This place is great, if you want a Rehab where the staff helps and wants the best for you this place is it. I went to waterfront at first don t go there.. this place the staff and the people become your family, everyone here is for your recovery it s really nice to be treated like a person and not a pay check like waterfront. Here you can have your cell phone, we ve gone camping, we go to Walmart, on fridays we go out and bowl or go to the ocean, and the foods great! If you are lucky enough to find this place and get a bed here don t hesitate. Use all of the resources and tools provided to you by this program while you are there. I was welcomed in and treated with the utmost respect and dignity by the very competent and hospitable staff. Excellent food, staff, facilities and living conditions. HRC gave me the opportunity and tools needed to turn my life around. 40 plus years of drug and alcohol abuse was on my resume going in. The best treatment that I've been to on the North coast. They are very understanding of each individuals needs and work with them on issues that need attention. Wes and Denise are very understanding and patient. THIS IS A VERY LENIENT ENVIRONMENT AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU ENOUGH ROPE TO HANG YOURSELF SO DONT ENROLL IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT RECOVERY!! They have been there and done that so they know what people need to succeed. They also allow people to take Suboxone/Subutex which is a huge tool for some people who are trying to get and stay off opiates. I recommend the 90-day program or you can do 30, 60 or 90 days depending on your needs.

Hi I went through the Singing Trees Recovery program in 2001. The experience was so spiritual. I am an addict and they helped me get clean, stay clean, and so much more! I got to meet myself for the first time in a Long time not to mention some good people whom I call my Friends and my 2nd Family I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs help!The staff are excellent and have all been in my shoes at one time their life so they counsel with real experience on your level not just out of a text book. Because they have a story too. I learned a whole new way of life. I was riding my motorcycle up the HWY 101 early one beautiful morning hoping to find a restaurant to eat breakfast. I wasn't seeing any. I passed Singing Trees because it didn't look like it was a restaurant. However, as I went by, I smelled eggs and bacon so I decided to turn around. I pulled in and asked if Singing Trees was a restaurant? I was told it was a bed and breakfast. I had a hunch it wasn't a restaurant due to the lack of signage, so it was no big surprise. I started to get back on my bike and a maintenance person who worked there (I've forgotten his name but he's a great guy and motorcycle nut like me) stopped me and said there was enough food for me if I wanted to come in. I was starved and so thankful. What kind and generous place. They wouldn't even let me pay for my delicious breakfast.

U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass is a truly unique and effective place for those genuinely seeking to move forward from lives of addiction and self-destruction. We have seen the life of a family member, who had been in a death-spiral for nearly 30 years, be transformed into something amazing. I had the opportunity to visit the U-Turn ranch, talk with the men there working toward restoration, and seeing the unbelievable results of what a Christ-centered recovery environment has accomplished. Not only have the lives of these men been radically changed for their own good and the good of our society, but the impact to the extended families (moms, dads, siblings, children, etc.) has been phenomenal.Some reviews I've read are critical of the methods employed at the ranch. Having served in the US Military, however, gives one the wisdom and understanding that some men are more stubborn than the average person and often choose the harder road. In my experience, these men that have suffered long term addictions, homelessness, abuse and even prison time, generally do not change when the road to recovery is easy.U-Turn for Christ in Grants Pass doesn't offer the easy recovery road. They do, however, offer enormous love and compassion for those who choose the hard path to recovery. None of these men are forced to stay at the ranch - they do so voluntarily. Our family member need several attempts to complete the program without giving up. But what dramatic and wonderful results we have seen as we saw Jesus break through all of the tough outward defenses and form a new man, even to become a leader of others struggling as he had. A modern-day miracle!We are deeply grateful to the many who have worked tirelessly to help these men. A special shout-out to Calvary Chapel Grants Pass and to those who are storing up treasures in Heaven as they see lives transformed directly due to their efforts. What they don't often see are the dozens of lives that are touched through each of the men they help. Having to enroll in a DUI program is not going to be the highlight of anyone s year. That being said, my experience with the program couldn t have been any better. They are kind, understanding, attentive, responsive and seem genuinely passionate about helping people make the most out of the classes and program.I moved out to GA and was having a really hard time with internet connection for zoom classes and the time zone difference. Tina Marie worked with me by sending literature via snail mail and doing private discussion phone calls with me to help make sure I got through the material.I honestly learned a lot about myself, about the law as it applies to driving while intoxicated and about the nature of addiction itself. Some of the tools I learned in the program have been super helpful in maintaining my on-going recovery.The team goes above and beyond when it would likely be easier to just push people through the program and do the bare minimum.Thank you for not being another headache/obstacle in an already difficult situation.Gratitude from the east coast!

I have mixed review about this center. They really helped my friend thank you for being there for him and caring. You offered a safe place for him to become sober and also assisted with a difficult surgery he had to undergo that would have definitely caused a relapse if he was outside of your program. So I am grateful. But this place needs help so badly. They need funding and a really really strong administration something you know as soon as you walk into the delapitated building it does not have leadership. It is beyond filthy. I don t know how anyone stays healthy the yard looks like a prison yard and worse. The communication is a confused mess and the process is a confused mess. Please hire a capable administrator and a grant writer to help make this place better!!

Empire was my first step to my journey once released. I made amazing friends there and met wonderful people. The staff was great and guided me through my journey. I lost some friends I met from there since then and it broke my heart. I have since continued my sobriety. Got full custody of my children, have a full time job and discharged my number. I am currently enrolling in College for Addiction studies. I move back to socal and have been striving to continue my journey on the right path. My experience there was great and positive. These people have completely turned my life around. I was in such a horrible spot in my life and I didn't even realize it until I opened up and started accepting the reality that they recognized and brought to my attention. I was never able to open up to anybody, even through years and years of counseling. But it's only effective if you can be honest with yourself and your counselor. You can trust them, and they will go out of your way to help you. Their motto is counseling from the heart and it is a truly fitting of their goals. They care about you as a person, not as a client, and will go out of their way to help you anyway they can.I've recently graduated after over a year of attending, and I feel accomplished and proud, but at the same time I also am sad to have graduated. I will miss the support they have given me, but also have the option of attending other support groups now that I have graduated. I have obtained coping skills I never knew I had, and for once I feel that I am in control of my life no matter what obstacles may occur.
