Serenity Knolls saved my daughter's life! First program in 10 years that. Accually helped her heal. Wonderful people work there and the director Nancy Lambert is amazing! I am so grateful that my daughter finally got professional help! I had to beg Kiaser to pay for it but they finally did. Can't say enough about the quality of the therapist there. Also is gorgeous property.

Reflections saved my life. The entire program is incredible. The staff is truly amazing, the owners, the directors, the nurses, the program managers and assistants, the chefs, every single one of the takes time to personally care about each of clients individually, we are seen and heard and they truly love and care about us as people. Even in life after reflections I know I can call any time day or night if needed, they will remember me and help me even if it’s just a moment where I only need someone to listen. There is no other program like this and they go out of their way to really strive for the success stories the first time around. And if it takes another round they ensure you are a priority and know it’s a matter of life or death . They will do everything in their power to save your life and make a person want to be saved. Those struggling and/or in need of help, Reflections is the perfect place.
Reflections is differentiated in a few ways. First, their approach is holistic; it's about more than just getting sober. The program includes reading and educational sessions, group discussions/therapy, individual therapy, and a personalized recovery plan. The professionals at Reflections are fantastic with a wide range of issues, including co-occurring disorders. And my program was tailored to involve my loved ones as much or as little as I preferred. Second, as much as it's possible, it's a fun and enjoyable experience. The food is phenomenal, the facilities are beautiful and well-maintained, and the environment is friendly and collegial (with both staff and fellow residents). Third, and most importantly, Reflections is one of the (if not the only) independently owned facilities in the area. This means that staff optimizes around what's best for the resident, and not what's just best for insurance. They truly care about each individual far more than the bottom line, which is apparent in both treatment issues as well as collaborative payment/insurance resolutions.
I have two pieces of constructive feedback. One, I recommend stronger communication channels and coordination between the clinical staff and the operations team. I can only imagine how challenging it is to handle the ever-shifting complex operations at Reflections (e.g., living arrangements, staffing, scheduling, speakers, unforeseen individual needs), so it's no easy task. But occasionally there was some confusion on schedule changes with session content and/or timing. However, we were able to quickly resolve these issues as they were raised. And second, my arrival/onboarding was a bit scattered and piecemeal. I did arrive last minute, and my situation was unique (as previously discussed with staff, I moved between the McClay and Simmons facilities after a couple of days). But I would recommend that one staff person be assigned the holistic onboarding process that's completed/reviewed as the resident is acclimating to the program. Those two issues are minor, but I wanted to be comprehensive in my feedback.
I built very strong relationships there, ones that I continue to value and maintain months later. I get together with my fellow residents, and I love seeing staff members at meetings and events around the Bay. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I am not happy that I spent time in a facility such as this, but it being necessary, I am thrilled that I chose Reflections for this brief chapter of my (new and much improved) life.

There are wonderful things about Duffy's- but also things that aren't. Amazing trust between residents and wonderful small groups, beautiful nature, delicious food, and really comfortable rooms. Some staff were like gold and others wronged me to the point that a full investigation was conducted. The results were in my favor, which thankfully led to a change in policy. There is some trauma there and some staff are truly as cold as ice. But I want to emphasize that the ones that shine saved my life.

I am mostly pleased with my time at Duffys. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. I have been sober for two years.
My concerns are the following. The staff as good as they were definitely had favorites. From reading the nightly N/a /a/a meetings to other stuff. Also there is an administrative leak when it comes to housing. I stayed in the villa which is a somewhat private area. Somehow the ladies in adjoining Villa knew ahead of time who my roommate was going to be and the were right I thought this was strange that they knew before me who was living in the Villa.
Most importantly in the bigger picture of my journey in Sobriety they were good. My counselor Mary was the best. (, Ive been sober for over two years and the friends I met there are still my friends to this day. Thank you Duffys for 2.5 years of Sobriety

Azure Acres saved me. It mended me and gave me back myself, the true version of me that I had long lost to alcohol. I was beyond being able to help myself, but they were able to help me. Going to Azure Acres was likely the best decision of my life. It repaired me as a person, in turn allowing me to heal my relationships and build a future I couldn't see before. You will learn so much about addiction and yourself. I now have over 3 years and 7 weeks of sobriety without so much as a hiccup. The staff are incredibly caring and passionate about their jobs. By far. the best (out of 7 total) rehab facilities I've ever been to. They actually do trauma therapy, and you get sessions with a licensed psychologist twice a week, in addition to your drug counselor. The very best therapists I have EVER worked with. And the best drug counselor I've ever had.
I've been looking for therapy like this, and the answers I got at Olympia House, for 20 years. They are the most skilled, caring, and professional team of people I've ever worked with in mental health. I'm dual diagnosis, so I've been seeing professionals for my mental health for 25 years.
Some of their curriculum is custom, developed in house by the psychologists there—you won't find tools like these anywhere else. I have a custom designed "addictive system" I use every day to track where I am in my recovery and mental health. I use this not only to prevent relapses, but correct myself if I run off course, and this works not just for substance relapses but also things like depression, anxiety, and anger.
Their website doesn't reflect this, but they take Kaiser Permanente insurance now. That's the only reason I was able to come here.
I know reviews are inflated on the Internet, but please trust me, I swear with every fiber of my being and every ounce of integrity I have, this is likely the best rehab in California. If you have trauma, and most people do, or some form of PTSD, this is the place you should go.
They also focus on finding meaning and purpose in life--and they will definitely help you with that.
They also allow you to come back to the rehab twice a year for 2-3 days for free! They call it a "tune up". No one else I know of does this. There's also free group therapy for alumni (a process group led by one of the therapists there) once a week via Zoom.
I would wake up many times in OH in disbelief that this place exists at all, and that I got to be a resident here. They've made an enormous difference in the outcome of my life.
******ADDENDUM******
I recently read a review of OH where someone on the autism spectrum had a difficult experience. I'm sorry to hear that, but I simply wanted to say I'm (diagnosed) autistic (ASD 1/Aspergers) myself and felt that OH not only understood the strengths and limitations that can come with that, but also caused me to realize I had overestimated how different I was from my peers because of my autism. I still have it, of course, but the result of being at OH was a clearer picture of its actual impact in my life, particularly with peer relationships. I can't thank them enough for helping me with this, I have a much healthier social life today as a result.

First the facility and the land it's on is beyond beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better place to wake up everyday while recovering.
Everyone that works for O.H genuinely cares. They make u feel like you unique and special. They offer soo many different activities and teach you so much about yourself and addiction. They give you the tools and resources for when you leave.
They do not turn anyone away UNLESS you require more specialized care being that they are not a hospital with a doctor on site.

Olympia House Rehabilitation in Petaluma, California saved my life as well as countless others!
The intense inpatient program includes psychologists, counselors, process group meetings, group classes, one on one meetings as well as yoga, guided meditation, animal therapy, garden, therapy, art and music too.
Olympia House is situated on quiet, peaceful, and safe, 100+ acre farm/ranch.
The doctors, couselors, and staff all work to help identify the root cause of the core distortions that contribute to substance abuse. The focus of the residents mind, body, and spirit are all addressed.
Additionally, there is a lifetime of free continuous care for the alumni that includes zoom process groups, AA/NA meetings, visits once a year for two days at the house. The alumni portion of treatment is all free of charge. I cannot say enough good things regarding Olympia House. I highly recommend this program. Thank you, Sherry P.

I just discharged from the Atherton house. It was a lovely place. As a woman who has experienced so much trauma in my life (of all kinds) I have a hard time feeling safe especially around strangers and in a new place. I have to admit that I felt very safe just like I was at home. I was at home; Avery Lane Atherton facility was my home. Temporarily. I made friends with all of the other women (clients). The other women were all friendly and welcoming to me. It's never easy going to rehab but if it was; this place is a good way for it to feel that way. The therapists are highly educated and skilled. My therapist (Summer LanFranco) helped rewire my brain in literally 60 days. She has to be God sent because she works miracles. I'm a walking miracle in the sense that I am actually living on my own and I am not completely depressed or in a crisis. I never thought I could do it. I didn't know how. And that is okay because I don't have to have all the answers or any answers for the matter just the want to and today I do want to because I now know it's possible. I used to want to die I mean I really didn't want to live. I was so scared and stressed out about being alone and scared. I'm not scared anymore either. I mean there were times when I looked at her sideways and even talked some shit with the other women (nothing horrible just the usual bitching lol) but I always had to take it back because she was so good at what she does she was helping me when I didn't even expect or know what was happening. She is so talented I have to give her credit simply because I pay my debts now lol and she has earned it. I used to think that I was going to die by suicide or a fentanyl overdose but I don't think like that anymore. I have to of course give all the Glory to the Good Lord for if it was not supposed to be it would not so thank you heavenly Father for always keeping me in your favor. Thank you Avery Lane.

You can't watch any television except for Saturday night movie night where you are alotted 1 movie that the ENTIRE HOUSE MUST AGREE ON And it can't be anything entertaining (sex drugs vulgar language drinking gang activity or anything that is too sad depressing reminds you of something bad or triggers you THERES ALWAYS THAT ONE WHO MANIPULATES THE STAFF TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS but you might get to go to Peet's coffee on Saturday not guaranteed though also no candy or junk food or soda WHATSOEVER

I don't understand why we had a chef there who made food that I could have made just as crappy as I could(tuna sandwiches so basic no pickles no nothing). Not to mention the same bagels and salmon every week. We ALL DREADED ANNE EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT SHE DIDN'T LEAVE ANY DISHES FROM COOKING BUT WE WOULD HAVE RATHER DISHES THAN BLAND BASIC FOOD. Not to mention that I don't eat shell fish or fish and those things were prepared at least 4 or 5 times a week so that's how many meals I would go without because accomodations were just too much to ask for of the chef who has 3 hours to make a bunch of tuna sandwiches for 5 women who secretly despise it.

Mountain Vista Farm is the oldest rehab in California dating back to 1949. A beautiful country setting with old buildings and a feeling of summer camp. The staff are very warm and welcoming, always there for a hug or a listening ear. The food is top notch! Salmon, steaks, gyros, chicken and loads of salad (green and fruit) at every lunch/dinner. Also, plenty of healthy snacks 24 hours a day. Most insurances cover the costs and they will work with you if private pay is necessary. I give it 5 stars

I came to Mountain Vista Farm’s a broken man. My addiction has led me to suffer from alcohol use disorder. I needed help. I have two undergraduate bachelor degree one in business economics and one in psychology and I have an MBA. Because I am successful out in the real world I felt like I could outsmart my addiction to alcohol use disorder, but I couldn’t outsmart it. There’s a concept you learned about Mountain Vista Farm at a high-level I went through the different phases for a long time. Alcohol was fun. Then it was fun with problems. Then it was just problems. And so I learned at Mountain Vista Farm with a very caring and kind set a very certified and capable staff . That the concept of the ‘yet’s’ Havent completely got me all the way. I learned through a combination of childhood trauma that I have held onto some emotions and alcohol I thought was my chance to escape. Our child had medication resistant severe depression. Muir Woods helped find the right medication and provided a supportive environment over covid no less. My child is thriving and we both agree that even though it was a hard period, it was the best choice to get them treatment. The tutors worked with his teachers and he maintained a 4.0 while getting better.

At the scariest time of our lives my son was able to recover from Psychosis at Muir Wood in Petaluma & has been on a positive path since. It’s exactly what we needed to help stabilize him & are so very grateful for his time there. Thank you to everyone, especially his therapist Lars!!! My only suggestion is to individualize each kids rules to their circumstances/needs. I believe he could’ve had an even better experience there & easier recovery in his mental health had he been able to go on all outings to feel some normalcy again which was direly needed for him.

My experience at the Santa Rosa VA has been exceptional except for my blood draw. I have very fine veins and the person doing my blood draw used a big needle after I explained that only a fine butterfly needle could work. I could not believe that she used a medium if not large needle and stuck it deep into my arm. She got no blood and put me through immeasurable pain! I have never had this happen before ever! After all that my blood work was never sent to me. At age 70 I really should be considered to be the expert on what my needs are. She completely discounted everything. Then she referred me to a supervisor who said oh I see what you mean! Not happy!

I took a dear family friend here and they mixed up his appointment. He was very frustrated and said the staff are disorganized. The building itself is large and looks clean and well-maintained with lots of parking out front. We need to take good care of our veterans and give them priority for their health.

very good place. shoutout to kylee, alex, victor, and especially therapist lisa. they could do more about the sharps though because there was legit so many sharps getting passed around while I was there. anyways this place kind of inspired me to go and work at a treatment facility because this place helped my mental health and drug issues a lot. <3
anyways it does NOT cost that much to get A/C. if this place doesn't get A/C within a year I'm going to go outside this facility, get on channel 16 with a radio, and scream profanities directed to the CEO.

Our child had medication resistant severe depression. Muir Woods helped find the right medication and provided a supportive environment over covid no less. My child is thriving and we both agree that even though it was a hard period, it was the best choice to get them treatment. The tutors worked with his teachers and he maintained a 4.0 while getting better.

At the scariest time of our lives my son was able to recover from Psychosis at Muir Wood in Petaluma & has been on a positive path since. It’s exactly what we needed to help stabilize him & are so very grateful for his time there. Thank you to everyone, especially his therapist Lars!!! My only suggestion is to individualize each kids rules to their circumstances/needs. I believe he could’ve had an even better experience there & easier recovery in his mental health had he been able to go on all outings to feel some normalcy again which was direly needed for him.

This place is amazing if you're willing to stay clean. I've been to another clinic In town when I first moved to Santa Rosa from Oakland. The people at the first clinic I went to were very condescending and less than helpful. When I switched over to SRTP I have been treated respectfully by 99% of the staff. Switching clinics to this one was one of the better decisions I've made since I moved to Santa Rosa. My counselor is amazing and really cares about what's going on with me and tries to help me find solutions for problems when they arise in my personal life. The dosing nurses are all very helpful and polite. They're also very encouraging and good at their jobs. The other thing that really struck me about this place was there was one day where a lady fell asleep in her car out in the parking lot. People didn't know if she was overdosing or something and the way that the staff reacted to the situation and how they rushed to help this person even though they didn't end up needing help in the end.... It was impressive and possibly could have been life-saving. This clinic really does care about people and they treat everybody with dignity. Thank you SRTP. You guys have helped me save my own life.

I am so happy to say this place works if you’re willing to get clean. I wouldn’t be where I am today if wasn’t for the wonderful staff and counselors. This place can save your life from the mistakes we make. I seriously cannot begin to describe how happy I am with this place and how grateful I am. What can I say, this place was the start of my recovery and sobriety. I can't believe at the time I am writing this review I currently have two years and one month of continuous sobriety. Campo, seemed just like yesterday. I spent 30 days at this place and learned about the 12 steps, got a sponsor right at a meeting held at the facility and got serious about recovery. I hold Campo near and dear to my heart. The staff really cares about you; they absolutely want you to succeed in your recovery. Very home like and smaller groups of people recovering from alcohol and addiction compared to other rehabilitation centers. Campobello is a HUGE part of my recovery and my journey. I went to the ER the first night I checked in due to my detox. The staff new exactly what to do and were very professional. I encourage you, if you think you may be an addict or alcoholic, know that you are, or have a family member who needs recovery, check Campobello out and give them a call. This disease is cunning, baffling and powerful! Without help, it is too much for us! I have THE BEST life I could ask for because of AA and recovery; it all started at Campo! I would have most likely been dead if I had not gone to rehab. Thank you Camobello and staff members! You have truly been a blessing! Put in the work and keep coming back. The Victory home is a win in itself,
I spent half a year there in recovery under the shutdown and city control change over.
My addiction to life lead me down the wrong terms in life I never .
Never was a big drug user, I was a alcoholic from my first years moving to California.
I worked in the butcher blocks of life I the kitchen I never knew what this home was I called here and there even when called upon picked up on I till neglected it because being black in a dominant Hispanic church had lines drawn.
Especially the way people speak on political matters or division.
But upon arrival I was a lil off especially during pandemic alot I could've did to make it .
But I arrived broke mad at the world my parents my step parents and God parents o the choices to pull me here and with police neglect and unlawful force on other terms
I was hurt emotionally after serving a decade plus still striving to define legit works.
And feeling in Jim crow.
I let the shop work go I dropped cold turkey.
And I was shaking I read sonnys words on a radical free movement on religion scriptures and being relative from the eastern coast in bon in the great lakes and Tru state area I took my chances at detox I seen people I probably would've tried to shake off.
Especially being on level 4 on two states and a circle next door to each other and earning my credentials with all these terms on flawless mercy.
I had disbelief I saw enemies. And doubt without my brothers then I seen pastor Sonny his son who would've Neva came to if I knew he was one of the shop customers and me fighting my life choices and god-parents on every level and my career choices.
I read stories of Esther watch movies of courage and write some many scriptures of loyalty to the word and stories of triumph over binds of color and status.
Watched plays of celebration , romance threw every service gave unconditional with a bias black heart still I put my hand in was taught lessons of trust in blindspots.
And brought back of memories in A.A meeting them in disguise traveling threw the bay area and then finding a victory home an my own terms in my homelands near my mom. I failed but the gospel of recovery will always live on

Was here back in April(2024), got placed on a 5150. Lowkey a safe haven if you hate your home life. They say “try not to come back” but then give me a good time over there 🤣. 9/10 would attempt again, just to be there.
Comparing everything from my personal life to this place, it was effing heaven. No responsibilities, no school, no homework, no chores, free food, free showers, free clothes, free soap, free shampoo, free lotion. What more could you ask for?!! This place is like a haven. Hell I wished the world babied me like they did for me there. Just follow the golden rule, “treat others the way you want to be treated” and you shall be rewarded accordingly.
This got a 4/5 because they treat you very well. Sure it gives you hope but when you feel all better they release you back into the open world of suffering.
This place won’t fix you but it will definitely hold the burden of responsibility for a while. If you need a break from life, put yourself under 5150. Mental health is a serious issue and give yourself the break you deserve and admit yourself there(if you have insurance).
