What can I say? My stay at Gratitude Lodge was beyond my expectations. This was my first exposure to treatment so I was nervous; nonetheless, I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. ❤️ From the start, the house was definitely a second home for me having traveled from the Midwest. I was warmly received on the first night and settled in comfortably. So many staff members impacted my experience...from the start, Ryan, meeting my at the airport and providing sound advice for tlnext steps in my recovery, Peter for his fantastic music therapy sessions, James for his sincere commitment to my casework, Mario always for his listening skills, Trinity, Justin, Andrew...and everyone beyond.

Best experience of my sober life. I want to personally thank, Trinity, Justin, Mario, Ryan, Eli, Megan, Andrew, Lee, Kyle, James and Peter for everything and that they do. The best staff at any program I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a bit over my fair share). They actually care, they love you and they truly want to see you succeed. A special shout out to James, for always and I mean ALWAYS being in my corner. A shoutout to Trinity for being my confidant when I felt alone in the beginning. To Peter, who listened to all my bullshit with a smile on his face and some music in the background. The best place to get sober and the best people to ever be around. Truly a sober environment, where you learn how to be sober. Not just get sober but BE sober. I’ll forever remember my time here with love, respect and of course plenty of GRATITUDE!!!!!!!

I had such a great experience here. I've been to alot of rehabs and I cant say the same for most of those. I didn't know if I wanted to come in or even be sober and James and Megan stayed out front with me for a long while, patiently helping me to make the right decision to come in and I am so glad I did. They have such a great team of people and I couldn't thank you guys enough. Shout out to James for always staying late and convincing me to not AMA lol i even decides to stay longer, you can tell he really pours his heart into his job and wants to help. Same goes for Megan and Ryan you guys are really the best.

This place goes above and beyond for its clients. Let’s just say I’ve been there more than once on my road to recovery. The staff have become my second family. They have an alumni person that’s reaches out to clients to follow up after treatment and I call her my guardian angel. This place saved my life more than once and I believe it could do the same for you or your loved one. Highly recommend!

Numa is a wonderful facility helping many people suffering from the disease of addiction. The staff truly cares and shows the utmost attention to detail. I would recommend to any family member or friend!!!

Opus is amazing. I came out to California from Missouri for treatment and wasn’t expecting much, honestly. However, the staff at opus were incredibly kind, caring, and listened to my needs when it came to my treatment. This place is fantastic!

I attended Opus Women Rehab more than once and each time I go there I feel like I’m stepping home. Staff is amazing, accommodations are comfortable and classes are educational. Staff if very kind, loving and care for you as an individual. At opus you get a therapist, medical staff, case worker and a small group of housemates. On weekends we get out to do activities to bond and it’s great! I would highly recommend coming here because they do help change your life and are there to help celebrate the wins!

Great place for women to learn grow & recovery

I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. If pacific sands is anything like Conor than I know anyone who comes here will be in great hands.

This place was amazing, very friendly staff who helped me through the tough time. I was given all the necessary tools to recover and get my life back on track. I hope I never need to go back to treatment again, but if I do I would definitely go back to Pacific Sands.

Life-Changing Experience Our family will always be grateful for this treatment center. From the moment one of our family members arrived, the staff made them feel seen, respected, and understood. Many of them are in recovery themselves, and that made such a difference — they truly get it. The environment was warm, nurturing, and safe — exactly what our relative needed to begin healing. The people there, both staff and other residents, were genuine and supportive. This is a place where real change and growth can happen. Their authenticity and care provide hope, community, and a new start.

I came to Clear a few years ago desperately needing help for my substance use disorder. They worked with my insurance but more importantly than that they worked with me. The staff genuinely cared about my achieving long term sobriety and it showed. Their employees were nothing short of amazing from Program Director to the team of therapists, case managers, nurses, and technicians who not only insured my detox was comfortable but made me feel cared for. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone struggling with substance use and or mental health issues of any kind. I wish I could leave more than five stars.

My wife and I had the opportunity to spend two days with team member Tim Arrigo, and we were truly impressed. The depth of his experience, the quality of the information he provided, and the personal, real-life insights he shared were outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement. I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!

If ur serious about changing ur life and overcoming addictions and building yourself I would recommend OC REVIVE or its affiliate program Rize.oc over any other program in orange county...I give it to all the staff members from the start of intake to the coin out and completion first minute I called they verified my benefits and had me an Uber to my rescue all in less then 5 minutes the best impulse call and move I've ever made ,Patrick runs a no bs effective program and each staff member there was perfectly chosen to work there they have all been through the ringer with broken people and continue to show up ,big thanks to oc revive they even have a on-call uber service and pet friendly.god shot central ..this is all my personal experience coming up on a year clean from fetnyl

I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. Anchored Tides is the place for you if you are considering changing you current status with addiction. I was just another drug addict going in and out of rehabs and running the streets. A playboy always chasing the next fix. I landed in the care of Dr. Marshall at Decicato. I remember sitting in the room for my first group meeting and Dr. Marshall coming in to lead the group. He told his story and It gave me chills through my body. I felt like I had finally found somebody I could relate to and it gave me hope I spent the next 4 weeks giving it everything I had and following his lead. I met my soon to be wife through the Dedicato program (we get married tomorrow) and we have 2 kids and a life that I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams I could have. I was treated kindly coming into dedicato had a couple rough steps moving forward at first but the team at Dedicato helped me move forward any anxiety and fear was stripped from me spending more and more time there, felt very welcomed and the staff was very welcoming. Everyone at Dedicato including the patients and staff all related to alot things I experienced in life and gave me the direction to keep me on a straight path. The one thing that I will carry with me throughout this entire process is that there is more things to life on the exterior then what we feel like doing on the interior. The highlight of my time here was all the activities and groups I would attend climbing mountains physical and mental, also working out activities in the gym they have learning how to balance my mind during the hardships where I wanted to give up but learned to not let myself break during that and the zoom meetings with Charles having stand of jokes as well as being serious on why I’m here, point is come here if your dying to see a light and hope and to feel understood as a person and be accepted for themselves. You’ll also see a picture of a tool that dedicato offers that helped me transform my life .

Dedicato saved my life and the life of my unborn son... Because of the work and commitment they provided me i was able to obtain custody of all 3 of my kids. Today I am clean and sober and loving life. I never imagined my life would ever be like this. I am so grateful for the Marshalls when I was going through my toughest times they were there for me. They gave me hope. Today I use the tools I learned in my everyday life. My kids are happy and we finally have a home. Dr Marshall taught me a lot and by doing so I was able to get a job as an outreach representative for a community health center. Who would of thought an addict like me would be where I am today. This is a great place. The staff are nice. Merlo, Darrin, Paul, Sean and everyone else there are of great help to people there. I can't remember all the names. Follow ups from them Merlo even after discharge.

I love Casa Capri. The programming is excellent, particularly the groups. Individual therapy, nutrition counseling, and case management sessions are also very helpful. The staff at Casa are top-notch. The high quality programming is really where this facility shines. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff was integral to my recovery and motivation. I always felt valued and safe. Grace House (the nutrition/eating disorder house) has a special place in my heart. I suffered from a severe eating disorder for over 5 years and finally feel like I’ve overcome it. The dietitians, Hanna and Juliette, are very knowledgeable and great at their jobs. The accommodations are clean and very home-y; the vibe is definitely not institutional or hospital-like. I loved the neighborhood cat too. I recommend Casa without reservation to anyone looking to recover from an eating disorder and/or substance abuse issue. I’ve been to other treatment centers for both problems and Casa is the best. Casa Capri Recovery is truly the most wonderful and clinically strong all-female program I've ever encountered. I've trusted them with my family members and friends struggling with addictive (substance use) and eating disorders, and every time, they were met with unmatched professionalism and pure kindness. Finding a truly sound, all-female program is rare and more difficult than I ever imagined, but Casa Capri sets the standard. The clinical depth, safety, and community they provide for women is incredibly needed and simply the best available. I am so grateful they are filling this need for women struggling everywhere. You’re reading this for a reason! Whatever that reason is, my hope is that when you finish you will seek help today, whether for yourself or someone you care for. If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve read a few other reviews for treatment centers. At this point, you’re almost certainly tired of reading, “This place saved my life”, over and over and over. The phrase starts to lose gravity. The truth for me, however, is that SCC did not save my life. That would be too simple an explanation of what SCC did for me. SCC didn’t sanded my life, they armed me with the necessary weaponry to walk into battle, to save my own life, and to continue living with honesty, integrity, and self-worth. SCC has something special. Whether you know it or not, you want it too, trust me. Some of the luxuries of private treatment are there, but that’s not it. What’s special at SCC is the authentic warmth, care, and concern of all the staff. Most of them are in recovery themselves, and ALL of them have been affected by addiction in some way or another and have chosen a path of helping others. This is reflected in the general attitude of the clients, and I can say that when i was there, I felt truly safe. I felt genuinely cared for, and I did not feel like a number or a dollar sign. That’s a huge deal! Just as huge a deal, is the clinical staff’s ability and knowledge, as well as their skill in delivery of information in a way that everyone can understand. The groups were super engaging and current. SCC is one of the few places that really understands the nature of group therapy, and does not execute it like a class or a lecture. Groups at SCC are interactive and interesting and there’s a healthy lean towards peer support and feedback. Another thing that’s different about SCC, is that they accept private insurance, but they are also a nonprofit so they accept some different types of health insurance you might not expect, and sometimes they do things like scholarships for people in need of treatment that might not have the necessary resources. For example, when I was seeking treatment I had a difficult time finding a good treatment center that would take my health insurance because it was through Covered California. SCC was one of the few places that accepted my Blue Shield of CA PPO, and I know they also accepted my friends Blue Shield HMO too, which is amazing! The best thing I could suggest is if you’re in need of help, no matter what insurance you have, just call SCC and ask! The admissions women are outstanding human beings, and whether or not SCC is able to help you, they will help you find a place that’s right for you! That’s pretty incredible if you ask me. Here’s the point… if you want to go to treatment and sit around and wait for them to save your life, don’t call SCC, but if you’re looking for a great group of people that care about what they do, if you’re thinking you might need a little help, and you’re willing to do a little work, SCC is your spot! The rewards you experience will be indescribable, I promise you that.

Overall my experience was great! One of the things I was disappointed most with was the inability to have access to a gym while in treatment. In my opinion self care in recovery requires inclusivity of our physical health and well being. During admissions it was promised that it would be available once on site. This was not the case after arrival. However, I trusted the direction of my Case Manager Nicole who was an outstanding person and able to take care of all my needs while in treatment she was AMAZING! In addition, my Therapist Melissa was wonderful to work with. Melissa's ability to connect with me and recommend excellent coping skills helped me in ways I didn't think were possible. It took openness and willingness to allow those processes to take effect. I had a really good stay at treatment even though my expectations fell short of what I thought would be included after my arrival here. I look forward to the future ahead now that I'm discharging. Best of luck to anyone coming to South Coast for a treatment program.
