Significant improvements have been made to the facility, including updates to the mission statement, management, aesthetics, and especially the counselors who seem far more qualified. However, a non-trivial amount of miscommunication is impacting their clients more than they may realize. That said, it’s important to note that they are still in a transition period, which should also be taken into account.

I have been to 8 treatment centers from Sacramento to Michigan and I can honestly say that skyway house has been the best treatment that I have received BY FAR. The counselors Andy, Veronica, and Madeline actually really care and aren't there for the paycheck. They take an active role in every clients recovery weather they are your counselor or not. The support staff is top notch as well. I came in with virtually nothing. Taylor and Amy and Ajanna literally helped save my life. From listening to my problems to playing cards with me and loaning me books to read. I will forever be grateful for this wonderful place.

I think it's cute that the reviews are either five stars at the top or one star at the bottom. I'm tempted to go for the laugh and say, "Sounds kind of bi-polar to me," but that would be inappropriate. I have had a good experience with Therapeutic Solutions. I like my Dr. (Gamble), and feel that she genuinely cares about my wellbeing and is never judgmental. At one point, when I was about to lose my insurance, the office went above and beyond to rush 3-month refills for me, with a new pharmacy that required a ridiculous number of hoops jumped through. I have also had a couple of times where I, for various reasons, have needed a prescription filled almost immediately, and my Dr. and the staff pulled through for me.

The Alano Club is where people meet to participate in a traditional AA 12 Step program. People mandated by Butte County courts to participate in AA can come to meetings here and get their logs validated. AA meets 7 days a week throughout the days and evenings. Those who work are able to easily participate in AA therapy due to the various meeting times. There's many dedicated men and women who have years of sobriety and who have worked the 12 Steps available here. They are available to provide sponsorship or just simple fellowship. I recommend the Alano Club AA program for people who desire sobriety. Recovery through AA is possible it takes working through the 12 Steps AND the understanding fellowship of the many sober men and women at the Alano Club. You can return to your friends and families alcohol free and have a happy and healthy life.

Hi I went here when I was looking for my mental health solutions after calling a mental health line to get a second opinion. The building was a bit tucked away. But there was a gentleman with bald head there.... I don't remember his name. But he gave me a once over and said I was probably fine if the hotline said I was. I told him about my rapid growth from midlife crisis and he told me it was totally normal to have these things happen. I felt seen when the front desk person saw me too. Accepted me for being human! They made me feel validated because they also knew how hard it is for everyone! I must have gotten lucky! They were open I am grateful we have a clinic to get healthy in for needed individuals! The only point off was because 1) needs more visibility 2) the cost of healthcare sucks! It's too expensive for someone like me to do those meetings. But if you have the money for them give them a go! It's not their fault though! We need all need better healthcare! I got treated different because of i seemed to have my head on my shoulders.

Amazing clinic, though its the first clinic I've been to. The doctors and councilors are more than understanding and will jump through hoops to make the right call. The receptionist are super friendly and make you feel welcomed and belonged, extreamly friendly. They are there for you and it was very apparent. I was recently transitioned from suboxone to methadone, the doctor took her time and did everything right. I could not be more relieved to have such an amazing team of people surrounding me. If you or know anyone struggling with opioid dependency, I highly recommend this clinic. Under there care, you will be heard and treated as someone who matters. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I did 90 days and was treated with respect and empathy. The staff were more than attentive to my needs. USMC OIF vet with PTSD & Substance Abuse Disorder. I was able to develop a rapport with my counselor and therapist and finally address the issues that have been holding me back. The environment is clean, comfortable and safe. The food is the best I have had in any treatment. I was able to work out in the gym daily and swim occasionally, which helped lower my anxiety and help me focus. While I was there I attended 2 meetings a week and church on Sundays which were vital in helping me progress through the steps. I gained confidence in my abilities by completing 2 projects in the woodshop. Unlike at VA treatment, I was able to vape in designated areas. Whenever I had downtime I could kick back and relax in the rec area, which has two big tv's and some games. In my opinion, this program is like anything else- you get out what you put in. If you are willing to put in the work and be responsible the staff will bend over backwards for you. They even have a VA liaison. Take it from one vet to another, this is the place you want to be for therapy/recovery.

I was in the rehab back in 2012 and it was a shock at first when I was there because I was being defiant fighting it. But once you realize that they're actually really trying to help you and they care then it starts to work. After 7 months of being there I left and stayed sober for about 22 months. I relapsed because I went back into the same environment I came from I thought I could handle being around certain people in places but I was wrong. I have quit on and off since then sometimes 1 years sometimes 90 days. I am currently on day number 577 and I apply every single thing that I've learned in that rehab on a daily basis now so if I had to say anything about this place I would say that I learned a lot and if you go there pay attention listen to what they're saying it will help you in the long run with your sobriety. Don't be hard-headed and listen is my advice. And yes some of the staff there were not my favorite type of people I would hang out with, but they did the job and it helped me. So for that I'm grateful ☝️

Where to start, getting lab results should be easy but it takes two months plus. I go in for labs, low t, they say take it again in 6 weeks to confirm, 6 weeks later still low but it takes a month and a half later until they go over labs finally. They make a referral to endocrinologist he rejects it. Another 6 weeks for labs, followed by a month to hear about results. The staff and nurses are overall pretty rude if you express any dissatisfaction even when you arent saying anything verbally and are just put off by the chaos here. I had so much going on this last week, wife in the hospital, taking care of a house alone, two kids, work, vet appointments, upcoming surgery and the death of another veteran I served with via suicide but hey being slightly irritated but cordial is way too much for them to deal with... they take an hour and a half to fill zofran and then give me attitude about not wanting to wear a mask because I have a breathing problem. I'm not contagious and the labs have to do with my nausea which has been ongoing since 2017 but they didn't care to hear an explanation and then act like they are so put off by my demeanor and not even wanting to hear my words. Must be nice to have such a sheltered little life that you are put off by someones demeanor that you become rude because you find that so hard to deal with. I miss the Visalia Clinic and at this point am just at a loss for words. Patient advocate is a nice lady, she tries, doc tries but beauracracy is a nightmare, Hizen is a good dude too but getting call backs or scheduling to reach out or the front desk to not have an attitude is unreal. The lab techs are sweet too. Some of the staff needs to work on how they treat veterans. I changed my rating, they are pretty decent overall since it seems as if their staff have turned around and are doing much better.
