AToN saved my life, and I don't say that lightly as someone who completed their program two years ago and has stayed sober since. Dr. Kevin's approach to clinical care is unlike anything I encountered in years of outpatient therapy. He has a way of cutting through the noise and getting to what's actually driving the behavior, without ever making you feel judged or reduced. The group sessions, the holistic work, the food, the grounds - all of it creates an environment where healing doesn't just feel possible, it feels inevitable. If you're on the fence, please get off it. This place is the real thing.

Shoreline really saved my life. It was the only treatment program that has kept me sober long term. The program itself it fantastic - really first class therapists, facilities, and programming - but what sets it apart are the sober living part of the program. They provide a structured environment that keeps clients accountable and builds responsibility and provides time to get their lives back on track. Clients are really there for all types of recovery (substance wise, mental health, etc) and all ages. Can’t say enough great things about Shoreline, their staff, and the overall program. S Tier across the board.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Our daughters experience at Cole Ranch was just what she needed. She truly thrived, growing in confidence, accountability, and self-awareness. There’s also a positive energy there. It was important to us that treatment felt like support, not punishment, and Cole Ranch delivered. The small group setting (only about six teens) allows for individualized attention and meaningful peer connections. The level of clinical support was outstanding. She received at least three individual sessions each week, and as parents, we met weekly with her therapist alone and once a week with our daughter included. We live across the country, but were able to fully participate via Zoom, which made a huge difference for our family. She benefited from both traditional therapy (individual, group, and family) and experiential therapies like equine and surf—she can’t wait to surf again! We also really valued the home contract created with her therapist, which helped ensure our whole family was on the same page when she returned home. We’re incredibly proud of her and are forever grateful to the entire team—especially her therapist, Charlie, who knew exactly how to connect with her. Ermeias and Chef Rafa kept her spirts up too. Residential treatment is hard, especially 2000 miles from home so the caring nature of the staff was critical. I would recommend Evolve Cole Ranch to anyone with a teen needing a higher level of care than weekly therapy and they do work with insurance companies so it's much more accessible than one would think.

Evolve Treatment Center has been a great experience for our family. Our 17 year old son has attended Evolve and we feel he walked away with tools that was very beneficial not only for himself but for our family unit. He still needs guidance and structure but the therapy he received was by far was the best we have encountered throughout our trials. I trust Evolve with my future needs as well as my son's. In the event we need Evolve it would be my choice. Jackie in admissions and Anthony our therapist along with the entire staff was wonderful. They are a fantastic team of professionals. Thank you

Evolve is truly remarkable, on so many levels! I brought a broken child to them. She had mental & emotional issues, along with substance abuse. The trauma that my teen experienced in her little life was the underlying reason for all her difficult choices. Evolve Treatment Center is full of experienced Therapists, Psychiatrists, and staff who, combined, run this incredible program. I have my young one home with me again, and she is a new person, ready to tackle life in a new light. It will be years before she can settle into what will be her norm, but she now has all the tools and coping skills she'll need for her new journey. So I was an actual client here at evoke treatment at the dove song house twice due to needing further treatment I will say at the beginning I didn’t like it, but that’s because I fought treatment once I started to cooperate and accept treatment. I found myself beginning to heal from my trauma and grow as person and grow in my coping skills and abilities to tolerate distressing situations and cope effectively. I enjoyed the activities in the ability to still feel like a human and not just like a mentally insane person I found that they respected me and treated me fairly. The food was also very good. Our chef Rafa. is an amazing cook. I find that the rooms are comfortable without making it feel too much like you’re at home. I find that they have a happy medium between making it feel Homie and making sure that it is still a treatment facility in the beginning I found the rules hard to follow and thought that the level system was done, but as I started to work on myself and work harder, I understood why they do it that way, and I find it a very effective system. I’ve already recommended this place to a friend who’s still going through treatment facilities and needing more treatment and I have met and seen great people grow further in their mental health. and take the help and add that to their daily lives so I am extensively grateful for evolve because without that treatment I don’t know if I would be here today.

This place is amazing! My daughter had been at different residential prior to her admission here and let me just tell you this place was 1000% better. Staff is very helpful and nice, communication was great! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great residential for their teen.

Dr. Litch is one of the most genuine and knowledgeable doctors in San Diego. She is clear and to the point and answers your questions clearly. She can come of as intimidating at first but she is wonderful to talk to. I saw Dr. Litsch. This office is kind of hard to find, it’s easy to miss the turn once you exit the freeway and the business park is like a maze. Dr. Litsch provides good medication management. She was available by phone to increase my dose when I needed to due to some breakthrough episodes. Overall good.

Some people on Yelp complained about how hard it is to find the office, so here are a couple of pictures to help you locate it, esp. if you're coming from I-5 or Encinitas Blvd west. Make a left turn onto Saxony and you will pass the Animal Keepers. Then you will make a right turn where you see the sign"Encintas West Professional Building". Keep straight till you see a flagpole on your left. Make a right immediately past the flagpole and you will see a building to your left with the sign "PSCD".

I have struggled with alcohol abuse for the last three years and this was the ONE place out of 23 treatment centers that finally worked. Nobody ever thought they would see me sober, but today I can say I am, thanks to Sober Life. I was a frequent relapser, just barely making it by, and when I decided to seek treatment through Sober Life a whole new world opened for me. The team at Sober Life cares. I felt valued, I felt empowered, understood and heard. After being in and out of so many treatment centers I found myself fatigued, but through my process with Sober Life I actually wanted to continue my program as long as I could. I WANTED to be there and I've learned a life I never knew possible thanks to the team there. I can say that this program likely saved my life, and showed me a new life that I could never have imagined. The support and understanding was beyond belief. I felt so safe there. I've made friendships with a lot of my peers from groups as well. Which I never wanted to do before. Recovery can be difficult to begin, scary to start, but Sober Life feels SAFE. I'm not the type to write reviews, but I know how hard I struggled and for anyone reading this or questioning a start, I highly recommend this team. I am eternally grateful for my experience there.

Sober life has been one of the best experiences in my life! I came in not really sure what I wanted out of treatment and scared to really connect with people and have them see me in my weaker moments. All of the staff at sober life loved me through these issues and helped me get to a place where I felt safe and comfortable enough to communicate what was really going on with me, and gave me the tools I needed to be able to deal with things as they came up on a daily basis. Anytime I was a little off or lost any amount of momentum, they noticed immediately and did whatever they could to make sure I continued my progress and that even though addiction is a lonely disease, it became a lot easier to believe I wasnt alone and recovery is possible. It wasn't complicated at all, they handle the insurance stuff for you so you can focus and prioritize your recovery over anything else. Kimberly, Dan, Ashley, and Kelley have all been huge grounding stones in my recovery, showing up every time and helping me make solutions out of chaos. Having all of these amazing, kind, and extremely dependable people in my life has kept me steady and also taught me what having people around who genuinely love you, want the best for you, and who celebrate your achievements and help you through your downfalls looks like. Like any recovery program, you have to want it and put in your own effort, but they make the weight just lighter enough that it seems much more attainable.

I am literally crying everyone the Techs, nurses, nurse practioner, cook, therapist case manager These are the group of people that were exceception!! you know how some people you just don’t like them annoying especially going threw this I had a nurse Rose a beautiful Tech they sat up with me two nights my pressure was down I couldnt take anything a nuse practioner Mia no matter where you were or what time it was She was there & fighting for you she made sure my insurance was giving me the shot I needed Kyle my therspist all the therapist whobwe had for group, we were changing our lives they helped us threw the day taught us so much, even planting days out movies, bowling, Ben our guy to take us to meetings, dont play Taylor Swift lol but he did take us to 7-11 for a snacks I could go on & on and on, nurse supervisor I dont want to destroy her nameI’m a bad speller, lol Mark tough on me and I needed it, , the Techs OMG you know who you are !!! much love the cooks let say this I gained a lot of weight , movie theator, gym, Not to forget the group of people I took this journey with I am still in contact with them we supported one another we cried laugh together we were all there to break these chains that were holding us down we broke the chains together I am forever grateful to all of these people that were a part of my journey we still have or group chat these are the people I want in my life changed the people & fridnds, check !! You know I don’t even remember how I found this place my dr had me on a lot of pills for decades ir just got worse I needed a change God knows what would have happened it woud’nt be good all I wanted was to get out of Jersey far away that I couldnt run from I didnt see the pictures of this place, Calorfornia here I come When I got off the plane there was a tech holding my name & so we begin These pictures they posted believe me there is so much more the grounds stunning relaxing the pool sitting there seeing the mountains, you can see a horse being trained, the turtle on the side of the house, the goats one guy was from Wyoming his face just glew he never seen or fed goats after the detox your transferred to another house O M G I felt like a Kardasion no kidding my room double doors to a patio I just sat in peace seeing the beauty of these mointakns I’m a city gal, the hummibirds Extraordinary at night 3 bunnies came every night I can hear Ben yelling not to feed them at the time I had 3 grandchilren I missed them so much I named them after them & they honestly they gave me much comfort… ok I could right a novel about this place if you need to fix your life break those chsins GO HERE your going to get that help break those chains in a serene environment with these people that are going to change your life isnt that what were seeking make thst call you will not regret it I’m still here in the mental health program working as a house manager I did it you can do it ..

Bayview is a wonderful facility with a professional and caring staff, who are support in your goals and helping you to accomplish them. The process was easy and professional from checking in to graduating the program. The facilitators of sessions are engaging and try to further deeper thoughts for conversations and the counselors are the best I have had the pleasure of working with. I would recommend this program to anyone seeking a new journey.

If it wasn't for parent care I would have never been able to get my kids back or be the better person that I am today! They helped me with better parenting skills but I was able to fight my addiction and I have been sober since July 1st 2021. Special shout out to Shawna my counselor and Jessica my therapist. I voluntarily admitted myself here for the Detox program from alcohol. I know that you as a person has to be just tired of it for it to stick. I left here free of alcohol dependency and now 3 years later, happy to have chosen sobriety. Sobriety is hard work but so was being an alcoholic. Thank ya'll so much👏🫶

I’ve been inpatient 3 times and outpatient for months in both 2023 and 2025. I was a part of the ED program in early 2025 and it felt like a very safe and tight knit group. I appreciate the high level of support I was getting.

I like to thank Pacific Bay recovery for helping my husband and treating him like family. The staff helped him every step of the way, we have tried several rehabilitation centers and none of them worked. My Husband has been through a lot was addicted to everything was a very agitated man and I am so thankful to have my husband back and it’s all because of this program. He stayed in the copper house for two months and he loved it so much. It was hard to bring him home. He chose his recovery center And he was there because he wanted to be there not because he wanted to be Not because he had to be there. He was not the easiest patient in the beginning, but he stuck it out because Made him feel comfortable as they treated him like family. His big guy there since January 5. My father has been attending this recovery place. Watching someone you love struggle is one of the most painful experiences life can offer. My father’s journey with addiction affected not only him, but our entire family. This rehab gave my dad a chance to step away from the chaos and begin to face the pain that fueled his addiction. This place has treated him greatly and I'll be forever grateful for what they have done. Since entering the program a few months ago, he has begun the hard work of healing. I finally feel like I have my dad back and could not be more thankful for the staff and everyone else included, truly. I HIGHLY recommend this place for someone and/or a family member struggling with addiction.

We are so grateful for the care our daughter received at Evolve Cole Ranch. She truly thrived, growing in confidence, accountability, and self-awareness. The facility is beautiful and creates a peaceful, healing environment. There’s also a positive, uplifting energy—it was important to us that treatment felt like support, not punishment, and Cole Ranch delivered. We especially appreciated the small group setting (only about six kids), which allows for individualized attention and meaningful peer connections. She benefited from both traditional therapy (individual, group, and family) and experiential therapies like equine and surf—she can’t wait to surf again! Most importantly, she left with real skills she’s already using at home. We’re incredibly proud of her and deeply thankful to the entire team—especially her therapist, Charlie, who seemed to know exactly how to connect with her. My daughter’s mental health symptoms showed up at age thirteen. It seemed like overnight we went from having a typical child who enjoyed spending time with family, playing with friends, reading books, going on outings to just wanting to die. It was a very scary and confusing place for our family. I tried and tried to find providers who could help her. She went to multiple providers and programs with little change. After our insurance changed, we were able to start treatment at Evolve. From the very beginning, I felt that we were in good hands. The staff are well trained and the program is well designed. My daughter’s behaviors and our family’s communication patterns changed dramatically. After four years of feelings as if I had lost my daughter, I have my daughter back. I’m grateful that the providers at Evolve have extensive knowledge and experience with teens with mental health issues, and we finally got the help we needed!

Evolve did wonders for our teen. I'm sure it's hard for them to get reviews as this is such a private matter. The whole process is utterly heartbreaking. You don't end up here because you wanna be here. That being said they worked with us as a family so well. I really liked that. They involve you in the treatment and try to ensure that you will have the tools necessary to help your child continue on their path of healing. The path is BUMPY, and it heartbreaking. I remember graduating out of program thinking I don't know if I am ready to do it without them. They helped us navigate tough topics and issues our teen would shut down on us with. Helped us see each other's sides. Helped our teen see themeself. When we graduated out were ok and we did move forward on our own. As a family we are so thankful for the staff at Evolve and the forever impact they have made on our child's life. The skills they shared, our kiddo still uses. Our kiddo really had a connection to the staff. There was also a pet lizard that meant a lot to our kiddo. There's so much I could say about this place. But the biggest is just two words FOREVER THANKFUL.

I went to La Jolla recovery from August to December of 2025. I had been to 4 rehabs before this one, and not a single one had ever helped me get my addiction under control. It’s about a year later now and I can proudly say I’ve been sober ever since I went there. The location is absolutely perfect, the counselors and employees are knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the community there was better than any of the other rehabs I went to. The only reason they lose a star is because they started charging my lab work to my out of pocket card instead of billing it through my insurance, causing me to suddenly owe over 100,000$ in the middle of my stay. I got it figured out so thank god I didn’t have to pay anything, but still I can’t even begin to imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t figured that out. It never happened again and I didn’t hear anyone else say it happened to them so I’m inclined to believe it was actually just an honest mistake. Aside from that this place was perfect and I would highly recommend it

My experience at Restore was genuinely meaningful. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect during a time I needed all three. Everyone I interacted with made an effort to understand me as a person, not just someone going through a difficult chapter. I felt supported without feeling judged, and cared for without feeling like I had lost my independence. The environment was comfortable, private, and much more welcoming than I expected from a detox and recovery center. The combination of care, structure, support, and genuine human connection gave me the space I needed to ground myself and think clearly about what I wanted to do moving forward. So what do I say about Steven and Restore Detox Centers? When I entered through the doors of this facility, I was a completely defeated and tormented soul as a result of the ravages of addiction. I had arrived at the end of myself! All my own ideas about how to live my life had failed me, but THIS is precisely where the LIGHT stepped in and met me; in the total darkness of my own demolition, destruction, degeneration, degradation and demoralization. I was hopeless! I didn't believe that I could recover from this seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and like the song by America, "Lonely People" states, I believed that "life had passed me by." Well, here I am some time later, and I can HONESTLY share with you, from the very Top of my heart, that my life is indescribably wonderful now. My seconds and minutes and hours of each day were filled with torment and dread! When my son experienced a relapse, he was only at this facility for a couple of days, but those three days left a lasting impression on our family. From the very beginning, Steven treated both my son and us with genuine compassion, honesty, and respect. He didn't offer false promises or sugarcoat the challenges of recovery, but he also never lost sight of our son as a person who deserved hope and dignity. It was clear that he truly cared—not just about getting someone through detox, but about helping them find a path to lasting recovery. As a parent, feeling understood and supported during such a difficult time meant more than I can express. I am deeply grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and authentic concern we experienced. Five weeks at the Villa changed the entire trajectory of my recovery. The food alone deserves a mention, whole food plant based meals that actually tasted good and helped me feel human again. But it was the individual sessions, five a week, that made the real difference. I never felt like a number here.

Out of prison since September. Went from CTC, to McAlister New Conmections, to Independent Living. I wasn’t mandated but asked my probation to stay. I’ve been out 9 months from Folsom and I’ve got a five figure savings account, a brokerage account, a permanent job (after working with a staffing agency for 3 months) at a major industrial manufacturer in San Diego and a job making almost 80K a year with a 401(K). When I arrived at this place I didn’t have anything but literally the clothes on my back but the staff inspired me to believe that I was capable of maintaining my sobriety and making something out of my life and thanks to that feedback that I took to heart, I’m a responsible member of society again and I early term off of probation in three months. The Lighthouse Community is a place where people can receive support education and the necessary resources for their recovery from addictions. Life is full of challenges including pain, anxiety, depression, emotional distress and more. In order to begin our recovery process we need to first admit we’re addicted. The Lighthouse will assist those who are suffering and have decided that recovery will be the best option to continue with the process. My personal experience with the Lighthouse was extremely positive, I was given all the necessary tools, information, counseling and guidance to make it happen, beginning my lifelong journey in recovery. The more effort that is put into making recovery a priority the more you will get out of it. The Lighthouse is longer than others and shorter than others, the approach is unique and worth the effort. I have been fortunate enough to be house coordinator for an extended period. I’m grateful for the opportunity to begin my journey, by starting there.
