I spent 39 days at Aton and truly believe it changed my life. I have been to several centers and I made more progress here during my 39 days then I had spending 90 days at another highly regarded facility.
What made Aton special for me is the family feeling from the moment you walk into the door and that familiar feeling only grows the more time you spend here. Aton’s focus around mind body and soul is exactly as marketed between gourmet meals, daily holistic offerings, daily walks and gym.
The therapy is definitely next level. Having individual sessions once a day is life changing. I was amazed when they told me I could choose my team and in doing so I got the pleasure of being exposed to the entire team, appreciated each of their individual approaches, and ultimately got a team that fit my needs perfectly. Specifically I was allowed to do emdr for five days straight which has helped me tremendously.
Thank you to the entire team for helping me through the hardest time of my life without even feeling like it. To those reading these reviews or considering Aton consider yourself lucky as this is truly a special place

Evolve Treatment Center has been a great experience for our family. Evolve is truly remarkable, on so many levels! I brought a broken child to them. She had mental & emotional issues, along with substance abuse. The trauma that my teen experienced in her little life was the underlying reason for all her difficult choices. Evolve Treatment Center is full of experienced Therapists, Psychiatrists, and staff who, combined, run this incredible program. So I was an actual client here at evoke treatment at the dove song house twice due to needing further treatment I will say at the beginning I didn’t like it, but that’s because I fought treatment once I started to cooperate and accept treatment. I found myself beginning to heal from my trauma and grow as person and grow in my coping skills and abilities to tolerate distressing situations and cope effectively. I enjoyed the activities in the ability to still feel like a human and not just like a mentally insane person I found that they respected me and treated me fairly. The food was also very good. Our chef Rafa. is an amazing cook. I find that the rooms are comfortable without making it feel too much like you’re at home. I find that they have a happy medium between making it feel Homie and making sure that it is still a treatment facility in the beginning I found the rules hard to follow and thought that the level system was done, but as I started to work on myself and work harder, I understood why they do it that way, and I find it a very effective system. I’ve already recommended this place to a friend who’s still going through treatment facilities and needing more treatment and I have met and seen great people grow further in their mental health. and take the help and add that to their daily lives so I am extensively grateful for evolve because without that treatment I don’t know if I would be here today.

This place is amazing! My daughter had been at different residential prior to her admission here and let me just tell you this place was 1000% better. Staff is very helpful and nice, communication was great! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great residential for their teen.

Dr. Litch is one of the most genuine and knowledgeable doctors in San Diego. She is clear and to the point and answers your questions clearly. She can come of as intimidating at first but she is wonderful to talk to. I saw Dr. Litsch. This office is kind of hard to find, it’s easy to miss the turn once you exit the freeway and the business park is like a maze.
Dr. Litsch provides good medication management. She was available by phone to increase my dose when I needed to due to some breakthrough episodes.

Some people on Yelp complained about how hard it is to find the office, so here are a couple of pictures to help you locate it, esp. if you're coming from I-5 or Encinitas Blvd west. Make a left turn onto Saxony and you will pass the Animal Keepers. Then you will make a right turn where you see the sign"Encintas West Professional Building".
