Our daughters experience at Cole Ranch was just what she needed. She truly thrived, growing in confidence, accountability, and self-awareness. There’s also a positive energy there. It was important to us that treatment felt like support, not punishment, and Cole Ranch delivered. The small group setting (only about six teens) allows for individualized attention and meaningful peer connections. The level of clinical support was outstanding. She received at least three individual sessions each week, and as parents, we met weekly with her therapist alone and once a week with our daughter included. We live across the country, but were able to fully participate via Zoom, which made a huge difference for our family. She benefited from both traditional therapy (individual, group, and family) and experiential therapies like equine and surf—she can’t wait to surf again! We also really valued the home contract created with her therapist, which helped ensure our whole family was on the same page when she returned home. We’re incredibly proud of her and are forever grateful to the entire team—especially her therapist, Charlie, who knew exactly how to connect with her. Ermeias and Chef Rafa kept her spirts up too. Residential treatment is hard, especially 2000 miles from home so the caring nature of the staff was critical. Our 17 year old son has attended Evolve and we feel he walked away with tools that was very beneficial not only for himself but for our family unit. He still needs guidance and structure but the therapy he received was by far was the best we have encountered throughout our trials. I trust Evolve with my future needs as well as my son's. The trauma that my teen experienced in her little life was the underlying reason for all her difficult choices. I have my young one home with me again, and she is a new person, ready to tackle life in a new light. Jon Schneider 3 months ago So I was an actual client here at evoke treatment at the dove song house twice due to needing further treatment I will say at the beginning I didn’t like it, but that’s because I fought treatment once I started to cooperate and accept treatment. I found myself beginning to heal from my trauma and grow as person and grow in my coping skills and abilities to tolerate distressing situations and cope effectively. I enjoyed the activities in the ability to still feel like a human and not just like a mentally insane person I found that they respected me and treated me fairly. The food was also very good. Our chef Rafa. is an amazing cook. I find that the rooms are comfortable without making it feel too much like you’re at home. I find that they have a happy medium between making it feel Homie and making sure that it is still a treatment facility in the beginning I found the rules hard to follow and thought that the level system was done, but as I started to work on myself and work harder, I understood why they do it that way, and I find it a very effective system. I’ve already recommended this place to a friend who’s still going through treatment facilities and needing more treatment and I have met and seen great people grow further in their mental health. and take the help and add that to their daily lives so I am extensively grateful for evolve because without that treatment I don’t know if I would be here today. I was a frequent relapser, just barely making it by, and when I decided to seek treatment through Sober Life a whole new world opened for me. The team at Sober Life cares. I felt valued, I felt empowered, understood and heard. After being in and out of so many treatment centers I found myself fatigued, but through my process with Sober Life I actually wanted to continue my program as long as I could. I came in not really sure what I wanted out of treatment and scared to really connect with people and have them see me in my weaker moments. All of the staff at sober life loved me through these issues and helped me get to a place where I felt safe and comfortable enough to communicate what was really going on with me, and gave me the tools I needed to be able to deal with things as they came up on a daily basis. Anytime I was a little off or lost any amount of momentum, they noticed immediately and did whatever they could to make sure I continued my progress and that even though addiction is a lonely disease, it became a lot easier to believe I wasnt alone and recovery is possible. It wasn't complicated at all, they handle the insurance stuff for you so you can focus and prioritize your recovery over anything else. Kimberly, Dan, Ashley, and Kelley have all been huge grounding stones in my recovery, showing up every time and helping me make solutions out of chaos. Having all of these amazing, kind, and extremely dependable people in my life has kept me steady and also taught me what having people around who genuinely love you, want the best for you, and who celebrate your achievements and help you through your downfalls looks like. After our insurance changed, we were able to start treatment at Evolve. From the very beginning, I felt that we were in good hands. The staff are well trained and the program is well designed. My daughter’s behaviors and our family’s communication patterns changed dramatically. After four years of feelings as if I had lost my daughter, I have my daughter back. I’m grateful that the providers at Evolve have extensive knowledge and experience with teens with mental health issues, and we finally got the help we needed! Before I got there I was experiencing homelessness, suffering from addiction and struggling with mental health. I had nowhere to turn for help. It was during a doctor’s appointment where I was trying to figure out a place to live and how to get help for my mental health and addiction issues that Jackson House reached out to me. Within hours the staff put together everything I needed. They were able to get me a bed the very next morning so I could get off the streets and finally start attending to a problem that was making it impossible to manage my life. Even though I was scared and nervous, from the very first phone call to the very last day they made me feel welcomed and supported. Theirs is a judgment free care. I could feel the devotion and care they showed me and everyone else. The entire staff cares so much about the people that come through their program. From the PCS’s (Monica, Jose, Joanna, Cassandra, Rohan (congrats on the baby!!) Andrew is the type of facilitator who will pull you towards recovery because he can sense when you need help and lets you know it’s ok to speak it. Robert is the type of counselor who makes you feel comfortable every time he facilitates or during one of his individual sessions with you. After my first group with both of them they checked on me everyday. They talked to me, they asked me how I was doing, they held me accountable, they gave me advice and they made me laugh. Went from CTC, to McAlister New Conmections, to Independent Living. I wasn’t mandated but asked my probation to stay. I’ve been out 9 months from Folsom and I’ve got a five figure savings account, a brokerage account, a permanent job (after working with a staffing agency for 3 months) at a major industrial manufacturer in San Diego and a job making almost 80K a year with a 401(K). When I arrived at this place I didn’t have anything but literally the clothes on my back but the staff inspired me to believe that I was capable of maintaining my sobriety and making something out of my life and thanks to that feedback that I took to heart, I’m a responsible member of society again and I early term off of probation in three months. Thank you guys. Wes 3 months ago I came out of prison not expecting anything from a rehab and I fought it everyday I was there but one counselor named Anthony changed my view on how life was suppose to be.lighthouse beacon of hope.. thank you to the staff and the other people who were there it really showed me that there was a different life to live other than prison and rehabs Hec Yanez 3 months ago The Lighthouse Community is a place where people can receive support education and the necessary resources for their recovery from addictions. Life is full of challenges including pain, anxiety, depression, emotional distress and more. In order to begin our recovery process we need to first admit we’re addicted. The Lighthouse will assist those who are suffering and have decided that recovery will be the best option to continue with the process. My personal experience with the Lighthouse was extremely positive, I was given all the necessary tools, information, counseling and guidance to make it happen, beginning my lifelong journey in recovery. The more effort that is put into making recovery a priority the more you will get out of it. The Lighthouse is longer than others and shorter than others, the approach is unique and worth the effort. I called and spoke with Elliot. He made the intake process easy for me. Even throughout my time there, he was on top of his game with my paperwork and answered all my question regarding insurnace and EDD. Angel had me look at the world from a different view which helped me gain insight into what I had control of. I plan on continuing to see her after I leave. Nicolas was amazing. Kae Loc 4 months ago Kick ass, down to earth, mind , body and spiritual experience. Small program but individualized for personal growth. My trip there was some what short due to needing a higher level of care....but I will return for PHP and IOP. Elliot: Right from the first phone call, Elliot clearly articulated the therapeutic approach, making me feel confident. He emphasized both group and individual therapy, which was exactly what I needed. Nicholas: As a facilitator, psychologist, guru, and teacher led with experience . Nicholas felt like a guide, he helped me tune into my inner self, enabling me to make better decisions. His presence was transformative. Angel: Angel, my therapist, didn’t give me answers,she guided me inward. Her support was constant, and she advocated for my transition to a higher level of care. Megan: The bodybuilding doctor next door, Megan, got me moving! I wasn’t one for working out, but her energy and care had me feeling so good, I even attempted to give back by cleaning the windows. Lol I actually ruined the sticker with her logo and she took it with a grain of salt. I will replace it . (^-^) Every interaction was tailored, making this program truly special. I have learned so much and they allowed me to grow towards the goals I've wanted to have for years. Not at all the sit and be bored type of atmosphere. More like sit, share, breath, learn , walk, have fun, place to cry, safe place to be, and a spot where I got totally honest for the first time in many moons. I strive to be better by their guidance and compationate ways they have taught me what to do.
