What can I say? My stay at Gratitude Lodge was beyond my expectations. This was my first exposure to treatment so I was nervous; nonetheless, I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. ❤️ From the start, the house was definitely a second home for me having traveled from the Midwest. I was warmly received on the first night and settled in comfortably. So many staff members impacted my experience...from the start, Ryan, meeting my at the airport and providing sound advice for tlnext steps in my recovery, Peter for his fantastic music therapy sessions, James for his sincere commitment to my casework, Mario always for his listening skills, Trinity, Justin, Andrew...and everyone beyond.

Best experience of my sober life. I want to personally thank, Trinity, Justin, Mario, Ryan, Eli, Megan, Andrew, Lee, Kyle, James and Peter for everything and that they do. The best staff at any program I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a bit over my fair share). They actually care, they love you and they truly want to see you succeed. A special shout out to James, for always and I mean ALWAYS being in my corner. A shoutout to Trinity for being my confidant when I felt alone in the beginning. To Peter, who listened to all my bullshit with a smile on his face and some music in the background. The best place to get sober and the best people to ever be around. Truly a sober environment, where you learn how to be sober. Not just get sober but BE sober. I’ll forever remember my time here with love, respect and of course plenty of GRATITUDE!!!!!!!

I had such a great experience here. I've been to alot of rehabs and I cant say the same for most of those. I didn't know if I wanted to come in or even be sober and James and Megan stayed out front with me for a long while, patiently helping me to make the right decision to come in and I am so glad I did. They have such a great team of people and I couldn't thank you guys enough. Shout out to James for always staying late and convincing me to not AMA lol i even decides to stay longer, you can tell he really pours his heart into his job and wants to help. Same goes for Megan and Ryan you guys are really the best.

This place goes above and beyond for its clients. Let’s just say I’ve been there more than once on my road to recovery. The staff have become my second family. They have an alumni person that’s reaches out to clients to follow up after treatment and I call her my guardian angel. This place saved my life more than once and I believe it could do the same for you or your loved one. Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Hills Recovery Rehab , I must say they are very professional here and clean very caring as well. I appreciate all that the staff has done. Special mention to Christian he is very friendly and on top of his game. Picked me up directly from the airport with no trouble whats so ever. Life-Changing Experience Our family will always be grateful for this treatment center. From the moment one of our family members arrived, the staff made them feel seen, respected, and understood. Many of them are in recovery themselves, and that made such a difference — they truly get it. The environment was warm, nurturing, and safe — exactly what our relative needed to begin healing. The people there, both staff and other residents, were genuine and supportive. This is a place where real change and growth can happen. Their authenticity and care provide hope, community, and a new start.

I came to Clear a few years ago desperately needing help for my substance use disorder. They worked with my insurance but more importantly than that they worked with me. The staff genuinely cared about my achieving long term sobriety and it showed. Their employees were nothing short of amazing from Program Director to the team of therapists, case managers, nurses, and technicians who not only insured my detox was comfortable but made me feel cared for. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone struggling with substance use and or mental health issues of any kind. I wish I could leave more than five stars.

The Canyon was such an amazing experience in personal growth. Everyone on staff were incredible, providing an array of modalities and resources to help overcome some of life’s toughest challenges while deeply caring for the individuals they are treating. Amazingly caring and qualified staff; people that actually have a genuine interest in your recovery (not something that can be said for most rehabilitation programs). Diverse and dynamic curriculum that keeps days from feeling mundane/repetitive, the groups are not cookie-cutter bs. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn’t for Avedis I don’t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for my time at The Lighthouse. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, cared for, and understood. The staff goes above and beyond. The Lighthouse Treatment Center completely changed my life. The program itself is amazing, but what really makes it special are the people. Lighthouse is a first rate facility. The counselors ,support staff ,kitchen staff, maintenance and housekeeping are amazing. The food is great. Being my first time to a treatment/detox facility with unset expectations and unknown details I found it stressful. The staff were very helpful and understanding in explaining the process and the overall goal of their facility. The program is very well thought out through group work, individual sessions, outside facilitators that share their life experiences. I also found the staff very involved in assisting with the aftercare goals (sponsors, therapy, groups) tailored to the individual. The work is hard and challenging in the beginning but worth it for achieving your goals and better understanding of yourself.

Novo Detox changed my life! I have been thru several “detoxes” but none were as good as this one’. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. I have a lot of tools to take home to continue my sober life. Many thanks for Novo for bettering/changing my life!

MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

I was just another drug addict going in and out of rehabs and running the streets. A playboy always chasing the next fix. I landed in the care of Dr. Marshall at Decicato. I remember sitting in the room for my first group meeting and Dr. Marshall coming in to lead the group. He told his story and It gave me chills through my body. I felt like I had finally found somebody I could relate to and it gave me hope I spent the next 4 weeks giving it everything I had and following his lead. I met my soon to be wife through the Dedicato program (we get married tomorrow) and we have 2 kids and a life that I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams I could have. I was treated kindly coming into dedicato had a couple rough steps moving forward at first but the team at Dedicato helped me move forward any anxiety and fear was stripped from me spending more and more time there, felt very welcomed and the staff was very welcoming. Everyone at Dedicato including the patients and staff all related to alot things I experienced in life and gave me the direction to keep me on a straight path. The one thing that I will carry with me throughout this entire process is that there is more things to life on the exterior then what we feel like doing on the interior. The highlight of my time here was all the activities and groups I would attend climbing mountains physical and mental, also working out activities in the gym they have learning how to balance my mind during the hardships where I wanted to give up but learned to not let myself break during that and the zoom meetings with Charles having stand of jokes as well as being serious on why I’m here, point is come here if your dying to see a light and hope and to feel understood as a person and be accepted for themselves. You’ll also see a picture of a tool that dedicato offers that helped me transform my life .

Dedicato saved my life and the life of my unborn son... Because of the work and commitment they provided me i was able to obtain custody of all 3 of my kids. Today I am clean and sober and loving life. I never imagined my life would ever be like this. I am so grateful for the Marshalls when I was going through my toughest times they were there for me. They gave me hope. Today I use the tools I learned in my everyday life. My kids are happy and we finally have a home. Dr Marshall taught me a lot and by doing so I was able to get a job as an outreach representative for a community health center. Who would of thought an addict like me would be where I am today. I found Glendora recovery at the highest of my addiction. I didn’t want to Share and problem solved with the group when I first got there. By the time I left, they couldn’t shut me up. It’s a place filled with love and support from genuine people who understand what you’re going through where you’re headed the staff is knowledgeable heartfelt warming. They all have special abilities to connect to make you feel welcome. I was blessed with several tools to help Work throughmy addiction that I’m still usitodproud to say that I am an alumni of Glendora recovery. I made some really strong connections with the staff a special shout out to Doctor Anand. Who chose to take me under his wing? I feel blessed to have met him And his staff, and if you’re struggling with addiction this recovery Center as like extended family who just want the best for you I want to see you win. Five stars!!!!!

Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful councilors and staff. There is no question they care greatly about each and every client, and show that every day and every step of the program. I tried over and over to get clean and stay clean, when I came to hathaway it was my last chance, my family wanted nothing more to do with me. I went to Hathaway for detox and ended up staying 90days. The gratitude I have for Hathaway is never ending, the amazing support of the staff and follow through with my treatment therapy and counseling was what I really needed to help me with my trauma and get my life back. If anyone feels like they have no more hope I recommend Hathaway 110%.

I am very happy with the treatment I received at Hathaway. The staff and therapist care about you and I think that’s number one when choosing a place to recover. The therapists are top-notch!!! The amount I learned in the 2 months I spent was incredible. I wasn’t a huge believer in group therapy before I came but the impact it had on me will last a lifetime. I had some ups and downs in treatment but overall my experience was wonderful and any complaints I have are minute compared to what I am able to take away. They invest in what matters. It’s also a beautiful location and the view of the mountains is absolutely gorgeous. The outings were super fun and they made my birthday super special If you have a desire to stop using or have co-occurring disorders this is the place to go. As long as you have an open mind and are honest I believe Hathaway will be extremely beneficial

Hathaway has saved my family. Before we found Hathaway my daughter was suffering with addiction however once we came to this facility the staff took her in and she felt comfortable and by a couple months she was ready to come back home fully recovered. I'm currently ending my treatment at Sanctuary. I going to start off with that I have been in treatment before. I love Sanctuary Treatment Center. I never felt like I was a body shuffled in and out the door just for the money. They actually care. The staff, therapists, groups are excellent. My needs were met promptly. Sanctuary literally saved my life from a medical aspect. If you are detoxing, and need medical supervision and consistent support from the team members there, then go. They will keep you alive and give you the mental support that you need.

The admissions coordinator, Nick, was incredibly kind. My friend was experiencing serious withdrawals, and even though her insurance isn’t contracted because it’s Medi-Cal, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely took the time to listen and care. So many people just rush through calls, but Nick truly stood out.
