I go there every Sunday morning for the speaker meeting @10am coffee and pastries start at 9am Wednesday NA book study at 7pm Thursday 7pm big book study for AA Great place for friendly ppl who are serious about recovery.

I hit my bottom, regardless of the fight of using, I still attended my meetings, and finally at wits end I surrendered, and DAS referred me to Sun Street Centers the road to recovery. I am forever thankful.

The nurses are very helpful, kind and work hard. The doctors also do their job. I felt pampered and safe. The new medicine’s dosis is been helping me a lot.

Went here for 5 days 13 years ago. The treatment is good. It does the job. But if you want to stay sober you might benefit from doing some type of service or work helping others. That may keep you sober.

I was an participant here also an inmate per cdcr.I was in this facility not o ly as it is now known as CCTRP but also when it was FRCC when it was still fresh just opening.My first trip at FRCC now know as CCTRP back then I was a WE number We3220 to be exact it was much more racial an strict they literally had to comply with all the government rules an issues because it was still new an to continue funding many of us got shipped back to Chowchilla State Prison for the wrong movement.Now since it's CCTRP I have noticed more flexibility your able to be in the community more even go to the doctor in regular clothes instead of the facility.They gave me several chances with my drug use as well as tobacco issues.I mean alot of us,because back In the day they didn't even tell you that you were going back they just called you up front which now only various staff work where In the past it was only two sheriff's there.Anyway it's not so bad an believe me I have done my share an they still worked with me.You can continue your education an utilize your own cellphone I'm unsure there rules now but there alright..an always have good staff even bad too but hey that's anywhere

They are doing a good job. Everyone is held accountable. They can go to work and they have visiting days every week. My only suggestion would be that they can go to church. They could walk to church the same way they walk to work and you would know if they weren't actually at church because you track them. It's almost impossible to heal and recover without faith.

Good place to get sober!

This was place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Not only does the staff hide behind a closed door with no windows, completely ignoring the patients, not paying attention to what is going on within the facility. This is not the 1st, it's not even the 2nd behavior health hospital I've been in, but it sure is THE WORST I have ever been in. I check myself in voluntarily, within only a couple days did I decide to check myself out for the sake of my sanity. The staff did not care about the mental health of their patients, nor their allergies

I was put in here back in 2013. I was coming off drugs and some serious life changes and had a complete mental breakdown. These people were a blessing and I can say I haven’t been in any sort of trouble to get me sent back and I’ve been sober ever since! This place is seriously a blessing for me. The food was better than jail, they let you watch movies and stay up pretty late. They gave me cigarettes until someone brought me some(quit those too!) they always had clean clothes and fresh bedding something I was not used to. The staff was extremely polite patient and understanding, even though I was out of it for awhile. The doctors initially did a check on me and decided I had to stay until I could pass a check. Thank god! It was probably only around 7-10 day experience but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

I went there to visit my girlfriend who is having some mental issues at the moment and they were very friendly very courteous they helped me and her out they were very attentive to all of her needs and my needs and it seemed like they were very very friendly and nice to the to the people that are in having bad times and have to be there and for the family that comes to visit their very very accommodating and friendly

These rooms saved my life.

Mi Thio was here for 17 months they did him dirty they isolated him from his whole family they wouldn't help or let him get a job because the passes they submit to leave has to be 2 weeks in advance. They kept him there just for the funding but it's a strange place it's worse than prisom where he came from because they won't let him leave to go get a job or see his family. Now my husband came here 2 months ago and mi amigo came here a month ago. They have "lost" every pass my husband has put in so far, it's retaliation for him speaking up on how bad they treat them. The owner is katy and if you don't bow down to her she will make your time here MISERABLE she targets anyone who speaks their mind or speaks up. So far my husband has had to put in 5 602's in just a little over 2 months. People NEED TO KNOW how bad this place is, she covers for her staff and lies and retaliates against anyone who speaks up by losing their passes and not allowing them to leave to go to church or work a job or go to college she will prevent it and make someone's life miserable while other people around them are her teacher pet. She plays favorites. Not everyone gets treated the same. My Thio is free and he's working with an attorney to sue katy and the facility for doing all of those things to him. This stuff needs to come to light. We're working with cdcr on the proof we have so far of everytime she "loses" his passes he takes pictures of he turns in. Being isolated from his family. They don't believe the men should have any contact with their families AT ALL. The TRUTH WILL come to light SOON. Retaliation is a crime it's illegal. Lying for funding with CDCR is a crime. This place is really bad it's not what they promote it is. My husband has 11 more months here and mi amigo 15 and we won't stop until something is done about katy and the staff and and he's allowed to see his family his kids and get all the benefits the facility lies and says they get. Dont go here. Go anywhere but here. And if you go here document EVERYTHING that happens to you. 602 EVERYTHING they do to violate your rights. Collect proof and send it to your family and file paperwork against them and her every time they violate your rights. The worst part about it all is they refuse to let mi husband see me and our children. It's been over 2 months and they isolated him so bad they won't allow him any contact with us even at prisom we seen him 3 times a week and had family visits every 3 months, and had BBQ and picnics every other week. Zero contact here because of katy she denies every request he tries to see us.

In the end of 2024 I was going thru some bad time and I rech out for help by the beginning of 2025 Mary k she'll and the Kern county behavioral therapist and Clinica Serra vista help me out I would to thank them and let them know at Mary k she'll that know Im a resident in las Vegas nevada and that they need them over here they need Mary k she'll in las Vegas nevada please look into it help me help the people who are going thru bad time thank you

Not your typical business review here but this is a government place and I've been there and the workers are serious about their job. Are they that helpful? They do what they can. I received many free rides and the counselling was sincere, what more could you ask for?
