If you have been sentenced to take a DUI Class in Contra Costa County I highly recommend this Dawn Center. Ya maybe sometimes the staff may be a little rude with us, but think it about how many wishy washy people do you think come in and out of that center a year? I am sure there are way more than we can imagine.No matter what excuses or what reason you have for getting a DUI in the first place that is not their concern, but you do have to go to a DUI class. So Their concern is you get signed up you come to classes/groups on time pay your fees they provide payments schedules. And don't talk mess be respectful and do what the class requires like the M.A.D.D. class in a timely manner and by the time you are are done you can get your certificate. It is cut and dry. They are not there to become best buddies with us they want to help us get our certificate and be done with it just like we do.The only reason I chose to keep going back is because this is the place to go to get it done. So if you want to get it done go to the Dawn Center Pittsburg and hang in there and be done with it. Wollam Recovery Center literally saved my life. I had lost everything and became homeless. My sister intervened and found this place. I spent 3.5 months there. They have an amazingly organized structured addiction recovery program with daily classes. I highly recommend this place. No judging. My personal experience at new start in concord is was phenomenal. I spent 31 days in the residential program including detox and all around had such a great experience that it was difficult to leave. To start, the medical staff while I was in detox took care of all of my needs. The med techs, nurse practitioners and doctors made sure that I had a comfortable experience while going through the scary process of withdrawing. Not once did I run out of medication and they always made me feel like they cared for my wellbeing and safety. While in residential, the counselors, group facilitators, therapists, and case managers were amazing! Each and every one of them. They had so much knowledge, experience and education, and I learned so much. My personal therapist, Mellisa was absolutely wonderful, and she helped me dig deep and figure out the root causes of my issues that were tied to my past traumas. The family sessions were also extremely helpful. Moving onto the assistant Director and head Director, who both truly cared about the program, the clients, and their staff. It was evident in how the program ran like a perfect machine. They also took us on fun outings, like bowling and going to the beach. The facility was comfortable, clean and well organized. We have full-time staff that keep each bedroom and area of the buildings clean and provided the clients with all of our basic needs. I want to give a shout out to Ofi who was like everyone s mom. We had some awesome amenities too like a gym, A game room, and an outside movie theater with a fire pit. I will truly miss my time at New Start in Concord, and will forever be grateful for this experience. Thank you :)

I cannot say enough about this place, I ve been to other methadone clinics before but this one surpasses them all! The Doctor is absolutely amazing she s so smart and compassionate. The number one requirement you must have in order to work at the front desk is to be totally illiterate, unprofessional, depressed, and hard of hearing.Other than trying to be checked in 30 times before they ACTUALLY check you in the nurses are great . They are really the only ones that seem to care about you. And the counselors are a joke so if you are going to get sober you can not depend on this place for Sh but your dose.

Iv been going here for almost 4 yearsd and at the beginning i did not think i was going to be able to keep going because i was almost late every day to work but ever since Kim and a few other great people came they changed it around FULLY!! Now i show up and im in and out so fast and they have just made the whole process so much better. If you give the workers there your respect they give it back fully and more! I gave it a 4 out of 5 because this rehab is great, with the exception of the director Emily. Ms. Kata and Ms. Linda were fantastic, as were many other faculty. It s a great place to be confined without drugs, and the counselors like Mr. Tom and Ms. Rachel spoke volumes to me. Great place especially for active duty military and veterans!My only problem was with Emily the director at the time who will did anything and everything to keep one at the rehab. I think she just wanted the insurance money.Eventually, I left on my own accord because very little counseling is offered. One on one sessions were rare and by the end of my stay, I left because we were just watching movies during group sessions the whole time.All in all, worth the stay but they will be time where people like Emily will test your patience. She may be gone, so hopefully there s someone new.Celebrating two years sober!!! Thank you Helios!

Yesterday I had an appointment with DR. Robert CAPOZZOLI. He was very professional, friendly, caring and great at his job. He performed his Emg test and explained results so I could understand. Kaiser is a good mental healthcare provider, and they do refer you as needed. Book your appointment and be your best: Therapy, group and individual and referral out to weekly for awhile so effective have not required any medications.

I was wary to come here at first after my sister s own experience and other things I have heard. But the person they paired me up with has been an essential bedrock of support through all that I have been going through for the past two years. The only issue I have had is length between appointments, and if I have to reschedule I end up having to wait at minimum another 3-4 weeks. I am thankful I can wait that long, but I know that it could be a problem for those who might benefit from more frequent help. All in all, I am glad that Kaiser provides these services and hope that everyone else can also find their perfect helper here!

This place is so amazing. This was my very first time on a 72 hour hold in a psychiatric facility so of course I was really nervous. The floor staff is amazing and very comforting. There was times where I was emotional and they would give me a hug and give me words of encouragement. The nurses are so sweet and really listened to what I needed. I felt very seen and heard by my social worker and psychiatrist. They really worked with me on a great treatment plan. I felt very happy here. The food was really good and I was very well fed. All the staff here is amazing. I loved the activities they had for us. I was hospitalized here after going through Hell at two Kaiser EDs. The staff was wonderful and supportive. The staff helped me to feel comfortable and well cared for. My needs were met and I felt it was a safe place for those who needed a greater amount of care and supervision. The groups were very generalized for the wide range of patients whom were housed there. This is a facility that is meant for people who are at risk of hurting themselves or others and/or need to get regulated on their medications. It is meant to be a stepping stone to get more help after you are no longer a risk. I feel the perception of most of the poor reviews are from people who are fighting against what they need rather those who are seeking help.

The clinic is amazing in regard to the friendliness of the staff and ease of access.I am, however, a bit disturbed by the Pride Flag (specifically the "Progress Flag") that is displayed in the main lobby. Personal feelings aside, this has no place in the display; it does not make sense. There's the US flag with all the branches of the military. Then......the Progress Flag.No POW flag, either. How is this Pride Flag equal to the branches of the military? It's not only unnacceptable, but it's out of place. It simply doesn't make sense.Could it be displayed elswhere? Another way?

I take my 94 year old neighbor to his doctor appointments there. Such a well maintained clinic. Hats off to the crew and medical staff here. I've always been able to help my neighbor resolve any medical issues with out any problems here.

Do YOU want recovery? If not don't read this review and go waste your life some more. But if YOU want to change because there's still an ounce of self love left in you this is the program for you. Fight to get in. Some programs focus on keeping you active, working, some are more focused on amenities and keeping you as physically comfortable as possible so you can "focus more on your recovery." Cole House is neither. If you honestly want a good life for yourself this place is a godsend. You'll get your basic amenities, 3 meals, clean bathrooms, and clean beds because that's all you need if your really at wits end. Weights, tobacco and coffee too, but let that be the LAST reason you come here. You don't go to rehab for luxuries. Nowhere else however will you find the combined life experience shared between these counselors. These are people who've DRAMATICALLY changed their lives and have lived what they preach. If there was a series about these guys stories it would break Netflix. They share a profound academic knowledge of recovery and substance abuse and are very hands on in the way they work with people so you will live recovery from day one, they waste no time. These people will be brutally honest with you about your faults and your positive attributes. If I had to go back in time and do it all over again, but had money for a five star resort, I'd still go to Cole house and know my life was gonna change..
