From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and cared for. Having a private room was a huge plus it gave me the personal space I needed to focus on my recovery while still managing my work and school. The fact that I could use my phone and laptop was incredibly helpful, allowing me to stay connected and on top of everything while receiving the care I needed.The staff were incredible not only professional but genuinely caring. They treated me like a friend, making the whole experience feel much more comfortable. The facility itself is very comfy. Plus, there were plenty of fun outings that kept me active and distracted in the best way possible.If you're looking for a place where you can focus on recovery while still maintaining your responsibilities, I can t recommend this place enough!

I had the privilege of going through detox at this facility. To say this place is awesome is an understatement. They sincerely care about your well being and health. It's a small facility so they can spend more individual time with the residents. They cater three amazing meals a day along with snacks 24/7. If you are truly thinking about changing your life forever, this is the place you want to start your journey. I highly recommend this to anyone needing help. Thank you for reading. I went there in November of 2024 because I was desperate to get help. They were very helpful with getting me there, checking with me before I got there, and making sure I didn't change my mind about going (as most of us do when It comes to getting sober). I had an awesome time there, the staff was great (they had their off days, as us alcoholics/addicts do). We were busy most all day every day. They take you to the gym 3x a week, they do panels, and outside meetings as well. The facility itself is clean, there's laundry machines, snacks & coffee on deck 24/7, they take you to the vape shop and wal mart once a week, and they are working on more outside activities. There were tvs and DVD players in every unit with a TON of dvds. No bed time so you are free to roam around the facility or chill and watch TV. The groups got a little boring (but if you are with a good group of guys they are a lot of fun and informative). The way insurance and every thing works was a little frustrating because it's on a weekly basis if you stay on the treatment side or go to phase 2. You are allowed your phone 3x a day for a hour each time. The units are awesome, it is an apartment (if you go try to get into the one above the kitchen on the left haha). Mike who is one of the main dudes is an awesome person! I am currently on day 63 and if it weren't for the lighthouse I would most likely be either dead or in the process of drinking myself to death. If you are in need of help, do the hard thing and ask for it. The money, job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from going won't be there much longer if you continue to do what you're doing. I love you all and hope this helps!

I would like to express my gratitude to the Lighthouse and all the staff who had helped me and guided me. I stayed at the Lighthouse for about 90 days and in that timeframe I was able to receive one on one Care meet with a therapist. All my needs were met. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. Tree House is truly an incredible place. My life was changed in so many ways thanks to Tree House and the amazing staff. I love this place with all my heart and the people I got to know during my time there. The structure of the program combined with the camaraderie of the people around you is a match made in heaven. Hands down the best decision I made for myself to save my life. I had no idea what to do with my life as I was spiraling into a seemingly inescapable abyss until I reached out to Treehouse. I had my reservations about going to a place like Treehouse as a member of the LGBTQ+ community but the amount of support and acceptance I received even before I committed to going was incredible. I gained the knowledge and tools that I use on a daily basis that help me live life to the fullest potential. I discovered new things about myself while going through the program by living outside of my comfort zone and allowing myself to try things I never thought I would be interested in. Treehouse was able to create a space where I could explore these new things and create strong bonds with guys that impacted my recovery in the best way possible and gave me a stronger foundation to move forward with my life. The therapy was life changing, shoutout to Chuck and Ryan, they saw something in me that I could not see for myself and helped me bring that out. The coaches were incredible as well, shoutout to Dylan, he taught me so much that went above and beyond physical fitness and weight training. Vechi and Brandon were instrumental in working with me to get me the help that I needed and incredible human beings. Words cannot express how grateful and honored I feel to have gone through and graduated from this program. If you're looking for a place that'll give you the best chance at success in recovery, this is it. You are worth it.

When I first walked through the doors at Treehouse, I was lost, broken, and trapped in a cycle of addiction that I never thought I could escape, Never! I had become a prisoner to alcohol and drugs, and my life was spiraling out of control. The guys at Treehouse, there programs, and there unwavering support, helped me find my way back to the person I was meant to be!At my lowest point, I felt like there was no hope But within the walls of Treehouse, I found Compassion, Understanding, and the TOOLS I needed to fight for my sobriety. Through counseling, support groups, and the kindness of those who had walked this path before me, I learned that I was NOT alone. I discovered strength within myself that I never knew existed, and for the first time in a long time, I believed in the possibility of change. I learned to take Responsibility for my Actions, to heal from the pain I had caused myself and others, and to embrace a FUTURE filled with HOPE. TREEHOUSE gave me the courage to rebuild relationships, to Chase Dreams I had long abandoned, and to live a life of PURPOSE and CLARITY.Today, I am proud to say that I am sober. Every morning, I wake up with a sense of Gratitude instead of dread. I have regained my health, my relationships, and most importantly, my sense of self-worth. NONE of this would have been possible without the GUIDANCE and SUPPORT that Treehouse provided me during my darkest days.I just want to say Thank You for being the place where I found healing, hope, and a second chance at life. I have and will carry the lessons I have learned within me ALWAYS, and I hope to one day give back to others who are fighting the same battle. So 4 outta five is high for me. This place is far from perfect. But if you think there s a perfect treatment center out there, it s time to snap back. Let s be honest, for those of us looking for places like this online, our lives are far from perfect. Typically we re looking for excuses why not to go rather than reasons to go. I never read the reviews because someone always has an ax to grind. Instead of grinding axes, I ll just say this time was different. 6th trip in 2&1/2 yrs to treatment. Places I d rate higher. But it was Windward Way where I was able to find the missing pieces of my puzzle and my hidden secrets that were keeping me sick. You only get out of treatment what you put in. I entered detox with the gift of desperation. It wasn t amenities and luxuries that made the difference. It was a frontline staff that lives and breathes recovery and genuinely cares about the clients. All the BHTs, group facilitators, my therapist, case worker, & med staff pour their souls into this work. Their love and concern overrides any complaints I could muster. I m the hardest of cases. The breath in my lungs is a legion of miracles. But the fact that I m happy joyous and free today is a testament to the effort, care, and concern of people like Mark, Tony, Ottis, Jerald, Sina, Andrew, Saul, Kenny, Andria, Adam, Kelly, Nick, Shaina, Didi, Casa, Thomas, Sarah, Emily, Bryce, John AKA Pouter, Josh, Matt (still got hair envy bro), Gauge, Armand, of course Javon, PA Shapiro (I hope that s right because his management of my PAWS was spot on) and a few other angels whose names allude me at the moment.Go meet them. It just might save your life, family, job, freedom, and/or many other things. Give yourself a break. Check your pride at the door, stop making excuses and let these people show you a better way live. Besides, there are worse places to get clean and sober than Orange County, SoCal!!!What y all thought I wouldn t have good stuff to say?! I m SOBER not stupid. Now anyways. Thanks Windward Way!!!

Anchored Tides is the place for you if you are considering changing you current status with addiction. Thanks to the committed and passionate owners/staff, I now have a completely different life today! I was accepted into this program during the worst time of my life, and they above and beyond to help me repair and regain things that had been lost in my addiction such as HOPE. I'm very grateful for the experience I had with these women and will forever miss them. Consider yourself very lucky to be a part of ATR as the women that go through this program come out on top. I witnessed this through my own experience as well as 6 others that graduated before and after myself! Sobriety is one thing, but having a new outlook on life as you once knew it is another! Between the one on one therapy, knowledgeable facilitators who taught practical skills, and the supportive staff, I acquired everything that I needed to stay sober. Revive was a great experience. The first week was rough for myself but after finding a balance within myself and being able to attend groups I was able to acquire the tools I needed to maintain my sobriety.

Akua is where I got clean.The staff is very patient and kind. Because of this, I eventually came around to opening my mind more. I didn t want to participate in meetings and put minimal effort in facilitated group on the beginning. Over time, I felt more comfortable and staff shared their struggles and how they overcame it. I felt like I was able to face the destruction of my past and eventually did. The staff was very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating through my early recovery efforts! Plenty of time is made to provide access to the gym, AA/NA meetings, healthy and delicious food, therapy, group sessions, down time and yoga to name a few of the highlights. I had my reservations before enrolling with Akua but by the end of my month-long time there I was sad to have to leave, knowing that I would miss all the staff and clients, as well as the tools they provided me to succeed within my next chapters of the recovery process. I plan to attend their Wednesday AA alumni meetings!

Coming into a program like this is terrifying. Just making the call takes a ton of courage and effort. The program is challenging in all the right ways: Taking you out of your comfort zone to improve your self worth, massive amounts of material to learn and put into practice, and learning patience. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful councilors and staff. There is no question they care greatly about each and every client, and show that every day and every step of the program. Surf city recovery is a very helpful place and has helped me in my recovery immensely.

I will be forever grateful for Surf City for helping me change my life! Rich, Andrew and all the staff showed me in my lowest point of life that there was a beautiful and different way of life for me as an addict. I came in alone, scared and hopeless and they welcomed me in like they had known me for years. I found a fellowship of people who understood me and actually cared about me and I m so glad to call them all my family now! They prepared me for my return to home and set me up to succeed there. Rich has remained in contact with me after I left to check in and that means so much to me he really cares about his clients and their futures. I have been to a multitude of treatment centers in and outside of California, Avedis Recovery is by FAR the most caring, authentic, and helpful place I have ever been to. It is the ONLY place that I was able to stay sober during my entire time and where I was able to find the confidence in myself to stay sober and where I found real growth. They care. Every other treatment center it was very clear that the management and program directors were really only involved for the money. The program director at Avedis is not, he and all other staff GENUINELY CARE!! Usually at other places you never see the director but here you see him almost everyday, he is involved and genuinely cares about people here and their sobriety. With the help of Avedis Recovery I was able to gain a newfound confidence in myself, my family s trust, my faith in God, and most of all a clear and sober mind. If it wasn t for Avedis I don t know where I would be, but now I am almost 8 months sober and am actually happy and enjoying life. I give all the thanks to God and Avedis!

Don t judge a book by its cover. If you re looking to get and stay clean and focused on your recovery come here, staff and residents are very friendly and the houses are very clean. You get drug tested 2 times a week and at the house. If your serious about getting and staying clean come give this place a try

I felt lost, anxious, confused, and ashamed. But as soon as I stepped into DEDICATO they treated me with compassion and empathy, I wasn't judged at all. I felt so at ease and comfortable. Dr. Marshall is very understanding he knows where I was coming from and he felt my pain. The staff treated me like family. The first person to greet you is Lilly with a smile and helps with any questions you might have, Kalen a staff member and a physical trainer is their by your side step by step. I call them the three wise men again Dr. Marshall keeps it real with me, that's what I wanted honestly, by my side during my journey on recovery. I have David an awesome person has great group zoom meetings. Charles keeps it real also honest and humble, very understanding. I recommend this place to everyone and everybody who wants to change their lives and recover from any addiction. HANDS DOWN the BEST program I've ever been to.I went there a few years back and I've been to several programs, and this one genuinely cares and IS NOT in it for the money. Dr.marshall is very professional and doesn't just sit behind a desk + poures his heart out!

Dr. Marshall is a prime example of fighting the odds and changing his life in a complete 180, inspirational in so many ways. I'm lucky to have the privilege to attend his classes at The Salvation Army and every time it is an exceptional lesson I learn. His story from having nothing to being successful in school, attaining multiple degrees in college, and opening up rehabs of his own shows his determination and will power to want change and better for himself and still try to help others. He has shown great resources and ways to be successful and it is extremely helpful to have a source like him to listen to and learn from. If you are ready to accept the help for in-patient care, Lighthouse Anaheim is the place to go. I have been here all together 202 days at the lighthouse, recently stayed 90 days.. I got nothing but good memories at the lighthouse, the staff is very approachable.. I heard over the years guys in there say that the program here isn't good.. I learned that it's not so much if it's good or bad but what I put into my own program and the lighthouse is a good place to find your real self if you're ready to let go of your own ways.. to honestly surrender.. and be honest with yourself..the lighthouse was my life saver and I knew their light is always on for me to come and feel welcomed each time I relapsed..I had the privilege to have visits from my best friend and family I wanna thank so many staff members for helping me. First of all I went in weighing 170 and left weighing a healthy 199 lbs thanks to my cooks Danny making me fat in a good way , mama B, Jessi, Rita and Christian making my meat perfect. Thank you to the drivers Glen, Rob (Rubano love that nickname), Jos and Wil for good conversations along the drives.. Thank you to client care women Christina and Lisette for getting things of work and medical business taken care of.. thank you to my girls Vanessa and Shannon for helping mentally.. thank you to the leaders of the lighthouse Teresa, Ladonna, Karla.. Jenna & Michelle Jesse. last but not least thank you to my support staff you guys made my stay fly by and had awesome talks when I was happy or mad or irritated thank you Mike, Austin,Eric, Mason, Nicole(detox), Stephanie, Amanda, Jake and Geo .. I know there's others in staff I didn't mention but I thank them also.. if you're ready to change your whole life around i recommend the LIGHTHOUSE.
