UPDATE UPDATE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Million and One Stars for the Care I Received ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited the ER 8/9/25 and had another incredible experience that I feel deeply grateful for. From start to finish, the level of care I received was nothing short of amazing. I would truly give a million and one stars if I could—especially to my nurse Noel and my doctor. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication were clear every step of the way. Noel, this isn’t our first run-in, and while I truly hope it’s our last (at least in a hospital setting!), I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care, patience, and kindness you showed me once again. You go above and beyond, and it never goes unnoticed. This hospital genuinely cares about your health. They treat you like a person, not just a patient—and that makes all the difference. I also want to gently remind anyone reading this: when you visit an ER, please remember it’s not a hotel, and the staff are not there to wait on you—they’re there to save lives. If you’re waiting, it usually means you’re stable and someone more critical needs immediate care. Once you understand that, your whole perspective shifts, and the experience becomes much less frustrating. So thank you again, to Noel, my amazing doctor, and the entire ER team. You’re all heroes, and I’m incredibly thankful for everything you do! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UPDATE I recently had a visit to the ER at UCI Los Alamitos (7/27/25) , and while I did spend my entire stay in the ER lobby (which is just the reality of how emergency rooms can be these days), I still received absolutely outstanding care from the entire team. Nurses Alyssa and Jenny truly went above and beyond for me. They were so kind, patient, and attentive—making me feel genuinely seen and cared for. It’s rare to feel that kind of compassion in such a busy environment, but they managed it effortlessly. I also want to thank Dr. Keenan and Dr. Icasiano, who were both brilliant. Despite the chaos of a very hectic ER, they were incredibly thorough in trying to figure out what was going on with me and helped manage my pain with empathy and professionalism. As someone who is chronically ill and unfortunately has to visit the hospital often, it really meant a lot to feel heard. That simple act of being listened to is powerful, and it says a lot about the culture and care at this ER. Thank you again to everyone who helped me—I can’t say it enough. I never thought I’d be writing a positive review about an ER visit, but here we are — and it’s all thanks to the incredible team who took care of me on 7/19/25 around 7 PM. From the moment I got there, Liz and Natasha (my amazing nurses) were total angels. They were patient, gentle, and truly present — checking in on me, making sure I was as comfortable as possible, and showing real compassion in a situation that can easily feel overwhelming. You don’t always get that level of care in a hospital setting, but they went above and beyond. The EMT specialist — aka the guy with the great hair (you know who you are!) — was not only professional and kind during the visit, but after my stay, he personally wheeled me out to my car. He made sure I got in safely and even took a moment to meet my adorable puppy — and he was an absolute sweetheart to her too! That little gesture meant so much more than he probably realized. And then there’s Dr. Chapman. I can’t thank him enough . It’s rare these days to meet a doctor, especially in the ER, who genuinely listens. He didn’t rush, he asked thoughtful questions, and he made me feel heard — which honestly made all the difference. This whole team reminded me that there are still people in healthcare who truly care. I walked (well, rolled) out of there feeling not just better physically, but seen and respected. Thank you all for treating me like a human and not just a chart. You’re the best. 💛

Met Daniel Chan today. He was very helpful & knowledgeable. The staff was helpful & efficient. Overall a very pleasant visit.
