I approached this service with some uncertainty, not knowing exactly what to expect. However, my counselor, Paul, turned out to be incredible. He provided immense support during a challenging period in my life, offering guidance and clarity when I was feeling lost. His flexibility in scheduling sessions was particularly appreciated, as it demonstrated his commitment to accommodating my needs.
Moreover, Paul’s kindness wasn’t just limited to me. He consistently showed compassion and understanding towards everyone in our classes, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This positive atmosphere was further enhanced by Christine, the friendly face at the front desk. Her cheerful demeanor, so evident even through phone conversations, never failed to brighten my day.

The food is great, but you have to make your own recovery. You will get a bed and a drug-free environment, but not much else. The staff doesn't seem to like their work and it shows. Don't bother bringing novels to read, they are contraband.

So appreciative of this group of women for the support over the last year. I was able to leave a battery abusive relationship, and not go back. The world perceives abused women often as part of the problem, dramatic, manipulative and not honest because of the times we all often stay in the trauma bond forgiving our abusers and not able to get out. My last abuse was strangulation, and I was able to end it and never go back with the support system I have with Dawn who is a walking miracle in support and her team. Okay, this is my second review as my first one somehow disappeared..
I cannot Stop saying enough amazing things about this clinic and the staff a lot of times when you go to a medicated treatment therapy.
They really Treat you as just a not here. They treat you as a person, and they want to get to know the real person that you are. The counselors are amazing, the the supervisors are outstanding the nursing staff. Is top-notch and they would do everything that they can to make sure that you are safely medicated and taken care of thoroughly.
I am so grateful for this clinic. And everything that they have done for me and my family.
Not onot only have they've been there during difficult hard times
And they always. Always and I stress always will check on you to make sure that you are okay and if you need anything. I don't know a lot of places that will do that..
So if you are contemplating going into medicated treatment therap? I strongly would like to encourage you to give them a call. Set up an appointment, talk with a counselor an intake counselor.
It will truly change your life.. So please take this review to heart and I really wanna encourage you. If this is something you are considering consider going to the clinic.

Duffy’s is a great place to go and do what you need to do to better yourself. People say they only care about is money but that is clearly not true. It’s very clean, the food is great and plentiful, and you can tell the staff genuinely cares. There have been plenty instances when the staff cried or teared up when guest left because the relationships are real!

There are wonderful things about Duffy's- but also things that aren't. Amazing trust between residents and wonderful small groups, beautiful nature, delicious food, and really comfortable rooms. Some staff were like gold and others wronged me to the point that a full investigation was conducted. The results were in my favor, which thankfully led to a change in policy. There is some trauma there and some staff are truly as cold as ice. But I want to emphasize that the ones that shine saved my life.

Interesting that you did not address the negative experience which was major. I’m not griping, just think it’s best practices to give actual feedback and acknowledge that each of us is human with individual experiences.

I am mostly pleased with my time at Duffys. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. I have been sober for two years.
My concerns are the following. The staff as good as they were definitely had favorites. From reading the nightly N/a /a/a meetings to other stuff. Also there is an administrative leak when it comes to housing. I stayed in the villa which is a somewhat private area. Somehow the ladies in adjoining Villa knew ahead of time who my roommate was going to be and the were right I thought this was strange that they knew before me who was living in the Villa.
Most importantly in the bigger picture of my journey in Sobriety they were good. My counselor Mary was the best. (, Ive been sober for over two years and the friends I met there are still my friends to this day. Thank you Duffys for 2.5 years of Sobriety

Significant improvements have been made to the facility, including updates to the mission statement, management, aesthetics, and especially the counselors who seem far more qualified. However, a non-trivial amount of miscommunication is impacting their clients more than they may realize. That said, it’s important to note that they are still in a transition period, which should also be taken into account.

This is actually the best Clinic I've ever been to Thomas has been the best counselor I've had I was at ages before as well but due to getting ran over by a car I was put back on opiate medications and well any addict knows what happens after that when I returned to ages I went through a plethora of counselors but Thomas was solid and stuck around when I came to him I had 14 take homes and lost them because I fell off. Thank God I had Thomas as a counselor he held me accountable for my actions was patient and gentle and see me through my relapse now I have six take homes and I'm doing way better I really believe that if Thomas wasn't my counselor during my relapse I wouldn't be clean right now because of the way he handled the situation allow me to trust him take his advice and now I've been clean for almost 4 months now thank you Thomas and thank you Aegis for employing Thomas.

My experience at the Santa Rosa VA has been exceptional except for my blood draw. I have very fine veins and the person doing my blood draw used a big needle after I explained that only a fine butterfly needle could work. I could not believe that she used a medium if not large needle and stuck it deep into my arm. She got no blood and put me through immeasurable pain! I have never had this happen before ever! After all that my blood work was never sent to me. At age 70 I really should be considered to be the expert on what my needs are. She completely discounted everything. Then she referred me to a supervisor who said oh I see what you mean! Not happy!

I took a dear family friend here and they mixed up his appointment. He was very frustrated and said the staff are disorganized. The building itself is large and looks clean and well-maintained with lots of parking out front. We need to take good care of our veterans and give them priority for their health.

I was in the rehab back in 2012 and it was a shock at first when I was there because I was being defiant fighting it. But once you realize that they're actually really trying to help you and they care then it starts to work. After 7 months of being there I left and stayed sober for about 22 months. I relapsed because I went back into the same environment I came from I thought I could handle being around certain people in places but I was wrong. I have quit on and off since then sometimes 1 years sometimes 90 days. I am currently on day number 577 and I apply every single thing that I've learned in that rehab on a daily basis now so if I had to say anything about this place I would say that I learned a lot and if you go there pay attention listen to what they're saying it will help you in the long run with your sobriety. Don't be hard-headed and listen is my advice. And yes some of the staff there were not my favorite type of people I would hang out with, but they did the job and it helped me. So for that I'm grateful ☝️

I have been a patient here for a few years and have had to switch to a new practioner a few times due to their leaving the practice. That being said I'm always greeted at the front with a friendly smile and that means a lot! Dr. Ben is great and such a breath of fresh air. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be listened to and not rushed. He listens and I believe is an asset to this practice. I know he's on a 6 month contract but I hope he decides to stay!

Doesn't seem to be capable of creating a crisis plan of any kind . Doesn't even let you do an intake unless you're immediately trying to leave that minute, volunteers don't seem to have any idea how their organization works and can't seem to even provide a sentence or two on what services they provide. Literally the vaguest dv shelter I've ever called in my life. They handle calls like if you aren't immediately that second having your life threatened, they don't have time for you because it's " crisis line only " , act suspicious if you ask if they have an opening , try to rush you to do an intake but don't seem to ever actually do one. They also don't seem to understand how the address protection program works .
