If you have been sentenced to take a DUI Class in Contra Costa County I highly recommend this Dawn Center. Ya maybe sometimes the staff may be a little rude with us, but think it about how many wishy washy people do you think come in and out of that center a year? I am sure there are way more than we can imagine. No matter what excuses or what reason you have for getting a DUI in the first place that is not their concern, but you do have to go to a DUI class. So Their concern is you get signed up you come to classes/groups on time pay your fees they provide payments schedules. And don't talk mess be respectful and do what the class requires like the M.A.D.D. class in a timely manner and by the time you are are done you can get your certificate. It is cut and dry. They are not there to become best buddies with us they want to help us get our certificate and be done with it just like we do. The only reason I chose to keep going back is because this is the place to go to get it done. So if you want to get it done go to the Dawn Center Pittsburg and hang in there and be done with it. Just don't get another DUI or you will have to do the class where ever you decide to take your DUI class, Again. Thank you. To be wise Remember Don't Drink and Drive! Faithfully Me

I cannot say enough about this place, I’ve been to other methadone clinics before but this one surpasses them all! The Doctor is absolutely amazing she’s so smart and compassionate. Ceola is my counselor and she is so smart and so capable, She’s one of the best problem solver I’ve ever met. She’s super responsible and has helped me in my journey tremendously. I can honestly say that I have never had a counselor that has been so educated and knowledgeable! Having her as my counselor and having this particular Doctor has helped me get my life back and my children back. The extent that my counselor has gone for me To help get my life back in order is just absolutely Amazing they should literally get paid triple!I normally don’t write reviews but I think it was so necessary to let people know how great they are. Motty And DC working at the front desk are also amazing! And miss Letta Has helped me a lot also!

I've been going to the program since June 2023. I started out in Concord, was only there for 4 to 6 months before they shut it down. From there I went to Antioch. I have had two counselors, Travis and Danelle, the both of them are Awesome! Very caring, understanding, helpful, and kind! The nurses are great, and the persons at the front desk are Great too. All in All I'd rate them from 1 to 10; I'd give them a 10 meaning Very Satisfied! Thanks for all of your HELP Everyone!! You're the Best!! 😇🥰👍 Terri Rife

I've been going to the BAART clinic in Antioch, CA for nearly 8 hrs and absolutely love the program. So much so I got my BFF to get treatment there and she also lives it and is so glad she took the initiative to go there and like me has found relief from the bandage of addiction. I've had a few counselors and love them all. It is like a big family there from the counselors to the dispensing nurses and all the patients. All the patients know each other and support each other. You feel very safe & supported in their relaxed, chill & friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone experiencing the bondage of addiction. Bcz now instead of the stress of finding opiates and fear of not having them and facing withdrawal now i just take my dose in the morning and don't even think about opiates the rest of the day. Opiate addiction can be an all consuming full time job in which your entire life revolves around getting enough opiates fearing running out and the absolute misery of withdrawal. when you can't get them. But going to BAART has gotten me off that hammster wheel so I can enjoy my life without having to even think about opiates anymore. If you in bondage to opiate addiction do yourself a favor and FREE yourself by going to BAART and start truly livingb& enjoying your life.

This place has a bad reputation, I understand. However, I’ve seen it help several people that actually wanted the help and used the program properly. There is several key words in this comment that are necessary and down right vital in order for the clinic to work the way it was intended. It can help people lead a sober life and there are people that work there that care for the welfare and wellbeing of the patients that go there.

New Bridge offers an exceptionally talented team of, staff members, addiction specialist, and clinician's who've helped me address my co-occurring substances and mental health issues. The New Bridge environment (residential treatment facility, & extended satellite sober living environment), are safe and clean, and provide the type of space where I was able to successfully focus on, addiction & mental health curriculums, group therapy, as well as personalized "one-on-one" therapy/counseling sessions. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...! What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!! I will offer this thought to anyone who is wondering if this is the right place, or not..., "if you have a true and real desire to gain recovery, everything you will need to assist you, to help you focus, guide & support you in the process of recovery.., can be found at New Bridge..!!!" I highly recommend this amazing treatment facility, and hope you do not waste another second deciding on when to start your "road to recovery" at New Bridge - because it starts the moment you say "Yes"..!!! "Thank You New Bridge...!!!" Mike D. 19 Months, 20 Days Sober, and counting..... :) (from date of post)

I entered the doors of MedMark on a Monday morning @ 5:00 am with the expectation of walking out feeling a whole lot better than when I walked in. As told by the young lady on the phone the day before, I needed to come in sick, which of course I did, to a degree. I was interviewed, had a physical and sat. At about 10:30am, I was given my first dose of 20mgs. After about 20 mins, I began feeling a bit better. Then, I was given another 10mgs and went home. For the first time in months, I actually slept. It has been near 6 years since that first day and I can honestly say that I have not used, gone through withdrawals and been able to put and keep my life on a straight and forward path thanks to the counselors, the nurses and the newer management team consisting of Kim and Linda. Not to speak ill of the previous management, so I'll simply say that the change has been a Godsend. Kim, Director of MedMark Fairfield is a very sweet, compassionate and open-minded leader who has opened herself up to speaking to the clients with a bright smile and a big heart. These qualities make her approachable but don't let that fool you, she is as tough as she is welcoming. Sadly, Linda the Lead Manager at MedMark Fairfield is not one that I have spent much time with, however she did see me at a time when my councilor was out sick. The hour we spent together was made very comfortable by her, and I had actually entertained the idea of asking her to be my councilor. We talked as though we had known one another for a lifetime. Those that have her as a councilor are very blessed. I can truly say that I hit the lottery when I was given Sara as my councilor. Early on, I found that she and I share quite a bit in our stories, which right away put me at ease. Sara is bright, knowledgeable and compassionate and right away put me at ease. Given that I have earned my way to monthly meetings, I really look forward to seeing her each time. I have had a few different councilors over time, but Sara has really given me the reasons to trust her. So important as that is, I am lucky to have that with her. One of the huge benefits I found at MedMark was that the councilors I had seen had all gone through very similar situations as I had. It truly makes for a foundation to build on when there is that common denominator. It is easy to sit with your client and simply listen to them for an hour, but to really connect with them, making them feel as though they really matter and to build that trust and rapport. Now, I have heard people complain about this or that at MedMark, unfortunately, in an environment such as this it is to be expected. My response, typically sharp tongued is this; Hmmm, I don't recall getting an invitation to come join them so frankly we really can't complain. Speaking from experience, MedMark is #1 on my top 5 Methadone Clinics. lol

I’ve been going to MedMark for a while now and I’m incredibly grateful for the support they’ve provided. The staff is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, always offering personalized treatment and guidance. The clinic is clean and well-organized, making the experience as stress-free as possible. They offer a range of services that go beyond just methadone maintenance as well. I highly recommend MedMark for anyone seeking help with opioid addiction - it’s the only thing that actually stuck for me. Ps it’s pretty easy to succeed here. Be respectful, give clean UA’s and attend your sessions - then you get take homes. Any complaints probably stem from one of those not being followed… :)

I came to Contra Costa Regional after a full-blown panic attack finally made me face the truth. I'd been hiding my cocaine use for years while running a startup in Seattle. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect from this place, but it ended up being a turning point. They respected my need for privacy and were cool about me still needing to check in on work. The therapists actually listened and the CBT helped me deal with the anxiety I’d buried. It’s not fancy, and the tech setup could be better, but the care was real. I left focused and feeling like myself again.

This place saved my life. The first time I came here, I was 12 years old. I was very scared but the staff were really nice and supportive. The program is really helpful, I'd recommend this place to any child who is struggling with mental health. They also have a program to treat ED's. I've been to the 3 East B adolscent psych unit multiple times, so I'm very familiar with everyone. The therapist Emilio, Megan, and Susanna were so nice to me, and a nurse named Chris. I spent 2 of my birthdays here, my 13th and my 14th. They made it a fun time even if we were in a hospital:) The patients I've been with were always really nice. I was hospitalized here after going through Hell at two Kaiser EDs. The staff was wonderful and supportive. The staff helped me to feel comfortable and well cared for. My needs were met and I felt it was a safe place for those who needed a greater amount of care and supervision. The groups were very generalized for the wide range of patients whom were housed there. This is a facility that is meant for people who are at risk of hurting themselves or others and/or need to get regulated on their medications. It is meant to be a stepping stone to get more help after you are no longer a risk. I feel the perception of most of the poor reviews are from people who are fighting against what they need rather those who are seeking help.

The clinic is amazing in regard to the friendliness of the staff and ease of access. I am, however, a bit disturbed by the Pride Flag (specifically the "Progress Flag") that is displayed in the main lobby. Personal feelings aside, this has no place in the display; it does not make sense. There's the US flag with all the branches of the military. Then......the Progress Flag. No POW flag, either. How is this Pride Flag equal to the branches of the military? It's not only unnacceptable, but it's out of place. It simply doesn't make sense. Could it be displayed elswhere? Another way?

Went to counseling here, group and individual here, received excellent care by therapists, psychologists and also psychiatrist. I was wary to come here at first after my sister’s own experience and other things I have heard. But the person they paired me up with has been an essential bedrock of support through all that I have been going through for the past two years. The only issue I have had is length between appointments, and if I have to reschedule I end up having to wait at minimum another 3-4 weeks. I am thankful I can wait that long, but I know that it could be a problem for those who might benefit from more frequent help. All in all, I am glad that Kaiser provides these services and hope that everyone else can also find their perfect helper here!

I went to archway having lost everything. Cars homes kids family money. I lost everything. I came to archway recovery services October 11th 2024 having no idea who I was or what to do about my addiction to methamphetamine. They taught me about my triggers and how to identify them. They taught me patience. I was planning to go for 45 days and graduate and ended up staying a whole 90 and going to SLE (SOBER LIVING ENVIRONMENT) I found out where I was in my recovery when I never even knew there was a place i I could be which was I was in preparation and by the time I got out was in action. The Rech Techs (to many to name)are very nice and professional. The managers Ms. Donna and Ms. Letti are very nice and professional and amazing people. The executive director Kevin is also an amazing person. This program is like none I have ever been to. It has a panel to go through before you graduate and the reason for that is to be sure you are ready for the outside world before you enter it. Some people may not like it but I loved the way they ran it. It's a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone in this world who has ANY kind of addiction. Thank you ARCHWAY RECOVERY SERVICES you saved my life and repaired my relationships with the most important people in my life. When my life got harder you guys all worked very hard to make it better and I appreciate each and every one of you - always and forever Rochelle Souza
