I really recommend this place. I really appreciate the staff and the non-judgmental atmosphere, as well as the program participants. I would say I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a traumatic experience and was just in a very very bad place and needed support. Wasn’t sure what to expect. I felt like I could show up as myself and share, and listen to others, and people really listened. There was solace and comfort in simply sharing or simply listening, and when it was difficult simply showing up. I was only able to do a few weeks because of life circumstances but I definitely am grateful to have had the experience and recommend it to anyone that is having a lot of difficulty in daily life for various challenges, is processing grief or trauma or tragedy. It doesn’t feel forced or judgmental and you will be welcome. I’m glad to know somewhere like this exists because as a child this would’ve been what I needed. But it’s really comforting to know that no matter what kind of awful thing someone is going through or has been through, there is a way forward and there are practical and tangible tools that can take you there. So I really recommend a program like this to anyone struggling and you’ll be glad you had the courage to show up

When I think of California Prime it instantly fills me with so much peace! I came into the program a couple years ago I was a lost, scared, insecure broken woman with addiction issues that were ruining my life. . Through out my stay I learned so many skills to change my life. The facilitators and staff are genuine, caring, compassionate, and informative. Today I have my life back! I'm a mother involved in my kids life, I manage a hair salon, I have a strong relationship with God, and thanks to Cali Prime i have coping skills to work through life's hard times that I will use the rest of my life. When my kid made the brave choice to go to rehab, Treehouse moved at great speed and with such care to envelope us with a plan and reassurance, offered support at many levels, and provided a loving atmosphere for my kid to land. I was dealing with severe cocaine and alcohol addiction. After serving in the military and coming home, I needed help. And I knew that the average rehab and recovery program wouldn’t work with me. I needed something challenging, something different. Treehouse provided that. With a wide range of different and unique approaches to treating addiction like challenging workouts, team building, riding waves on the beach of Costa Mesa on rafts with other men struggling with the same disease, addiction education to help me better understand my disease on a scientific level, and outdoor adventures like going camping, taking trips to cool beaches to surf at. This place isn’t just a recovery center, it’s a family. I am now 6 months sober and graduated the program and I couldn’t feel more grateful and proud of myself. And I know my family could say the same. Anyone struggling with addiction and looking for a program that heals you both mentally and physically NEEDS to give this place a shot.

I attended Opus Women Rehab more than once and each time I go there I feel like I’m stepping home. Staff is amazing, accommodations are comfortable and classes are educational. Staff if very kind, loving and care for you as an individual. At opus you get a therapist, medical staff, case worker and a small group of housemates. On weekends we get out to do activities to bond and it’s great! I would highly recommend coming here because they do help change your life and are there to help celebrate the wins!

I came to Clear a few years ago desperately needing help for my substance use disorder. They worked with my insurance but more importantly than that they worked with me. The staff genuinely cared about my achieving long term sobriety and it showed. Their employees were nothing short of amazing from Program Director to the team of therapists, case managers, nurses, and technicians who not only insured my detox was comfortable but made me feel cared for. I’ve been on my recovery journey since 2023, and I’m now approaching a year of sobriety. I can honestly say that The Canyon and its staff were instrumental in that success. Before coming here, I had attended many programs but never received the true treatment and support I needed.
Antonio, the Executive Director, goes above and beyond for every client. When I called, he immediately sprang into action and secured my spot in treatment with unmatched drive and dedication. The therapeutic staff is exceptional—highly educated, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. Every group session provided real learning and takeaways that supported my growth.
What makes The Canyon different is the genuine care and community they foster. The environment they create allows you to feel supported, encouraged, and capable of building real recovery. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family’s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn’t for Avedis I don’t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for my time at The Lighthouse. From the moment I walked in, I felt safe, cared for, and understood. The staff goes above and beyond. They don’t just do their jobs, they pour their hearts into helping every person who walks through those doors. I truly miss them and consider them family.
The program is amazing and so thoughtfully put together. I was there during Halloween, and the team made sure we still had fun and felt special, as a mother missing Halloween with my children, I truly appreciated this. You can tell they really care about making every day meaningful. The food was delicious, and the kitchen staff put so much love into every meal.
I’m proud and thankful to call myself a Lighthouse alumni. This place completely changed my life, and I’ll forever be grateful for the people I met and the support I received.

The Lighthouse Treatment Center completely changed my life. The program itself is amazing, but what really makes it special are the people. MCR SAVED ME FROM DRUGS, MYSELF & DRINKING! I want to talk about my experience, everyone was very kind and we had a great group that I was with at the time which really helped me to recover. The first two weeks I had still been off the wagon, but as soon as I confessed to the group I immediately began to heal. Carlee was an excellent therapist for me and I remember having lots of friends supporting each other while I was getting my recovery. We would practice breathing exercises, watch movies that would help out with our recovery, and talk about anything or anyone who has been bothering us recently or from anytime in our lives. They even had a special brain training activity on the computer that you do to help focus on recovery. All the teachers were so nice and had fun assignments to do to help keep our minds off drugs and alcohol. They even have doctors who help provide medication to help keep drugs and alcohol away. I am much more responsible and take medication now to help maintain my sobriety. Thank you MCR!

I was just another drug addict going in and out of rehabs and running the streets. A playboy always chasing the next fix. I landed in the care of Dr. Marshall at Decicato. I remember sitting in the room for my first group meeting and Dr. Marshall coming in to lead the group. He told his story and It gave me chills through my body. I felt like I had finally found somebody I could relate to and it gave me hope I spent the next 4 weeks giving it everything I had and following his lead. I was treated kindly coming into dedicato had a couple rough steps moving forward at first but the team at Dedicato helped me move forward any anxiety and fear was stripped from me spending more and more time there, felt very welcomed and the staff was very welcoming. Everyone at Dedicato including the patients and staff all related to alot things I experienced in life and gave me the direction to keep me on a straight path. The one thing that I will carry with me throughout this entire process is that there is more things to life on the exterior then what we feel like doing on the interior. The highlight of my time here was all the activities and groups I would attend climbing mountains physical and mental, also working out activities in the gym they have learning how to balance my mind during the hardships where I wanted to give up but learned to not let myself break during that and the zoom meetings with Charles having stand of jokes as well as being serious on why I’m here, point is come here if your dying to see a light and hope and to feel understood as a person and be accepted for themselves.

Dedicato saved my life and the life of my unborn son... Because of the work and commitment they provided me i was able to obtain custody of all 3 of my kids. Today I am clean and sober and loving life. I never imagined my life would ever be like this. I am so grateful for the Marshalls when I was going through my toughest times they were there for me. They gave me hope. Today I use the tools I learned in my everyday life. My kids are happy and we finally have a home. If you use more than 3 tiny creamers they get mad and say this is why we can't have nice things lol 😂 the people and program is what you make it but it's just hilarious to me that 3 creamers pisses them off when they make over 7000 off one person a day 😂😂😭 also if you complain to upper management they block you and the Jen woman will text you a dozen times asking if you want to be in the program even when you've been in the program over a month they are clueless but I enjoy it me and my wife I'm sober and I quit cigarettes I guess you just do the best with what you get

I love Casa Capri. The programming is excellent, particularly the groups. Individual therapy, nutrition counseling, and case management sessions are also very helpful.
The staff at Casa are top-notch. The high quality programming is really where this facility shines. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff was integral to my recovery and motivation. I always felt valued and safe.
Grace House (the nutrition/eating disorder house) has a special place in my heart. I suffered from a severe eating disorder for over 5 years and finally feel like I’ve overcome it. The dietitians, Hanna and Juliette, are very knowledgeable and great at their jobs.
The accommodations are clean and very home-y; the vibe is definitely not institutional or hospital-like. I loved the neighborhood cat too.
I recommend Casa without reservation to anyone looking to recover from an eating disorder and/or substance abuse issue. I’ve been to other treatment centers for both problems and Casa is the best. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Casa Capri Recovery is truly the most wonderful and clinically strong all-female program I've ever encountered. I've trusted them with my family members and friends struggling with addictive (substance use) and eating disorders, and every time, they were met with unmatched professionalism and pure kindness.
Finding a truly sound, all-female program is rare and more difficult than I ever imagined, but Casa Capri sets the standard. You’re reading this for a reason! Whatever that reason is, my hope is that when you finish you will seek help today, whether for yourself or someone you care for.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve read a few other reviews for treatment centers. At this point, you’re almost certainly tired of reading, “This place saved my life”, over and over and over. The phrase starts to lose gravity. The truth for me, however, is that SCC did not save my life. That would be too simple an explanation of what SCC did for me. SCC didn’t sanded my life, they armed me with the necessary weaponry to walk into battle, to save my own life, and to continue living with honesty, integrity, and self-worth.
SCC has something special. Whether you know it or not, you want it too, trust me. Some of the luxuries of private treatment are there, but that’s not it. What’s special at SCC is the authentic warmth, care, and concern of all the staff. Most of them are in recovery themselves, and ALL of them have been affected by addiction in some way or another and have chosen a path of helping others. This is reflected in the general attitude of the clients, and I can say that when i was there, I felt truly safe. I felt genuinely cared for, and I did not feel like a number or a dollar sign. That’s a huge deal! Just as huge a deal, is the clinical staff’s ability and knowledge, as well as their skill in delivery of information in a way that everyone can understand. The groups were super engaging and current. SCC is one of the few places that really understands the nature of group therapy, and does not execute it like a class or a lecture. Groups at SCC are interactive and interesting and there’s a healthy lean towards peer support and feedback.
Another thing that’s different about SCC, is that they accept private insurance, but they are also a nonprofit so they accept some different types of health insurance you might not expect, and sometimes they do things like scholarships for people in need of treatment that might not have the necessary resources. For example, when I was seeking treatment I had a difficult time finding a good treatment center that would take my health insurance because it was through Covered California. SCC was one of the few places that accepted my Blue Shield of CA PPO, and I know they also accepted my friends Blue Shield HMO too, which is amazing! The best thing I could suggest is if you’re in need of help, no matter what insurance you have, just call SCC and ask! The admissions women are outstanding human beings, and whether or not SCC is able to help you, they will help you find a place that’s right for you! That’s pretty incredible if you ask me.
Here’s the point… if you want to go to treatment and sit around and wait for them to save your life, don’t call SCC, but if you’re looking for a great group of people that care about what they do, if you’re thinking you might need a little help, and you’re willing to do a little work, SCC is your spot! The rewards you experience will be indescribable, I promise you that.

Stayed for a month in a clean, modern complex in a single with its own shower and bathroom. Met a welcoming community and became friends with many. They provide meals and as much groceries as you’ll ever need. AA meetings were local and fun.
