They also provide specialty tracks for first responders, individuals living with dual diagnosis, and the LGBTQ community. Detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient treatmen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | What you need to know about Ranch Creek Recovery:They accept health care insurance. Katie was great in helping me find the right healthcare provider and coordinating enrollmentPRIOR TO ARRIVAL:coordinate which house you will be staying at (Bass or Dorrien), what day you'll be arriving, how you'll get to the program, pack a week worth of clothes including a bathing suit, books, booklight (if you plan to read, because all lightbulbs are the dimmest possible), and alarm clock (unless you like counselors walking into your space, waking you up randomly).UPON ARRIVAL:You will need to be dropped off (there is no personal parking or vehicle storage). You'll go through a search (appropriately, light pocket check and bags emptied) all electronics will be confiscated (headphones, phones, chargers, etc) and stored in a locked closet. Full inventory documented for all items. You will have up-to 3 days to DETOX as needed where you can sleep and rest privately. I personally got bored very fast and decided to join the group early rather than just sleep, but the option is available as needed.ONCE SETTLED IN:There is a 7 day blackout period where you are not allowed phone or computer use and can not have visitors or communicate with family/friends (emergency exceptions). There are typically 4 (one hour) group sessions daily, during which either worksheets are used from various therapy resources, or rehabilitation-related YouTube videos are shown. Counselors rotate based on internal scheduling. You'll have 1-2 private therapy sessions scheduled each week for one on one with Leena or Christine both are great to work with and talk to one on one. Meals are scheduled 3 times a day, residents are responsible for cooking their own meals and can "graze" in making snacks/meals as needed.DEPARTING:A close-out assessment will be completed prior to your scheduled last day with an emergency safety plan for sign off. A pick-up time will be scheduled, all itemized inventory reviewed with sign-off. an IOP Intensive Outpatient Program will be offered through RCR Ranch Creek Recovery and/or a plan for after care reviewed.NOTES:Phone use allowed 1 hour a day at night after dinner, following a 7 day blackout period. This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.

When I first arrived at South Shores in May of this year, I felt truly broken. I was completely disoriented after having traveled cross country and terrified about what would come next. I was in poor shape spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and missed my family desperately.I never expected to find my joy again, but with South Shores' help, I have. The staff were amazing and immediately made me feel safe and helped me adjust to life in treatment. I can hardly name them all, but Billie, Edgar, Lisa, Jos, Matt, Tina, and the whole staff there truly saved my life. If you're feeling hopeless and that you can't recover, call South Shores.I have been sober seven months today, and have an amazing sponsor and sober fam here at home. My health and fitness are great, and I don't feel broken anymore. To say I am grateful is an understatement.Leigh-Anne Gaumond

Best call I ever made. Not only did they help me through detox, but I was also prescribed depression medications that really helped be during the process. In addition, you are taught how to maintain sobriety. The homes are always kept clean and comfortable and hold at least 8 clients. There is one on one therapy sessions with a certified therapist. The group therapy sessions are kept small so you're not lost in a crowd of people. You are taken to actual AA and NA meetings in the area. You are also taken on weekend trips to a store to purchase personal items, clothing, and snacks for yourself and to the movies, beach, hiking and other fun activities. The staff is genuine in their care for you and give you personal attention. They brought my energy level back up and I feel normal again with more energy and I made numerous new friends that I still keep in contact with and I consider family. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs help.

I started Dec. 11, 2024 and ended Jan 17th 2025. i am dual diagnosis as mental health and chemical dependent. I have been to alcohol rehabilitation learning some of the same things but this program actually clicked. I have to treat the mental to treat the addiction. I was in Fallbrook, CA. This time I fully understand my mental and addiction illness. No words can describe the amount of tailored help and understanding all staff has. most are in recovery and only another recovery person can understand what one is going through. I have never received such tailored, compassionate (yet firmly consistent) help.

My family member is currently in treatment at AMFM and so far has really enjoyed their experience. They said clinicians are top-notch, the food is incredible (a chef cooks meals daily), the program is structured and efficient. We spoke about 10 days within their admission and they already felt the progress of healing, not to mention the tone of their voice was upbeat and promising. They are so grateful to be in the program and our family is grateful to AMFM for the compassion and dedication of their clinicians in helping my family member grow and heal.

Staff members are also able to help treat trauma, mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders. A unique thing about this location is it uses treatment practices from both Western and Eastern medicines. The facility aims to | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I write this review two and a half years later, having thoroughly tested the tools and experienced the wonderful staff at VKM to see if the lessons and gifts provided could endure. I want to share with every woman- partners, parents, and friends- that VKM is a true temple of knowledge and healing.
I arrived during a troubled time in my life: broken, vulnerable, and desperate for guidance to begin my healing journey. I followed one rule: “Be open and trust the process.” Every woman I met there has remained in my heart and is part of my ongoing healing. Each staff member was uniquely qualified to support me: diligently, caring, and knowledgeable. The intake staff includes some of the most compassionate women I have met, likely due to their past experiences, which enable them to guide others on their healing journeys. The holistic team is exceptional; more than yoga teachers, they are spiritual leaders and warriors, as we all are.
The individualized schedules adapt to each person's needs. If you're fine with vegan options, the food is excellent (I emerged in the best shape of my life). These women can perform miracles if you're ready to work with them and confront your challenges with integrity. During my time there, I was accepted to a university and am now in the final leg of my B. S. in Psychology, graduating with honors. I've faced significant challenges since leaving, including a family member's cancer diagnosis and losing my sister at the young age of 47. Yes, I have stumbled and fallen over the past two years.
Despite these difficulties, I write to share that the tools and healing I received from VKM helped me rise again, let go of what didn't serve me, forgive those who hurt me, and, most importantly, extend forgiveness to myself with self-compassion Thank you, Kay and ladies, for honoring your chosen path of facilitating healing in a holistic manner that honors your God-given assignment to be the Light for us Ladies in need.
Namaste, and God bless everyone who enters this healing facility and the temple of knowledge. I pray for each of you that your journey toward healing begins.

Just back from a 21 day stay at the Chapters Beach House and I can definitely say it was a transformative experience! I was a 3 time dropout of a local outpatient program and didn't want to go to the "institutional" type of inpatient programs that lock you away like a prisoner and you get outside a few mins a day to smoke. Being from the East Coast, the warm and sunny environment of Orange County definitely helped (i spent A LOT of time on the deck and/or in the hot tub just relaxing, thinking, reflecting, planning for individual/group sessions, or doing workbook assignments for the next day), but it was the overall experience that made a difference. The small group setting of a max of 6 clients allowed me to develop strong bonds with people I consider lifelong connections and family. The clinical staff, especially Ligi, Jess, and Michael are amazing. They each get 20 out of 5 stars! I specifically want to recognize a few of the operations staff - Raif, Tyler, and Edith - with whom I spent a lot of time and credit each of them for being a huge part of my positive experience. I also want to thank Teresa, the Executive Director, who took the time one evening to have a conversation with me about some feedback I wanted to provide to enhance the client experience for future clients. Thanks again to the folks I called out above. I miss you all and don't plan to see you ever again..unless we pass each other on the street! :-)

At the time in my life when I needed a place for healing this name came up immediately! At that time I thought it was too good to be true. I had never been to a treatment center before and did not know what to expect. If that is you, just know that it is real and absolutely amazing! They have someone on staff in particular who is truly an angel. Don’t get me wrong all of the staff are incredible but, this one lady, Juanita practically saved my life. From the initial calls to get me there to being in touch with me at each airport that I had to transfer from, Juanita showed me how much she cared about me. In saying this please keep in mind she did not know me from Adam. She simply knew I was broken and needed help. She will forever be my guardian angel! The facility itself is beautiful. The location is great. The therapy is second to none in my honest opinion. I learned so much about me and what broke me. I wholeheartedly recommend NMW to anyone that needs recovery including mental health and or addiction. They will see YOU the individual. I truly believe in my heart that they are not in it for the money. They are doing what they do to save lives and show us all that there is healing and a bright future ahead of you no matter what has happened in the past.

The alumni support has helped my cousin feel embraced while reintegrating into the community.

My 30 Day time spend @ The Dana Point Alter House was very good! I m now feeling back to myself & feeling better finally.I was going through major depression, bad anxiety & insomnia for about 6 months. I tried several therapists & psychiatrists & anti depressants & sleep meds, but nothing helped & I was feeling worse everyday. My family & I decided to try an inpatient stay so I could be around other people going through the same thing, we found The Alter house in Dana Point. They welcomed me with open arms a were very accommodating to me through the worst time in my life. I really wanted to go home everyday from the beginning. I was really missing my husband family & pets! They were very flexible with them visiting me.The house is beautiful & very clean with a beautiful view & a personal chef Jessica who made delicious lunch & dinner meals 5 days a week, that you select. She also made Special requests for Birthday s and last days @ the home. Also cooking classes! The staff was excellent from psychiatrist Tom to psychologist Kaylee & all the nurses,Stacy.& day & night staff. They monitor your meds & vitals constantly. On weekends you all go for fun outings @ your groups choice & church if you want on Sundays.plus going out for lunch & dinner. Also trips during the week to Target, yogurt & The beach!. I got a lot more than I realized from The Alter House. The group therapy & all kind of classes yoga, art therapy, breathing! Physical trainer nutrition & more. Also a Beautiful Jacuzzi with waterfall. They also took me to all of my Dr. appointments. They really dug deep & got to the core of my built up issues & how to deal with my anxiety. I know I was a difficult patient at times but they were very patient with me.They saved my life & I can t Thank them enough. I m still in therapy with Mindfulness & am slowly cutting down on meds for sleep & am off anxiety meds & am taking a low dose of a different anti depressant.sleeping really great & walking most days & going back to exercise class! Life is good again! Thank You from the bottom of my heart Vicki

I came to SOCD a little over a year ago for help and was immediately taken in with open arms, non-judgement and kindness.I wasn t expecting much, especially during the pandemic, where most other treatment centers were struggling to keep their doors open. The level of 24/7 care I received from Salina and her staff was above and beyond what I have seen in other treatment centers. I feel so blessed that I found SOCD because they really care about your recovery. The empathy and grace I received, and continue to receive, from Salina, Alex and Greg was something I desperately needed. When you stay there it is apparent that they are all doing what they love and what they feel called to do. The therapy I received undoubtably changed the trajectory of my life. I now have over a year of sobriety thanks to Salina and her staff.I recommend SOCD to anyone suffering from addiction and would like to learn how to live a more authentic, purpose-driven life. If you re in a place where you are ready to ask for help they will not drop your hand, they will not give up on you and will not let you down. This place is driven by a lot more than financial gain (which is RARE). Overall, if you are considering treatment I highly recommend SOCD. It is more than just a treatment center, they facilitated an environment where I found it safe to find myself and, if you re ready, they will help you find yourself too.

SOCD and staff are so great I couldn t stop at just one visit I had to go back a second time lol. South Orange County Detox has extremely hard working and caring staff, a nice home like environment, and a very knowledgeable and experienced owner/program director! A stay at SOCD becomes exactly what you, personally, need it to be. This is not a cookie cutter treatment center that just drops you off at meetings and only preaches the big book. At SOCD you receive the attention and the quality of care you need in order to actually heal from alcoholism and addiction. You will not be just another number here. If you are truly ready to live a life, not only physically, free of drugs and alcohol, but emotionally, as well then South Orange County Detox is the place for you.
