But our kid needed a tremendous amount of help after he was in the hospital. We are so grateful for The Arrow House!! I think given the circumstances and where he is now, it is the best possible outcome. Our Son was there for a little over 2 months and is doing SO well now!! After The Arrow House He went to Newport Academy for 2.5 months part time outpatient and it was a great transition for him! We are currently in therapy once a week with The Help group. - they are great too. They have a therapist, psychiatrist, and parent advocate I meet with once a week. It’s been 5 months since he stayed there. Our kid was getting straight A’s there for a while! We have a family meeting every week on Sundays to discuss as how things are going and implement rules or change things. This is really helpful because we have two households. We are so grateful for the Team at The Arrow House. There’s no way we could have gotten here without them!! I feel like we have our kid back! I joined the PTA and am more involved in school, and I help with the bake sales. My parole agent got me a bed here and this place was okay. Food okay not too many classes and they didn't choke you out with AA. This was during COVID pandemic so family visiting was difficult but drop-offs were okay. My parole agent couldn't have been more pleased I stuck it out. While the hospital itself is a bit old and lacks modern updates, the staff was amazing! Our pre and post op nurse, Brandon, was helpful, kind, thorough, and professional. I was also impressed with the neuro nurse, anesthesia nurse, and especially the PT/OT. It was a stressful day and we felt well supported and cared for. 5 stars on the staff, one star off for the age of the facility. I noticed several negative reviews regarding the ownership here, but based on my recent life-saving experience, the medical staff, doctors, and nurses deserve nothing but praise. Like any major acquisition, there are growing pains, but the care at the bedside remains excellent. I arrived at the ER in a way I never thought possible. After a 17-hour fast and a severe allergic reaction to medication, my body shut down and I lost consciousness while driving on the freeway. Because my Tesla had Full Self-Driving engaged, the car’s monitoring system detected I was unresponsive, slowed down, and safely pulled over to the shoulder—preventing a high-speed catastrophe. My wife was able to alert emergency services via Life360, and when they reached me, I was stabilized enough to stay in the vehicle as it autonomously completed the trip to the hospital. From the moment I "arrived" at the ER and walked in, I was in great hands. I was admitted overnight due to dangerously high troponin levels. Throughout the stay, the nurses and doctors checked on me frequently, kept me comfortable, and monitored my blood work until my levels returned to a safe range. I was discharged within 24 hours feeling alive and well. Huge thanks to the ER staff for their professionalism and care, to my wife for her quick thinking, and to the engineers at Tesla for building technology that literally saves lives when the driver cannot. If you find yourself in an emergency, know that the team here will take great care of you. Rich Vohra 5 months ago I had rotator cuff surgery at this hospital and from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the service was awesome. The staff was attentive, patient and caring. I felt well informed of what the next steps were and completely at ease before my surgery. I was given post surgery care instructions and had an overall excellent experience here. My surgeon was Dr. Chueng and I wish I could remember the nurses names and anesthesiologist name but they were all great and I would highly recommend. I'm now 10 months post op and feeling great!
