I didn’t them a five because they don’t offer virtual therapy options. Other than that, they offer great care and really helped me in my recovery. The staff was super supportive and used evidence based methods, which helped with the combo of addiction and mental health stuff I’ve been dealing with. Their women’s groups felt safe and afirming, which made a huge difference for me. I’m grateful for the help I got

At first I was nervous and scared. I felt rehab was like a hospital ward. Once I arrived from the intake coordinator Janet was so caring, helpful and compassionate. Gregg who drove us to center and Dr Calloway office eased my nerves. Both had a lot of good conversations. Once I got to the center. I was welcomed by my sober mate which I still keep in contact and others. My counselor Jake was amazing very informative, compassionate. All of the counselors including Cdtechs as well. I literally cried when I left I felt it was my second home. Chef Shilpa always made amazing meals that I ever had. I felt very spoiled. My time there was very structured, educational and informative. Provided the tools for me to stay on my sobriety journey. There is so much more I could express about my experience. All I can say I was very blessed, grateful for New Recovery 🙏🏼💖🙏🏼

The Summit Estate Recovery Center is outstanding in every respect. The staff is top notch, highly qualified, professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Client needs, both medical and otherwise, are addressed promptly and appropriately. The facility and grounds are beautiful and comfortable. Both are maintained in excellent condition. All meals are prepared by professional chefs skilled in preparing healthy food that supports the special needs of the human body in recovery. The treatment is holistic and includes nutrition, education, group and private therapy, as well as yoga, meditation, and fitness training. After a 28 day stay in the Summit residential treatment facility, I feel confidant and motivated in my continued abstinence and sobriety. The word from my peers in treatment who have experience with other facilities is that Summit is two cuts above the nearest competition. I am very grateful for my stay at summit and the loving care I received there.

Summit Estates has been a lifesaver for my family. I would describe the staff, counseling services, patient commitment and facility with every superlative term in the dictionary. Our family member received inpatient treatment, PHP and IOP through Summit over the course of a year, and we owe Summit a huge debt of gratitude. The staff members are outstanding: Roshin, Judy, Jon, Annee, to name a few. Addiction is a terrible, lonely disease, and the bright spot has been availing ourselves of the support, tools and community offered by Summit. I would highly recommend Summit and wish that anyone suffering from addiction could be treated by the exceptional professionals at Summit.

Surgery was on a Friday and I stayed in nice room until Sunday when I was discharged. My care team was so excellent and kind. Everyone was polite and did their very best for me. I felt comfortable under confident care.

My mother was treated so well. Nurses and staff very polite ,professional, and respectful. Doctor called us the next day to follow up on care. Later one of nurses called again to confirm post care & offer to help schedule any appointments with her primary doctor. Thank you all!

My husband has been receiving care at this VA medical center and hospital since 2002. Everyone is wonderful. The MSA’s are always so helpful and kind. The cleanliness at this medical center is outstanding! The doctors and nurses are excellent and very good at what they do. We live in a remote area, it is well worth the 5 hour drive to come to this Medical Center for treatment. You know that no matter what specialty or department, you are always going to receive excellent service.

Been coming here for a long, long time Through my recovery I have had many counselors some better than others funny how things happen my husband transferred to Medmark from BAART in Oakland crazy we both ended up on Rich’s case load { R.I.P. RICH another great counselor } so you know we both can’t have the same counselors so of course I got kicked to the curb. Best curb I got kicked to { so to speak. } which is currently Nicole Martinez, the best I’ve ever had , She definitely help me get to where I am now she goes above and beyond helped me in my life so much, I don’t even know what I’m gonna do when we goes our separate ways 😔..I wish I can take her with me. I wish I can give her 20 ⭐️’s but was only given an option of 5 ⭐️.

This review is for Dr. Bae and her staff at Mills Peninsula Hospital! Dr. Bae is a fabulous vascular surgeon along with her staff, everyone was competent and patient. Her presence was very calm and friendly and she provided excellent care to my mom. My mom needed an emergency catheter and Dr. Bae was so gracious to take care of her. Obviously when the clinician tells you that you need to be admitted you are nervous, but Dr. Bae and staff were able to calm my mom and make her feel secured. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Bae and her graciousness!

My husband had a tumor removed from his spinal cord on August 15th, 2025, he had a great experience. From the nurses in the ICU to the ones once he went to a regular room. Just wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ning. A couple of months ago, my grandmother was facing the possibility of heart surgery which was scary, but thanks to her incredible care, she didn’t need it. She was able to place a stent instead, and took such wonderful care of her every step of the way. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions with patience, and made sure she felt safe and supported throughout the entire process. I truly felt like she was in the best hands and she was. I’m beyond thankful for her. She made a difficult time so much easier on me and my family, and I’ll always remember her kindness.

Came here for a dentist appointment. Very busy place with strict policies regarding lateness. Most of the staff were professional and welcoming. The young Asian receptionist on the 5th floor was especially friendly and kind.

Tranquility is the best place I’ve been to. They have taken care of me very well and equipped me with the right tools to succeed once I left. The houses are very clean and well managed! The food is amazing! If you or a loved one need help with mental or substance abuse issues, I highly recommend coming here.

St Mary's Center gives me the feel of home away from home. It's somewhere for seniors to come and get a nutritional meal and receive help in housing. I was locked out due to an unlawful eviction in 2022 & lived in my car for a month while attending St Mary's center. I was a breast cancer survivor until 2023 when I was diagnosed cancer-free & in Feb of that year I was housed in a transitional room through St Mary's. They gave me a safe community where I was able to restart my life, take care of my mental & physical health issues, & in Jan 2024 they helped me get permanent stable housing at Depot Community Apts in Hayward. If anybody needs a safe place to get help, I urge you to come & connect with this senior center. They are a lifesaving God-given resource to help fix your life issues & THRIVE! This is my third rehab experience and I stayed 6 weeks. I was very grateful to be able to get a bed quickly (the very next day). This is not a resort or a vacation, it's a rehab. You won't find a spa or masseuse here, but you will find a safe and supportive environment to work on yourself. The staff was helpful and kind, but of course they are humans too. The main counselor was very helpful and intuitive - she was able to pinpoint what some of my personal issues to focus on were. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone who is serious about working on themselves. Other facilities might have more amenities, more people, etc. but I found that having less external distractions helped me get a lot more out of my time here.
Update 3 years later: still doing well, and still using the knowledge I gained here.

Cliffside Malibu is seriously the best! The incredible staff makes you feel comfortable right away, being surrounded by people who actually get it and want to see you succeed in your journey. Cliffside is top notch. This place will meet even the pickiest of people’s needs. The staff goes above and beyond for their clients everyday. Gretchen the staff supervisor welcomed me with open arms and saw my immediate needs were met quickly and with haste. She really cares and is great at listening and offering thoughtful solutions in the moment. She really makes things happen. Pierre is the cream of the crop, he picked me up and brought me to Horizons House and calmed all my nerves on the way in. He unpacked my clothes and hung all of them in the closet and showed me around and introduced me to the other clients. The therapist I had was more like a great friend. Jill put me at ease and an instant connection was made. She is the best of the best!! I’m going to miss Cliffside very much, I owe them everything. The program was so great and the facilitators were extremely educated and welcoming. If you come across this in your search I promise this is the place to go with. You won’t find anyone as genuine and knowledgeable in this line of business. They gave me my life back and all with 5 star service and accommodations.

This place is amazing. I went for behavioral health and every part of the experience, from the front desk offering coffee, to the intake coordinator, to the therapist that helped me during one of the lowest times of my life, was beyond anything I would have ever expected from a non-profit for low income folks. I am so grateful for the care I received here.

I have used a few different VA medical centers in the US. Palo Alto VA medical center is my VA. They cover everything from vascular surgery to a full professional dental department. Also have one of the top rated mental health hospitals in the country. They literally have saved my life 3 times.

I stsyed there for 2 months . Best thing I did was the picc line. So I did not need to get pocked every am. The nurses were fantastic. Dennis santos the picc line guy was awesome very professional and no pain. Thank you den. I lost my phone their and I could not buy a new one. Staff is not allowed to buy you anything.i would consider staying their again..

I rated Villa 5 stars because this was the only place I was able to be comfortable. They had a daily schedule of different things to do. During your stay you can have visitors and after the 72 hr hold give you passes to leave the campus for an hour or so. The staff was great and the patients were also welcoming. If I needed help this is where I would go. Thank you for saving me.. from myself.

I gotta give these guys 5 stars mainly because the only other review is an (in my opinion) unfair one star rating. I was in Villa Fairmont several years ago and while it may have had some problems (more like a 3.5 or 4 star) it was a place that helped me stabilize in a safe location until I was accepted in a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Home (Bonita House). I currently work in the recovery field and live an independent life. To me that is worth all of the struggles that I have had with any of the programs I have been in. Gotta go through hell before you get to heaven. That's just the way it is when you have a diagnosis that isn't socially acceptable... The system may not be perfect and there is certainly lots of broken components, but we need some kind of system and it does work for some. I know because I'm one.

This place completely changed my life. They run a top notch program and the highly attentive staff see to all your needs with no problems. Doctor Kayman is extremely knowledgeable about the brain and the counseling staff is amazing as well, always offering a listening ear and great advice to help any problems that may arise while in treatment. OMG this place is amazing and work miracles up on that 5th floor in 28 days! Not sure about having to be a celebrity or whatever that one post said unless they are talking about ghetto celebrities. Terry and the staff he gots up on the 5th floor are the bombdigity trust and believe me on dat one fsho. They blessed me with my life back Dr Kayman is a blessing from above and I will be forever grateful for everyone of there all of them will be missed by me fsho. Just walked out that joint yesterday morning and it's the best thing that happened to me in my 47 years on this planet.
