St John of God is now Phoenix House. They just opened their doors after receiving the county contract. This comes after SJOG went out of business. Phoenix House offers inpatient care and medication assisted treatment with medications to help persons reduce the need to use dangerous drugs like fentanyl and begin a new path of recovery.
There is a men’s side and a female side that are separated, each with its drug and alcohol program. Transportation to appointments is provided. There are individual and group counseling sessions, mental health treatment, nursing on site, and a Medical Doctor. They also have case management team to assist the patient receive outside services including housing and for aftercare. They have on site kitchen and dining rooms, laundry, refurbished dorms, meeting and group rooms, a pool, outside gym and recreation yard and various entertainment activities and workshops are done throughout each day.

After many failed attempts to quit using drugs on my own I decided to accept help and entered into Revival Recovery treatment center. I showed up broken, dope sick, full of resentments, and hopeless. I was desperate to get clean and get my relationship back with the Lord, but I never expected a transformation to take place. The staff were some of the best guys I have ever met. They all had hearts to serve the lord and love others. They welcomed me with open arms and loved me when I couldn’t love myself. They patiently waited for me to let my walls down and expose my heart. I desperately wanted to get closer to the Lord but I couldn’t have imagined the depth of the Journey I was about to go on! It was Truly a life changing experience and I will forever be grateful for all of the people, (counselors, clients, therapists, pastors, and staff) that guided me and walked with me in the Journey. To those of you reading this considering entering a treatment program or looking for help for a loved one I pray that you take some time and seek the Lord for your answers. I was a patient at DFC rehab facility and recently graduated. I can say hands down they saved my life . Not only did they teach me about alcoholism and what it means to be in recovery . i developed long time friendships that i know will help me to stay sober . i also loved how caring the staff where. I wasn't the easiest patient at first but with their love and support i was able to not only become a recovering alcoholic but i have become a whole new person . I would highly recommend going here if you or a family member is still struggling

This was my second tine in DFC outpatient treatment, the reason I chose DFC was their teaching, there, client, and the friendly environment. I have been to many treatment centers in my past when I knew in my heart I was serious about recovering from drugs and alcohol. There was no other place that I wanted to go other than Design For Change. They give group and individual counseling tailored for the individual which helped me tremendously. They help me find out what I want and how to go about getting it in the group setting they don’t allow disturbances. They make sure everyone is focused. An attentive, which makes it easy to learn. DFC, my wife says thank you for giving her her husband back.

I came here for courtesy dose in August and again in November. They are great there! If I move out here this is the clinic I definitely would go here.The price for just 7 days of methadone was $140!! This is the 2 nd time I paid this price for a week. We don’t have much money we are trying to get our lives back and this is a life or death medication for us.
The methadone is way overpriced here, while it is not an expensive drug from the pharmacy.

I went through IVRS in May of 2020 and I was a complete mess. Drugs and alcohol were how I coped with the emotional distress I had been long experiencing and during my time at IVRS the staff, the structure, and the atmosphere provided me with an atmosphere that I could make a lasting change. Today, I am not just sober; I am at happy & at peace. I don't miss the days I used to abuse drugs/alcohol and that is an absolute miracle. I am so grateful for the staff that dedicated their lives and careers to being of service to those struggling with addiction. I hope that the staff knows how much of a difference that they are making in the lives of those that enter treatment.

It’s a good program. You need to be motivated. If you follow the rules and complete inpatient they can get you into one of their sober livings which is way better than the ones you pay for. They offer everything you need to be successful, MAT services, therapy, psychiatrists, nurses and meds. They’ll help you with anything you need, you just need a little patience.

I had a wonderful experience here! From the staff members to the positive brotherhood here with all the guys. The classes here are very insightful and I have a learned a lot about addiction, myself and many other things. Also it’s a beautiful scenery and plenty of activities to do like pool, gym pickle ball, pool table and even a music studio.. just make sure you come prepared with clothes and your own hygiene products. The only complaint I have is they were short on towels when I got here.

I went here when I was 12. I struggle a lot with mental health, and I will say this place really helped me a lot , they put me on great medication, staff was good.

This program has changed my life completely! Ramona leads an incredible program, the entire treatment from start to finish was thorough and well thought out. The therapists, Xavier, Maggy, and Ghazeleh showed grace, empathy, care, and genuine compassion to every single patient. I was fortunate enough to have Paola, the clinical therapist lead, as my main therapist and we uncovered years of traumatic experiences I was not ready to face. I will forever recommend this program to anyone in need and look forward to the after care they offer after completing this program!

I stayed in the adult section (unit 300) for 5 days. It was a good experience overall, even with a couple scary moments from other patients. The food was good, the patients were sweet, and the staff was on top of things. The only issue I had with this place is I believe they need more Spanish speaking staff on the floor and more phones available. Overall, I feel like everyone was treated fairly and I liked the activities that they had for us.

t's very important to me that this review reaches the highest level of supervisors or authorities at this whole institution. Far too many times people are willing to go out of their way to leave a review when they have a bad or unpleasant experience somewhere. But when there's a great experience or something goes well, it gets unsaid, nobody ever hears about it. Dr Reier, is an example of someone who should be recognized and praised publicly!
Less than 12 hours of being admitted into the hospital, after a visit to the ER, for numbness and tingling in my legs, Neurosurgeon, Dr Reier, enters my room and explains to me, with a language I can understand, what is taking place in my body. He then gives me an explanation of the treatment and need for emergency surgery. He spoke with a confidence and I easily trusted him.
With no hesitation or delay, I was prepped and ready for surgery. All the departments
Came together and strategically did their parts. The process seemed to take place so perfectly and for that I had instant gratitude. What came next is what really blew my mind.
First realizing that this team of surgeons had just prevented me from having a lifetime of permanent bowel and urine dysfunction and possibly paralysis.
This team or should I say teams of family medicine Doctors and neurosurgeons and follow up care professionals, have given me an experience I would have never expected. I swear they should have just all had a set of wings and been floating in the air. I have never seen so many kind people, especially in the medical field where people are crabby and moody.. it almost seems unreal that doctor after doctor nurse after nurse, everybody who has entered my room, has done so with such a pleasant grace that makes me emotional to think that these people exist and actually care about my health and my condition.
Dr Reier, has gone way above and way beyond what's normally expected from a surgeon? He has spent extra time, never making me feel rushed or like he was bothered. He requested that my family stay back so that he could give a full. Illustration, to explain to them and help them understand the situation. He has communicated with them and made sure that they understand what's going on amd what's going to come. We are so grateful to him.
Every single nurse that has been assigned to me, has been wonderful.
It seems as though this entire staff took an extra course in kindness.
ICU nurses Dana, Diana, Alzen, Allison, Eliza, charge nurses Brittney and Sarah, oh my goodness these women deserve to be honored for the level of care that they provide so lovingly. Each one has given me such genuine polite kind, sweet treatment because this time for me has been very challenging and the pain that i'm going through, along with the other things like not being able to use the bathroom on my own and so on. Not one of these women has made me feel uncomfortable or inconvenienced.
Let's talk about the team!!! Omg!!!! With all that has already been said about the fore-mentioned people, you already think it can't get any better than this. Then WOW here comes the team.
