As someone who has struggled with depression and trauma for a long time, I am pleasantly surprised after only a month of PHP level of treatment, I am already starting to feel better and see some light at the end of the tunnel. Group therapy has been key. The therapists they have facilitating these groups are very good at what they do - gently pushing us to find the answers within ourselves. The other clientele I have encountered in group are all very relatable humans, all dealing with unique, yet remarkably similar issues. There is a real sense of community here, and it is something I have begun to look forward to. I have also just begun the process of ketamine assisted therapy. This is a lot more than just having a pleasurable drug experience you might find offered in other settings. There is great time and care put into each part of the process. From preparing you by setting intentions with your therapist, to the calm and comforting space provided, all the way through to integration of the experience the following day, you feel supported and cared for throughout the entire journey.

I couldn’t have asked for a better facility to have come too for my recovery. The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, gaining knowledge on steps for your personal recovery, and many ways to having fun. You get 3 group sessions a day with counselor coming in to help you with your recovery. Huge reason I was able to leave here feeling comfortable in knowing I’ll overcome this disease. There are exceptional nurses at Sherman Oaks!!!! Caitlin, Kevin, and Richard took great care of me. They answered all my questions except for when I was released the nurse I had when I was released couldn’t get me answers because there was no one for them to answer them!!!! I still don’t have an answer on who sets up home health care and physical therapy!! I am so agitated with no answers for that and follow up doctor appointments????

My experience at Sherman Oaks hospital was the best I've had so far of any doctors visits. The staff were super friendly and professional. The doctor was everything I could hope for as far as making a patient feel comfortable and explained every procedure in detail that you could easily understand. Recommend to anyone

Medical staff was just simply amazing. Only problem that I have encountered is at the intake part when you first walk in in an ER. The lady that was taking our information to check my dad in was absolutely totally miserably rude. Was lazy and utterly rude, kept saying how the waiting time to get called in was 2h hours, basically don’t bother sitting around waiting and here’s my dad who is 83 with congestive heart failure being sort of kind of turned down by an intake front person. We literally get called in 15 minutes later and as soon as we got called in, everything from there on was just literally heaven. A ++++ for Medical Staff.
