case manager Cullen has been so receptive of any of my concerns and has resolved any request I’ve had very thoroughly. I feel like he really cares about me as a person and a client. Katie is another facilitator who has made me feel like I’m worth wanting to have a good life. She is encouraging and also makes me feel like I’m a helpful contributor to the groups. There is so much more I could say about the staff here. I would recommend OC Revive to anybody seeking help and understanding and or stabilization in their substance use or their mental health recovery journey.

I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement. I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!

I've had a few stints with rehab and none even skinned the surface of what I learned here. Located on a beautiful property in the foothills of Murrieta, with in house groups led by instructors that break it down so in depth. My perspective had a total shift and I can honestly say I owe my life and the promise of a new future to this facility and it's faculty. If you're willing to do the work this is the place to get into your core issues and help you recover from the lifestyle and vices that one is addicted to. I recommend this place to anyone who wants something different from life. DBT, CBT, recovery education, family therapy are just a few of the groups and The program director and Clinical director hand picked a team that is progressive, informed, patient, caring and passionate about what they do. I encourage anyone who's seeking treatment to look into this program I first hand watched others and had my life transformed.

I LOVE the help the Rancho Creek out patient has given me!!! I needed something to continue in my sobriety. I didn’t know it at the time but THIS IS THE PLACE that made it possible for me!!!!! Thanks to the amazing continued guidance and positive structure I received from Vanessa and Dereck my sobriety has been possible and enjoyable!!! What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery: They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollment PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly). UPON ARRIVAL: You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed. ONCE SETTLED IN: There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed. DEPARTING: A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed. NOTES: Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. Group sessions can be "boring" lots of downtime, lots of staff turnover. There are two houses BASS & DORRIEN. Bass is the main property and where groups are held. Sleeps 6 residents. There are 3 private bedrooms each with a queen bed (one has it's own bathroom, the other 2 share a bathroom), and 1 oversized bedroom with 3 queen beds, another full bathroom by the living room. big screen smart tv, L-shaped old sofa [over-due to be replaced], matching captains chair with footrest [also ready to be replaced], eloquent dining room (dedicated as an art space), enormous dream kitchen with separate pantry room, food shopping is done once a week with a list (residents responsible to cook their own meals), Pool Table, Ping Pong,, Pool (ICE COLD), Jacuzzi (turned on Friday night only, no lights), garage with some gym equipment (you can use during free time), and a large sunny well maintained backyard is accessible. Dorrien is the "overflow" smaller secondary house about 10 minutes away. Also sleeps 6 total. 1 large bedroom with 3 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 master with a queen bed which shares a jack-and-jill bathroom. TV, living room, hot tub. DAILY ITENTERARY: This is where it gets a bit "grey space" .... There is a plan on paper (somewhere) and then there is reality. PAPER PLAN *I could be slightly off, as no schedule was provided wake up 7am-7:30am breakfast 8am-9am 9am-12pm & 1pm-5pm group lunch 12pm-1pm daily dinner 5pm-6pm daily free time 6pm-10pm Tuesday = Sound Therapy (AMAZING) Wednesday = Yoga (BEGINNER) Thursday = Fitness Training (NOPE) Friday = Educational Rehabilitation Movie & Horse Therapy Saturday = "outing activity" (NOPE) Sunday = Family visitation 12pm-4pm (last 2 weeks only) its helpful if youre looking to get clean. The property and people are nice overall.

Casa capri changed my life, making the decision to come here was extremely hard but i thank myself everyday for doing it. The staff here is incredible and feels like family. Ive learned so much about my disease and how to manage my life again, learn about the true complex nature of my addiction, how it works, and how to be free. The support is forever and you can feel how much they want you to do good here. It works if you work it. My therapist Lauren was amazing and i wish i could take her and my case manager with me! But they have set me up for success. Im so thankful to them. Casa Capri treated me with dignity and respect, everyday. They always had my best interest at heart. I came into treatment only planning to stay 2 weeks, i was encouraged to stay the full 30 days and it was so worth it. Its hard to leave only because of how much ill miss the staff, fellow clients, and the cooking!!!

It was my first time in any kind of treatment. I didn’t know what to expect. But I’m so glad that my loved ones chose Casa Capri for me! There are 4 houses on one street that they occupy. A detox, ED house and 2 Rehabilitation houses. They’re like beach cottages. Makes you feel like you are at a little home away from home but with extra Roomate’s. Detox time allows you to relax, get set up on medication schedule, fill your days with movies, snacks, and prepare yourself for residential. * Do not bring any open food or vapes. Bring comfortable clothes, you’re just lounging. The techs are there for you. You can talk to them about anything. They listen. Even at 3 in the morning when I couldn’t sleep. Residential is where the real work begins. Your days begin with morning group and meditation, followed by breakfast of your choice with all casa girlies from both houses, medication, getting ready for the day and morning chores. The groups range from open discussion, understanding a little more about yourself, and sharing your story with others. It’s a time to cry, grow, support the other girls and dig deep. You have dietician groups, outings, pilates, breath works, creative art and so much more built in as well. The houses have lunch and dinner prepared by a wonderful chef. She is a delight. So funny and really caters to your diet needs. Casa girls rotate clean ups, find time to read their big books, work on casa binder for telephone privileges and sponsor work! You attend off site AA women’s only meetings. Great place to hear others share, to take new comer and various lengths of sobriety chips and find a sponsor! You become very close with the girls in your house. We would watch shows together, swim in the pool and do crafts like making sober friendship bracelets. Every week there is client cook night where the houses rotate and pick the menu for the night. Go over with the dietician and the chef for dietary needs, and purchasing. It’s a great way to do something for others. The idea behind these scheduled days is to get you to be active in your recovery, participate, get connected with others and get back to the basics. All techs are so approachable and really do care about you and what you’re going through. In the beginning most are shy, disconnected and broken, but when you settle in you start to become a woman in recovery and start gain strength and grow. Understand and appreciate more. I will forever be grateful to my therapist there. Each clients is assigned a case worker and therapist and they help you navigate your recovery and process areas you need to work on. Everything is in confidence. And it’s really a safe space. I can’t thank Casa Capri Recovery in Costa Mesa enough. They helped me prepare myself for the outside world as a woman in recovery. If anyone in my life is struggling, I know Casa will always be the place I recommend. They hold a special place in my heart. Thanks Casa Team, I couldn’t have done this without you!

Akua is where I got clean. The staff is very patient and kind. Because of this, I eventually came around to opening my mind more. I didn’t want to participate in meetings and put minimal effort in facilitated group on the beginning. Over time, I felt more comfortable and staff shared their struggles and how they overcame it. I felt like I was able to face the destruction of my past and eventually did. The staff was very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating through my early recovery efforts! Plenty of time is made to provide access to the gym, AA/NA meetings, healthy and delicious food, therapy, group sessions, down time and yoga to name a few of the highlights. I had my reservations before enrolling with Akua but by the end of my month-long time there I was sad to have to leave, knowing that I would miss all the staff and clients, as well as the tools they provided me to succeed within my next chapters of the recovery process. I plan to attend their Wednesday AA alumni meetings!

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.

Best IOP center in Orange County for a reason. Compassion made recovery possible for me—without stepping into a facility. Their virtual care was personal, flexible, and truly supportive. They saw me as a whole person, not just a patient. Can’t thank them enough.

Have a bit more to say about this IOP but in summary really grateful for Josh, Dr JP and their team of doctors and group facilitators for helping me through a difficult situation. I needed to work around my schdule with family and kids and their program was perfect for me. Maybe it's not ideal for everyone but for me it was exactly what I needed. The whole process from intake, insurance verification, admission, scheduling, I was kept up to date on everything. I met with the Doctor and he was very knowledgeable, spent an hour with me which was what I needed, someone and a program to show that they care. Would recommend this IOP to anyone who struggles with mental health and needs some support and doesn't want to drastically change their life commitments at the time. Awesome treatment team! Did so much for me in a time of great need. Very grateful to have stayed at Ocean Recovery for 90 days in May of 2022. They introduced me to the program that has helped me stay sober to this day. The staff (when I was there) was kind and professional. I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for the experience that I had at Ocean Recovery. I have been trying to get sober since February and after three detoxes and another treatment center and completing all these programs , I never had the tools or the clinical support to actually stay sober.. what they have built here changed the trajectory of my life. Everyone from Chas, Matt , Danny, Rachel, and Maddie on the administrative side, supported me every step of the way in terms of supporting my commitment to follow through.. My care team of Chase and Amanda were supportive and also helped me navigate medical issues, doctors appointments and assisting on making the next steps in my sober life. Clinicians like Bruce, Jake and others continuously brought an informative element that really peeled away the layers of why I do what I do. Once I got physically sober, the staff at Ocean Recovery started showing me causes and effects and putting together how I can successfully live sober. The support staff I can’t say enough about. Tyler, Colin, Blake, Reid, Eugene, Kevin, Bryce , all shared generously their experience strength, and hope and made my experience a most positive and effective change of lifestyle. The location of the program also doesn’t hurt. Located just steps from the beach they made sure that we balanced our educational aspects as well as our recreational and physical aspects. They offered Yoga, Breath works and plenty of opportunities for outside events and activities. I am so indebted to Ocean Recovery for this new life that I’m embarking on. My case manager Brian was phenomenal and you can tell he really wants to help as well as Matt, Danny and Reid. Danny and Reid have really helped me stay connected after leaving the program and Matt has been a supportive mentor throughout the entire process.
